Spieces: Longneck
Age: 8 if was human (not sure how LBT ages work)
Apperance: Bright pink body,has a blaze of white going down face.
Blue eyes and like Littlefoot has a patch on her back expect hers in white.
White on her knees.
Personality: Shy and easily frightened. Some might call her paranoid. She idols Littlefoot but is terrified of Cera,which Cera likes to make use of.
Family: None (Deceased).
Not all characters are needed of course but you have a large choice,if I forgot somene you want to be tell me.

Yes it was odd..
And annoying cause it ruined the 'realistic' (if you call it that) LBT world RP. That person just joined in randomly,none of us had any idea who they were.

Also on a Lion RP I have (no not lion king just lion) it one disaster other the other.
One minute we escaping a fire,the next a flood,then we being hunted.
Annoys me very much so.

Name: Rocky
Species: Domehead
Age: 8
Apperance: Rocky is a dark grey color with a light grey underbelly.
Personality: Rocky is stubborn, hard headed, loyal, and tough. although he loves his adopted family, he sometimes feels alone as the only Domehead among longnecks. He is also the one who has the most faith in littlefoot.
Family: Littlfoot (adopted Brother, Grandma longneck (adopted grandma) Grandpa longneck( adopted Grandpa), Shorty (adopted brother), Bron (adopted father). Littlefoots mom (adopted mother, deceased.)
Bio: Rocky was found as anegg by littlefoot's mother before the earth shake, upon seeing it hatch, She adopted Rocky as her own. Rocky has been with littlfoot ever since. He also convinced Bron to bring his herd to the Great valley and live there.

now Nahla isn't the only OC,only Nahla has no family at all. Her story is explained in a fic of mine,gonna post it on here though it pretty dark at times. I made her up years ago based off myself. I was gonna name her Nala,but Nahla seems more uquine,and I later found it it's an actual Arabic word,just like Ali is. Now Nahla is my username on almost every site I join.
Nearly everyone bullies her expect Littlefoot in my stories,poor girl.
Whoever wants to start go ahead,in most RPS I join we use ( and ) for OOC talk
Not sure how that works on this site though,can someone explain that to me.

But the problem is that I really haven't a clue how to roleplay :S
So it'd be kind, if someone can tell me :)

Sure Ducky,Ducky is yours.
If you's really feel like it you can be more then 1 character. Like I got Littlefoot and my OC.
And Ducky,it quite simple all you do is type out an action your character does,for sample.
Littlefoot turned to face the newcomer,she was in horrid condition "Who are you?" he tilting his head.
Something like that,short and makes sense.
For every new character you got doing stuff you start a new paragraph.
The most important thing however,is to try and stay in character.

I plan to leave my OC out for a bit and bring her in later.

Ducky-yeah Spike is easy,he just doesn't can much action due to him not speaking. But he is a main character so leaving him out would be bad.

He is easy indeed. Plus it does make sense that whoever is rping as ducky could do Spike since the 2 of them are siblings and are together often.

As for the parents( apart from Littlefoots parents, which are already taken by SRFG :) ) I'd suggest that we take the parents of our characters, too, if they're needed.

I'll start I guess.
A lone female longneck climbed the Great Wall, "Ow ow ow ow" she complained. Reaching the top she sighed and looked around. She looked into the valley and smiled "I made it!" with that she limped into the valley.
Starts with Nahla committing break and enter..nice :lol

(Okay I hope I'm doing this right. XD)
The bright circle was letting it's light flow into the Great Valley as it peeked over from behind the great wall. Grandma Longneck was already awake, along with her mate, and looked over to her sleeping grandson, before nudging him slightly with her head.
"Wake up, little one," she said softly. "The bright circle is rising into the sky."

Littlefoot moaned and rolled over,a slight crash made him jump "What was that?" he asked his Grandparents.
Nahla stood up after crashing head first into a tree "Dumb tree!" she complained rubbing her head.

Grandma and Grandpa looked at each other, slightly concerned.
"I don't recognise that voice," said Grandma. "Perhaps we have a visitor in the Valley?" The two elderly longnecks looked behind them, where they had heard the voice.
"Hello?" Grandpa called, looking into the forest, where he heard twigs snapping and something shuffling around.

Startled Nahla fell backwards,the bright pink female gasped. She was only about Littlefoot's age but she was in horrid condition. She was covered in cuts some still bleeding and underweight.

Grandma and Grandpa stared in horror as the little longneck stumbled over.
"Oh... Oh my goodness..." Grandma gasped, shielding Littlefoot's eyes with her tail as she didn't want him seeing the terrible condition of the poor little one in front of her. Grandpa rushed forward to inspect the young one, many questions running through his head. Who was this young child? What had caused her to get so many injuries? Was she all alone, and if so, how long for?

"Grandma?" Littlefoot asked scared "Whats going on?
Nahla stared up at Grandpa terrfied and took a few steps back,overcome with pain and exhaustion she collapsed unconscious.
Littlefoot was terrfied "Grandma? Whats going on?"

Grandpa could only watch in terror as the longneck collapsed in front of him. Grandma was shocked, but had to answer her grandson's question, even if she had no idea how to explain this.
"I-I'm not sure, little one," she stuttered, before turning to her husband. "Dear, is that...?"
"I don't know," Grandpa shook his head in reply. "Grandma, go with Littlefoot and get some treestars, quickly. She's dangerously underweight and needs to get her strength back up."
"Of course," his mate replied, picking up Littlefoot and wandering off to find some good treestars to eat. She just hoped that the little one would make it though okay.

Littlefoot had more questions for his Grandma "Who is she anyway? No herds have been by lately"

"I don't know, Littlefoot," Grandma replied as she quickened her pace, grabbing some treestars for both her grandson and the other little one, before heading back.
Back at the resting place, Grandpa had started licking the longneck's injuries clean, still full of worry. He thought this longneck looked familiar, but shrugged it off for the time being, focusing on making her at least little better than she looked right now.

Moaning Nahla awoke "Where am I?" she shook her head. Upon seeing Grandpa she screamed believing she was like her father and would want to to hurt her.

Grandpa immediately backed off after the longneck screamed at him.
"Don't worry," he said. "I don't mean you any harm. You're in the Great Valley. You're safe here."

Nahla looked around amazed "Wow..real green food...I never seen green food before" she turned to Grandpa "So you won't kill me?.

Grandpa was horrified at the words that just came from her mouth.
"K...Kill you?" He struggled to just say that one word. He shuddered. "Of course not! I'm here to help you."
At that moment, Grandma poked her head through the trees. On her back she carried not only treestars, but a variety of treesweets and sweet bubbles too. She sighed with relief when she saw the little longneck awake again.
"Thank goodness," she breathed. She turned to the little one. "I didn't know what you liked, so I got a bit of everything for you. I'm afraid my grandson may have already tucked in, though." She turned to face Littlefoot and chuckled.

"You probably will when you find out who my father is.." she sighed "My father is Hades of the Shadowlands,my siblings are dead..and mother" she cut herself off and wailed.

Grandma and Grandpa exchanged looks. They knew quite a lot about the Shadowlands, but this wasn't the problem now. Grandma let the food slide off her back as she went up to the wailing longneck, looking at her sadly.
"I'm so sorry to hear that, dear," she said quietly. She looked up to Grandpa, who merely nodded, and she sighed. "Would you... would you like to stay with us for a while?" she asked.

Nahla choked back her tears "May I?....That would be nice" she tried to smile "My name is Nahla by the way".
Littlefoot walked up to her "Hi! I'm Littlefoot!" he said smiling "By the way" he turned to Grandma and Grandpa "Who is 'Hades' and whats the Shadowlands?"

"Er..." Grandpa hesitated. "I think we should wait until you're older before I tell you THAT one, Littlefoot."
"Definitely," Grandma agreed. She turned to Nahla. "Of course you can stay. It's our pleasure, Nahla."

"She is not welcome!" a voice made Nahla jump as Three-horn stormed into view. The adult three-horn glared down at the shaking child. "No Shadowlanders are welcome in this valley" Mr Threhorn shouted kicking Nahla "Go on GET!".

Grandpa Longneck soon got in between the threehorn and the young longneck.
"Now, Mr Threehorn," he said. "Hold on a moment. At least give her time to recover and rest up. She's not going anywhere yet."

Mr Threehorn lowered his head to teh coweriing Nahla "Stay away from my daughter Shadowlander,the longnecks may be willing to risk their grandson but I won't allow my daughter to fall for Hades little trap by sending his daughter to befriend the children" he stomed off.
Nahla sobbed and took off running,well limping.
"Nahla! Come back!" Littlefoot shouted follwing her.

Grandma shot a glare at the grey threehorn.
"Don't even go there, Threehorn," she scolded. "She's just a child, and there is no need for such behaviour. Just look at her! She's been wandering alone in the Mysterious Beyond for goodness knows how long, and she needs help."
She turned tail and stormed off angrily, but Grandpa knew that Mr Threehorn did have a point here. He tried not to think about it, but he knew he had to be cautious when it came to her and Littlefoot, in case something happened.

Littlefoot caught up with Nahla "Hey Nahla? It's ok?"/
Nahla sobbed "I don't know if I wanna live anymore"
Littlefoot stared t her in shock "I don't unde\stand..."
Nahla turned and stared at him "Of course you don't,your love you got food you don't understand what I gone though,death seems like the only way out LEAVE ME ALONE!" she took off.
Littlefoot quickly turned and ran back to his Grandparents,"Grandma..Grandpa I'm worried about Nahla she said death was her only way out and she doesn't wanna live anymore".
(Sorry Nahla is an emotional wreck right now,well can you blame her,her father mudrered her mother and siblings in front of her)

Grandma and Grandpa exchanged concerned looks when their grandson told them what he had just heard.
"I suppose that's understandable," said Grandpa. "After what she's been through..."
"Yes..." Grandma agreed. "We need to talk to her. She needs all the support she can get right now, and with her being a Shadowlander, that really leaves just us and a few others." Her husband nodded in agreement, and they walked off in search of Nahla.

Nahla was laying on a small ledge sobbing. She was starting to regret not taking the food those other longnecks had offered her. She was starving you could nearly see her ribs. She wanted her mother.

"Nahla?" Grandma Longneck was relieved she had found her. Grandpa caught up, and had some treestars in his mouth, which he quickly grabbed when he realised that Nahla hadn't eaten anything. He placed the treestars by her side.
"Are you ready to talk?" he asked her. "We understand if you need some time alone. We just want to make sure you're okay."

"I want mother" she sobbed 'I want my mum,she turned to the food and stared at it she was thinking of rejecting it,but hunger got the better of her and she dug into the food like she hadn't eaten in weeks..which she hadn't.

Grandma smiled weakly when she saw Nahla tucking in, and sighed.
"I'm sure Littlefoot knows how you feel in some way," she said quietly, feeling tears stinging in her own eyes. They very rarely brought up the topic of Littlefoot's mother these days, since even suggesting it brought sadness to the longneck family. "I'm sorry, little one," she almost whispered. "I know how horrible this must be for you..."

Guilt spread across Nahla face "Littlefoot's mother...died,...to?".
"I was so totaly mean to him. when he tried to help me..said he had no diea what I gone through" Nahla hit her head against a nearby rock "I can't beleive I did that"

"She did," Grandma replied, staring straight ahead of her. Grandpa, on the other hand, faced Nahla.
"I'm sure he understands," he said. "But he was the exact same way you are now when he came to the Great Valley. We were separated from Littlefoot and our daughter in an earthshake, and we thought both of them to be dead. Within a few days of us arriving here Littlefoot had found his way and reunited with us, but his mother never made it. After he told us what had happened, he was-"
"Stop it," Grandma interrupted, tears flowing freely from her eyes. She'd heard enough now. "Sorry, Nahla," she said, trying to stop herself from going back to the painful memories of the past. "I don't think I'm helping very much."

Nahla sighed and notived the bright circle was setting "I'll go find a cave and rest there tonight,tomorrow I'll leave and be out of your way" she took off a Littlefoot walked up.
Littlefoot stared after her..there was something about her..he liked her. Littlefoot shook his head he was getting a crush on someone he hardly knew.
(Hehe every RP needs a little romance)

Petrie awoke, & though he wanted to go and see what his friends were up to his mother had him stay and eat breakfast then practice some flying lesson she gave to improve their flying now that they were older then they were before. Once this was done he was able to then fly off, looking to see what his friends were up to.

(Ok I'm the temp Mama Flyer till someone comes and claims her so Petrie has a family.)
Mama Flyer nodded with approval at her children,however they were soon interrupted by a very distressed longneck child.
"
"Get out of my way!" Nahla shouted as she bashed past the flyer family

The longneck family also awoke, but Grandma's sleep hadn't been a good one that night.
"Are you okay, dear?" her husband asked her, noticing how tired and down she looked. "You were shuffling around all of last night."
"Yes," she replied, closing her eyes again. "I had a lot of sleep stories last night."
"I gathered that," said Grandpa. "What about?"
"A lot of things," Grandma mumbled, trying to get some more rest. She didn't feel just tired, she felt really weak too.

Littlefoot remained asleep he was also having a sleep story.
Meanwhile Nahla kept on walking to exit the valley.
Mr Threehorn stepped in front of her "Time to get rid of you Shadowlander"
Nahla screamed,the sound could be heard across the whole valley.
(No one love poor little Nahla well that what she believes)

"What was that?" Grandma groaned, still unable to get up. Grandpa was concerned about her, but also about the one who screamed. He had a very bad feeling.
"I'll check it out," he said. "You stay here and watch over Littlefoot." He took off in the direction of the scream.
"Not really like I can do much else, anyway," Grandma mumbled under her breath, looking over to Littlefoot.
(Ah, yes. Time zones, grr...)

Mr Threehorn stood over Nahla's fallen body.
Nahla was laying motionless in a pool of blood.
(Calm she is NOT dead she just weak and passes out easily)

Grandpa was soon towering over Mr Threehorn, a look of pure horror on his face when he saw the mess in front of him.
"What have you done...?" he breathed.

Mr Threehorn rolled his eyes "She was a SHADOWLANDER daughter of HADES don't you remember what he and his family had done to this valley all thoese years ago?" he turned and stormed off away from Grandpa and the 'dead' Nahla.

"She's just a child!" Grandpa called after him. "Give her a chance to explain herself, at least!" He turned to the motionless body in front of him. He was sure he recognised her from somewhere, and that was why in a way, he thought she meant no harm. As for now, he wasn't even sure if she was alive or dead.

Nahla was breathing but it was hard to see,anyone would glance at her and declare her dead,
Meanwhile Littlefoot was crying "Wheres Nahla? She said she'll stay with us. And wheres Grandpa?"

Grandma Longneck was struggling to answer. Her breathing was getting heavier, her head was pounding, and all of her muscles ached.

"Grandma whats wrong!?" Littlefoot asked paniked,his own breathing was getting heavier in panic "Grandma?"

Grandma felt awful. She could barely keep her eyes open now, her head was spinning. The only thing keeping her awake was the desperate cries from her grandson, but eventually, not even that could stop her from collapsing.

Littlefoot completey panicked "HELP! SOMEBODY HELP!" he screamed "PLEASE WE NEED HELP!" he sobbed.

Grandpa was on the way back to the nest, carrying Nahla on his back, when he heard Littlefoot's cries for help. He ran back to the resting place as fast as an old longneck could go, extremely worried.
"Littlefoot!" he called, just as got in sight of the young longneck, and he could also see why he was calling for help. "No..." he breathed as he approached. "Oh no..."

Littlefoot ran up to Grandpa "She won't get up...make her get up" he begged.

Grandpa quickly went over to his wife and checked her all over. He recognised the illness, and sighed with relief.
"She'll be like this for a few days," he informed his grandson. "But she should be all right... I know a certain treesweet that will make her feel better. This is a disease that some outsiders carry with them." He looked behind him at Nahla, wondering if she was the reason for this, and considered himself lucky. He had been the one licking her injuries, after all. He turned back to his grandson. "Keep your distance, Littlefoot," he warned. "It has a worse effect on younger dinosaurs."

Littlefoot nodded "Yes Grandpa.." and still not noticing Nahla laying motionless on his Grandpa's back "Speaking of oustiders...wheres Nahla?"

"Er...." Grandpa hesitated, but he was glad Littlefoot hadn't seen her on his back just yet. "She... she said she was going to stay in one of the caves last night and... she may have left..."
He knew he shouldn't be telling lies to his grandson, and he knew he was in for a big telling off once he found out, but he couldn't bare to tell Littlefoot that she might be dead.

Littlefoot's face fell "She..left?" tears started he closed his eyes and pretended he never had that crush on her "Oh ok...I'm gonna go see my friends" he said in a heartbroken token and walked away.

Grandpa knew that Littlefoot was going to be upset either way, but he was now able to put Nahla down and realised something. It wasn't too noticeable at first , but her chest was slowly rising and falling. She was just about alive. He started tending to her injuries, somewhat grateful that he wouldn't have to consider accusing Mr Threehorn of killing someone. He then looked over to his mate, and decided to get the treesweets, which thankfully grew in the Great Valley. He just hoped nobody else would try to get rid of Nahla while he was gone.

Mr Threehorn walked up behind Grandpa "Wheres the Shadowlander body? I went to go get rid of it before Cera or Trica see it but it was gone"
Meanwhile Littlefoot did't end up going to see his friends instead he walked to the ledge Naha was at yesterday and laid down sobbing..he couldn't deny it...he loved her. It was like his mother sent her for him.

Grandpa didn't answer the question, instead he was picking treesweets and placed them on the ground, then he faced the threehorn.
"This isn't the first time you've tried to do something like this," he said bluntly. "You keep judging a treestar by it's colour, Mr Threehorn. She may have been a Shadowlander, but could you not give her a chance? She was leaving this morning before you showed up and attacked her."

Mr Threehorn knowing he was defeated turn off in huff.
Unknown to Littlefoot,his ledge was right next to where his Grandpa was so he could hear every word he said while taking to himself "Nahla...why did you leave? I would of taken care of you...I loved you...like really loved you" tears fell down his cheeks.

"Littlefoot?" said his grandpa, after finding him on the ledge. "I thought you said you were going to go and play with your friends."

Littefoot looked startled "Ahh they were busy" he lied. Standing up. "What you doing here Grandpa?"

Grandpa gestured to the treesweets on his back. "I went to get these for Grandma," he said. "Did you want to come back for a little bit? There's actually something else I want to show you. "

Littlefoot half smied "Ok Grandpa" but you could tel he was forcing himself to be happy,

Grandpa let a out a huge sigh, hoping that all would be well. "Now, you have to promise me not to tell anyone else about this," he said quietly to Littlefoot, as he walked through the trees to their resting place.

"I promise" Littlefoot said but confused.
Meanwhile.Nahla had came round but her head was pounding,one of her legs was clearly twisted. She tried to clear her head to gather where she was. She realized she was at the resting place of that longneck family she met yesterday.

"Oh, you're awake," said Grandpa as he walked into the resting place. He placed the treesweets at his wife's side before going up to Nahla. "I was worrying about you... again."

"What happened?" Nahla asked "I remember walking and then a three-horn appeared...then everything went black"
Littlefoot's smile grew "NAHLA!" he screamed so loud she had to cover her ears. He ran towards her and hugged her.
"Ow" she complained when Littlefoot bumped into her injured leg.

"Careful, Littlefoot," said Grandpa. He turned to Nahla. "How are you feeling? I'm sorry about that threehorn, I think you should stay well clear of him."

Littlefoot stepped back "Oh sorry".
Nahla licked her lips "Wheres a watering hole...that no one else really goes to,I'm so thirsty I don't think I can go much longer" she said while stuggling to stand on her 3 good legs.

Grandpa looked around at the treetops, even though he knew that the morning dew would have well cleared by now. He then looked back at Nahla, and saw her struggling to stand up.
"Climb on," he said, putting his head in front of her. "I know a place nearby that shouldn't have many dinosaurs around it."

Nahla climbed on Granpa's head,holding her injured leg.
"LITTLEFOOT!" Cera called uncomfortably cose.
"Go" Nahla told him "You should go or dinosaurs might start getting suspicious.
Littlefoot nodded an ran off,still not understanding on why Nahla had to be kept a secret.

Grandpa lifted his head as high as he could.
"It's a good thing Grandma and I are the tallest dinosaurs in this part of the valley," Grandpa said, more so to himself than Nahla. "It's not too far away now, and it's hidden by some tall grass."

Nahla noddes and asked a hard question "Why does everyone hate me? Is it because of who my dad is?" tears filled her eyes "I don't want to hurt anybody honest,all I want is home where I'm not fighting to stay alive every day"

"I know... I know..." said Grandpa calmly. "Hades came to the Great Valley once a while ago, and terrible things happened. Many farwalkers have told us about the Shadowlands, and we had a run-in with Hades with our old herd, but that was a long time ago now..." he trailed off, realising that he probably wasn't helping the situation.

