Yes, it's available in region 4 (Australia, New Zealand, Latin America.) I suppose that it has a bigger fanbase there. It will be available in the U.S. in early 2007. Exactly when that is, I don't know. It's also possible that the release of the 12th movie in the U.S. will coincide with the release of the tv series. Still, if we want more information on the movie, we can hope that some Australian will write a review... or something...

But why would it be released in other countries first when the movie was produced here in the USA? I'm confused.

Is anyone here from Australia? If so, can you tell us about the movie? (I don't really expect that anyone here is.)

Actually Australia seems to be the country with the highest percentage of LBT fans in their population ;)
The first fan I ever met is from Australia, since then I met about twice as many Aussies as Germans (with Germany having four times as many citizens as Australia) who were LBT fans.
Anyway, it is true that the one Australian members of the GOF hasn't been heard of for a long time.

That explains why Australia gets the release of lbt XII before America. Still, the U.S.A should be getting the "Great Day Of The Flyers" sometimes in early 2007, perhaps early January.

One thing I find rather strange is that LBT 12 no longer has any entry at the imdb. I'm quite sure there used to be an entry earlier on. They still have the entry on the upcoming series, but the entry on LBT 12 seems to have been removed.

No, there never was an entry for it on IMDB. I was hoping there would be close to its release, but so far, no luck.

I've tried universalstudios.com. No luck. I even tried the kids movie section. Those people really need to work on their website.

Maybe it will be a small enough release that there won't be an pre-release info; it may just show up in stores unannounced.

Someone at my local video store told me that this happens sometimes.

Hmm. Hey, just what were the sales for LBT11? That may clue us in on why this one is getting so little attention. If the LBT sequels start selling less, we can expect to see them less often, or just stop seeing them altogether, as much as I hate to say it.

I don't know what the sales were, but the fact that they're making a tv series means that they must think it's profitable. Keep in mind that a tv series represents a large investment of time and money.

I found this on a website:

http://www.thedigitalbits.com/

It says:

"In DVD news today, Universal has set Alias Smith and Jones: Season One for release on 2/20 (SRP $39.98). They've also set Barbie Fairytopia: Magic of the Rainbow for release on 3/6, with The Land Before Time XII: The Great Day of the Flyers expected on 2/27."

The 27th of Feburary?! What's taking them so long to release it in the U.S.?! Australia already has it! I hope this information is for another region. Could someone please check to confirm this, and I hope that I am wrong!

I know that no one has responded yet, but does anyone know any additional details about the movie? From the pictures at http://images2.fotosik.pl/284/998c69d30bb09b60.jpg

It would appear that Cera's half-sibling is colored a slightly darker shade of orange then she is, but I don't know his/her name. Does anyone know any other details?

They've only prepared one season. That's hardly any bigger of an investment than any of the sequels. In any case, the next sequel has gotten very little attention, and the publicity around the series is no better. Had this been around the time of the fifth sequel, news of the next sequel and the series would have been everywhere, just about.

Don't forget that a 13th sequel is being produced. The TV series is (so far) not meant to be the end of the sequels.

Spreading resources so thinly is never a good move either.  -_-

I think watching the movie before judging the movie is a good idea. I was very critical after seeing the cover of LBT and had pretty much written of the sequel. It turned out to be one of my favorites after all. It is a lesson I didn't forget, and I don't mean to .

Hmm, well according to all that information, LBT 12 is 74 minutes long.  My prediction was 75, so my esitmate was really close. :)

Based on the color of Cera's new sibling, I'm guessing it's female.  After all, it would be strange to see a pink colored boy dinosaur. :P:

We sadly get to see her 27 minutes, a little more than one third of the way, into the movie.  To be honest, I was expecting somewhere in the first 10 minutes we would see her.

Wait a minute.  I just thought of something.  Could she be the "Ruby" that's been talked about all this time?  If so, then the creators really surprised me.

I can't wait for this movie to come out in America.

Feburary 27th will feel like a long wait for me. :^.^:
