So @StardustSoldier's current Ichy profile picture made me think of the Ichy & Dil sharpbeak/bellydragger duo in LBT4, and it is now when I'm sitting in front of my computer without my glasses that I correlate Dil's blurry eyesight to my pathetic myopic self and thought that this would be a fun party question to ask.

How bad is everyone's eyesight, eh? :thinking And who are the ones with perfect eyesight so I can get jealous at them? x(cera

For starters, I'm currently 325 degrees myopic in my left eye, 350 on my right. Can't focus on small font a mere arm's length away from my eyes, alas.
Would it be possible for swimmers and flyers to get more love around here? Both figuratively… and literally.

I don't know much about the degree myopic, but I guess I have always had a good eyesight as I haven't had the need for glasses or contact lens like ever. I can see pretty far just fine, but that's literally the best explanation I can give. :p

Well, if you never seen an ophthalmologist/eye doctor before you probably wouldn't have been diagnosed a degree. They usually come out after eye tests, so if you have no need for glasses/contacts and aren't short/far-sighted you're good.

Also me jealous. Me very very jealous. :(petrie

I dont really know what those numbers mean, but prior to having my laser surgery my eyes were at -2 (right) and -1 (left). Not too bad, could get around without glasses/lenses though I had to wear them while driving. Dunno where I am at these days but I have near-perfect vision thanks to LASIK.

Yeah, I really had no clue what that meant, but I am certain that if there was something wrong with my eyesight, numerous doctors would have told me about it. My last physical examination was about two months ago, and all the essential topics about my health proved to be fine. Also, no need to be jealous. :) When I was younger, I actually thought about what life would be like if I had glasses. The only ones in my family with glasses are my two uncles and my grandmother, which is very much understandable concerning her age.

That's about where I am as well, although I'm not sure of the exact numbers. I've worn glasses pretty much my entire life.

I don't even remember what the numbers are for me haha. I just know that I'm near sighted and have been wearing glasses for a little over a decade.

Apparently upon looking it up my eye doctor use the common terms here, but it's known through dioptre units elsewhere. :P In which case, mine would be -3.25 (left), and -3.5 (right). :P

LASIK surgery? Wow, that's neat. :duckyhappy