Nahla used her tail to try and stop her tears but it was no use., "I bet your wishing I never came or I would die or something since I am his daughter" Nahla said deperssed as she ducked her her to avoid a branch sticking out

Grandpa reached the small watering hole and checked to see if any dinosaurs were around before lowering his head to let Nahla off. "I don't wish death on anyone," he said, smiling a little at her. "What your father did is not your fault, but I need to ask you something. Just how did you get out and get here?"

Nahla sighed she knew she'll have to explain sometime "Well Hades...err dad killed my brother and sister,I hid behind a rock while mother agured with him..he broke her neck...she died in front of me" Nahla sobbed "Her last words to was was 'run and escape'" so I fled. Dad sent fast biters after me,they cornered me on the wall of the valley,so I took a risk I jumped off it" she nodded to the injured leg "Thats how I got this and most of the cuts I had when you found me,and it was weird some voice keep telling me where to go...and here I am" Nahla looked away thinking Grandpa would think she was crazy.

"Oh dear..." Grandpa sighed, horrified about what Hades had done to his own daughter. "I'm so very sorry to hear about that." He stopped for a moment, thinking about her last sentence. "A voice?" he questioned.

Nahla nodded "Yeah it was all smooth and motherly it said "Follow the bright circle past the rock that looks like a longneck and past the mountains that burn" Nahla tilted her "Also something about my heart whispering"

Grandpa immediately froze. He only knew one dinosaur who ever said those words, but surely it couldn't have been her...
"Strange..." he said quietly.

Nahla turned and drank her fill before locking at her reflection "I look like a mess don't I?"

"A little," Grandpa replied. "But I'm sure after a few week's rest and a good amount of food, you'll be much better." He shifted slightly, before getting a drink for himself.

Nahla yawned and laid her head on to the ground,she closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep. She hardly slept the night before she was far to stressed.

Grandpa looked down on the little one, who had fallen asleep.
"Let's get you back home," he said, picking her up before walking back to the resting place.

Meanwhile Littlefoot was listening to Cera laugh about 'stupid Shadowlanders'
Cera laughed "My dad killed her though so she gone for good".
Hearing that filled Littlefoot with rage he wanted to go to Nahla "I promise my Grandpa I'll be back bye now,see yah" he took. Reaching the resting place he was shocked to find Nahla and Grandpa still gone.

(She's still lying there with her sickness. I haven't forgotten about her just yet. :lol)
Grandma was beginning to stir, moaning as her head still hurt terribly. She didn't try getting up just yet; she would rather let her head clear first.
Grandpa was now taking Nahla back, and his loud footsteps could be heard from the resting place. He just hoped nobody had seen him with the Shadowlander in tow, but at least he now had an explanation that he could give to the other dinosaurs should they question him about it.

Littlefoot ran to greet his Grandpa "Cera said her dad killed Nahla..but she is alive..I don't understand" he said in one big rush.

Grandpa placed the sleeping longneck down, before answering his grandson. "He tried to, Littlefoot," he said solemnly. "But he failed. We have to make sure she stays with at least one grown up until he calms down." Within a few moments he heard shifting and moaning from the other large body in the area, and her mate walked up to her. "How are you feeling, dear?" he asked as his wife opened her eyes and looked at him.
"Awful," she replied. "What happened?"
"Well, you've caught a bad illness, probably from Nahla," Grandpa replied. "I got some treesweets for you that will help you recover quicker." Grandma looked at him, shocked.
"You mean... the Shadowlander's curse?" she questioned faintly. Grandpa hesitated for a moment before slowly nodding at her.

Littlefoot seemed confused "Whats the Shadowlanders Curse?" he asked in a scared tone.
Nahla shifted in her sleep,calm and at peace for the first time in weeks.

"The Shadowlander's curse is the nickname for the illness that your Grandmother has," his Grandpa explained. "Apparently, there's something in the Shadowlands that can cause a harsh illness, but the residents don't get it. Instead, they carry it and pass it on to dinosaurs that don't live there. I got it when we ran into Hades once, many years ago... but I think once you get it once, you won't get it again." He realised what he had too late and tried to change the subject.
"Remember to keep your distance, Littlefoot," his Grandma warned him again. "We have heard that this illness has the worst effects on children, even killing some of them."

"So I have to stay away from Nahla?" Littlefoot asked looking at his friend "Or she will make me sick?".

"For now," Grandpa replied. "It can only really survive in the Shadowlands, so it should die out of her system eventually, as most illnesses do. If she eats well and gets strong again I'm sure it'll go."

Littlefoto sighed "I just don't understand whats so bad about this Hades guy..I mean isn't he Nahla's dad?".
(I'll be away from computer for a bit,I'm gonna bake some cookies)

(Yeah, I won't be on for a long time after this... I'm just about to go to bed, then I've got school tomorrow. :cry )
"Yes," Grandma replied. "But he has done some terrible things..."
"But as we've said, we'll wait until you're older before we tell you about him and the Shadowlanders in general," said Grandpa. "For now, it's time to settle down and rest."

"But.." Littlefoot started but stopped and sighed "Yes Grandma yes Grandpa" he laid down next to his Grandparents keeping an eye on Nahla just in case someone came to hurt her.

Grandma ate the treesweets that were by her side, and almost immediately her head felt clearer, although it was still painful, and her muscles were still weak. She stayed awake and watched the others drift off into sleep. She uncomfortably shuffled further away from Littlefoot, not willing to take the risk. She then looked over to Nahla, knowing that the colours were familiar, but she was struggling to remember exactly where from. It wasn't going to bother her for now, though. For now, she needed more rest.

The Next Day
Littlefoot was first wake,he yawned getting up.
Nahla hadn't moved and she was still fast sleep,her breathing falling and rising softly.

Both of his grandparents were sleeping peacefully. Grandma shifted her head slightly, but apart from that and the obvious signs that they were breathing steadily, there was little movement from either of them.

"Grandma? Grandpa?" Littlefoot asked in an almost depressed tone "I need to talk to you about something" he said poking his Grandpa.

His grandpa awoke, but Grandma kept sleeping, still needing to regain some of the energy the sickness drained from her.
"What is it, Littlefoot?" Grandpa yawned.

"I had a bad sleep story" he replied tears in his eyes "There was this dark shadowy place with no food,and everyone was really skinny. I walked on and Nahla was lying there,I ran over to her but it was awful,she was covered in blood and..." Littlefoot choked back a sob "She wasn't breathing and her neck was broken. Scared I walked on and a big longneck appeared. He was black as the night and his eyes were really red. He laughed in a cruel way and bought his foot down on to me....I d-" Littlefoot stopped he could not say anymore he was too busy sobbing.

"Shh, it's over now," said Grandpa, wrapping his neck around his grandson in a comforting way. "You're back in the Great Valley, Nahla is recovering well, and there is no longneck as black as the night sky here." He was concernced, though. Should he just tell Littlefoot that he had seen Hades in his sleep story? He decided to leave it for now and talk to him about it later, and he rubbed his head gently against the young longneck.

Littlefoot was shaking he was that terrified,still sobbing he laid his head against his Grandpa's.

Grandma soon also woke up after hearing the cries of her grandson.
"What happened?" she asked when she saw the weeping longneck. She was tempted to go and give him a reassuring rub, too, but she was still ill and unable to get up, and she couldn't risk Littlefoot catching the disease, either. Her husband looked at her and just mouthed 'Later' before going back to comforting Littlefoot.

Nahla finally stirred she opened her eyes and yawned. She heard the cries and looked over "What happened?" she asked concerned standing up stiill limping that leg though it dd not seem to pain her"
(Just watched a show on how racehorses work,it was interesting but don't watch if you have a queasy stomach)

"Littlefoot had a bad sleep story," Grandpa explained, still trying to calm down the terrified longneck. Grandma just lay there, feeling helpless. She looked over to Nahla.
"How are you feeling?" she asked her.

Littlefoot was still shaking but was now wuiet.
Nahla glanced at him then turned to Grandma "I'm fine thank you,that sleep was really nice" she looked down at the ground "Sorry I made you sick I fell awful-" she stopped talking and closed her eyes she saw...things she would of rather forgotten.

"Don't blame yourself, dear," Grandma said softly, smiling at her. "These things happen." She noticed that Nahla had abruptly stopped talking and had closed her eyes. "...Are you all right?"

Nahla shook her head "The way you lie there reminds me of when my mother d-' she opened her eyes "And....him he abused me all the time I lived in the Shadowlands" she shook her head "Excuse me" she took off.

The two elderly longnecks exchanged worried glances as Nahla ran away.
"Nahla!" Grandma called. "Oh my...."
"I have to go after her," said Grandpa. "We can't have her running into trouble again. Littlefoot, will you be okay staying here?"

"Yes Grandpa" Littlefoot said "I'll go see what my friends are doing...and try and keep them from finding Nahla" he took off,still upset over the sleep story.
Nahla ran memories running through her mind. She reached the Great Wall and climbed.She wasn't leaving but she just sat there for a while. Knowing hardly anyone came here.

Ducky and Spike had their breakfast when they saw a pink longneck.
" Spike look! Who's that?" Ducky wondered.
Spike makes a strange noice and went on eating treestars.
"I'll follow her," she explained to Spike," you can eat, if you want!"
But Spike followed Ducky.

Grandpa saw Nahla on a high ledge where fortunately, she couldn't be easily seen, but then he saw a sight that worried him. He saw Ducky and Spike heading her way.
"Oh my," he said to himself. "This isn't good."

Nahla was on the Great Wall sobbing,life just did not seem fair to her. To Nahla life was endless suffering.

Ducky and Spike finally reach the Great Wall, where the pink Longneck lied and sobbed.
"Spikie, should I talk to her?" Ducky asked her little brother. Spike nodded so the little Swimmer climbed up to the pink Longneck.
" Hello, what's wrong with you? You seem to be injured :unsure:," Ducky asked.

Nahla turned her head cuts on her face now visible to the newcomers "Go away!" she snapped.

"Ducky? Spike?" came a familiar voice to all of them. Somehow, Grandpa Longneck had managed to climb to the spot where they all were now.

Nahla backed up right to the edge,she was very stressed and paranoid right now.

" Oh, good morning Mr. Longneck," Ducky said," Who is that?"
Spike has more interest in the food growing there than in the pink Longneck.

Nahla was shaking she hoped on her injured leg staring at Ducky just in case she attacked her for being a Shadowlander.

"Er... this is Nahla," Grandpa said to Ducky. "She's a visitor here. Nahla, this is Ducky, one of Littlefoot's friends."

Nahla just stared at her. Feeling dizzy she laid down "Please go away....I'm too dangerous".

"Hello Nahla!" Ducky welcomed her," this(*points at Spike*) is my little brother Spike. He can't speak, oh no no no! So you know Littlefoot?"

Nahla shifted herself further away shivering "You really should not come near me" was all she said.

Grandpa sighed. "Do you need some time alone?" he asked her, ready to shoo away the other young ones.

Ducky was kind of shocked. "Why is she acting like this, Spikie? I don't understand why she's so ... I don't know, no no no!" Spike grumbled something, Ducky understanded." It's better we ask Littlefoot, you're right, Spike." Ducky climbed on Spikes back and they went away in search of their friend Littlefoot.

Nahla screamed "I can't take this anymore! I don't want to live anymore!" she tuned to Grandpa and got down begging "Please kill me".
(Nahla will be ok she just acting like this cause of the way her father treated her)

Grandpa looked horrified. "Nahla, what's gotten into you?" he asked. He turned to the other children. "You should go home, and whatever you do, do not tell anyone about Nahla, especially not Mr Threehorn. The consequences otherwise will be..." he couldn't finish his sentence. Right now he had to try and calm Nahla down.

Nahla sobbed "Please kill me...I don't want to live" she got closer the edge.Yep she has snapped.

"Absolutely not!" Grandpa exclaimed, grabbing Nahla by the tail and gently pulling her away from the edge. "I know it must be very difficult for you, but no way am I going to kill you. One: It's actually against the rules of the Great Valley to kill any leaf eater, especially a child, so I could end up getting banished for life. That's why in a way I'm glad Mr Threehorn didn't kill you. Two: I've lived a good full life without killing anyone and I don't intend to start now." He looked out over the horizon, sighing. "I'm sorry," he said eventually.

"You don't understand...." she sobbed "He is coming for me" she nodded to a fast biter in the distance watching her then leaving "Thats one of dads spies,he knows I am alive and I'm here. He will come here and get me...".

"He won't," Grandpa said calmly. "We'll try our best to protect you. Besides, if he comes here, many of us here will try and drive him out. We are not having a repeat of last time... Even so, we will block up as many entrances as possible into the Great Valley, so he'll have a harder time just getting in." He got up, ready to go back and warn the others.

Nahla sighed "I'm going to bed" she got up to walk back to the resying place,as she left Grandpa's sights someone reached out and grabbed her. She turned nad gasped.
Hades smiled "Hello daughter" he laughed and picked her up.
"HELP!" Nahla screamed.
(Hades was here the whole time...and he kidnapped Nahla NOOOO)

Grandpa heard the scream and panicked, rushing to the scene. He knew he should have escorted her back.
(By the way, Nahla, do you think it would be okay if we brought in a bit more of the Gang? I feel we've been dominating the rp a bit too much and nobody else has really had much of a chance. Just a suggestion. :))

"Don't even go there Hades," said another voice behind him. Somehow, Grandma had been able to get back up and get to the scene. She stood next to her mate.
"I knew he was here," she whispered to him. "I went to warn the others."
"You shouldn't be getting up just yet, though," her mate scolded. "You're still recovering."
"I'm fine," she lied. "Let's just get this over with."

Hades smiled at Grandma "Oh hello,how do you do?" he laughed tossing Nahla around like a rag doll "Like my daughters little present to you?"
(Nahla and Grandpa have taken over everything we need to start bringing the gang in more....even if I have to replace the others till they come back)

Nahla was terrified.
Hades smiled "Yes she gave you the illness,oh your Grandsons little sleep story? She caused that..she caused all of this she never liked you it was all a scam" Hades was trying to turn them against Nahla.
Nahla whimpered "Please...don't believe him I really like you's and in fact I'm in love with Littlefoot".
Hades whacked her in the head to shut it up "Oh Nahla stop pretending now,our plan worked...shut up".

Grandpa wasn't sure who to believe now. What Hades was saying was true indeed. His wife had caught the illness off her, and his grandson had had a terrible sleep story about the Shadowlands last night. He was beginning to think that perhaps, Mr Threehorn was right. His wife, on the other hand, had already decided her opinion.
"You're lying!" she yelled at Hades, and in the distance thunderous noises could be heard. The adults that she had warned were nearby and they were very angry.

Hades heard them coming and smirked "This will be fun"
Mr Threehorn charged forward "See told you!" he then to Grandpa "Oh Nahla there was hanging around your grandson a while ago,dont be surprised if he is sick too you can't trust Shadowlanders".
Hades rolled his eyes and tossed Nahla.
Nahla did not care,Hade had ruin her only chance at a happy life she wished she would die in this fight.
Hades stomped his foot "Ready for a rematch Great vallayers? Lets go!".
(Pooor Nahla she so innocent :cry)

Grandma was sure she wasn't up for a fight this time. She was still really weak and a fight would end up being a disaster for her. Thankfully, Grandpa wasn't willing to let her fight either.
"Get the young ones to safety," he instructed. The other Great Valley residents were already charging forward, rushing past the two longnecks. Grandma saw Nahla among the crowd, and discreetly picked her up and disappeared behind the trees. Now she just needed to find Littlefoot. She had told him to stay put at the resting place when she saw Hades, but she also knew he had a habit off wandering off. She just hoped now wasn't one of the latter moments.

Littlefoot was laying at the nest-unconscious. Showing all signs of 'The Shadowlander Curse'. He was motionless.
Hades just smirked at the Great Valley adults as his fast biter army jumped out
(Might as well get all the drama all out of the way)

When she saw what was at the longneck resting place, Grandma's heart filled with dread. She set Nahla down, and without another word, went over to her grandson and tried to wake him up.
"Oh, little one..." she cried, confirming the damage that had been done.
"You all know what to do..." said Grandpa calmly as the fast biters came out. He managed to slap one with his tail, sending it flying through the air.

Littlefoot weakly opened his eyes"Grandma? Whats wrong with me? It hurts so much..." Littlefoot coughed,Proving the rumor it is worse on children.

Grandma was very close to crying. "Oh Littlefoot..." She just hoped that he would make it through, but there was another problem. Her mind was beginning to change about Nahla after all, but right now, she tried not to think about that.

Mama Flyer who was hovering above the longnecks to check if she got the children to safety realized what was going on and took off. Reaching to where the adults were fighting the Fastiter army while Hades overlooked. She looked around and flew to Grandpa,hovering in front of him "I hate to tell you this but.....Littlefoot has Shadowlander Curse".
Nahla was watching Littlefoot,tears coming out her eyes. She stood up and whispered "Sorry" she ran off planning to flee the valley.

Grandpa froze in shock, suddenly unaware of that around him. He wanted to go to Littlefoot, but right now many lives and the Great Valley itself were at risk. He hardly noticed a fast biter approaching him on time.
Grandma didn't stop Nahla this time... not only did she have the responsibility of caring for her extremely ill grandson, but she had to get the other children to the other side of the valley. She started looking for Littlefoot's friends first, knowing they would be nearby.

Nahla reached the fight scene.
Hades saw and and jumped down and grabbed her,turning to his army "Lets go we got what we wanted" they took off,the valley cheered not really caring for the child..after all she was just another Shadowlander.
The Gang was hiding in a bush,aware of that Littlefoot was battling to stay alive with an illness he got from one most of them (expect Cera) considered friend.

The Gang( except Littlefoot) watched the battle.
"Who's that black Longneck?" Ducky asked.

Cera rolled her eyes "That is Hades,that stupid Nahla's dad,he gonna kill all of us"
Littlefoot's breathing was heavy,he struggled to stand to go get a drink.

Grandma used her head to support him. She was lucky, she had been able to recover quickly from the illness. Then she remembered about the treesweets. It wasn't a cure, but it would lessen the symptoms slightly. She picked Littlefoot up and gently placed him on the soft banks of the the watering hole.
"Stay there," she told her grandson, and she rushed to the nearest tree that had the treesweets.

Littlefoot managed to get a mall sip of water before collapsing,still half in the water.
Nahla meanwhile was being beaten by her father Hades.
"HOW DARE YOU RUN AWAY!" he shouted before striking her,completely losing his temper. Sadly Nahla was what he was taking it out on.

"Really?" asked Ducky, " I'd rather say the fastbiters'll kill us!" She looked very confused and scared.

Nahla's sceams could be heard for miles.
Cera got closer to Ducky "He will snap your neck right in half,and so will Nahla she is evil too she bought the fast biters here" Cera smirked knowing her dad was right about Nahla the whole time.

"Is that Nahla screaming?" Ducky wondered when they heard the scream, which sounded like someone's getting tortured badly.
"And why do you think that, Cera? I rather think she's being chased by that black longneck!"
Spike looked like he's thinking. He grumbled something, Ducky understood. "Spike thinks that, too, Cera!"

Cera put her nose in the air "Maybe he will kill her with luck:.
Nahla was covered in blood as she kept haveng to accept her fathers beatings.
Hades just laughed as he contuined torturing his own daghter "You wanna go to your mummy again?" he taunted her.

Grandma hastily returned to find Littlefoot half in the water. Panicking, she pulled him out and waited to see if he was okay, nudging him gently. She too heard the screams, and tried as hard as she could to block it out, but it was not going to happen. It reminded her too much of the first time she ran into Hades, and the screams of that family as he killed them. She wanted to intervene, but her priority right now was her grandson.

Littlefoot moaned "Grandma..if I die..can you tell Nahla I love her?".
(Littlefoots turn for drama and the spotloight yay)

Grandma looked at him in shock. "Littlefoot..." Wasn't he a little bit too young to be in love? Then again, she could talk. She fancied Grandpa since they first met, when they were barely hatchlings. "You're not going to die," she said. "I promise. Here." She gave him the treesweets. "Many outside of the valley won't get these. Now try to eat up."
(Also, I might temporarily play Petrie for a bit if that's okay with everyone. :yes )

Nahla kept on screaming as it seemed her life was beaten out of her.
Littlefoot ate a few of the tree-sweets. They mad ehim sleepy,it was a little known side effect in had on children. He heard Nahla's screams "Nahla.." he tried to stand and go save her,his body was fighting against him to just sleep.

That wasn't nice, Cera!" Ducky said indicnantly."Hopefully he won't!"

Grandma couldn't take much more of it. She had to do something.
Meanwhile, in the bush, Petrie was shaking, not used to hearing such screams.
"Oh... what he doing to her?!" he cried.

Nahla was covered in that much blood it was hard to tell her real colour.
Hades laughed and raised his foot ready to snap her neck,a move he done many times before and something he was famous and feared for.
Littlefoot coughed,and fell to the ground and drifted off to sleep.

Suddenly, a large tail knocked Hades' foot out of the way. Grandma Longneck had arrived at the scene, and she was not happy.
"We should help Littlefoot!" Petrie suggested, getting ready to fly to his friend.

