*high fives Starfall*  Hell yes!  Pretty much the same here.  :p  I have 3 (rented XL before...can't find it to buy a copy now and don't wanna order online.  heh), 4, 4:XL, 4:Empires, 5, and 5:XL.  I heard 5:Empires was barely better than 4, so I opted for XL instead.  May pick it up in the future, though.  Orochi is the only SW game I own, though I rented SW2:Empires and I LOVED it.  I wanna get that one to.  ^._.^

On Orochi, I have ALL the abilities maxed out, like 25 Characters at lvl 99 with completely maxed out 4th weapons and personal items and still working on it.  :p

Am I the only fan of a game who puts you in the middle of a war on a battlefield and lets you fight your way through an entire army?  ^._.^

*nods*  I, personally, believe the dinosaurs to birds theory.

It's in the hips.  :p  Ornithischians are bird-hipped dinosaurs.  It's a widely believed theory (compared to any other single theory) that there is a lot of evidence to show that Dinosaurs evolved into birds.  The discovery of both markings on bone where feathers attatched and actual follil imprints of bone on a few more recent discoveries are widely believed to support this theory.  As are the gradual lightening of bone density - something else some use to explain away all those holes in dinosaur bones.

I can't deny having dreamt of the same thing in my youth.  Hell, the thought still crops up in the back of my skull from time to time.  But I'd have to agree with Malte on one thing:  If there were dinosaurs around, they would likely have been discovered by now due to the sphistication and sheer resolution of some of those satelites in orbit.

Granted, there are still areas that are unexplored, covered by thick jungles that would obscure visibility from space, but the bigger dinosaurs would not be able to hide in vegetation this thick.  Although I disagree with you on one point, Malte.

There were plenty of dinosaurs who were small enough to hide in such environments.  Compsognathus, Coelophysis, Leallynosaura, Micropachycephalosaurus...possibly even one up to the size of a Minmi.  The towering hulking lumbering giants of the Age of Dinosaurs were actually a minority...

Well, as I releaved in a previous post, I am a furry.  Technically a scalie, though, as my fursona is an anthro sauropod.  My favorite color is purple, and I worked that into my fursona (named Dino Thunderlung) by giving him a lavender underpelly with a darker purple back, though he has a deep red patterned through his back as well.

It was actually Arrogantrex who pointed out the similarity to Littlefoot.  :p  And then not too long after that, he pointed me here.  I thought about coming up with a littlefoot oriented name, and indee probably would have had it not been for people like Littlefoot Fan and Petrie who showed me that there are a few here who have fallen into the trend of using the gang for their names.  Well, being the trend breaker that I am, I decided I didn't want to do that, but I still wanted something that anyone who found out about Dino could understand.  Purple Presence just seemed to fit.  ^._.^

The Party Room / The False Facts Game
« on: February 04, 2008, 10:17:24 AM »
1.) I own all three Jurassic Park movies, but only 2 in a boxed set.
2.) I do not own a single LBT movie on DVD.
3.) I played the tuba and then later the sousaphone in my high school band.
4.) I have a brother who is 7 years older than me.

Okay.  I'll answer in the order they were chose.

I honestly don't own a single LBT movie on DVD.  >.<  The only one I've really seen from beginning to end is the first one.  heh.  And have it on VHS around here somewhere...But I've not a single one on DVD.  :(

I really did play the tuba in my high school band.  I still have the mouthpiece!  And when I started Marching band, they upgraded me to the sousaphone, since it's just a tuba that wraps around the body.  So much easier to carry around that way.

I got the JP boxed set of the first two moves before the third one came out.  Naturally, when the third one DID release, I had to go get it.  So I DO have all three movies, just only 2 in a boxed set.  :p

It's #4 that's false.  I DO have a sibling who is 7 years my senior, but it's a sister, not a brother.  I don't have a brother at all.

LBTlover!  Your turn.

Littlefoot:  And nice flat teeth too, good for grinding loud-mouthed flyers!

That is true, actually.  When I was in the....6th grade, I broke my left foot in five places.  Landed so completely on the toes of that foot with such force that the whole foot bent neatly in half.  I felt the toes touch the back of my heel.  ._.  And then the other one was chopped up in a riding lawnmower.  Heh.  I was riding on the hood when the dumbass who was driving decided to mow a path through a steep ditch and I fell off.  >_>

You are way too modest.  >_>  You chose perfectly which songs to put where.  It was good enough to make the whole school laugh and cry when you wanted them to!  You know a good rhythm when you hear it and what kind of response it will elicit.  :p
