With Happy Feet 2 in 3D coming out this year, I thought I'd might as well start a topic about it since I saw three other people in '2011 movies that you want to see' topic.

With the death of Brittany Murphy last year, the character of Gloria has been recast with Pink performing her singing voice:
A synopis of the movie was also released late last year:
The sequel to the Academy Award-winning animated smash hit, "Happy Feet 2" returns audiences to the magnificent landscape of Antarctica, reuniting us with the world's most famous tap-dancing penguin, Mumble (Elijah Wood), the love of his life, Gloria (Alecia Moore - Pink) and their old friends RamÛn and Lovelace (Robin Williams). Mumble and Gloria now have a son of their own, Erik (Elizabeth Daily), who is struggling to find his own particular talents in the Emperor Penguin world. But new dangers are threatening the penguin nation, and it's going to take everyone working-and dancing-together to save them.
Elizabeth Daily is voicing the son of Mumble and Gloria, who is named Erik, and this was revealed by Elijah Wood in an interview.

Truth be told I never was a fan of happy feet but I've read the summary and it sounds interesting.

From what I have found about the movie; its been filming since 2006, and was put on a major hold back because of Brittany Murphy's death, it was supposed to come in last year, but production was stopped, so they had to set Nov. 18, 2011 as the release date.