(SHE MAGICAL...just kidding well she is half dead...she will be saved though and her and Littlefoot will lie happily ever after)
Hades growled "Go away,I need to destroy this brat" he tried to get around the female and get back to his daughter.

"Yep, Yep, Yep, Let's help Littlefoot," Ducky gabbeled. "Come on, Spikie!
They followed Petrie.

Littlefoot was motionless,he looked really pale. He looked dead,if it wasn't for the slow breathing.
(Maybe they no realize he alive? So they can get drama and spotlight to and when Bron gonna come visit?)

Ducky realized that Cera didn't follow them. "Petrie? Where's Cera?" she asked the flier-

Cera ran ahead of them and screamed,she stood at the watering hole looking down at Littlefoot's 'dead' body.

(School's boring me, so I'll do this instead. :lol)
"Cera!" Petrie called after her. "What wrong?"
Grandma Longneck stood her ground between the longnecks, her rage at Hades giving her strength.
"I'm not going anywhere," she said firmly. She just wished she had some backup with this...
Grandpa Longneck, tired and worn out from the battle with the fast biters, was told to help his wife get the young ones away from the bloody scene. He reluctantly agreed, heading away from the area to the watering hole, where Littlefoot and his friends were.

Ducky saw Littlefoot and stayed where she was. "No!" she whispered with tears in her eyes.
Spike realized Ducky not following him anymore so he run the way back and grabbed his big sister, who started sobbing. He put Ducky on his back and runned to Littlefoot, where Cera and Petrie already were.

(Well, I went to the coffee shop with my friend afterwards, so that was fun! :DD)
Petrie flew over to Ducky and hugged her, crying hard. He didn't want to look at Littlefoot's body.
"Children!" Grandpa called as he approached, only just realising how bad the illness was.

"Please tell me he isn't dead! Oh no, no, nooo!" Ducky cried even harder than Petrie.
Spike rammed his head into the ground. He doesn't want to see and hear anything.

Cera faced Grandpa "Littlefoot's dead!".
Littlefoot remained motionless.
Cera tried to wake him.
Meanwhile growled "The brat needs to die".
Nahla laid there tears in her eyes but did not move,it was like she paralyzed to the spot.

Grandpa inspected Littlefoot closely. He didn't exactly relax when he saw Littlefoot slowly breathing.
"He's alive," he said plainly. He looked around, noticing that his mate was nowhere to be seen. "Where's Grandma?" he asked.
Grandma didn't dare attack just yet. She wished someone was at her side, but it seemed like that was never going to happen. She just stayed there, glaring at Hades.

Mama Flyer arrived at the scene "She went to fight Hades and rescue that shadowlander child...Nawa I believe".
(Snopping flyer and she got Nahla's name wrong)

Grandpa immediately froze with panic. "Oh no..." he breathed. He turned to Mama Flyer. "Take me to her," he pleaded.

Cera sat down to 'guard' Littlefoot "We'll look after him".
Mama Flyer nodded and lead the longneck,reaching the scene "There" she pointed.
Hades stomped his foot "I'm not killing you,you need to be there to see your grandson die,so I suggest you leave unless you wanna watch 2 children die.

"Don't even go there," Grandma said, surprisingly she was still very calm. Grandpa rushed to the scene, standing in front of his mate.
"Hades..." he snarled. "What do you think you're doing back here?"

Hades pointed to Nahla behind them "Getting rid of her,but if you really want a brat who everyone wants to kill anywya here" he kicked his daughter towards them "I have no use for her". He stormed away.
(He can stay out a while now NO ONE LIKES HIM)

(yes, let's focus the relationship of Nahla to the members of the gang :) )
"Littlefoot's alive?" Ducky asked completely wet from crying.

(Nahla awesomeness,even though she had murder attempted on her...twice...no fun being Nahla I guess)
Littlefoot moaned and awoke "Guys?" he whispered. He was alive but in pain from the illness. Unkown to the valley dinosaurs there was a cure. However only Shadowlanders knew of it.

(I suppose being Nahla'd be hard indeed)
"Yeah! He's alive, yep, yep, yep!!!" Ducky hugged Petrie so hard that he nearly can't breathe anymore and kissed him out of joy.
Spike began to eat some food, which is his way to show that he's happy

Littlefoot stood up "NAHLA! I GOTTA SAVE NAHLA!" he ran off but did not get very far before collapsing but he did not give up.
Cera rolled her eyes "Littlefoot forget her".

"Littlefoot!" Petrie cried, flying towards his best friend.
Grandma and Grandpa just looked quite shocked as Hades left. They turned to look at Nahla, wondering what to do with her now. They thought that after this, she surely wouldn't survive.

Littlefoot drug himself out to where Nahla and his Grandparents were.
Nahla didn't even seem aware the other longnecks were there,it was clear she was in a lot of pain and most likely shock to. Another thing was clear-she needed help.

Spike runned to injured Nahla.
"Yeah!Let's help Nahla,"Ducky shouted out and followed her little Brother
-
Littlefoot threw himself next to Nahla's side. "Nahla?" he sobbed,nudging her to try and get response.
Nahla looked at him letting death take her over.
Littlefoot sobbed "Nahla plesae don't die..I-I-I love you".

Grandma and Grandpa exchanged looks. They knew they couldn't just do nothing, since not only would that mean they would have to watch a child die but Littlefoot would also not forgive them for turning their backs on her. They both knew what Hades was like, and now they were convinced that none of this was Nahla's fault. Grandpa went to get to leaves to cover any wounds so that they wouldn't get infected, while Grandma sat herself down next to the younger dinosaurs.
"We will try our best to save her, Littlefoot," she promised, "but all we can do now is hope for the best."
Petrie had followed his friends to Nahla, and shuddered when he saw the state she was in.

Nahla shifted slightly and whispered "Theres...a cure to the illness...it's called a Shadow Fern..it grows near the Shadowlands only but I bought some with me...they are stored near the Thundering Falls,in a small cave next to it" she said in a weak tone.

"I can't look at her,oh no, no, no!" the little swimmer told Spike,
"she lookes too terrible, she do!"
Spike rammed his head into ground again, so Ducky landed heavily on the ground.
"Spike!!!" she screamed angrily.

Cera finally showed and shrugged "Oh well one less Shadowlander in the world".

"Cera!" Petrie complained. "That not nice!"
"The Shadow Fern..." Grandma repeated. "I'll try to find them," she told her mate, before walking off. She wasn't letting her grandson go. Not yet.

Cera laughed "I hope she dies".
Littlefoot turned to her "Shut up Cera! Leave Nahla alone,she is good and kind. If anything you and your dad are the evil ones,your abusing her and trying to kill her! I love her more then I'll ever even LIKE you!" Littlefoot's breathing was heavy,he could feel himself slipping away from life,he needed that fern and needed it now.

"Cera!" Ducky screamed, "why do you want her to die? She may be from the Shadowlands, whatever that is, but she's still a longneck like Littlefoot! So she has the same rights like Littlefoot! And I doubt you want Littlefoot to be treated like this black Longneck did with Nahla! That is horrible!"
Spike licked Ducky with his tongue. "Spike thinks that, too," she interpreted Spikes gesture.

"Ducky right!" Petrie agreed. "It not her fault she Shadowlander, and she get treated horribly by black longneck! So leave her alone!"
"...That's enough, children," Grandpa Longneck said softly. "Perhaps you should go back to your families for the time being. They might be worried about you."
Petrie hesitated. He knew he should tell his mother that he was okay, but he also didn't want to leave his best friend's side.

Littlefoot's eyes were slowly closing,as he started to slip away "Grandpa...tell Grandma I said I love yous".
Nahla knowing an old Shadowlander trick began using her tail to beat him in the chest to keep him breathing till Grandma returned. As she did so she turned to Cera "I did nothing to you and yet you treated me like dirt,if your gonna judge me by who my father is then I wil judge you by who yours is,your a racist judging jerk".
(Cera had it coming)

"But I don't want to leave Littlefoot," Ducky said quietly. "He's our friend! And I don't want to leave Nahla. Otherwise Cera may kill her!" she screamed and points at the threehorn.

Cera huffed and stormed off.
Nahla turned and face Ducky and Spike blood splatted all over her "Go and get some sweet bubbles,Littlefoot will need them after eating the Shadow Fern to get rid of the bitter taste".

Grandpa sighed in defeat, a sigh which meant that the other children could stay. He just hoped his wife would be able to find the cure quickly, as he knew Littlefoot's life was fading, Nahla trying desperately to slow it down and keep him alive as long as possible.
Grandma Longneck had just found the cave which had the Shadow Ferns inside. She quickly grabbed them and rushed back to the area where Grandpa and Littlefoot were, hoping she wasn't too late.

Littlefoot's eyes slipped close,but Nahla kept him breathing.
But Nahla was tiring,she stared into the distance hoping to spot Grandma. Ignoring her own pain she focused on making sue Littlefoot made it,she needed to tell him something important.

"C'mon Spikie! Let's search for sweet bubbles, yep, yep, yep," Ducky chattered." You too, Petrie, hehehe!"

Grandpa was beginning to panic, this couldn't be it now. If Littlefoot died now then that would mean that he had failed his daughter, to whom he silently vowed to protect and keep Littlefoot safe after her death. Petrie agreed to go with Ducky and Spike and followed them.
Grandma had the same thoughts running through her head. Her worry was giving her the strength to move faster, before eventually coming into the view of the rest of her family.

Nahla was also panicking she couldn't keep up much longer "Littlefoot please hang in there because...I love you too. I know I'm a Shadowlander and your Grandparents may not accept this but,I love you and I want to be with you".

Grandma Longneck saw the horror unveiling itself before her eyes, and ran to everyone's side.

While searching for the sweet bubbles they talked about Cera's behavior.
"What do you think about Cera's behavior," Ducky started the discussion.

"Me think it ridiculous!" exclaimed Petrie, flying slowly next to the two dinosaurs. "What her problem anyway? Why do she and her dad hate Nahla so much? What she ever do to them?"
Grandma quickly dropped the ferns, ready to force feed her grandson if it came to that.
"Eat up, little one!" she cried, hoping he could still hear her. "Quickly!"

Nahla raised her head and smiled when she saw Grandma. She looked down at Littlefoot and sighed "It might be too late,but we got to try..you might have to help him "With children the Shadowlander Curse can paralyze them for the last moments of their lives".

Grandma was prepared to shove the ferns down Littlefoot's neck if she had to, she just wouldn't let him die. Grandpa was finding it harder to look; he didn't want to see this happening to his grandson. He hoped it was all just a bad sleep story, and that he would wake up and everything will be fine.

"I don't know, what's so bad to be a Shodowlander, oh no, no, no!" Ducky said and sighned. "It's likely that her father told her lies about the Shadowlands just because he don't like strangers."

"It like that time Doc come," said Petrie. "He not bad, and he no cause bad luck either. It just... happen. And it really not fair to treat others like that!"

Nahla grabbed the ferns and shoved them at Littlefoot "Eat them" she begged trying to get his mouth open,she glanced at Grandma and Grandpa for help "He can't move anything,he is minutes away from death unless he eats these ferns" she sobbed while trying to force the ferns into his mouth.
(Poor Littlefoot getting medicine shoved down his throat)

"Good point, Petrie!" Ducky smiled at the Flier. "I'd really like, if he'd visit the Valley again!"

Both of the longnecks were very upset, forcing Littlefoot's mouth open, but they knew that if they didn't do this, then they would surely lose him.
"Me hope he do... one day," said Petrie, before being interrupted by the sight ahead of them. "Hey, look! There the sweet bubbles!"
-
"Hooray!!!" Ducky cheered, "but how can we get them?, they're very high on this tree and they don't look like you can cut them from it, Petrie!"
-
Nahla shoved the ferns into his motuh but that only caused him to choke.
Nahla thought for a moment and looked around,see saw something they looked like a coconut and split in half. She handed the empty side to Grandpa "Fill this with water and crush up the ferns and mix them in. He can take it like a drink".
(Dr. Nahla :lol)

Grandpa quickly filled the coconut with water from a small nearby stream, and gently crushed the fern with his tail, before carefully giving it back to Nahla.

Nahla quicky starting pouring it down Littlefoot's throat,she was careful to not miss a drop. After she made sure Littlefoot had taken it all down,she stepped away. "All we can do is wait" she said starting to turn away "If he wakes up gagging,thats normal the Shadow fern is very bitter,just give him something sweet" she sighed "You must hate me for all this,so I'll be leaving. Tell Littlefoot I said goodbye and I love him" she started walking off. She was clearly in pain though,she had to try to not cry out with every step. A large cut ran along her back,which where most of the blood must of came from. Nahla shook her her head "How am I still alive?" she whispered to herself.

Grandma and Grandpa didn't quite know what to do or say to Nahla, so for the time being, they late her go. For now, they had to wait and see if their little one would make it.
Meanwhile, another two longnecks were entering the Great Valley on one of their regular visits, ready to see Littlefoot again.
(Bron and Shorty have arrived. :o)

Nahla walked to a cliff and looke down..she could jump and just end it all.
Littlefoot remained unconscious,but his breathing had steadied.
(Super depressed Nahla daw :cry,she need hugz :lol)

Bron saw Nahla and her injuries. He looked horrified when he saw her standing on the edge of a cliff.
"E-excuse me!" he called. "Who are you?"

"I am Nahla" she said in cold depressed tone without even looking "Now if you mind I want to die in peace".

Spike began to run towards the tree and crashed his head against him. He landed on his back having some pain, but he was successful: It rained sweet bubbles.
Ducky jumped around overjoyed:" Well done little brother, hehehee!" she praised Spike, who licked her.

Tria,Cera's step-mother walked up to them "What you kids doing?".

"Die in peace?" questioned Bron. "Now, what's all this about?" He tried to make some eye contact with the young longneck, wanting her to explain herself.
"Hooray!" Petrie cried, then turned to Tria. "We getting these for Littlefoot!" he began to gather some of the sweet bubbles, dropping a few as he went along.

"I'm a Shadowlander ok?!!" Nahla snapped "I'm the daughter of Hades" she nodded to the cut that looked like someone just sliced her open "He did this to me,he killed my mother and my siblings!" she turned back to the cliff "Now leave,I have no reason to live"

"Oh, hi Tria," Ducky welcomed the pink threehorn, the wife of Mr. Threehorn, " we just collect some sweet bubbles for Littlefoot. He's ill you might know, yep, yep, yep."

Tria nodded "Yes pity isn't it. The Shadowlander curse is always fatal" she had no idea about the cure Nahla gave him or the fact Nahla was even still alive.

Bron sighed, and pulled the young longneck away from the cliff gently.
"You know, I have heard stories of the Shadowlanders in my time. I know Hades was behind it all. Had he not come, my parents wouldn't have..." he trailed off. "Anyway, you know, there is always something to live for. Don't you have anyone you care for, anyone who wouldn't want you dead at all? I felt the same when I got separated from my mate and her parents. I knew I had a child, but I couldn't find them anywhere. I thought they had all died and I also thought that there was no reason in me living. Then I found someone that I could love and care for. Surely you can find someone like that, or someone to care for you?" He looked over to Shorty, his adopted son, and smiled gently.

"Oh yes, it is, it is!" Ducky agreed with Tria, "Ok, then.... see you Tria!"
"Yeah! Hi, I'm Shorty!" the green Longneck introduced himself," how did you get all these injuries? They look terrible!"

Nahla smiled at Shorty "Cute name" she smiled. She turned to Bron "There was someone that cared for me...but I gave him Shadowlander Curse and he nearly died...but he recovering as I gave him a cure only Shadowlanders know about" she stared at Bron "Hey..you look like him,his name is Littlefoot".

"Littlefoot nearly died?!" Bron exclaimed. He looked at Nahla. "But... he's recovering, you say? How is that even possible? Most children die if they get the Shadowlander's Curse..." He stared at the bright pink longneck, thinking deeply.

"I gave him a Shadow Fern" Nahla explained "It grows near the boarder of The Shadowlandsit can cure the curse however it is very very bitter,Littlefoot will need rest but he will recover,I also ate the plant and got it out of me so I can no longer spread it" she smiled,she glanced over at Shorty "Why you staring at me?".
(Hehehe sorry had to)

Bron had also noticed Shorty staring at Nahla, and chuckled to himself slightly.
"Kids..." he laughed to himself. He turned to Nahla again. "You have my thanks for saving my son, really. You're more than welcome to join my herd if you wish, or perhaps there are others here who might want to take you in." His mind immediately wandered to his parents-in-law, wondering if they had anything to do with any of this. Surely, after what Grandpa Longneck had told him about the war between the Shadowlands and the Great Valley, most of the residents would have tried to kill her. He also knew, though, that Littlefoot's grandparents were extremely kind and loving dinosaurs, and they may have tried to save her.

"It's just because your injuries look very bad," Shorty responded, "They must hurt a lot, don't they? Anyway, I've never seen a pink longneck *smiled at Nahla*, you're likely to be a rareness!"

Nahla seemed surprised at the offer "Really? Your herd won't try and kill me? The dinosaurs in the Great Valley did only Littlefoot and his Grandparents were kind to me,if it was not for them I would sure of been dead now".

Bron chuckled again. "I'm their leader, I'm sure I can convince them. But for now, I need to go and see my son and my parents-in-law. It sounds like they have been through a lot lately, and I should be there to at least try and take some weight off their shoulders." He got up and turned to Nahla. "I can try my best to protect you from the other Valley residents for the time being if you want to stay with my herd. After that, I'll do my best to try and make you at least a little bit happy again," he said, smiling at her.
(Oh great, Nahla's going to end up being Littlefoot's adopted sister in a minute! :lol)

Nahla smiled and lead the way.
Littlefoot was beginning to wake and as Nahla predicted began gagging.

"Looks like she was right..." Grandma said quietly, watching Littlefoot hopelessly. Her mate wrapped his tail around hers as a sign of reassurance. Surely things could only get better from here on out...
Petrie sprung out from the bushes, ready to announce the finding of the treesweets, but he was halted when he saw Littlefoot gagging instead.
"Guys, hurry!" he shouted to the other dinosaurs, panicking.

Ducky, Petrie and Spike arrived Littlefoot and his Grandparents.
"Grandpa Lockneck!" Ducky shouted," we've the sweet bubbles, yep, yep, yep!"

Littlefoot kept on gagging trying to get rid of the bitter taste.
Nahla stopped pointing to Littlefoot "There" she told Bron and Shorty and backed off "You's go I can't be seen".

Grandpa nodded slightly. "Put them next to him, he'll eat them once he's ready," he told them. He couldn't force these down his neck when the gagging was just going to force them back up again. Now they could only wait until it stopped.
Bron made his way into the Great Valley with the two little ones, hoping nothing else bad was going to happen.

Littlefoot raised his head and saw Bron "Dad!" he said in between the gagging.
Nahla sat down and sighed,seeing the longneck family together bought tears to her eyes as she remembered her own.

"Hey Ducky, Petrie and Spike!" Shorty welcomed Littlefoots friends, "it's cool to meet you again, yeah!"
-
Nahla sobbed feeling alone and left out,she got up and started walking away.

"Littlefoot!" Bron cried, running towards his son. "Oh, Littlefoot, I was so worried about you..."
"Bron..." said Grandpa. "What are you doing here?"
"I had a bad feeling," Bron replied. "I got into the valley and found Nahla, who told me everything." Grandpa nodded as Bron went back to tending to his son.
"Speaking of Nahla, where is she?" Grandma asked.
"Close," Bron answered. "She's too scared to come in case she's seen."
"Okay," Grandma replied, slightly relieved. "I wanted to talk to her. She deserves at least our thanks."

Littlefoot sighed "I don't think she feels safe here" she glanced around and saw his crush walking off "Hey Nahla! Come back!" he tried geting up to go after ger,even though he was still weak.

"I'll go and get her," said Bron, getting up a walking after her. He knew well that it wasn't a good idea for her to go wandering around the Great Valley alone, in case a different resident saw her.

"Hey Shorty!" Ducky welcomed him, "my brother Spike and I are happy to see you again, yep, yep, yep!"
Spike went to Shorty and licked him, that's his way of welcoming friends.

Nahla heard the steps behind her,she smiled at Bron "What you doing here?".
-
"Making sure you're okay," Bron smiled back. He turned back and looked at his family behind him. "I think Littlefoot's grandma wants to talk to you."
"Hi Shorty!" Petrie greeted as he flew on top of Shorty's head, only to fall off again. "You still no have flat head like Littlefoot. Me keep forgetting that."

Nahla sighed "Ok then" she started walking back.
When Littlefoot saw Nahla returning he smiled,he quickly grabbed some nearby flowers and made a bouquet.

"Thank you!" Shorty laughed," how things are going? And where is Cera?

Nahla arrived back.
Littlefoot took a deep breath and stepped towards Nahla "Umm..Nahla...uhh here" he saud giving her the flowers with his tail.
Nahla smiled "Awww thanks Littlefoot" she licked him on the cheek as she accepted her gift.

