but when I added more options to the poll, my vote didn't follow accordingly and there is no "manual override" for the votes. Oh well :p

I was just stating that is incorrect. You see 2 votes there, with one of them being mine. My vote should Not be there. It is supposed to be in

I never took music theory, just played the stuff and learned off of that.

I don't remember much but way way way back in fourth grade the substitute teacher did teach the class how to read and write music, though I don't remember any of that since I had no reason to remember and keep using it. She was the teacher for 2-3 months while the regular teacher was on maternity leave.
