^ I don't know I just assumed that it was abnormal to have such a split personality.  Perhaps it is more common then I thought.

I suffer from a mental abnormalty where I can be fond of cute, light movies like the LBT one minute and the next be basking in bloodshed and slaughter in either movies, games, or one of my stories without sensitivity.

That's me!!! I love "childish" cartoons, but I also like to watch splatter/gore-movies! One day I first watched LBT, and then a movie which is not suitable for people under 18 years. It was... funny xD

But I don't think that this is a mental abnormality.

Something about me:

When I watch movies, I often sympathize with the psychopaths. o.O

Me too... It's sort of like yin and yang... contrast and balance... It makes one a great person.

Something about me:

Like many people on this forum, I'm also really into history. However, I'm typically more interested in Eastern history or American history. (yin and yang... contrast and balance...)

That reminds me of how I am with monster movies; I'm often sympathetic to the creatures, and feel bad for them if/when they die.

No idea if I mentioned this before but I am an extreme hoplophile and 2nd Amendment rights supporter.

Not to mention, I now carry 2 knives with me nearly all the time (an unbranded one that my grandfather gave to me and a Gerber Paraframe).

Oh yeah, developed a habit of kissing each blade after I wash them.

And I like shirts and jackets that are a little loose.

I have hypersensitive skin, which means that I find a lot of clothes to be itchy and uncomfortable. I almost exclusively wear relatively loose clothing made from soft, smooth fabrics. For some reason I’m also more comfortable when more of my skin is covered, so I wear long pants and turtlenecks nearly all the time, even in hot weather.

*I am very tolerant of hot temperatures but quite intolerant of cold temperatures, though I have been known to adapt quickly to whatever environment I'm currently in.

*My favorite jeans are skinny jeans, and I also like jeggings.

*I wear a size six and a half shoe.

*I have a boyish, T-shape physique, which means I'm widest at the shoulders and I am narrow and straight from the midsection down, a common build in mesomorphs.  Also, my body fat percentage is estimated to be about 23%.

I am very tolerant to high temperatures.

I have recently taken up slinging as a hobby (must be channeling TWV Mr. Bigmouth) and can launch a rock ~50+ feet.  My current sling is merely a strip of cloth and I plan to make a real one soon.

I don't believe into an afterlife (I mean in the religious way). When I'm dead, I'm dead.

I'm going to freeze myself when I'm really, really old.

Maybe I can life longer after my revival, because of better medical treatment and living conditions.

^I'm the opposite, being a very strong believer in the afterlife.

I also believe in reincarnation.  Past-life reincarnation, not Hindu-based reincarnation.  I don't believe folks come back as other living things.

Today I went to my volunteer job at the aquarium at noon for a two-hour shift, but there were so many visitors today and I was enjoying myself so much (and no one had signed up for the next shift) that I stayed an extra two hours! :p :lol

Sinus surgery. For some reason, my eyes remained open through the procedure.