"She... she not here," Petrie answered. "She... not like Nahla very much." He said the second sentence so fast it was hard to make out the words.
Grandma Longneck saw Nahla returning with Bron and smiled. Her smile turned into a look of confusion and a little bit of concern when she saw what Littlefoot and Nahla were doing.
"Even I didn't think of that when we were that young," Grandpa joked, obviously noticing the same thing. Grandma shot him a friendly glare before chuckling.

Nahla giggled as Littlefoot whispered saomething to her then remembered she turned to Grandma "You wanted to speak with me?"
-
"Well... yes," Grandma said. "Thank you for saving Littlefoot. I was scared we were going to lose him... And I also feel like we owe you an apology. I feel we turned our back on you earlier. If you want to stay, you're more than welcome to."

"No porblems Mrs. Longneck I'll save Littlefoot anyday" she looked down remembering Brons offer to join his herd "I'll think about staying".
Littlefoot looked saddened at the thought of her leaving,he sat down next her.
Nahla sighed and put her head against his side laying down. It looked quite cute,if Nahla was covered in dried blood.

"Why?" Shorty asked, "Is it because she's a Shadowlander? I even don't know, what the Shadowland is?
What are Littlefoot and Nahla doing by the way?" he chuckled.

Nahla's blue eyes sparkled as she was happy for the first time in ages.
Littlefoot smiled and turned to Shorty "You met Nahla right? She my girlfriend".
Naha's face lighted when Littlefoot said that.
(Let the rivalry begin)

Grandma was struggling to see Nahla in such a mess, and eventually had to start licking her clean again.
"That's better," she said. Of course Nahla's injuries were still clearly there, but she already looked a lot better. She lay down next to her mate, ready for a short nap. She still needed to recover some of her energy that was drained by the illness, after all.
Petrie decided to answer the question. "Me not too sure about Shadowlanders, and me no know what they doing..."

Littlefoot yawned and laid down next to Nahla.
Nahla shifted and laid her neck across his back.

"Same here!" Ducky added, "I have no clue!"
"She's your girlfriend?!?" Shorty shouted. He didn't want to believe, that the prettyest longneck girl is already taken by his step-brother. "I'll talk to you later, you bastard!" he thought.

Nahla turned her head "You ok Shorty?" she asked sweetly.
Unknown to the group Cera was watching them and worse her father was with her.

Bron immediately spotted what the problem was with Shorty. He was prone to jealousy sometimes, and now was one of those times. He gave his parents-in-law a concerned look, who had also noticed and their faces showed him that they were slightly worried too.
"Anyway..." said Bron, trying to ease the tension slightly. "Who wants something to eat?"

"I do-" she managed to say before a three-horn umped out at her.
Cera pinned Nahla to the ground as her father walked out.
Mr Threehorn looked down at the stuggling longneck and laughed.
Littlefoot knocked Cera off his girlfriend,only to be knocked out by the three-horn with a hit in the had.
Nahla backed up terrified.

"Ehm... yeah! I am! It's just....... What the Heck!" He was too terrified to help anyone. He just stood where he was like a stone.

Nahla screamed as the grey Threehorn placed his large foot on her tail,she gulped "Get off me!"

"Stop fighting!" Ducky told them, but it was senceless. Noone listened to the little swimmer.
Spike rammed his head into the ground.

Littlefoot awoke and walked towards them "Mr Threehorn leave her alone please,she is good your being the evil one,if anything you and Hades are acting the same,leave Nahla alone"

"Oh no..." Bron breathed, running towards Nahla quickly, the older longnecks following him.
"Now what are you doing?!" Grandpa shouted at Mr Threehorn. He was already getting tired of this now.

Mr Threehorn stared at them "You bought the Shadowlander back? Why?" he rasied his foot to stomp letting go on Nahla's tail.
Nahla took the chance and bolted.
Littlefoot followed her.

"Let's follow Littlefoot!" Ducky suggested, "Come on, Spikie! You too, Petrie and Shorty!"

Littlefoot sloed down to walk besides Shorty "What do you think of Nahla?" he asked looking into the distance not letting her out of his sights.

Bron stepped in. "I offered to take her with my herd," he said calmly. "Of course, I have to stay here for a few days to catch up with and look after my son, but I'll be off in a few days, maybe longer." He hesitated for a few moments. "What do you have against her, anyway? She's just a child who was born into a world of hate and cruelty. The only thing giving her happiness was her mother and siblings, and they were all killed in front of her. Think about it, how would you feel?"

"She is Hades daughter" he used the same excuse again.

"You ask what I think about Nahla?" Shorty answered," ok, I'll tell you...
I LOVE her!!! She's the prettyest girl I've ever seen!"

"Exactly," Bron used his excuse to give his reason. "She was born into a world of cruelty and hate, but she got a taste of love and happiness from her mother. If she was given a bit more of that... anyone can change, Mr Threehorn. She has already helped a lot of people, and she has every right to live a normal life, but you lot are stopping her."

Littlefoot looked down "Oh..you love her?" he looked up "But you can't,she is my girlfriend".
Nahla stopped and started walking back to the boy longnecks to see what they wree talking about,unknowing it was her.

Mr Threehorn did not have an answer to that.

"I wonder, what they're talking about!?" Ducky told Petrie and Spike.

Nahla giggled shaking her head.
Littlefoot walked forward to nuzzle her,mainly just rubbing it in Shorty's face "Wanna go play a game Nahla?" he asked.
Nahla smiled "Sure!" yes at last she was happy.
Tria walked to where Mr Threehorn was talking to the longnecks "Topsy just leave the child alone" she demaned then turned to the longnecks "I saw Littlefoot and Shorty aguring over Nahla" she told them.

"Can I play with you?" Shorty asked. He sended Littlefoot a murderous glance. He'd really like to attack Littlefoot.

"Sure!" Nahla said before Littlefoot could say anything,she giggled and ran off "We can play hide and seek Littlefoot your it!" giggling she ran off towards the tall grass.

Petrie flew away from Littlefoot, but he soon joined Ducky and Spike, obviously concerned.
"You think there something going on with Littlefoot and Shorty?" he asked them quietly as they hid in the tall grass.

"Oh yes!" Ducky answered to Petrie, "haven't you seen Shortys glance? He seems to argue with Littlefoot, yep, yep, yep!"
Spike nodded, while eating some of the grass.

Littlefoot glanced at Shorty walking past him to go after Nahla/

"Oh... me no like this," Petrie complained.
Meanwhile, Bron decided to go and supervise the kids for a while, just to make sure nothing bad happened to anyone. Or in case Littlefoot and Shorty got into a fight.

Littlefoot reached the tall grass,he stuck up behind Nahla and jumped "Found you!" he laughed.
Nahla giggled and pushed him off "Now for your prize".
Littlefoot seemed confused "Prize?".
Nahla nodded and ksised him unaware that the rest of the gang and Bron were wacthing.

When Shorty saw Nahla kissing Littlefoot, he felt so angry that he was near to explode. He swear to himself that he'll punish Littlefoot. The thought of that made him cool. He'd get his chance and then Littlefoot would regret to take Nahla away from him...
"What are they doing?!?" Ducky wondered.

Nahla went off to get Littlefoot the sweet bubbles that he still had not eaten.

Shorty's mood changed to euphoric, when he saw them walking in different directions.
He smiled like evil and followed Littlefoot.

Littlefoot was in a cave ,he looked around and grinned seeing shiny stones. He started looking for the best one for Nahla. Unaware that his step-brother was behind him.

Shorty watched his step-brother. It seems like he's collecting something for Nahla.
Now he had him there, where he wanted him to be. He can't ran away and he's still very weak due to the Shadowland Curse.
"We need to talk!" he said to Littlefoot.

Littlefoot looked up holding a diamond "Whats up Shorty?" he took a look at his step-brothers face and took a step back.

"WHY HAVE YOU TAKEN AWAY NAHLA FROM ME?!?!?" Shorty shouted completely raged-
"She likely won't love me because she's with you already...so I need someone to take out my frustration!" Shorty made a step towards Littlefoot and sat on a gloomy smile. " And that would be you!"

Littlefoot stepped back ore till he was pressed against the wall "Please don't Shorty...I'm your brother" he shook terrified. He looked down and saw a stone he used his tail to flick it at Shorty's head.

Shorty screamed out of pain.Blood oozed from the wound. But he didn't mind. He rammed his whole body against Littlefoot, who heavily crashed against the cave wall.
Ducky heard someone screaming. "Who was that?" she asked.

Littlefoot was still weak and not up to a fight,he tried to crawl around Shorty and escape.

Shorty let him run away. The wound wasn't deep and didn't bleed anymore.
"You forgot your present, looser!" he provoked him. "I'll give it her as a present!"

Bron had followed Shorty, and was shocked by what he saw.
"Shorty!" he cried. Running up to his son. "Now, what just happened?"

Littlefoot weak and dazed collapsed just in front of the cave,he struggled to stand but he just couldn't,he just laid there completely vulnerable.

Shorty saw Littlefoot collapsing. He slowly and pleasurably walked towards Littlefoot and insulted him.
" What's up, weakling? Can't you walk? Ohhhhhhh! Should I call your Mummy? Oh wait! She's dead! Hahahaha!" He starts to hit Littlefoot with his tail.

Littlefoot screamed in pain and cried out "HELP!". Sadly they were out of earshot of everyone else,blood started pouring from his new wounds trying to break away from his crazed brother.

Shorty laughted at Littlefoot. It felt sooo good to let out all the frustration.
He went on hurting Littlefoot by hitting him with his tail, biting him and kicking him again and again and again...

Littlefoot struglged for breath,he was covered in blood. In was the mirror image of Nahla after Hades attacked her. His eyes slipped closed and he fell into a deep coma.He laid motionless in a pool of blood.
(Littlefot can stay in coma for while,give Shorty and the others the spotlight)

Bron had gone to look for the kids, as Grandma was concerned for Littlefoot and Shorty when she noticed that they both had feelings for Nahla.
"Littlefoot! Shorty!" he called, hoping that they would find at least one of them. Actually, he would have preferred it if he found them separately. Eventually, he found the cave, and was horrified by what he saw there.

Shorty heard his adoptive father calling him. He looked at Littlefoot, lying in his own blood and looking very death to him. He realized what he had done so he ran away. He hided in high grass and began to cry. He felt very bad. "What have I done?!" he whispered to himself.

"Littlefoot!" his father cried. "Oh no... Littlefoot..." He was completely devastated when he saw his son's motionless body. How was he going to tell his grandparents this?

Nahla unaware began waking to where Littlefoot was meant to be waitng for her with the sweet bubbles a huge smile on her face.

Bron lay down next to his son, licking him clean, only hoping that he would be okay. He wondered who had done this to him. He looked over to the high grass, thinking he heard something, but he shrugged it off and went back to tending to his son.
"Bron?" came a shaky voice. Bron looked over at Grandma, who was looking in horror at the injured one next to him. "What happened?"

Nahla arrived and stared in horror 'Littlefoot?!!" she screamed dropping the sweet bubbles and sprinting towards him.

"It looks like he was attacked by something... or someone," Bron concluded.
"Someone?" Grandma questioned. "Who in the valley would attack Littlefoot?" Bron didn't reply, instead looking down at the ground, wishing he was wrong with his suspicions...

Nahla nudged Littlefoot's body,she laid her head on his chest and sighed "He is alive..but he appears to be in some sort of a coma" she stood up and stepped away walking towards the wall grass,she looked very pretty she stopped
"Ohhh Shorty" she called sweetlu batting her eyes.

Shorty saw them standing around Littlefoot. His head was flooded with thoughts. Some of them were:
"Why have I done this!?"

He never felt that bad! He wished he could turn back the time knowing he couldn't.
Then he saw Nahla walking towards him...
"I'm dead!" he sigh.

He tried to be excited about the others standing in the cave: "Hey! What are they doing there anyway?"
Meanwhile Ducky, Petrie and Spike arrived at the cave...

Bron just shook his head and sighed. He felt as if he had failed his son. "We have to get back to the resting place," he said. Grandma just nodded. "Can you take him back? I need to find Shorty."
"Of course," she replied. Bron picked up Littlefoot gently and put him on his grandmother's back, and she slowly walked back towards the resting place.

Nahla tilted her head "What makes you depressed?" she asked sitting next to him rubbing his head with hers "You can tell me".

Shorty's mood began to increase when the beautiful girl cuddled with him. He argued whether to tell Nahla, what he really thinks or lieing to her.
He suddenly saw Bron. He'd find them soon, if they didn't escape quickly.
"Hey Nahla! *gave her a smile* Let's talk about that later, let's move, I see Bron coming!"

"Shorty!" Bron called, walking around, trying to find his other son. He needed to find out where he was. He needed to talk to him. Tears were forming in his eyes as he carried on, the images of Littlefoot, injured and motionless, flashing through his mind.

" You're not his adopted son, Nahla....!" Shorty said. "Anyway I want to tell you something!" he winked at his big love. "It's better, when we're alone! Only you and I!!!"

After a few minutes of walk they found the hide, where the Gang debated about their parents in LBT 2.
"I suppose noone can find us here!" he said.
"Ok, you asked me why I'm depressed! One reason is Bron! He get on my nerves the whole time!
The more important thing is, that I... ehm...that I really like you - you're very beautiful - but you're already with Littlefoot... That really depresses me to be honest.
He looked into Nahlas blue eyes and realized that he'll get his chance. His heart made a somersault.

They heard the scream. "Was that Nahla?!" Ducky wondered.
Spike ran to where the scream came from. "Wait, Spikie!" Ducky called.

Nahla sobbed "I had a bad sleep story that everyone in the valley tried to kill mre but I got away I ran and bumped into my dad,he looked down at me and laugh. I saw his foot coming down and my neck snapped" she sobbed harder "And the others were laughing...LAUGHING" she stared at him "Including you".

Bron had heard the scream, and ran to where he had heard it, surely things couldn't get any worse. This was by far the worst day of his life, but he couldn't compare it to that of Grandma and Grandpa Longneck. They had been through a lot in their long lives, but this must have also given them a lot of grief too. From what he had heard so far, the last few days, and few hours before he had arrived, had been much, much worse.
Petrie hastily followed the others, hoping that whoever screamed was okay.
"Why we having such bad day?" he wondered.

Littlefoot stll have not shown movement,he looked like someone purposely tried to kill him. No one would guess it was his brother and that his girlfriend been stolen.

"What in the world happened?!" Grandpa exclaimed as his mate brought in an unmoving Littlefoot, weeping slightly.
"I don't know," she answered quietly. "He was attacked by someone, by the looks of things."
"But who would want to attack Littlefoot?" Grandpa asked, confused and worried. Grandma just shook her head in reply, implying that she didn't know. She picked up Littlefoot and gently placed him on the ground.
"How could things get any worse...?" she sighed, tears falling from her eyes.
"Nahla, Shorty! There you are," said Bron, relieved when he found the two kids. He looked at Shorty's head, and the injury there. "Shorty... what happened to you?"

Shorty comforted her until she stopped sobbing.
"Hey! Don't worry! That's just a sleepstory! They normally aren't true, your father is far away in his hell land or whatever it's called and I wouldn't make fun of you!" He nodded and kissed her fondly on her cheek.
"The scream came from the hide, where we saw the Egg Stealers a long time ago!" Ducky guessed.
Spike seemed to remember this, he made a sound which could be understood as a "yes" with much imagination only.
"Let's search there!" she suggested.

Things were gonna get worse,on The Great wall stood another longneck child.
He was jet black with silver markings,his eyes glowed red as he stepped down into the valley. Ares walked untill he saw Grandma and Grandpa,as all Shadowlanders he was very thin and he covered himself in fake cuts "Umm hello?" he said in mock shyness.

"I stumbled over a stone and hurted my head!" he lied. His expression was petrified. He was a excelent lier, but Bron knew him very well, so he often expose his lies.
"I thought Nahla was in love with Littlefoot!" Ducky wondered.

Nahla sighed "I am....in a way" she looked down "Uh oh" she muttered suddenly.

"Ha," said Bron. "Are you sure that's what really happened? With both you and Littlefoot hurt I'm afraid that doesn't convince me." Of course he knew Shorty well, and knew very well that he was lying, but he had hoped his suspicions would have been proven wrong. Now he was worried, and looked down at Nahla. Had she been the accidental cause of a fight between the two brothers? He would only find out now if Shorty told him the truth.

"Hmm? Oh my... hello," said Grandpa, barely noticing the young longneck. He was shocked to see another little one, again looking dangerously underweight and scathed. "Who might you be?"
His mate didn't actually say anything, but did look at the longneck sympathetically, before putting her head right up next to Grandpa's.
"He disturbingly reminds me of Hades a lot," she whispered, too quietly for the little one in front of her to hear. "I'm going to be careful with this one after what's happened. I doubt he'll be up to much good."
(Grandma sees through all. :lol)

"I'm Ares I just fled the Shadowlands,my father Hades is just so so so cruel" he said placing his tail on his head in a dramatic way. However anyone smart enough could tell it was a fake.

Shorty acted like he didn't know of Littlefoot being hurted.
"What!? He's hurt? Why you didn't tell me that earlier? Why are you thinking that I hurted him?

Cera stepped up "Yup he's in a coma".
Nahla looked paincked about what she saw "Umm I gotta do somehting" she sprinted towards to the longneck nest to try and stop Ares.

Ares heard someone behind him,forgetting he was meant to fake he raged at Nahla "You! You! How could you! Betray the Shadowlands,betray DAD!" he hit her in the face "You don't deserve to live" he stood over his sister "Say nighty night baby sister" he laughed and raised his foot.

"Uh... I didn't say anything about you doing it, Shorty," said Bron. Surely he had to get an answer now.

She knew it. No such act could fool the elderly longnecks, especially after putting up with several kids in their lifetime. Grandpa quickly intervened, using his tail to gently shove the black and silver longneck out of the way.
"What do you want from us?" Grandma demanded, stepping in between the two. "What are you doing here?"

"NAHLA!!!" Shorty screamed. He tried to follow his big love but Bron stood in his way.

Nahla stood up and hid under Grandpa shaking "Go away Ares! I don't want anything more to do with the Shadowlands OR that loser that is our father. You should hear about everything he has done!"

"Shorty," Bron said sternly, blocking Shorty's way with his foot. "What happened?" he was starting to get impatient now.

"Get out of my way old hag" Ares snapped to Grandma "I need to kill pinky over there for what she has done,dis honored her family"

Grandma just ignored the comment and stood her ground, glaring at Ares.
"No one's dying today," she said firmly. "Now, either change your mind, or leave."

"Let me follow her, Bron!" Shorty shouted. "I haven't anything to do with Littlefoot being hurted, ok!!?"

Ares rolled his eyes "Your kidding me right?" he pointed to Nahla "She a Shadowlander too! She a child of Hades too! What makes her so special!" he spotted something and smiled,he walked up to the still motionless Littlefoot and raised his foot over his neck "Hand over Nahla or freakshow here dies".

Bron just looked at Shorty, completely unconvinced. "You're coming with me back to Littlefoot's grandparents." He didn't allow Shorty to question it, instead just picking him up and quickly heading towards where the older longnecks were with his son.

Grandma and Grandpa both hesitated, their eyes shifting from Nahla to their grandson and back again. Ares was too far away for their tails to shift him away, and right now they felt quite hopeless. They just hoped someone would interfere.

Nahla panicked "I'll go with you!" she sobbed,she'll rather suffer then see any of her new friends be hurt or killed.

Ares smiled "very good" he grabbed Nahla but her tail and began to drag her away,they bumped into Shorty and Bron.

Shorty didn't protest. He knew his father know it was him. He though, how to say it best.
"Ducky, Spike! It's time to come home!" a voice said. It was Mama Swimmer.
"We come, Mommy!" Ducky answered. "Come on Spikie!"
Spiked followed her.

Nahla looked at Shorty as her brother drug her off "Shorty I'm doing this for you,don't come after me'

"Whoa, whoa!" said Bron. "Who are you?" he asked Ares, blocking his path with his foot again. Grandpa soon caught up to the group, leaving as soon as the young ones were out of sight.
"Nahla, why are you doing this?" he asked her. "Things don't always have to be this way for you."

"Nahla!" Shorty entreated her," Littlefoot's relatives *pointed at the adult Longnecks* will protect us!
PLEASE STAY!!!" he sobbed.

"I'm Ares son of the mighty Hades,I'm here to bring back my sister and dad will see to it that she is punished" Ares glared at the other longnecks.

"I have to go or they will just keep returning" she sobbed "I'm sorry,dad is most likely gonna kill me,but I don't care it means the suffering wil be over.
(Curse you Hades/Ares she was soo happy!)

"Well, that's nice," Bron said to Ares sarcastically. "I don't like your attitude." He set Shorty down, realising that he couldn't speak too clearly with him in his mouth.
"Nahla, you stay right where you are," Grandpa instructed. "There is always another way out than death, you know."
A short distance away, Petrie noticed what was going on, and was concerned.
"Hmm... Me wonder if me should warn grown-ups?" he asked himself. He was prepared to take off, but had second thoughts. "But... what if they go after Nahla instead? That not good!" He stayed where he was for the time being, debating with himself.

