Interesting! That's cool. :) Are you thinking of focusing on one area of literature, or branching out to many varieties and genres?

Another song which almost anyone can relate to at least once in your life. It's really uplifting, inspiring, but also tragic.
Pink - Perfect

[Verse 1]
Made a wrong turn, once or twice
Dug my way out, blood and fire
Bad decisions, that's alright
Welcome to my silly life
Mistreated, misplaced, misunderstood
Miss “no way it's all good”
It didn't slow me down
Mistaken, always second guessing
Underestimated
Look, I'm still around

[Chorus]
Pretty, pretty please
Don't you ever, ever feel
Like you're less than, less than perfect
Pretty, pretty please
If you ever, ever feel
Like you're nothing, you are perfect to me

[Verse 2]
You're so mean
When you talk
About yourself, you were wrong
Change the voices in your head
Make them like you instead
So complicated, look happy, you'll make it
Filled with so much hatred, such a tired game
It's enough, I've done all I can think of
Chased down all my demons, I've seen you do the same, oh

[Chorus]
Pretty, pretty please
Don't you ever, ever feel
Like you're less than, less than perfect
Pretty, pretty please
If you ever, ever feel
Like you're nothing, you are perfect to me

[Bridge]
The whole world's scared, so I swallow the fear
The only thing I should be drinking is an ice-cold beer
So cool in line, and we try, try, try
But we try too hard, it's a waste of my time
Done looking for the critics, 'cause they're everywhere
They don't like my jeans, they don't get my hair
Exchange ourselves and we do it all the time
Why do we do that?
Why do I do that?
(Why do I do that?)

[Chorus]
Yeah, oh, oh pretty, pretty please
Pretty, pretty please
Don't you ever, ever feel
Like you're less than, less than perfect
Pretty, pretty please
If you ever, ever feel
Like you're nothing, you are perfect to me
Yeah, you're perfect, you're perfect to me
Pretty, pretty please
If you ever, ever feel
Like you're nothing, you are perfect to me

LBT Fanart / Re: Fanart by LeventeII

I like the representation of Mo's family, good job! I wonder what they would do with that ammonite, perhaps an underwater game equivalent to kicking around a pine cone just like the seven main characters, which is similar to soccer. Cute seahorse, by the way. Once it catches your attention, you just can't help but look at it only. Hmm... an outlier in the picture! Interesting!

On the topic of making mistakes, it's very frustrating for me when I make a dumb mistake on multiple choice questions and don't notice, such as circling the wrong answer by accident or carelessly glossing over content too quickly. Also, don't you hate when you 2nd guess your answer and it turns out the first answer was right? And in Math, well one tiny miscalculation or misstep is enough to throw you off completely, which is bad for multiple choice but a bit better in short answer as you get partial credit. But anyways, I'm very much improved on the things I've mentioned. Although, it's still very difficult to prevent ONE mistake from happening, as they're still common occurrences on my assessments. Trying my best is what I always strive for though! :)

My thought for today is: School is really pounding us hard on our first week back, 2 tests on Friday and 2 quizzes in the same week + an ode due on Friday. Hmm.

Art Garfunkel - Bright Eyes (as played in the Watership Down movie!)

My thought for today is well... it's exciting that I got my LBT complete collection today! I will still start watching the movies soon, not sure when. I also got a book titled Watership Down by Richard Adams. Well, I'm going to start reading tonight before I go to bed, and little by little each night. I know this book will not disappoint! :)

Character Showcase / Re: Ducky Showcase - April 2019

I concur with the assessment of Ducky that OwlsCantRead said. Yep yep yep! She has that aura, charisma and charm with her that could really influence many people with positive thoughts. :D She could really brighten up anyone's day! Her heart is as powerful as the burning mountain and the bright circle. Yellow is the perfect color for her that matches the personality. Also, that style of dialect she uses is rubbing off of me, sometimes I reference it in real life. Yep yep yep! Funnily enough, I love to be such a realist or pessimist in real life. I always see the negative before the positive, or maybe I just enjoy it? :P Don't worry, I still try to be optimistic.

The Party Room / Re: How's the Weather?
« on: April 29, 2019, 09:08:43 PM »

Last week was moderately warm for the most part. Yesterday we had an unexpected snowfall and thus it was a colder day out. The snow is already melting, but it's still fairly cool today.

Ah yes, snow. On Long Island where I reside, it seemed like in the 2017-2018 winter season, it kept snowing so much every month. December, January (where we had one blizzard), February, March, and even a Winter Weather Advisory on April 2nd with Snow! The 2016-2017 season was much the same, except no April snow and the blizzard occurred in February. But wow! Contrast that to 2018-2019 winter, where we had barely anything at all, but then it suddenly starts snowing in March, I mean uh... what? It wasn't much either anyway, probably like ~6-8 inches for the season.

I know you said you're unemployed at the moment, but I'm curious as to what your dream career is, the job that you would love to have? Also, do you have any plans on moving anywhere or is Canada your permanent residence for the long term?

Maggie Reilly - Everytime We Touch
You probably know Cascada's version of it, which everyone would, but Maggie Reilly's version is the original.
