Happy Birthday Mr Thicknose

Happy 82nd Birthday to Robert Guillaume, the original voice of our favorite pachyrhinosaurus, Mr Thicknose.

Would you believe the first time I watched LBT 8 I kept wondering "Who's the voice?" My dad caught on. "That's Benson!" For those unaware, Guillaume played Benson on the old 70's TV sitcom Soap then starred in the spin-off.

Think I'll watch LBT 8 tonight.

82 huh? Well, that's getting quite up there in age for a man. Hope he lives a long and happy life. I really do like Mr. Thicknose's voice.

The only reason I know Guillame is because I hear his voice as Eli Vance everytime I play Half-Life 2. His voice fits PERFECTLY with the character.

He's also the portrayer of TLK's Rafiki, my favorite Lion King character

. He had a stroke not long after the release of TLK 2, and he totally rebounded from the effects and was back to acting within three weeks, I believe :blink:.

Yeah as CT mentioned he is also the voice of Rafiki..another one of my favourite films.

I'm glad that an amazing talented voice actor such as Mr Guillaume is still around.

Although I'm slightly late, happy birthday Mr Guillaume may you have many more to come.