"If you really love me, STAY!" he shouted.

Ares rolled his eyes "She is coming with me!" he stared at Shorty "Aww Nahla is this your boyfriend?" he laughed.

Nahla did not answer she just sobbed.
Littlefoot was finally beginning to show movemebt though very little it was now there.

"Shorty had enough of this stranger... He jumped from Bron's head and landed exactly on Ares' back.
"Go away, buffoon! She will stay here!"

He felt the same aggression like when he attacked his brother. He rammed his head against Ares, who still lied there being in pain due to the high jump of Shorty.

Petrie had decided to get a closer look at what was going on, to see if he could help in some way. In the end he decided that he should probably tell his mother that the longneck family was in trouble, he knew she's understand.

Nahla begged Shorty "Shorty dont please,you'll get hurt and I can't stand that thought" tears poured down her face.
(it was fun,though the farm now has a theme song which they play over and over and it drove me nuts after the 25th time)

Ares shoved Shorty off and stood on Nahla pressing his foot against her throat "Shut...up if he wants to take me on let him,he will have plenty of time to regret when he is dead" he said pressing his foot down in attempt to choke her.

Nahla gasped for air and tired to push her brother off her but he was stronger then her it seemed all she could do was lie there as she was choked to death.

Shorty was panicked. Nahla's head turned blue, he had to do something. QUICK!
He saw a stone as big as Ares head was, lying nearly to him. He got ready to hit the stone against Ares, although he never hit a such big stone before.
He raised his tail and shot the stone exactly against Ares head.

Bron only watched in shock as the event unfolded in front of him. Grandpa had charged at Ares to shift him out of the way, trying not to harm anyone, but it seemed like Shorty had beat him to it.

Nahla's eyes slippes closed as she fell unconscious.

Ares was knocked out instantly soon as the rock made contact,he laid unconscious next to his sister blood pouring from a wound on his head.

Choking sounds came from Nahlas throat as she laid there.
Meanwhile Littlefoot was beginning to come around...finally,

Bron just looked down at Shorty, disappointed.
"You're grounded," he said plainly. Shorty seemed completely out of control since the start of the visit, and Bron was not going to let this behaviour continue. He picked Shorty up again and walked off, leaving the others behind.
Grandpa looked down at Ares, unsure about what to do with him. He didn't want him to die, but he had tried to fool him and his wife. He admitted to himself, he was getting too soft for his own good.

"Littlefoot?" Grandma immediately went up to Littlefoot when she heard him shifting, a weak smile of hope on her face. She just hoped that her grandson would be all right.

Littlefoot weakly opened his eyes "Grandma?" he whsipered,he was clearly in a lot of pain though.

"I'm here, little one," she said, gently rubbing her head against him. She was happy he was alive, especially after the day so far, but she wasn't sure how long this would last. She frowned when her husband came back, carrying an injured black longneck in his mouth.
"What do we do with this one?" he asked her.
"Well first, you can get him as far away from our grandson as possible," she said bluntly, turning around and inspecting Littlefoot for further damage. "I don't think we can handle another Shadowlander." Her mate just nodded and walked off, trying not to be seen with Ares.

Litlefoot sobbed "It hurts".

"I know, I know," his grandma said softly, trying not to burst into tears in front of him. "It'll be all right eventually. I promise."

Litttlefoot still sobbing asked "Wheres Nahla?" he tried to stand only to scream in pain.

"I'm not sure," Grandma answered. "I've been here all of this time looking after you. I'm sure she's okay, though. For now, you need to rest."
At that moment Born returned with Shorty, saying nothing. He merely nodded at Grandma and headed into the trees in front of them, ready for a chat with his adopted son.

Grandpa was out on the outskirts, trying to get to one of the entrances to the valley so that he could put Ares out in the Mysterious Beyond for the time being. There wasn't really much choice any more. He wouldn't be taken in by anyone like Nahla had been, and if he stayed here he would surely be killed.

Littlefoot stared at Shorty terrified "He tried to kill me,he did this!" he shouted pointing towards his brother.
Meanwhile Nahla followed Grandpa "Mr Longneck?' she sighed and looked "I am sorry for all the trouble I am brining'

Grandma stayed silent, watching as Bron's tail disappeared into the trees. She was surprised at what Shorty had done, there was no doubt about that. Bron had also heard the comment, and was now very angry.

Grandpa set Ares down, then faced Nahla.
"None of the events that happened are your fault, Nahla," he said, smiling at her. "You should go back to the resting place, Grandma should be there with Littlefoot. I think he's awake now."

Nahla nodded and turned and ran back arriving back at the resting place and sprinted to Littlefoot "Your ok!" she cheered siting next to him.

Grandma smiled at the two, but she was still very concerned about Shorty. She also had little to no idea of what had happened with Ares, other than the fact that her mate was trying to get rid of him.

Littlefoot kissed Nahla unaware that she is in love with Shorty.
Nahla sighed.
"Whats wrong Nahla?" he asked concerned "Did anyone hurt you?".
Nahla shook her heaDd "No it just..I'm in love with Shorty now..".
A heratbroken look swept across Littlefoot's face.

Littlefoot's heart wasn't the only one torn to shreds. Grandma watched painfully as she saw the look on her grandson's face, and turned away, pretending to get some treestars, even though she wasn't hungry.

The wailing started,Littlefoot could not believe it! First Shorty tried to kill him then he stole his girlfriend "Go" he shouted at Nahla.
Nahla backed off "What?".
"GO!" Littlefoot screamed not wanting to see her anymore.
(They get back together after a while no worry)

Bron even wanted to start punishing his (adopted) son for what he's done, but Shorty had other plans
" Don't try to punish me! I hate you!" he screams at him and flew into the bushes, just wanting to be alone.
Ducky and Spike even had breakfast. They're walking to the Longneck's resting place to visit their good friend Littlefoot. Suddenly Nahla came towards them, strongly crying.
"Why is she always crying?" Ducky whispered to Spike. Spike answered his own way. "Oh, you really think that, Spikie?" she answered. Spike nodded. "Ok... then let's follow her!"
They followed Nahla. "Nahlaaaaaaa! Wait!" she called her, but Nahla didn't mind them.

Nahla kept running blinded by tears,she was headed towards the cliff. Her best friend just told her to go and never come back it broke her heart.

Shorty finally found a place to hide from Bron and the others, not knowing it's Cera's hide, when she had to think about things. It lied in a small wood in a canyon at the edge of the Great Valley.
Shorty started to cry. He has done everything wrong! Noone would like him anymore! Littlefoot and Nahla would hate him due to his brutal attack.
Meanwhile Ducky and Spike were trying not to loose Nahla since she's running as if a sharptooth would chase her.

Cera growled "What are you doing here!" she growled at Shorty.
Nahla reached the cliff and plopped down at the edge and cried her heart out,she messed up majorly.

"Uhmm... I'm thinking! Let me alone, Cera!" he answered Ceras question.
Ducky and Spike finally reached Nahla gasping for air.
"Hey! What's wrong Nahla?" Ducky asked in a comforting voice. "You seem to be sad, yep,yep,yep!"
Spike ate some treestars.

Cera shoved him "This is my spot dome head GET LOST!"
Nahla didn't raise her head "It's Littlefoot...he hates me HE HATES ME he wants me to die" she said in between sobs.

Meanwhile Ares awoke,he had a killer headache. Groaning he began his trek back to the Shadowlands shouting over his shoulder "THIS ISN'T OVER NAHLA! I'LL BE BACK!" he vowed.

Grandma lay down next to her grandson, gently nuzzling him.
"I'm sorry, little one," she said softly. Bron came back through the trees, and even though he claimed to be a not-so-emotional longneck, he looked as though he was about to cry.
(Oh don't mind me I'm just borrowing my cousins phone. Seriously, she's five and has a better phone than me. <_<)

Hades turned around when he heard his son expecting to see Nahla. Anger filled his face when she wasn't there "WHERE IS SHE!" he shouted across the Shadowlands.

" Noooo! Littlefoot wouldn't want anyone to die, he's good, not bad, yep, yep, yep!
Maybe he has a bad mood due to his injuries?"
Spike told Ducky something.
"Oh, and Spike wants to know, what happened that Littlefoot wantsyou to die, yep, yep, yep!"
Shorty just want to be alone so he left Ceras place and went a few trees deeper into the little wood and started crying there.

Nahla sobbed "Well as you might know,me and Littlefoot were together as a couple. Then he went into a coma,seeking comfont I started hanging around Shorty and starting falling in love with him" she paused "But I still loved Littlefoot more,when I went to tell him that I loved Shorty but I still wanted to stay with him he didn't let me finish. He said I should go away and....die" she threw herself the ground sobbing.

Ares gulped "She's not here" he said taking a few steps back.

"ohh, poor Nahla!" Ducky tried to confort her," he didn't meant that you should die, no, no, no. He was just angry! Let him calm down and then talk to him again, ok?"

Nahla nodded still sobbing.
Littlefoot was starting to calm down,he was starting to think he was too hard on Nahla even more when she was proven to be suicidal,he had to find her. He stood up and slowly starting limping to find the pink girl.
Hades rolled his eyes "I CAN SEE SHE IS NOT HERE YOU LITTLE WHELP!" he shouted slapping his son with his tail.

Spike licked Nahla.
"Hehehehehe! Spike likes you Nahla!" Ducky laughed.
Then Spike grumbeled something in Duckys ear.
"Spike thinks, that you should talk to Shorty first! You should tell him, that you love Littlefoot more than him!
Spike's wise, he is, he is!"

Nahla nodded again and stood up,her eyes red from crying so much. She looked at Ducky and Spike "Can you walk with me? I'm unwelcomed with the adults here"

Spike nodded.
"Let's search for Shorty, yep, yep, yep!"

Hades stomped his foot "GET OUT OF MY SIGHT!".
Littlefoot kept walking,however not really looking where was going crashed right into Shorty,Littlefoot cried out when he landed on his already badly injured leg. Fear filled his face when he saw his brother.

Shorty was surprised. Littlefoot still being weak lied on the ground, his face full of fear.
"What do you do here!?" he whispered. He still had tears in his eyes.

Littlefoot curled up "Looking for Nahla" he whispered in fear. He was shaking and he did not take an eye off Shorty. Tears of pain and fear in his eyes. He shifted only to scream out in pain like he was being murdered.

" So why are you looking for Nahla?" Shorty asked with an evil smile. "She's with me now! She don't want to see you anymore!"

"I need to stop her..I told her to go kill herself," Littlefoot shuffled back knowing his brother would go into rage.

" Stop! You're going nowhere! I'll look for her! She's my girlfrend! Remember?
Ohhh! Now little weak Littlefoot is calling for his mother! *laughed* Oh wait! She's Dead! Hahahahahhahahhahahahhahahahah!"

Littlefoot sobbed,he really did want his mother "Mummy" he screamed completely breaking down,tears flooded from his eyes. He laid there letting out heart broken wails. Much to Shorty's amusement.

" hahahaha! Who needs a crying baby? Mother! MOTHER! Shorty's sooooooo mean! Nahla doesn't deserve you! She needs a strong cool boyfriend! Someone Like me! Sweet Nahla...!"

"Shorty?" a gentle voice asked as Nahla walked forward "Whats going on?"

"ehm... hi Nahla, sweetheart!" he stuttered completely surprised. " Ehm... Littlefoot trapped and now his leg is hurting like hell, you know he was attacked yesterday? Anyway I luckily found him."
Shorty acted like he would look after the injured leg. "You'll cooperate!" he whispered so quiet that Nahla can't hera it," if not, you'll wish you weren't born!"
"I don't believe him, Spikie, no, no, no!" Ducky told her little brother. Spike licked her.

Littlefoot choked back a sob "HE'S THE ONE THAT ATTACKED ME! NAHLA HE TRIED TO KILL ME SO HE CAN BE YOUR BOYFRIEND INSTEAD OF ME!" he screamed so loud the whole valley could hear.
Nahla looked at Shorty disgusted "Is this true?".

"Of course not, Nahla!" Shorty lied like hell, "His brain must be damaged due to his injuries so he can't think clearly!"

Littlefoot screamed out hysterical "HE DID THIS HE DID THIS!" he pounded at the ground "HE WANTS TO KILL ME! NAHLA HE JUST WANTS YOU BECAUSE YOUR PRETTY!".
Nahla looked at the hysterical Littlefoot and back at Shorty not sure who to believe.

"We believe you, yep, yep, yep!" Ducky said to Littlefoot. Spike nodded in agreement.
"Littlefoot doesn't know, what he say!" Shorty reasoned. "Nahla... you're the most beautiful girl I've ever seen...! I LOVE YOUUUU! Littlefoot's weak, babyish and stupid. I'm strong, I can defend you!"

Nahla groaned stressed out "Shorty tell me the turth" she said nuzzling him trying to squeeze it out of him.

" I'm telling you the truth!" Shorty shouted rudely.

Nahla rolled her eyes and stood up shoving Shorty "You know what? WE ARE DONE" she said slapping Shorty in the face "I want a boyfriend who is kind,honest and true like Littlefoot" she walked over to Littlefoot 'Littlefoot I am sorry..I love you".
Littlefoot seemed shocked but smiled and then the two kissed.

"Oh for goodness' sake," Grandma mumbled, as she and Bron watched the kids from behind the trees.
"I swear, when I get to Shorty, he is going to go through some serious punishment," Bron growled, especially upset that Shorty was taunting Littlefoot about his mother.
"There's no need for that talk," Grandma gently scolded him. "Although I too, am fairly upset with Shorty." She looked over and glanced at Bron, who just nodded. It was time to intervene.

Nahla rubbed Littlefoot with her head unaware of the approching adults.

The two adult longnecks stepped forward, looming over the children. Bron looked angrily at Shorty, while Grandma just looked down at Nahla and Littlefoot. She then looked up to the sky, noticing that it was turning orange.
"All right, children," she said. "I think it's time you all went back to the nest."

Littlefoot nodded and tried to stand only to fall again,he was severely injured.
Nahla used her head to soften his fall,she looked at the injured leg "It's broken,he can't stand on it" she said then gave Shorty are mudrerous glare for hurting her love.

Bron said nothing when he noticed Nahla's glare. Instead he just picked Shorty up and walked off without another word. He would have to sleep away from his son and parents-in-law tonight, and probably head off again the next day.
"We'll get your grandpa to check that out," Grandma said, carefully picking up her grandson. "Are you coming, Nahla?"

Nahla nodded and glared after Bron and Shorty "Yes....." she'll pay a little visit to Shorty later...

Grandpa Longneck was already back at the resting place, and was shocked to see Littlefoot in a seemingly worse state than usual.
"Now what happened?" he asked. Grandma put Littlefoot down, careful to make sure that his broken leg didn't touch anything.
"Littlefoot broke his leg," Grandma explained. Grandpa looked at Littlefoot carefully, then faced his grandson.
"You'll have to stay and rest for a few weeks," he told Littlefoot. "You won't be able to go anywhere with that." Of course he knew Littlefoot would be disappointed, but it was a good thing he was still young. If he was fully grown, he would have been doomed.

Littlefoot nodded still shaking "Mother...wheres mother?" he asked his Grandparents "I want mother".
Nahla closed her eyes "Shock" she declared "I know a plant that will ease some of the pain,keep him calm and don't let him move" she ran off.

The old longnecks sighed, trying their best not to look to upset.
"She's always there, Littlefoot," his grandpa said. "We can't see her, but she's there." His grandma just nuzzled him gently, but there were clear tears in her eyes.
Meanwhile, Bron found another isolated placed to rest, but didn't let Shorty go.

"Mother" Littlefoot called he didn't even seem to hear his Grandparents,thinking she would come out 'Mother" he cried, Suddenly he tried to stand to rush to what he thinks he saw "Mother!".

"Let me alone, "father" !" Shorty warned Bron.

Nahla walked and found the plant she was looking for,a bright blue flower. She picked a few up and sprinted back to the resting place.

"No," Bron said sternly. "Who do you think you are, and what has gotten into you? We're leaving tomorrow, and there is no way I'm bringing you here again if you carry on with that kind of behaviour!"
"Littlefoot, no!" his grandpa cried as he grabbed his grandson and lifted him off the ground. They knew he was in shock, but they couldn't let him put pressure on that leg.

Nahla arrived back and dropped the flowers "He must eat these" she said.
Littlefoot sobbed,it seemed he could not stop shaking. He kept glacing around as if he was seeing is Shorty was there and about to attack.

Grandpa gently set him down again, while Grandma shoved the flowers next to his face.
"Eat them, little one," she said. "They'll make you feel better."

Shorty rammed his whole body against Littlefoots broken leg. Then he quickly ran away shouting:
" I HATE YOU ALL!!!"

Littlefoot screamed he leg now completely shattered.
Nahla jumped to her feet ready to beat SHorty into tomororw.

"YOU GET BACK HERE!" Bron yelled, chasing after him.
"Littlefoot!" Grandma cried. Both of his grandparents tended to him, knowing that he was going through such pain, but there wasn't much one could do with a broken leg.

Littlefoot screamed out in pain.
Nahla groweld and sprinted after Shorty,a mudererous look on her face.

Shorty ran for his life. In fact he wouldn't mind being catched by one of them, but his instinct to survive was stronger. He imagined being chased by a sharptooth( though Nahla and Bron would be worse than a sharptooth) and ran even faster.

"Oh dear," Grandma sighed. "I don't like the look of this."
"I'll go after them," said Grandpa, getting up and leaving Grandma and Littlefoot alone. He had a bad feeling about this.

Nahla tackled Shorty and slapped him in the face her blue eyes full of rage.

Shorty didn't expected the little pink girl to be that fast. She slapped him and trapped him. Shorty couldn't defend Nahla hitting him with powerful beating.

Nahla pounded her old boyfriend letting out her rage, She starting biting..and her teeth hurt..

Shorty was in big pain. He just wanted it to be over and he didn't want to live anymore.
" Yes! KILL ME!" he commanded her.

Bron and Grandpa Longneck arrived at the scene together, shocked by what they saw. The immediately grabbed the two longnecks, Bron picking up Shorty and Grandpa picking up Nahla, to separate them.
"What's going on?" Bron asked.

Shorty didn't want to answer this question... He just hobbled away from them shouting:
" I NEVER EVER WANT TO SEE ANYONE OF YOU AGAIN!!! GOT IT?!? LET ME ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

"I'LL KILL YOU!" she screamed trying to go attack the green longneck but Grandpa had a tight hold on her.

Ares kicked a bone as he stormed through the Shadowlands. He would kill Nahla he vowed to himself. He would make her suffer for making a fool of him. Ares let out a manic laugh and sang "The sound of Nahla's dying gasp" he jumped from rock to rock "Her boyfriend squealing in my grasp,those Grandparents mournful cries" he raised his head and screamed out "My flag will fly against a blood red sky THE GREAT VALLEY WILL DIE" his eyes glowed and he laughed like a monster.

Grandpa and Bron separated for the time being with nothing more than an exchanged nod. The older longneck said nothing as he carried Nahla back to the resting place, while Bron tried tracking down Shorty. He was furious, but he couldn't just let him run off again.

Meanwile Hades was walking to the valley an evil smik on his face.
At the resting place Littlefoot was lying in serve pain,but he sad stopped sobbing instead baring the pain in silence.

Ares was laughing,Nahla will die along with her little boyfriend. The Great Valley will perish. The Shadowlanders will prevail! Nothing will get in his way. His eyes glowing as he stared in the direction of The Great Valley "Enjoy while it lasts Nahla,cause soon it will all be over"

Shorty left the Great Valley and walked just somewhere. He didn't know he walked towards the Shadowlands...
After awhile - it's the end of the night already, the sky began to be brighter - Shorty was really really tired, but he doesn't want to be found by Bron so he walked further into the Unknown...
His attentiveness was very low so he didn't realise that someone is appearing in front of him.
Being half asleep Shorty crashed against the leg of a black Longneck...

Hades lowered head laughing 'Well well wlel what do we have here,Nahla's little boyfriend. My son Ares told me alll about you" he picked up the alone child "Nahla will come and when she does she is DEAD,her blood will run across the ground" Hades told the terrified child then raised his head and laughed loudly as lighting flashed behind him.
(Uh oh...)

Shorty was too tired to scream for help. It wouldn't be heard. It needn't a long time he was asleep, carried by the worst Longneck existing...

Back in the Shadowlands Hades threw Shorty into a dark damp cave,hardy any room and hard stone littered the floor. This was where Hades used to keep Nahla. Dried blood was sprinkled on the floor and walls.

The first thing Shorty was doing after being thrown into the cave was screaming like hell...
He saw the big amount of blood everywhere and understood, what Nahla must have been through.
What had he done to her? What had he done to Littlefoot? What had he done to all the adults?
He had done everything wrong...so wrong that he didn't want to life anymore. If he ever get out of this cave and had a chance to escape the Shadowlands, he'll be decapitated by them, no doubt.
Though only, if the black Longneck wouldn't kill him first...
He only hoped that, whoever will kill him, he'll do it quick and with only little pain...

