it’s more like neutral news, so I can’t come up with any bad news relating to it.

The good news is, marine biologists have made contact with a civilization of sentient squid in the deep ocean.

The bad news is, the Doctor appears and admonishes you for meddling with the time-space continuum, and forces you to put things back the way they were (because even though the SWHS is bad, it has an important place in the timeline).

The good news is, after conquering humanity, the squids' first order of business is to clean up the oil spill.

The bad news is, because of the setting, Timon and Pumbaa aren't in it.

The good news is, the squid enforce strict regulations on BP's oil drilling methods to prevent future disasters. (I'm sorry; I'm a little dry on ideas now, but I love the scenario of squid taking over the Earth.
