Every anime fan will more than likely know about this show.  Or else they probably wouldn't be considered anime fans at all. :p  Without Astro Boy anime probably wouldn't have gained popularity in western culture at all.  My favorite versions of Astro Boy would be the original series from the 1960s and the newest remake from 2003.  God I would kill for the original Mighty Atom manga that came out in 1952.

I've only seen the pilot, assume it's the 60's since it was black and white, and liked what I saw.  I've no knowledge of any other versions.

Anyway I have heard of Astro Boy, but only years after first getting into anime in the first place.

I've seen some episodes of Astro Boy before and I liked what I saw, it reminds me of MegaMan but it has its own charm. I would love to see the entire 1960 and 2003 series.

Although for actual Astro Boy fanatics, the real challenge for them would be to find and watch the ORIGINAL black and white series. All 192 episodes of them. XD