Hades smiled and walked towards the child "Oh don't worry your rescuers will soon be herfe and you get to watch them die slowly and painfully" he paused with an idea "Well they might come soon when they are done moruning,one of their brats died-Littlefoot I believe" Hades lied as Littlefoot was alive he was just trying to bring Shorty down more.

Bron was calling for Shorty all through the night, but there was no sign of him. Grandma Longneck was up at the crack of dawn, and soon found Bron up on the Great Wall, looking into the Mysterious Beyond. She saw small footmarks leading out of the Great Valley, and her face hardened when she saw what direction they were headed in.
"Please tell me he didn't..." she started, looking at Bron.
"I have a bad feeling he did," he answered, still staring straight ahead of him. "I've failed..." The tracks were headed straight in the direction of the Shadowlands.

"NOOO!!" Shorty shouted. " You're a liar, Littlefoot is still alive... I feel it!!!"

Grandma pretty much forced Bron back to the resting place to eat something, neither willing to tell the kids what they knew. However, Bron couldn't hide the fact that something was very wrong, and Grandma looked worried too.

Hades smirked "Nope he died,you shattered his body he was lying in pain for hours" Hades lied to him again.
Nahla awoke she raised her head that she had on Littlefoot's back and stood up she had a very bad feeling.

Grandpa had also awakened, noticing the look in both Bron's and his mate's faces. He motioned to Grandma to follow him deeper into the trees.
"What's wrong?" he asked her when he was out of earshot of the others.
"Well..." Grandma started, but didn't know how to finish the sentence.
"Come on, dear," he mate sighed. "You know you can't hide anything from me." Grandma smiled weakly, before looking as if she was about to burst into tears.
"It's Shorty," she said quietly. "We think he may be in the Shadowlands."

"The Shadowlands?" a young voice asked as Nahla walked forward "Dad will kill him! Then again he deserves it..." the young girl said rudely flicking a stone with her tail.

"I don't believe you!" Shorty told Hades.
He didn't fear Hades since he didn't care whether to be alive or dead.

"No one deserves that, little one," said Grandma. "Shorty may have made many big mistakes while he was here, and many of us are upset with him, but that doesn't give any of us the right to kill him." She turned back to her mate. "I fear Bron might go after him and also get himself killed."
"Then we have to make sure he doesn't leave our sight for the time being," said Grandpa.
"But... what about Shorty?" Grandma asked.
"It's too late for him now," Grandpa answered plainly, beginning to walk back towards the resting place.

Hades shoved Shorty against the wall "Don't test me boy,are you asking to die?".
Littlefoot shifted stirred from all the noise,he was still in pain though "Why is everyone sad?" he asked confused.
Nahla sat away from the family thinking.

"I don't care, what happens to me!" Shorty replied," if you feel like killing me, do it, but make it short! That'll make things easier!"

Hades shook his head "I can't kill you yet,I need you as bait to lure Nahla into the trap over there" he nodded to a clearing,in the middle of it laid large sharp rocks that could slice someone in half in seconds "When she gets here,SLICE" he laughed.

"Shorty ran away," Bron answered bluntly. He looked close to shedding tears, but hid his head in a bunch of branches, pretending to eat, not wanting his son to see him so upset. Grandpa went up to his grandson, checking his shattered leg.
"How are you feeling?" he asked, although he had already guessed the answer.

"It hurts" Littlefoot startred to wail. Tried to go stand to move over to a more comfy spot,the leg dangled usless.

Ares laughed at Shorty "Wanna watch her die freak?" he taunted.

Hades glared at his son "Make yourself useful,go to the Great Valley and tell them we have...err oh yes! Shorty,tell them we have Shorty. And our asking ransom is that Nahla turns herself over to be executed" he chuckled.

Shorty didn't want to answer that question. He started sobbing and whispered at Hades:
"Make it short and go to hell!"

Ares nodded and glared at Shorty "Don't worry you will get to die soon,you know after you watch your family be slaughtered. All of them,starting with your little weakling of a brother Littlefoot,I'll enjoy cutting him in half!" Ares it seemed as turned completely into his father.

Grandma returned to the resting place a short time later, going up to Bron.
"Any sign?" she asked. He just shook his head.
"If he's gone to Shadowlands..."
"He wouldn't have done that," Grandma said. "He probably realised where he was heading and turned in a different direction."
"The only way to be sure is if I follow those footmarks," Bron replied.
"I was afraid you might say that..." Grandma sighed. She looked over at Littlefoot, gritting her teeth when she saw just how painful it must have been for him. "I think for now, your son might want to spend some time with you." Bron watched as Grandma went over to Grandpa and Littlefoot, and soon followed her lead.

Nahla came running back after sneaking off to go check out the tracks "Dad was here! They were heading towards the valley,they stopped where Shorty's stopped and now dads have turned and gone back!" she shouted panting from running.

"Oh no..." Grandma breathed. She looked over at Bron, whose sadness was soon replaced with determination.
"I have to go and get him back," he said.
"Bron, they'll kill you!" Grandpa argued.
"That's just I risk I'll have to take," he answered. He forgot Littlefoot was there, and he knew that is he went and got killed he would be without either parents. "I'll be fine," he assured them. He looked at his son again, getting more worried. "But... I'll stay until the bright circle is at its highest."

An evil laugh was heard as Ares walked forward "Well you know we have Shorty" he grinned "Our ransom is that Nahla comes back and dies or we will kill Shorty" Ares glanced over at Nahla "You gonna be sliced into little pieces,it'll be sooo much fun!" he giggled putting a foot over his mouth "For me anyway" he turned to the adults "Soo which one do you want more? Shorty or Nahla? Who'se life to you value more?".

Shorty wasn't really afraid of being sliced. "At least it'll be over quickly!" he said more to himself than to Ares.

Nahla just tensed up in fear.
Littlefoot raised his head and stared Ares "Geez your a jerk" he said to him-big mistake.

All at once Ares jumped at the already injured Littlefoot and began to pound him,bite and kick him it was like Shorty's attack all over.
The other Shadowlander longnecks snuck Shorty in a mouthful of green food when Hades left to see Ares out of the valley.

The adults all froze in shock, not knowing what to do. Bron stood protectively in front of Littlefoot in case another unexpected attack happened.
"This kid's insane," Grandma said just so her husband could hear.
"Just like his father," Grandpa commented. He noticed Nahla's fear. "We have to find a way to get both of them out of this."

(What is Littlefoot? a punching bag?)
Littlefoot screamed and try to shove insane child off him.
Nahla gasped and sprinted forward ready to jump into the brutal fight.

Hades shoved his sister and grabbed Littlefoot's head and neck snapping it to the side and droping him. Laughing knowing they would be fooled that his neck was broken when it wasn't. All he did was slammed his head into the ground to knock him out. It was a Shadowlander trick it would give him time to flee "Weakling he shouted,I'll leave yous the mourn now byeee" he said happily sprinting off.

All of the adults stared in horror at Littlefoot's motionless body.
"No... it can't possibly be..." Grandma breathed, before bursting into tears. Grandpa Longneck was shaking. Bron just stared blankly at his son, his mind unable to process exactly what had happened.
Many soon heard the wails coming from the longneck resting place, alerting the whole Great Valley that something was seriously wrong.

Mr Threehorn walked up to the longnecks "Oh what is it now?" he complained "More Shadowlander drama?".

"Why don't you take a look?" Grandma snapped at him, while nuzzling her mate. Bron couldn't believe what had just happened. He had just failed to protect his sons, both of them.

Mr Threehorn's eyes drifted to the childs body "Is he..." he drifted off.
Nahla had ran off and hid,she was terrified of that threehorn,she laid down and sobbed letting out her grief

Ares arrived back in the Shadowlands looking like he just killed someone. Ares stopped and smiled at Shorty "I killed your brother" he said "I broke his neck right in half,you wanted him dead no? Well I did it for you" he said in a very convincing tone.

Littlefoot was breathing but it was impossible to see thanks to another Shadowlander trick. He had grown stone cold and not signs of life could be seen,even though he was,thanks to Ares breathing could not even be seen.
(There now they can go destory Hades and Ares in revenge over Littlefoot's 'death'...and Littlefoot follows after them shortly after shocking even the longneck family..since they thought he was dead. This was Zimmy's idea,the one I told you she wanted to surprise us with)

Ares skipped around Shorty "Littlefoot's dead,Littlefoot's dead!" he stared at Shorty in the eye "And it all YOUR fault...if you did not run away he would still be alive"

(Yes <_<,but they should not leave for a few days..they will most likely be in too much grief. Zimmy will take over a mystery character after Ares goes bye bye)
Hades seem shocked...his son killed someone? All by himself? He laughed now the family HAD to go they would want revenge...this was too perfect.

Bron definitely wanted revenge. Littlefoot's body was moved, laid in a cave to rest, but the entrance wasn't blocked. A day after his "death" Bron suggested the revenge idea.
"It's not a good plan, Bron," Grandpa explained. "It's exactly what Hades wants."
"That kid took both of my sons away from me in a day!" Bron argued. "I can't just let him get away with this! If we don't stop him then who will? I don't care if I die trying, as long as Hades and that kid Ares go down with me!" Bron's grief had driven him almost mad, and he wasn't the only one. Grandma Longneck had refused to talk, sleep and even eat, and Grandpa had to pretty much shove food down her throat. A lot of the valley resisdents also came to give the condolences, but at the moment Grandpa just wanted to be left alone. He was so busy keeping everyone else in control that he didn't have much time to grieve. He was also worrying about what Littlefoot's friends would react if they found out through their parents. In a way, he hoped their parents had told them; he didn't want to be the one to tell them the bad news.

Shorty crept into the rearmost corner of the cave, which is his jail and probably his grave.
He lied there motionless and turned inward, he shed many tears for his brother, whom he wanted to die only a short time ago.
It was all his fault! ALL!

Hades laughed at Short's grief "Awww,whats wrong?" he taunted/
There was no one to console poor Nahla,she laid there motionless the death of her love took all her spirit away. She was like Grandma. Not eating,sleeping or talking

Shorty just ignored the personification of evil...
Ducky and Spike walked to the longneck's resting place. Petrie flew above them.
Spike ate some food here... some food there... and THEN: when he ate a bush, there lied something pink in it. They quickly realized it was Nahla. She was covered in tears, sobbing heavily.
"Nahla, what's up?" Ducky asked timidly.

Nahla looked up "Littlefoot..... she answered not realzing that they didn't know till she saw their confused faces "You did not hear?" she took a deep breath not being able to say the next three word "Littlefoot is dead" she said in a pained heartbroken voice. She plopped her head down again "He died yesterday"

"What!?!" Ducky whispered in a tearful voice, "This must be a bad dream... can someone wake up me?"
Spike made a terrible noice, both had tears in they eyes. They couldn't believe that their best friend was gone for ever...

"GUYS!' a voice cut through the air. Cera sprinted towards her friends. Seeing their tears she figured they been told the same thing "Come on guy,lets go visit Littlefoot's grave" she held a bunch of flowers with her tail. She actaully looked very upset.

Petrie was sobbing heavily, not believing that Littlefoot was dead.
"Me... me guess we go. Me have to see it to believe it," he cried.

Nahla turned muttering something to the others (expect Cera) about being needed back and took off before Cera could spot her.
Cera lead the group to the cave,she poked her head in around the corner and pointed "There" she said pointing to the 'lifeless' body.

They stood around Littlefoot, noone said anything. Ducky had still a very tight hope, that he'd be still alive so she crawled on Littlefoots body to check whether he'd show little sighns of live. He was cold and he didn't breath. The little Swimmer jumped on Spikes back again and said:" He's DEADDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!"
She started to weep bitterly, so did the others.

Cera used her tail to place the flowers by Littlefoot's head "Do guys know how he died?" she asked,she knew her father told her it was a Shadowlander.

"No," Petrie sobbed. "Me only just find out." He was also on Spike's back and hugged Ducky to comfort her. None of them noticed a longneck watching them in the distance, only just managing to get away and mourn for himself.

"That dumb Nahla's brother killed him" Cera told them "Broke his neck,he died instantly no one could of saved him" she cried not taking her eyes off her deceased friend.
Close by to Grandpa,Nahla laid thinking she was alone and let out heartbroken wails "Please...someone..anyone kill me!" she yelled to no one. Everything she loved was now gone,she did not see the reason to live.
Hades stared at Shorty "I thought you wanted Littlefoot dead?" he asked with a cruel smile.

"THIS IS SO SAD!" Ducky cried loudly, Spike agreed with crying.
(To Petrie):" I cannot understand, why he had done this, nope, nope, nopeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!"
Ducky cryed her heart out, she hugged Petrie even closer...
"That was before I know you, you freak!" Shorty shouted at Hades showing him none respect.

Hades slapped the child "Watch it boy or your dead. Would you like that? Join your weakling brother in heaven? Your little crybaby little brother?"

Grandpa heard the cries of the children, and just sighed. He felt as if he had completely failed everyone. Littlefoot, Shorty, Nahla, and his beloved daughter. He had sworn to keep Littlefoot safe and he had failed.

Mr Threehorn walked up the old longneck having heard the cries of his daughter he walked over to find out she and her friends we at Littlefoot's grave. He spotted Grandpa alone and so walked up to him "Nice day isn't it?" he asked knowing it was stupid question

Grandpa just gave him a weird look, and didn't answer straight away. The bright circle shone brightly in the Valley, and there was not a cloud in the sky. It was as if the weather was mocking him by making it seem like a happy day.
"Too nice," he mumbled.

"Why so sad?" the threehorn asked "It a great day,a beuatiful day,what could go wrong on this wonderful day" he was trying to make the longneck laugh by being silly but all he ended up doing was rubbing in Littlefoot's death even more.

Grandpa didn't answer him, instead walking off without another word. He wanted to be left alone for the time being.

Nahla was done. She stood up and starting walking away muttering something.

A flyer heard what she said and took off,hovering in front of Grandpa "I know your mourning but the Shadowlander girl is going on about something about 'ending the pain'".
Cera nodded for the gang to follow her,they left the grave weeping. Cera hoped the ones who did this got what they deserved.

"Oh no..." he sighed, not wanting this to happen again. He had no choice; he had to stop her.
Grandma was still extremely depressed, but had now at least managed to get up. She didn't want to go to the cave, she couldn't bring herself to see Littlefoot's body, and she didn't want to go towards the centre of the Great Valley either, in case she was bombarded by others giving her sympathy. She decided to go more towards the outskirts, in the same direction as Nahla.

Nahla sat down and grabbed a rock,it was the small and sharp kind. Her father used to torture her with them.She used the rock and tested it on her leg to see if it was indeed still sharp,she winced and shook her cut leg.Doing the same to the other leg,hey it reminded her of home.

"Nahla?" Grandma hadn't seen what she was doing, but she thought that she should at least say something. She expected that not much had been said to the little one since what happened to Littlefoot, and she was concerned for Nahla's wellbeing after what she had gone through already.

Nahla looked up the front of her splattered with fresh blood. The look on Nahla's face said it all and it was clear what we was trying to do. Having slashed her front legs Nahla turned to start on her back legs.

Ares could not stop laughing "Littlefoot's gone to heaven,you wanna go to heaven too?" he taunted Shorty.

Shorty kinda grinned.
"You got it, jerk!"
"I miss him!" Ducky cried into Petries chest. She couldn't handle with Littlefoots death. She was extremely affectionate so the death of someone she loved/liked was a very awful thing to her. The little Swimmer felt as if her footing would break away.
"I don't want him to be dead, nope, nope, nope! Why can't he live?"
(poor Ducky :cry )

Hades growled at Shorty "DON'T CARE MY SON THAT AGAIN HE DID NOTHING!"
Cera walked up to Ducky "No one lives forever,we all miss him but he will always be with us in spirit" the death was even effecting Cera's character.

"Oh no you don't," said Grandpa, who had arrived at the scene. He snatched Nahla up, making her drop the rock. He looked over to Grandma, who looked at him and Nahla sadly, and he sighed. "I am not going to be faced with another death. Not for a while yet." He walked back into the trees, his wife following him.
"Me... me gonna miss him so much," Petrie sobbed. He couldn't believe that his best friend was gone forever.

Nahla tried to break away screaming "LET ME GO! LET ME DIE I HATE LIFE!" blood pouring from her leg she tried to hit Grandpa "LET ME GO!".

"No," he said firmly, shrugging off her attempts to hit him. "Look Nahla, death is a thing we all have to face, and answering with more death isn't the answer! I've had times when I've felt like I wanted to die because of someone else's death, and it just isn't worth it."
"He's right, little one," Grandma agreed. "Littlefoot's death has hit us hard, there's no doubt about that, but one day, we'll move on, and you should learn to do that too. I felt just like you did now when..." she flinched at the pain of the thought. "...I had to watch our son get slaughtered by a sharptooth in front of my eyes. It was the most horrible thing for a mother to see, and I honestly felt like jumping off a cliff to end it all. But I realised that I would just make others more upset by doing that. I still had other children to look after, and my husband here." She smiled at Grandpa slightly, but didn't show it too much because of the sad tone.

Ducky can't hold it anymore... The pain broke out of her...
She stopped hugging Petrie and jumped from Spikes back. She landed on her belly and stayed where she was. She screamed out her pain:" LITTLEFOOOOOOT!... LIIITTTLEEFOOT! "... ... ... ...

Nahla just screamed and tried to hit the old longnecks again "BUT YOU'S HAD SOMETHING! I HAVE NOTHING! NO HOME NO FAMILY NO FRIENDS!" she took a deep breath and whispered 'I just want to be a peace once and for all"

"Are you not forgetting something?" Grandpa asked calmly.
"You're making the same mistake I did," said Grandma. "You're not realising it."
"You know, Nahla," said her mate, "do you think we would've taken you in if we didn't care about you? Shadowlander or not, we have come to see you as an... adopted granddaughter now. We would definitely have nothing left if we lost you now. Bron will probably leave us because of his guilt, and nobody else will be able to get rid of our guilt, either. In a way... we need you, Nahla."
Meanwhile, Bron was pacing back and forth, kicking rocks every now and then. He was riddled with guilt and anger, and eventually just crushed the rock he was kicking, imagining it to be the one that took his Littlefoot away.

"It's all my fault' Nahla cried 'If I never came here dad would not of,Littlefoot would still be alive. I should of never listened to what that Jenna lady was telling me" she complained.

Both of the grandparents froze.
"Jenna?" Grandma questioned. "But... how...?"

'You know miss Jenna?" Nahla asked "The same one I do? She is greyish colour and she has a stripe on her back running right down to her face"

The description matched perfectly, but the old longnecks were finding it hard to believe.
"But that's impossible," said Grandpa. "She... she's dead."

Nahla looked confused "She also said her family was friends with my mothers,do you know Nani too? She my mother!"
-
Grandma and Grandpa just looked more shocked by the second. They were completely speechless.
"Nani? You mean that little one...?" she looked to her husband to get confirmation, and that's just what he gave her. "Yes... I think I remember her playing with Jenna a few times... But her family was killed by Hades and he stole her away. He also tried it with our little one too... but by then the herd had heard and stopped him. In the end he only got away with Nani, her thinking he was her saviour. Poor thing."

Nahla stared at them "You....knew my mother?" she stammered.

"I suppose we did," said Grandma. She smiled. "Sweet little thing, she was. Her parents were good friends of ours, they were so wise and caring. It was a sad time when they were... brutally murdered."

Nahla was shocked,they kne wher mother! "Well...I'm her daughter,the result of the horrid event" she sighed.
-
"So we guessed," said Grandpa. "You look a lot like her. I assume her life in the Shadowlands probably wasn't a happy one. She was very young when she was taken. Actually..." he thought for a few moments in his head.
"That... that shouldn't be right," Grandma commented. She was having the same thoughts as her mate.
"If I'm thinking correctly," he said dreamily. "Nani was much younger than Jenna was... and I think that in the time that's passed, and judging by your age... Of course, I'm just guessing this, but she must have been far too young when she had you."
"Only just able to have children," Grandma confirmed. Both of the older longnecks looked at each other with concern and sadness. They only just realised what pain their best friends' daughter had to go through.

Nahla tilted her head "She was 17 when I was born,Daddy likes to mate with females as soon as he can and I don't know why" she said in a sad tone.

Both of the longnecks gritted their teeth, looking even more saddened and completely appalled. Now they felt closer to Nahla. They were connected in some way, after all.

Nahla sighed "But daddy killed her,I wandered in the Mysterious Beyond for serval weeks but no herd would take me in,then Miss Jenna came to me and told me to come here. She said someone special was here for me,they we are fated." she tilted her again "I don't understand that part".
-
"I'm afraid I don't quite understand that either, little one," Grandma said while Grandpa finally set Nahla down.
"Maybe it has something to do with..." he trailed off, still struggling to say his name.
"Not any more, I suppose," Grandma sighed, a lone tear falling down her cheek. "Speaking of which, we should probably check on Bron. He doesn't seem to be coping well at all."

