Where did you get this information? If it's from Wikipedia, TV.com, or IMDB, I wouldn't trust the information. Besides, I have my doubts there'll be a season 2 given the fact that the LBT offices were closed down.

Update: I did check out Wiki, TV, and IMDB myself. There was a bit of false information on the LBT Wiki page (LandBeforeTime.wikia), for LBT 14, so I removed that information, since the page was for a list of official movies. TV.com still has the episode "Return of the Eggstealers" up, an ep that was pretty much proven to be false, and the two entries for a season 2 are "duplicate entry", so I doubt this is any official work; just a fan's wishful thinking. in IMDB.com, they have several season 1 eps in "unknown season", and they have a season 2 ep up called Seperation in the Mysterious Beyond, but this I am sure is a fake given that the air date for it is back in 2008 and no episode by this title had actually aired. Again I think it was a fan's wishful thinking.

At this point, all we can assume is what we already know or can speculate. The closing of the studios could have been because of the decrease in profits the more recent sequels brought, especially the highly disappointment that is LBT XIII. Then again, I think it might be best that nothing new comes out for the time being. We already have truly great memories to the series that making more sequels like LBT XIII and tv series songs like Oops Eeps might hurt those memories. So as of this point, if they make a second series, then good luck to them. If not, that's perfectly fine with me.

If (and hopefully) they do continue with the series, I certainly hope they put a lot more time and effort into ensuring all future projects are of good quality
