Ok guys I have decided to start a new RP. This is strict no OC .
Plot:
A sudden blizzard has taken the Great Valley residents by surprise. It came so suddenly no one was even slightly prepared.Food supply is getting lower and lower everyday..whats even worse..they are trapped. A landslide blocks their only way out. The children start getting ill,the grown ups fight over something small as a lone tree-star,and the blizzard only gets worst. Will they realize that staying together is their key to survival? Or is this it?
I suck at summaries lol,but I am making this so we can talk about and come up with a full plot.

I'll take Petrie. Heh heh! I can already see the panicky flier freaking out about the blizzard.
I would imagine 1 or 2 trees with greenfood still, and a HUGE argument started by you-know-who over them.

Do you see this rp as being the type that will be posted to very fast?

It will be pretty slow paced as there will be no 'fill ins'
Me and somerandomfangirl have our own RPS which are pretty fast paced but just because it's just 2 of us.
My old RPS got out of hand so starting fresh at a much calmer pace.A post when you want kind of thing.

Ok, just wanted to be sure. I don't have a problem with fast posted rp's. If some want to do that and visit or are here enough to do that and enjoy that, great. But I don't visit enough to do that myself.
Think I may do Ducky again. I've done her before and it's been a while.

People are welcome to take more then one character but I'm not I got 2 other RPS going on so pretty busy as it is.
Will start when most characters are filled,I'll post a little intro and yeah.
Not sure how this RP will work out,the plot was just an idea that popped in my head,been debating over it for the last 2 months and finally decided to give it a shot.

Sadly nothing aside from illnesses due to the harsh freezing wind...
Two things I wanna ask/suggest other than your question nahla:- I just wrote a post about Thicknose. Should I continue his thought or should it remain untold? It may be better to tell you my actual thought first? :unsure:
- chaosdestruction hasn't posted for Petrie yet. Since it would be weird if everyone is in search of shelter but Petrie's not, do you think someone should fill in? I'd do it.

First of all, if this blizzard is really this bad, will the adults suggest moving somewhere else until it passes? If they don't, then why not? I don't mind them being trapped in the great valley, if that's what you're going for, but unless your planning for this to devolve into Donner-party style desperation and infighting, it'll be hard to work out dramatic plot elements if nothing can go in or out of the valley. What is this blizzard, anyway? Is it simply a freak of nature snow storm, a Plauge with a supernatural cause, or something ambiguous that could be interpreted as either (much like the bad luck of Saurus rock)?

If Chaos doesn't appear with Petrie soon,we gonna have to find a fill in.
And I have no idea Loyfe,I really did not think about it,only ones able to get in and out are flyers going after help.
And it just a freak snow.
I been in a freak storm once,but it was dust not snow.

Some may suggest moving to the area where they stayed at the end of I think the 8th movie. If the pass or ways out are snowed in & blocked then maybe only flyers can get there. They could rest there, get water then fly some food back. Though likely not enough to keep everyone fully fed since a flyer can only carry so much even if it's bundled so they could carry it in their feet by another flyer. Also in a tv episode they found a spot with some green food, not sure if such a place would exist or if it may not. It seems that in the tv episode, if I recall correctly it could be said to be towards the end of the cold time, not the beginning so may not help in this situation.
Water could maybe be gotten in some underground rivers in caves maybe and underground ponds/pools. Also in I think the 7th movie some of the herds seemed to be able to fit in a large cave. Not sure if it is still around or an earthshake damaged it. some could maybe shelter in various other caves.
Just some ideas I had, some may not work, or none may, based on the circumstances.

The valley flyers could get out and get the children food since I'm guessing the adults would put them first.

Greetings I'm back. Sorry for not posting earlier. New games, reunion with Netflix, ect.

Sorry about mixing up the fog and snow. I've been really busy with finals lately and have been taking what time I can muster to skin through the posts to get something quickly written down into a post. I'll make sure my posts are higher quality from now on.
Also, quick question: would anybody be interested in a Lord of the Flies style paranoia that something's in the fog to increase group tension?

Ok I want to revive this,if someone wants to pull out let me know and I can find a new person to play that character.
I'm thinking of doing one of my little narrations ,just to get moving again.

It would be good to revive it,I'm interested in seeing how it plays out in the end.
Last post was in November and that was just Nahla going 'Who the heck are you?' though course she didn't say it like that. Last real post was back in October (by me YAY ME). Maybe the storm snow can worsen into a full on whiteout?

I do know that somerandomfangirl has pulled out and given Sleeping-force's-inside Grandpa so I have to update that.
I have not seen our Petrie person at all since they signed up,so I think it best if we get a replacement for Petrie. If they do come back and still want it they can ask for Pertie back however.
So Dosu has pulled,Ducky?