Nahla choked back tears thinking of Littlefoot. But she now realized he will be with her,and Grandma and Grandpa would never betray her. She ran forward and hugged Grandpa around the leg "Thank you...for everything".

Grandpa smiled, the moment was so heart warming for him. He nuzzled her gently.
"Everything's our pleasure," he answered. Grandma also looked down on them, smiling with happiness for what she felt was the first time in ages.

Nahla yawned a smile on her face,tried by all her grief she curled up and fell right to sleep on Grandpa's foot. It was quite adorable.
-
Both of the longnecks smiled, feeling somewhat better than they had just a few moments earlier.
"Um... how am I supposed to move now?" Grandpa asked. For the first time in ages, Grandma Longneck laughed, and a few of the valley residents heard. It seemed like Nahla was bringing them happiness at last.
-
"What is this?" a voiced asked as the parents of the gang walked up. Mr Threehorn did not seem angry at the sight of Nahla,he was now interested about what the longnecks seemed so fond with this young child "Whats with you's and Nahla. Why do you's like her so much?" the other adults nodded wondering too.
Nahla buried her head in the adult,still alseep. Her tail flicking slowly a sign she was now happy.

"As it happens, she turns out to be our friends' descendent," Grandpa answered, smiling at the young child. "Her grandparents were very good friends of ours, but they were killed by Hades and he stole their daughter, taking her to the Shadowlands. He mated with her at a horribly young age and Nahla was one of her offspring."
"Funnily enough, she was lead here by..." Grandma trailed off in case she was called crazy by the threehorn. "I suppose this is what some call destiny."

The adults glanced at each other,Mr Threehorn shook his head "But why is she here? Should she not been in the Shadowlands? Hades doesn't really let anyone leave".

"The rest of her family were killed by Hades," Grandpa explained. "She must have gotten lucky and escaped somehow."

Tria looked at the sleeping child sadly "Hades must want her back to kill her,he might think others will think he is going soft letting her go otherwise.." she let the subject drop "We are to ask how you's are holding up,this must be awful you . Littlefoot's death is affecting as all,the kids are heartbroken...." she stopped talking and nodded,the adults left leaving the longnecks alone.

Duckys and Petries mothers were talking to each other, when they heard someone heavyly crying.
" Oh, sounds like Ducky!" she told the Flyer, "I'll look after her, I think she needs her Mommy! see you!" She walked in the direction, where the crying came from
Meanwhile Ducky's still lying on the ground hunched and still crying like a little baby. None of the gangs attempts to calm her down were successful. Ducky suddenly felt that she want to be left alone:"
Why don't you just leave me alone!?" she sobbed," I wanna be on my own now!"
Spike looked confused. He understood she was very sad about Littlefoots death, but he couldn't understand, why his death hit Ducky that hard. Why wanted she to be alone? Friends are the best in comforting someone!

Cera looked down at the swimmer "It is ok Ducky,no need to be this upset"

Duckys mother arrived the kids. She saw her daughter lying on the ground and crying heavily. It broke her heart how harassed Ducky was.
"Hey Ducky! I'm here, everything's fine!" she tried to comfort the little Swimmer.
"Please let me alone, Mommy!" she whispered with much sobbing.
"Ducky..... we're going to our nest now, ok?"
Ducky didn't answer so she grabbed her and carried her to their nest moving her back and forth to calm her down.
Spike slowly followed them

Cera sighed and headed off to her father.
Nahla remained fast asleep,a content smile on her face. For the first time since her mothers death she was beginning to feel loved and wanted.

Grandpa carefully picked Nahla up and the two went back to the resting place. Bron had exhausted himself with pacing all day and managed to fall into an uneasy sleep. The old longnecks lay down near him, and Grandpa put Nahla down by his side, nuzzling her gently before going the grandparents went to sleep themselves, more peacefully than Bron.

The next day
It had now been 2 days since Littlefoot's 'death'. Nahla awoke with a yawn getting up and stretching. She padded off to a a rock a bit away but still in sight of the resting place. She jumped on it to try and get some tree-sweets off a tree. She loved those tree-sweets.

Grandma was awake and watched her. She looked up to the sky, remembering her old friends and her daughter, and smiled. Perhaps this was meant to be.

Nahla jumped and grabbed a branch,only to get stuck. She could not get down.
-
Grandma rolled her eyes jokingly and went up to Nahla.
"Need some help?" she asked.
-
"No" Nahla answered,she was exactly like her mother when she was young,Littlefoot's mother too.
-
Grandma raised an eyebrow, remembering just how much Nahla was like her mother.
"Okay, then," she answered, eating some treestars off a nearby branch. She grinned slightly as she did so, already feeling a lot better than the day before.

Nahla's branch began to bend,she gasped and down she was hanging down along with her branch "Ok now I need help" she cried clutching her bent branch.
-
Grandma chuckled and went back up to her, placing her head just under Nahla so she could hop aboard. She still couldn't quite believe that Nahla was who she was, but with the way she was acting now, it was obvious she was Nani's daughter.

Nahla hopped over to Grandma's head. She turned and now being high up used her mouth to pick a couple of tree-sweets. She stood raised one leg in the air and held her head high feeling proud of herself.

"Careful now," said Grandma. She got a couple of treesweets of herself, carefully balancing Nahla on her head. Grandpa Longneck also woke up and joined them.
"Good morning," he greeted them quite cheerfully, grabbing some treesweets.

"Morning Grandpa" Nahla greeted him not notcing their shocked reactions at what she just called him
-
The two looked at each other, quite shocked. Grandpa smiled warmly at her, it seemed that now they were all family.
-
Nahla was about the shock them even more "I love you's,your the only family I really ever had" she placed her front legs around Grandma's head as if hugging her.
-
Grandma felt like she was about to let a few tears fall as her heart just melted with happiness. Grandpa felt exactly the same, and nuzzled both of the females with a big smile on his face. Now they definitely had something to live for.

Nahla hopped from Grandma's head to Grandpa "What about dad?" she asked not meaning Hades but Bron.

"If you're talking about Bron..." Grandpa started. He looked worried.
"What happened?" asked Grandma.
"I'm not entirely sure myself," said Grandpa. "He had a load of cuts on his tail when I looked at him this morning, and he seemed to be having nightmares all night. He didn't stop moving around."
"Hmm... I didn't notice that," said Grandma. "I must have slept quite heavily last night."

Nahla glanced over to the other male 'I'm gonna go see if he is ok" she said sliding down Grandpa's tail and walking over.

Ducky was rolling back and forth in her sleep the whole night. The little Swimmer woke up continiously having one bad sleep story after another. Her siblings were angry with her because her screams and crys woke them up as well. Spike wasn't angry with her at all. He always licked her, when she cried, sometimes their mother hugged Ducky and swayed her into sleep.
The next morning: Ducky and Spike slept longer than usual. Again Ducky was torn out of sleep by a really bad sleepstory. She awoke with a panicked scream, Littlefoot was eaten by a sharptooth in her dreams...
She lied on the ground hiding her face in her arms. Again she shouted:" Littlefoot! Littlefoooooooooot!"
Her Mum could understand her being very sad about Littlefoots death, but she couldn't understand, why she cried that much, nearly always to be precise. She really worried about her daughted having in mind what Nahla's done while being sad...

In the skies above the valley was a cloud that looked a lot like a longneck child.

Spike saw the cloud. He poked his mother and pointed at the cloud.
"Ducky, dear, look! Do you see this cloud there?" her mother asked her daughter.
"I don't care!" she rudely replied, "I want Littlefoot baaaaaaaack!!!"
Spike grumbled something to Ducky.
"Ok! what's so interesting? Ohhhh..." Ducky saw the cloud, Spike was right: It indeed looked like Littlefoot!
"He'll always be with you! Here *points at Duckys heart*! He'll always be in your heart as long as you love him!"
Ducky smiled still covered in tears and hugged her mother and then Spike.

Nahla also spotted in and stopped short staring up at the sky "Littlefoot..." she whispered brimming with tears.
Cera and her father glanced up at the sky. Mr Threehorn suddenly turned away "Don't worry Littlefoot,you will get revenge" he vowed to the child and walked to go gather the other adults to discuss it.

Grandma and Grandpa also looked up to the sky and spotted the cloud, and entwined their tails for a few moments, remembering their grandson. Both were full of guilt for being so happy with Nahla and almost acting as if nothing had happened, but they knew that they would have to move on some day.
Bron also saw it, and he too felt extremely guilty. He was examining his tail, after having a slight anger fit and whacking some large boulders with it. He didn't notice that some bits of those were sharp and would cause injury. He didn't notice the pain until today. It seemed like everything hurt now. Suddenly, he saw Mr Threehorn heading to the rock circle, as if going for a meeting, and decided to follow him there.

Mr Threehorn looked around at the gathered dinosaurs "I'm sure most of you are aware of Littlefoot's murder by Ares" he began 'He was good kid,even though I may have called him annoying he was very caring,hard to hate someone who just tried to care for everyone,his death is saddening to us all. So I purpose we gather together and avenge him,Hades will not keep bringing heartbreak the world!" he shouted and waited for response.

Many of the adults roared in agreement and Bron joined them. The death of Shorty, and now Littlefoot, meant war.
The grandparents heard the shouts from a distance away and went over to see exactly what was going on.

Mr Threehorn began to pace unaware of the Grandparents arrival and that they had Nahla with them "Littlefoot's death will no go in vain,he deserves justice. We will revenge him along with everyone else Hades us killed,including the family of little Nahla,when she first arrived I thought she was part of a scam. But she just a child who has no family,abused,homeless,oprahned. and look how we treated her. We all own her an appolgy" he took a breath.

The older longnecks were shocked at Mr Threehorn's words, to say the least.
"Well, I never expected to hear those words from that dinosaur," said Grandpa, smiling. His wife nodded in agreement.

Nahla looked scared "Whats going on?" her gentle heart warming voice broke through the angry adults.
-
"Well..." Grandpa started, a little unsure that he had heard things correctly. "I think these adults want to, er, say something to you, Nahla."
-
Mr Threehorn stepped towards the child "Nahla we are sorry,we sorry for hurting you. Your are one of us now...welcome home".
Tears of joy filled Nahla's eyes as she let out a series of adorable squeaks and squeals.

Grandma watched Nahla, smiling as she squealed, while Grandpa looked at Mr Threehorn and nodded, happy that he had finally accepted her.
Bron headed towards the two. "I don't suppose you heard everything, did you?" he asked them.
"I can't say we know what the shouting was about," Grandpa replied.
"Well... let's just say another battle is about to start," Bron answered him.

Mr Threehorn walked over to them "We would all like to avenge Littlefoot's death and take down Hades once and for!" he shouted.
That terrified Naha who curled up into a ball and sobbed shaking and whining in fear.

Grandma nuzzled Nahla gently, trying to comfort her.
"Right," said Grandpa. "But don't say such things in front of such young children, please." He looked over to Bron. "I take it you plan on joining them?"
"Of course," said Bron. "Hades and Ares have taken both of my sons away from me and ruined my life. I can't let them get away with it."
"Right," Grandpa nodded. "Grandma, get Nahla out of here. This discussion isn't for the young ones."

Mr Threehorn glanced down at Nahla "She is gonna have to come with us when we leave,we need her to get into the Shadowlands,only she knows where an enterance is"
Nahla looked even more terrified about having to go back to her abuse land.

"That is going too far!" Grandma argued. "She doesn't have to go there. It's the worst place anyone can ever go, especially for her."

Nahla fled the scene in fear at thought of going back.

Grandma sighed and went after her, and it didn't take her long to find her.
"Nahla?" she asked. "Look, nobody's going to make you go back there. Mr Threehorn isn't thinking about things, as usual."

Nahla hugged Grandma "Why does no one understand? War is not the answer,why they don't realize that if they go to war they being just as bad as daddy" she said leaning her head against Grandma's leg not releasing her hug.

"I don't know, little one," Grandma nuzzled Nahla as she said it. "You're right. War isn't the right way to go about solving an issue. You're not going back to your father, I'll make sure of that."

Nahla sighed "But I have no family,really I'm only visiting you. They will just give me to another family won't they? Or back to my father" she hugged Grandma tighter "DON'T LET THEM TAKE ME AWAY" she screamed.

"That won't happen," said Grandma quietly. "You're staying with us, and I'm willing to fight for that. Then again, fighting's not a good thing to do, is it?"

Mamam Flyer landed in front of them "Mr Threehorn wants Nahla back".
Fear spread across Nahla's face.
"It ok dear,he thinks he found a family to take you in" the flyer smiled.
Nahla looked up at Grandma with pleading eyes to do something to stop this.

"That... w-what?" Grandma stuttered. "She's... Oh what is this threehorn up to? Come on Nahla, we're going to sort this out," she said, picking Nahla up and storming to the rock circle. Anyone could tell that she was not happy.

Mr Threehorn looked at the old longneck "Whats wrong with you?'
Behind him were another longneck couple,they glared at Nahla a smirk on their faces,they hated her family. They were from Grandma and Grandpa's old herd back when Nani was only a child herself. They were child abusers and very cruel.
Mr Threehorn nodded towards them "These longnecks are gonna adopt Nahla"

"They most certainly are not!" Grandma argued. She knew these longnecks from many years ago, and she knew full well that they couldn't be trusted. "Nahla's been taken into our care, and that's final!"
"I agree with her here," said Grandpa, standing next to his mate. "With what's happened recently, we have come to see each other as family now."

The other female rolled her eyes "Cute,but the thee-horn here already agreed we can adopt her. So please give us our child".
Unknown to the others and only visible to the longnecks the male had a large stone wrapped up with his tail,as well some sort of gag. They wanted Nahla for the pure fact of revenge on her family.

"How about no, because Mr Threehorn doesn't control what Nahla does," said Grandma. She had thought for a moment that he had had a change of heart, but now he was just being stupid.
"And don't take us for idiots," Grandpa snarled at them. "I can see what you've got hidden by your tail there. You can't be trusted. She's staying with us."
Bron glared at Mr Threehorn for doing what he did. He was getting ready should he need to protect his family, Nahla included.

"Well you should of requested an adoption then shouldn't of you?" the female asked.
The male just stared at Grandpa with a fake smile "Ooh we wil take great care of her for the rest of her life". However if Nahla went them,the rest of her life would only be a few days.

"Okay, fine, whatever," said Grandma, getting more irked by these longnecks but managing to keep her cool. "But this wasn't Mr Threehorn's choice to make, it's Nahla's." She lowered her head to let Nahla off.
"Do you want to go with them, Nahla?" Grandpa asked her. "This should be your decision." He shot a look at Mr Threehorn.

"Fine she can chose" the threehorn grumbled,but still shoving Nahla towards the other longnecks.
Nahla just turned and sprinted back to Grandma and Grandpa hugging them.
"GET BACK HERE!" the other screamed walking over and rasing tail and bringing it down on the child in a punishing whip. He grabbed her tail and literally threw her over the female who struck her in the head "DO US YOUR TOLD!" she shouted beating the child,forgetting the other adults were there.

Bron was slowly filling with anger throughout the day, but this was by far the end of the line. He charged at the female, ramming into her with a crushing force. "YOU LEAVE HER ALONE!" he roared.
Grandpa got ready to take on the male, while Grandma Longneck rushed forward and grabbed Nahla. Grandma said she was ready to fight for Nahla, and that was exactly what she was going to do... after finding a safe spot to put Nahla down.

Nahla was screaming,the whipping had left a deep gash on her back. One thing was clear,she needed alot of care by someone who loves her. Otherwise she would not survive.

After Ducky was calmed down she went with Spike to Petrie and Cera to meet them.
They tried to play a game, but it was senceless! They were continously reminded of Littlefoots death.
Ducky was just in a mood to cry again when thy heard noices from the Rock Circle.
"That sounds like a fight!" Ducky wondered.
Spike rolled his eyes, "always fights! Eating's much better, isn't it?" he thought

"That sound like Li-" Petrie stopped himself from saying the name to stop them from all being upset. "...Grandma and Grandpa Longneck. They... They fighting s-s-sharpteeth?"
Meanwhile, Grandma noticed the wound that Nahla had, and her motherly instincts came over her, making her tend to Nahla's injury instead of helping her family. She knew that the males were the better fighters out of her and them, and they should be able to cope for the time being.

"Everything gone wrong since Nahla came here!. Shorty got kidnapped,Littlefoot's death and NOW THIS!" Cera screamed.
Nahla gone motionless,her breathing slowed right down to a point where it could not be since,it seemed as she had fallen into the same type of condition as poor 'dead' Littlefoot.

"Cera!" Ducky shouted angrily," it's not Nahla's fault, yep, yep, yep! From what my mommy told me she had a very bad father, who abused her daily! Why should she want these things to happen? She's nice, believe me, please!"
Spike nodded in agreement and send Cera a meaningful glare.
Ducky really liked the pink longneck. She couldn't believe she had survived all the treatments from her father and the other bad Shadowlanders. Not to forget Mr. Threehorn. Her anger increases even more.

"No..." Grandma breathed. "No... this can't be happening. Not now..." She checked Nahla all over, but there was no sign. Her grief was soon replaced with anger and she turned to the threehorn. "DO YOU REALISE WHAT YOU'VE DONE?!" she yelled at him, before turning to watch the battle in front of her, and the "murderers" of Nahla. Then, she only saw red, charging at the female longneck.
Petrie was almost unable to listen to what was happening, and hugged Ducky tightly.

The other longneck jumped the side "Geez calm down,whats wrong with you?".
Cera glanced over and saw Nahla's body,she walked over to her and poked her. Only to find her lifeless.

"Dear?" Grandpa asked as Grandma came to halt, glaring at the longneck.
"Look over there," she told him. He saw Cera poking Nahla's motionless body, and the realisation in her eyes that she was lifeless.
"No..."
"They did it," she snarled. "They killed her."

Mr Threehorn looked over to the body "Err...opps" he stammered realzing in a way,he killed her.
-
Duckys eyes widened and her mouth was gaping, when she saw Nahla motionless.
"Not again...!" she weakly whispered with tears in her eyes.
Spike walked to Nahla poking her as well. Her body was still warm, although she didn't show any sighns of life. He concluded she's still alive. Suddenly Spike had a weird thought...

Grandma turned back to look at him. "Oops...?" she questioned. "OOPS?! What is wrong with you?! YOU PRETTY CAUSED THE DEATH OF A CHILD AND YOU SAY OOPS?!" Nothing was going to calm down the furious female now. She turned back to the other longnecks. "Since there is no child to give away any more, I suggest you leave," she snarled, turning around and walking away, her loud footsteps echoeing through the valley.
Petrie hugged Ducky again, tears in his eyes, both with sadness and now fear of Grandma Longneck's rage.

The longnecks growled and stomped away,believing Nahla was dead..they won't be back leaving Nahla once again orphaned.

Bron felt a bad pain in his chest and had to lie down when the other longnecks left. It seemed like he had cracked a couple of ribs when he rammed into that female. Grandpa made sure that he would be okay, before following his mate, finding her a lamenting on a hill a short distance away.

Spike ran back to Ducky and Petrie and told them his odd thought.
Ducky translated for Petrie, who like everyone else didn't understand Spikes grumbling
" Spike thinks that Littlefoot isn't... WHAT!? Spike you're genius, oh yes!"
Spike grinned.
"He said Nahla look dead, but she's still warm, so maybe is Littlefoot..!" Ducky explained.
"WE HAVE TO LOOK! COME ON GUYS!!!"

Littlefoot moaned as he started to come round,days after his attack. He found himself in a dark damp cave. Groaning he stood up and limped out and left sight of the cave just as the others arrived.

"Where's Littlefoot?" Ducky wondered.

Petrie was flying ahead of the others, and his eyes widened when he saw what he thought he saw.
"But... that impossible," he whispered to himself. He was imagining it, surely. Immediately, he flew back to the others, nearly screaming.
-
Littlefoot spotted Grandma and Grandpa and grinned and limped over to them "Hi Grandma Hi Grandpa!" he greeted them.
-
Their eyes widened in shock, they thought they were imagining things.
"L... Littlefoot?!" his grandpa exclaimed, just able to get up through all of the shock and confusion.
"B-b-b-b-b-but.... h-h-h-h-how...?" Grandma stammered. She was shaking all over with shock and happiness and could barely move, let alone stand up. Her grandson was alive and walking right towards them.

"hmm, when he's not here then he walked away so he isn't dead!" Ducky thought loudly.
" But that means... HE'S ALIVE!!! THERE! *points at him*I SEE HIM HE'S ALIVE!"
Ducky jumped around out of joy.
The Gang stormed to Littlefoot...

Littlefoot seemed confused "Whats wrong?". He showed signs of just waking from a serve coma,confused and unaware of what was really around him. That was aware when what he thought were his Grandparents turned out to be a tree and he walked right past his real ones and hugged...the tree..

