I just came across a little land before time poem I wrote as a tribute a long time ago. It is mainly about Petrie and I might use an altered version of it in one of the stories I'm planning on.
It is titled "The flyer is gone"
He was there all the time
Now he’s suddenly gone
Spread his wings and flew
Into the rising sun
Just a moment, just a flap
How can it leave such a big gap
Just a fading shape
In the sun’s ray
An empty skyscape
The flyer has flown away!
How can one so tiny
Leave such a giant hole
Sun seems no longer shiny
With him gone we feel sole
Will ever he remember
To us or his own life?
Or did the winds separate him
Forever from our gang of five?
