Its a folder where Windows stores a sort of startup value for programs that you use the most often. It doesn't really do anything useful, and it won't slow down program startup....it just kind of sits there and waits in case you decide to run a program in its memory.

Oh dear! I just ran into a problem. I uninstalled all 4 programs (They also provided a thing called Performance Center to keep track of it all.) and the little icons on the bottom right next to the clock that represent them are still there.

WTF? Are the programs still there? How do I remove them?

Oh, and you want to know the most interesting thing about these 4 programs? They were all under 3 MB.

EDIT: Never mind! I had just forgotten to restart my computer to remove them. Stupid me!