"Oh," said Grandma, getting more confused by the second. "Er..."
"I have no comment," Grandpa commented, looking as if he was about to burst out laughing any second.

Littlefoot pulled away realzing it was a tree. He spotted the real grandparents started walking towards them. his head turning in confusion at where he was. His body swaying as he stumbled quite a few times.

Grandpa put his tail next to Littlefoot to help him keep steady. He still stared in disbelief at Littlefoot, while Grandma looked as if she were about to cry with happiness.

"Grandma..Grandpa?" Littlefoot asked trying to find his voice. He was still very weak and would need at lot of care and rest,he seemed to even forgotten what even happened.
-
"We're here, little one," Grandma had to choke back tears, and her voice was shaky. Grandpa carefully picked Littlefoot up and laid him on his grandma's head, both smiling with joy.

Littlefoot moaned feeling dizzy,he had to grab on to his Grandma's head to stop himself from falling off from his own swaying.

Ducky still jumped around.
Spike rammed his head against a tree to reach the treestars. He was successful.
They all hadn't eaten anything since the heard of Littlefoots death so they filled their empty bellies with tasty green food, while watching Littlefoot from distance.

Cera sprinted towards them "GUYS GUYS!" she screamed

Word spred about 'Nahla's 'death'. Flyers spread the news like wildfire. It soon reached the Shadowlands. A female longneck walked up to Ares,Hades and Shorty "It appears Nahla has passed away in the Great Valley" she said depressed.

Hades froze in shock,his daughter was...dead? His only little girl? He walked outside the the cave and looked up as rare rain began to fall upon the Shadowlands,a silent tear fell from his cheek.

Ares was confused at his fathers behavior but he shrugged it and turned to Shorty with a smirk "Nahla's deeeead" he taunted "Your beautiful little girlfriend is dead. Do you think she is gone to heaven..is she a little angel?" he asked in a mocking voice.

Meanwhile Littlefoot was sick,he was gagging and began to run a high fever. Most likely from lying in a damp wet cave for days.

"Oh dear," Grandma sighed.
"Better out than in, little one," said Grandpa. He turned to Grandma. "Find Mr Thicknose and tell him about this. He might know a cure." Grandma nodded and went to find him while Grandpa tended to his grandson.

Littlefoot moaned,his fever dangerously high,touching him felt like his whole body was on fire.

Grandpa quickly found a large treestar and a pool of water nearby. He quickly wet it and placed it on Littlefoot's head, desperate to cool him down.
Grandma quickened her pace, still looking for Mr Thicknose.

"Grandpa?" Littlefoot cried out his vision blurry and not being able to see him "Grandpa?!!" he paincked thinking he left him.
-
"I'm here, Littlefoot," Grandpa said. "It's all right."
-
Littlefoot moaned as the bright circle burned into his eyses.

Shorty didn't listen to him. He was in his own world not noticing anything that happened in the real world.
"Ahh, of course I know, how to cure him!" Mr. Thicknose replied to Grandma after she finally found the wisest and oldest residant of the Valley. "He needs a special treestar, I know where to find it!
Ehmm... Flyers told me the little pink Longneck Girl from the Shadowlands...how's her name*thinks*...however, they told me she died! Should I look at her whether she's truely dead since Littlefoot wasn't dead after all? Shadowlanders know how to make someone look dead while their victim's still alive, you must know... that must have happened to your Littlefoot, Grandma!
Spike saw Grandpa in worry. He told Ducky, who just tried to tickle Petrie...

Mr Threehorn had taken Nahla's body away.
The pink longneck dangled 'lifeless' from his mouth.
Littlefoot was getting worse,his fever was getting even higher.

Grandma thought about what Mr Thicknose said as she followed him to the special treestar cure. If Nahla was alive, then that would bring complete happiness to her and she would immediately request to adopt her. Right now, though, she needed to help her grandson recover.
"Hey! Stop that!" Petrie laughed as Ducky tickled him.

Nahlas body was tossed into the same cave Littlefoot was in.
Mr Threehorn walked off acting like it was all normal,not even notcing that the supposed to be dead Littlefoot was gone and well alive".
Nahla moaned as she began to open her eyes "Grandma?" she called out "GRANDMA!" .

Mr.Thicknose showed Grandma, where the medicine for her grandson was growing.
"Give him two treestars three times a day and he'll be cured in two or three days!" he explained Grandma.
Spike grumbled something at Ducky.
"Oh, Spike says Littlefoot's ill!" Ducky told her friends.

Grandma suddenly heard the yells coming from the cave, and grabbed a load of treestars.
"Thanks," she said with her mouth full, before rushing towards the cave where she guessed Nahla had been put. "I'm coming, Nahla," she muttered under her breath. It looked like Mr Thicknose was right.

Nahla began to cry like a baby would cry for it's mother.

Grandma got to the cave, and she was both shocked and elated at what she saw.
"Nahla!" she exclaimed, mouth still full with special treestars.

Nahla tried to crawl over to Grandma still crying

Grandma finally put the treestars down and went over to Nahla, lowering her head so she could climb on. She smiled, it seemed like there was going to be a happy ending after all.
"That not good!" Petrie cried as he looked over to Grandpa. It looked like Spike was right, Grandpa was worried and Littlefoot was just laying on the ground.

Nahla climbed on Grandma's head sobbing,she seemed to be mentally damaged.
Littlefoot coughed and shifted his head,the bright circle burned his eyes he looked really uncomfortable and he was.

"Let's look after him! Yep, Yep, Yep!" Ducky suggested.
The gang agreed so they walked to the longneck's resting place

On the wall of The Great Valley stood a black longneck. In his mouth he carried Shorty. Hades's red eyes were brimmed with tears. With a sigh he stepped into the valley.
-
Bron was still laying in pain from his cracked ribs. He suddenly noticed something he really didn't want to see. A black figure standing on the Great Wall, watching over them.
-
Hades walked up to the longneck resting place and cleared his throat,he walked up to Grandpa and dropped Shorty "Here" he nudged the child forwards.
-
Grandpa looked completely in shock at both of the longnecks in front of him. "Sh... Shorty?" he stammered, shaking with disbelief.
-
"I'm sorry for all this" Hades told the other male "I plan on taking my own life shortly...I just got one last request" he looked at Grandpa in the eyes "I want to visit my daughters grave,and tell her sorry and goodbye".
-
Bron had followed Hades to where Grandpa was, and he was utterly shocked at what he saw. Not just that Littlefoot was alive, not just that Shorty was alive, but that Hades actually looked sad.
Grandma had also just arrived at the scene, and nearly screamed when she saw Hades, immediately backing off.

Hades was...sobbing "Please let me see my daughter".
Nahla whimpered in fear at the sight of her father.
-
"Why should I?" Grandma snarled at him, backing off even more, thinking that he was probably putting on an act. Bron went to stand by her side in case anything else bad happened, which he really hoped wouldn't happen. He didn't know how well he'd put up a fight in the condition he was in.
-
Hades hang his head "I deserve to see my own daughter" Hades replied "But fine" he raised the rock he been holding it against his own throat "Your all heartless".
Littlefoot raised his head and moaned confused at what was going on "Who--wha--erm..going who...that" he said in a huge jumble that made no sense.

Shorty walked to Littlefoot, he wanted to say something
"Ehm...Littlefoot! We need to talk! he said softly.
The gang arrived the resting place as well

Littlefoot blinked trying to see whats in front of him "Huh?" he coughed,the wet tree-star still covered his head.

"I....I..I just............I just want to say sorry for everything, what I've done to you. You can have Nahla, I'm not into her anymore!"

Littlefoot looked like he did not even know what he was talking about "Whats...a Nahla?' he wheezed,which most likely showed Shorty just how sick his brother was.

Shorty realized that he's wastingg time. He walked to his father Bron and hugged him
"I'm so sorry for everything, Daddy!" he cried.

"Shorty?" a voice whispered. Nahla slipped off Grandma and walked over to Shorty. She looked really weak and tired "Is that you?".
Hades saw his daughter and started walking over to her.

Ares who had followed his father seemed shocked "Dad,what you doing?".

Hades did not answer him instead he just lowered his head and nuzzled Nahla "Nahla I am sorry,I just realized how much do you mean to me. Your a fighter,even though I abused you,you fought through it,you survived. You did not give up. You gained many friends and a beautiful new home,I now realize I have to let you go at some point and I can't hunt you down forever and I don't want to,I do not want to hurt my baby anymore" tears fell from Hades eyes "When I head the rumors you have died,everything I done...everything from the day I was born came crashing down,I hurt so many,and what do I have? A wasteland, a dying herd,Nahla I want you to stay in in The Great Valley you'll be safe here,and remember I love you and I am so sorry".
Nahla stared at him in shock "Why....did you change?,You....were always so mean".
Hades sighed "The reason I did what I did....is because I was raised that way and I thought thats how everyone was meant to act. Now I realize I was corrupted the day I was born,all those females I just used then they could of found a real mate to love them,I feel so awful....and your mother...I'll do anything to have her back. She was not like the others...I realize now I loved her...she had such an an amazing personality..and look what I did to her.." Hades took a deep breath "She was so young want I took her,only about 5 or 6,she had a little friend Jenna,who I believe was about 12? or at least close to it.I tried to take both of them but in the end only got Nani,I used her for my own greed. She was far too young and I was far too old." he looked his daughter in the face "You did not deserve the life I gave you or anyone for that matter...I was so wrong I do not deserve to live anymore,I'll let these Great Valleyers kill me,if it means you will be safe at last"
Nahla scanned his face for a lie and saw none she ran forward and hugged him
"Daddy" she sobbed.
Hades nuzzled her "I love you Nahla,my little baby girl" tears poured down his cheeks onto Nahla's pink body.
"I...love you daddy" Nahla smiled.
Hades smiled at his daughter with love and gave her gentle licks...how could this be the same dinosaur?

Everybody was stood in complete silence, apart from Bron, who was nuzzling Shorty, but even he stopped when Hades talked.
"Well, I know other can change... but this..." Grandma breathed in disbelief. What had happened to Hades?

Nahla fell asleep with her fathers gentle rocking.
Hades sighed nad stood up holding his daughter passing her to Grandma "Here,take care of my baby". With that he turned to Grandpa "Kill me...now....please"

"I can't do that, Hades," Grandpa sighed. "You know I'm not a killer."
"What about the other residents?" Bron suggested. Grandma looked at him, horrified.
"Bron, surely you..." she started. Bron looked away, ashamed he had suggested it in front of his parents-in-law. He knew what they were like, they could always sort out a situation without a physical fight breaking out. Grandpa just had an idea to carry on that trend.
"You don't need to die, Hades," he said. "If you really have changed, prove it. Go out there and do some good in the world."

Hades sighed and his eyes drifted over to Littlefoot "He's...dying" he whispered looking around and smiling before sprinting over to a tree and knocking down a fruit,using his tail and smashed it open it and left behind the juices. He grabbed some tree-stars and smashed them up mixing them in with it. He saw a bush of sweet bubbles and snuck over grabbing some,smashing them up and putting them in the mix. After he was done he walked over to Littlefoot and poured the mixture down his throat.
Almost instantly Littlefoot seemed stronger,he even manged to get to his feet.

All of the longnecks watched in disbelief at Hades actions, and even more so when they saw Littlefoot's miraculous recovery.
"I think Mr Thicknose has found his match," Grandma chuckled.
"How did you know that?" Bron asked. "You don't seem like the type who would know mixtures for good cures."

Hades sighed "It's a thing you learn as a child back where I was born,Littlefoot had ' Inayokuja Kifio,that means forthcoming death,as that what it does to you..kills you. You suffer and suffer with aching,high fevers...and your body...shut down" Hades looked at the ground "We were made to learn it mainly to protect our future heirs. Only what you know as Shadowlanders know this secret,a secret that belongs to our people"

"Oh... okay then," said Bron. "Wait, Littlefoot was going to DIE?!" Grandma also didn't look too impressed.
"When I see Mr Thicknose, I'm going to slap him," she grumbled. Grandpa chuckled.
"I'll warn him to stay out of your path then," he laughed. Nobody seemed scared of Hades any longer after his actions. Grandpa looked at him. "Thank you," he said, before going back to tending Littlefoot.

"Yes,your grandchild was very weak. He would of most likely of died tonight from the sudden chill" as he said that a cold breeze blew "What you must do now,is wet a tree-star...as I seen you have done and place it on his head. However change it to a new one every few hours. Keeps him more fresh" he shook his head and looked over to the special tree-stars "I shall hope you did not give him those....those are highly poisonous not made for dinosaurs to eat...I think your Thicknose friend got the cure one and this one mixed up,if it's the safe one it should NOT have a small berry on the stem" sure enough when Hades raised the tree-star and showed it to them,a small berry hang from it. "If you were carrying them in your mouth...your fine as the real poison is in the tree-star itself's when you bite in to it,but do not ever ever shallow a tiny bit size of these"

Grandma immediately backed away from the treestars.
"That's the last time I ever trust Mr Thicknose again," she said horrified, knowing she could have killed her grandson. She was going to have some words with Mr Thicknose later, but it might just end up being a bit more than that.
"We'll do that," Grandpa said to Hades, ignoring his wife's comment. He didn't understand what was going on, but he somehow trusted Hades.

Hades looked ahead "Good,I shall leave you's now" he lowered his head and gave the sleeping Nahlaa goodbye kiss "Take care of my little girl" he said and walked off.

Grandma merely nodded and watched as Hades walked off.
"That was odd, to say the least," said Bron. Suddenly he cringed in pain and collapsed to the ground.
"Bron!" Grandma cried, rushing up to him. "What happened?!"
"Ugh.. well, let's just say that it wasn't a good idea ramming into that longneck," he answered, gritting his teeth.

Hades was almost out of the valley when he felt something sticking into him.
Mr Threehorn had his horns dug into Hades's sides "Your life ends here Hades"

Grandma inspected Bron's injury and concluded that he would heal on his own as long as he didn't do too much.
"I wonder if Hades made it out okay," he wondered. "It's not easy getting in and out of the valley without someone noticing."

Hades screamed and tried to fight back but the Threehorn had stength which he did not as he had food...real food. Hades's eyes closed and he dropped the the ground,in a pool of blood
Mr Threehorn pulled his horns out of the longnecks side a smile on his face. He did it. Killed Hades.

"I have a bad feeling," said Grandpa. "I need to go and check it out." He began to walk off, leaving the others behind.
"You always have a bad feeling," Bron commented as he left, earning himself a glare of Grandma.

Mr Threehorn walked past Grandpa splattered in blood "Hey longneck,I avenged your boy-killed Hades" he laughed and walked off.

"Oh no..." sighed Grandpa, rushing off to find Hades. It wasn't long before he found him; and he was horrified by what he saw. The threehorn had stabbed him, and there was a huge pool of blood around the giant black body. He checked for any life signs, but there were none, and it would be impossible to move him. If the other residents found out, which no doubt they would through the threehorn, they would try and completely destroy the corpse. There was nothing he could do now, he was too late this time. "I'm sorry," he said quietly to Hades's lifeless face.

"Grandpa? Daddy?" Nahla voice broke through the air,her eyes drifted to her fathers body "DADDY!" she screamed tears pouring she turned to Granpa begging "Make him get up! Please! I have no family left,he has got to get up"

"Nahla.... I've tried..." It was clear that there were tears in Grandpa's eyes as he watched the devastated face of the little one in front of him. He went over to Hades's chest again and pressed his ear against it, hoping for some sort of sign, but there was none. This was getting too devastating to bear. "I fear I was too late to save him... I'm so sorry Nahla..."

Grief filled Nahla's face,she was now an orphan in this cold cruel world. Screaming she turned and grabbed a sharp rock,completely forgetting what Grandma and Grandpa told her after her last attempting she raised it and sliced her neck dropping to the ground. Motionless

"NO!" Grandpa cried, but it was too late. He couldn't stop himself now; he started crying and couldn't, or wouldn't, stop.
"For goodness' sake dear, what happened?" came the voice of his mate as she came from behind a few trees. She had heard his cries and left Bron with the kids while she went to investigate, but now Grandpa did not need to answer her question.
"She saw Hades's body, and I couldn't stop her... It was so quick..." he answered in between sobs as Grandma's eyes drifted to Nahla. She went over to her and checked her over, tears falling down her own cheeks.
"Oh Nahla..." she cried. "I'm so sorry..." She turned to her mate. "Go back to the others. It's very weak but I heard a faint life sign," she said. "I'll get her away from Hades and take her to a different place in the Valley. I don't want the children seeing her."

Nahla's heartbeat was getting weaker and weaker as she tried to surrender to death,blood poured from her neck. And this was all because of that stupid Threehorn.

Grandma didn't bother taking Nahla very far away; she knew she was falling into death with every moment that passed. She licked the wound clean before grabbing some damp treestars and placing them on her neck in an attempt to stop the bleeding. After being both a mother and grandmother cuts and scratches were nothing new to her, but now there was a risk since this cut was on Nahla's neck. She placed the end of her tail precautiously on top of the treestars to completely cover the cut and make sure the minimal amount of bleeding happened, but trying not to strangle her. It was either that or watch her bleed to death.
Meanwhile, Grandpa returned to his nest, his grief made room for his anger at Mr Threehorn on his way back. He said nothing when he returned; instead he just lay down and looked at the ground, deep in thought.

Nahla did not seem to responding to the treatment. Her last sign of life faded. She would not wake up this time....she was turely dead.

Grandma checked for life signs 1000 times over, but there was nothing. She was truly gone this time. She sighed, her eyes suddenly turning into waterfalls, as she picked her up and placed her by her father's head, and nuzzled her gently.
"Sleep now, little one," she whispered. She looked up to the sky, and swore that for a moment one of the clouds took the form of a longneck, and she remembered her daughter. "Look after them both." With that, she turned away and headed back to the resting place.
"Papa Longneck, please just tell me what happened!" Bron begged, after telling the children to play nearby.
"Hades is dead," Grandpa answered. "The threehorn killed him." Bron was shocked to hear the news, and then realised that another adult was missing.
"And Mama Longneck?" Bron questioned. "Where is she?"
"Nahla cut herself deeply in the neck after seeing her father's body," Grandpa carried on. "She's gone to try and save her life. How successful she will be, I don't know."
"I'm sure Nahla will make it," Bron assured him. "She a strong kid."
At that moment, Grandma slowly walked up behind them, the only noise that alerted them being her thunderous footsteps. Bron's hopes were completely shattered when he saw her face. Her eyes were blooshot and glazed over, thinking too much about what just happened rather than focusing on the real world around her. She had nearly stepped on several other small dinosaurs on the way back.
"No..." Bron breathed. "Tell me it's not true!" A slight nod was all he got, and there was just silence afterwards.

Littlefoot walked forward after hearing his Granmda "Grandma? Why are you sad?"/

"Oh, Littlefoot..." she sobbed, nuzzling her grandson. "I'm so sorry... so sorry..." The whole family embraced him, but none explained what had happened.

Littlefoot seemed confused,having his memory back thanks to Hades Littlefoot looked around "Wheres Nahla?"

"She's gone now," said Grandma. "She's joined her father..." she wasn't sure if Littlefoot knew about Hades, but she couldn't use the word "death" right now. She was in too much emotional pain after having to watch Nahla fade away right in front of her eyes. It reminded her too much of when she watched her own child die, except she couldn't go near him afterwards. Grandpa knew exactly what she was thinking, and started to cry again, grieving for everyone he knew that he had lost.

"What do you mean she joined her father?" Littlefoot cried "I want her here! I love her! I need her!".
"Littlefoot it will be fine" a voice whispered as a cloud took the shape of Nahla and looked down "I'm at forever peace now,and I will always be in your heart. I'll always be with you. By your side..if you never forget me...I'll never die"

The bright circle began to set, and the longneck family finally began to settle down.
"Okay, little ones, time for rest," said Grandpa. He was careful not to say sleep, as he knew many of them wouldn't be getting much of that tonight. He looked up to the sky. "I'm sorry, old friends," he whispered. "I failed you." His mate smiled weakly at him, gently nudging Littlefoot towards the resting place while Bron got Shorty. On the way, Grandma began to sing her lullaby, and the other adults joined in, singing until the end of the song. It was a sort of family tradition to do whenever someone died or was close to dying. They were still distraught and disturbed by what happened in the Great Valley over the course of the past few weeks. Mr Threehorn would get what was coming to him later, but now, the valley residents were getting ready to sleep. Grandma stayed up the longest, her mind drifting to the "sleeping" Nahla and Hades near the outskirts of the valley. She looked up to the sky and smiled. Life would get better eventually, she knew that, and everyone would recover one day. She finally joined everyone else in the land of sleep stories in an uneasy sleep.

And so as the day ended so did the lives of Hades and Nahla. The setting bright circle lead their souls to the other world.
The Shadowlanders all perished. The drought got out of hand,they all slowly died a horrible death,their screams went unheard.
Till then day Littlefoot too died he never forgot his first love. Whenever he felt down he knew Nahla would been there,even if she was not seen. She was in his heart. She was his angel...his guardian angel.
