SPOILER POST!!
We start off with Pinkie Pie trying everything with her friends. With us knowing her, surprisingly, she gets exhausted as a result.
EDIT 1: After Fluttershy helps Pinkie recover, Applejack and Rainbow Dash both invite Pinkie to do something and they're both at the same time. As such, Pinkie tries to get herself faster, but Twilight tells her that the only way she could pull off her problem would be to be at two places at once. From that, Pinkie remembers an old story.
Out of all the places, the magical pond is located in The Everfree Forest. On top of that, the clones only retain a certain personality and not a full memory.
Afterward, Fluttershy invites the new clone to a tea party. The clone, who was supposed to join Applejack, freaks out and meets up with the real one, who is hanging with Rainbow Dash.
The two return to the pond and clone themselves. The new clones get carried away and clone over and over.
The clones cause massive chaos everywhere and the citizens go to Twilight to get help. She finds the book about the legend with a spell to bring the clones back. The catch though is that if you can't tell the real one apart, you might get rid of that one as a result.
Twilight comes up with a test to tell which one is the real one. The test, watching paint dry. (Yes, the least fun thing in the world.) The fakes easily get distracted and are set back while the real one keeps her eyes on the paint just to pass.
We end with Pinkie giving the lesson she learned and Twilight blocking the entrance to the magical pond for good. Pinkie's friends want to celebrate having the real one back, all with different ideas. Pinkie though decides to celebrate with a well deserved nap!
