Got any upcoming films you're excited about? Come in here to talk about them!

I got a few, such as:

The Hobbit (2013?). I've heard about a film adaptation of The Hobbit ever since Return of the King came out. The story is awesome to begin with, so I was really excited. For one thing, we'll finally get a proper dragon in the LOTR series (as opposed to a firework one, or a fell-beast)! And with Jackson directing again, we can't go wrong. As long as it's better than the Rankin Bass version, it'll be great.

The Invisible Man (2012). I just heard about this one today, and I'm already stoked for it. I looked at the original story of it, and it was a pretty cool read, so to see a modern make of it should be pretty awesome. All the more awesome, because it's got the screenwriter for the new Batman Movies in on it, as well as David "Dr Who" Tennant playing the Invisible Man! Now that's gonna be awesome, because as any Dr Who fan will know, that guy can SERIOUSLY act!

Godzilla (2012). Hearing about this nearly made me crap myself. I've been a huge fan of Godzilla for quite a long time (though I hated the Roland Emmerich 1998 film, which basically removed all of Godzilla's iconic traits), and I've watched them when I could, either on the net, or importing the DVDs. So the thought of an American-produced No doubt it'll be CGI, as opposed to guy-in-rubber-suit, but as long as they keep the iconic look and traits of Godzilla, I'll be plenty satisfied. It also has the new Batman movies' screenwrriter on board, the director has done some good films before (and unlike Emmerich, has actually SEEN a Godzilla movie before), and one of the producers is an ex-Godzilla-director. So, we're in good hands.

A new Godzilla!

I hope he is nothing like Zilla. Are there any concept arts of the new Godzilla?

As for new movies I would like to see:
Night of the Living Dead remake: Love the series!
Smurfs: I love the Smurfs!

The Hobbit: I wonder why they didn't make this movie first.
Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows: I enjoyed the first movie and I like the books.

2. Rio (2011) - August 2, 2011 (coudln't catch it in theatres, so I'm waiting for DVD)

3. Happy Feet 2 in 3D (2011) - November 18, 2011

4. Night of the Living Dead: Origins 3D (2011)

5. Night of the Living Dead (2012) - October 31, 2012

6. Max Brooks' World War Z(ombie) (2012)

7. Ice Age: Continental Drift (2012) - July 13, 2012 (probably'll only watch it once)

8. Jeepers Creepers 3 (2013) - It was supposed to come out late this year, but MGM went chapter 11 bankrupt, and its been moved back two years now that they are out of it.

9. The Descent part 3 (2013?)

10. Day of the Dead 3: Epidemic (2013)

11. Max Brooks' The Zombie Survival Guide (2014)

12. Max Brooks' The Zombie Survival Guide: Recorded Events (2015/2016?)

13. More Brains! A Return to the Living Dead (????)

14. Final Destination 6 (????)- This will happen if FD5 does good

15. Final Destination 7 (????)- This will happen if FD5 does good

16. Dawn of the Dead: The Series (????)- These has been in production since last year. I'm assuming it'll come out in 2013.

EDIT:
17. Army of the Dead (2012) - Its a direct sequel to the 2004 remake of Dawn of the Dead, made by the same film crew and stuido as the first.

18. Dawn of the Dead 2 (????) - a direct sequel to the 1978 movie.

I may post more later, but these are all I can remember and find for right now.

I know. That design for Zilla sucked big time. You have no idea how satisfying I found it when Godzilla killed him (in the shortest fight of the movie, no less) in Finall Wars.

And Zilla was sad in Final Wars. One shot from Godzilla's beam and he was done. Good thing though. This one looks good. It better not be in 3D or I'm gonna be

the reason why the Hobbit didn;t get made first was the right were held by tolkeins family, and it wasn't until after LOTR became a huge hit that they agreed to let a Hobbit film be made..

I'm wanting there to be a second Rio and I haven't even seen the first one yet.

Gee it's really sad that they're running out of ideas for new movies. Hence the reason why we're seeing a ton of sequels and remakes being made here. And let's add to the remake list. Birds the Alfred Hitchcock Horror Movie is being remade. And I just looked it up. Yes they're making a remake to Jaws the 1975 movie. It's still up in the air. It's gonna be a horrible 3D remake it's what I just heard.

I doubt that Alpha and Omega will be getting a sequel. It was only a mild commercial success, and was a critical flop too.

Still, I have heard good things about an upcoming American film based on the Death Note manga. That could be exciting. No clues about directors or actors, but my choice would be Zac Efron to play Light Yagami. he just looks exactly like him, and he can act too; plus, it'd be interesting to see him as a villain-protagonist.

I doubt they will do TS4, 3 ended things perfectly in my view.. a 4th film will be just milking the franchise..
