Sukki yawned a bit,  looking between Nicula  and Aaron. "...Aaron!  I don't know his other name, so call him Aaron Akiyama.  then he's like my brother! "

Sukki oooh'd, nodding at Dru Essa's explanation. " Yes, I always see Khajiits  on the roads, with big carts and everything! " she then paused at her question, and thought about it. "Mmm... Me? I am…from… Somewhere… " She looked a bit confused, as if she wasn't sure of the answer. "but I grew up in Brug Orn!"

 she glanced over at Aaron. " But the fish man got angry with me and the guards locked me in a room! But Aaron let me out again!  Then he invited me to come with him! And here I am,  Meow! "

"  Don't Worry! "  Sukki chirped, as she trailed after the group. " I will definitely betray you! You can count on meow! … Me!"   she swallowed down the extra apple she'd been holding, then yawned big and wide. " So… We are friends now? "

 This all happened so fast, it confused her  a bit, but looks like she was supposed to follow someone new now. "  You all sure seem nicer than  Aaron! His face is always so serious, like this, " and she lifted her fingers to her eyes and made a ridiculous devilish expression, which of course l looked nothing like Aaron, as she stuck her tongue out in a fake  snarl.

Her voice quieted down to a near-whisper, primarily speaking to Chaka,  but it wouldn't be hard to overhear her. " And I think he might have a problem, meow... He thinks he's a ferret! But I'll look after him…!"

Sukki shows a thoughtful frown at the offer. "but these are my apples! " She said, looking down at her horde… " but I'l trade them for some fish, meow! " the feline looked over at Aaron, lolling her tongue out at him. " But the meerkat likes gold! He's always looking for gold and shiny things!  He gets them from people's pockets! "

Unfortunately for Aaron, that may not prove as simple as he thought. The sound of rustling and the clicks and cracks of snapping twigs from his would-be partner nearby, rapidly escalated and, with a yelp, Sukki came  tumbling down through the branches, the sound of a dozen apples  hitting the ground and rolling away, and a loud "UFF"  as the cat landed rather unceremoniously on her back.

Followed by  A downpour of shiny red apples, and  another shriek  as the tree expelled all of its fruit, the apples falling to the ground like scores of bouncy balls, one after the other they fell, some rolling away, some serving to pile up high into a rough pyramid and comically burying the cat in their mass.

How on earth did so many apples fall from a single tree? ...It was a magical apple tree! ...Yeah, let's go with that.

The cat smiled, a smile so full of blinding white, sparkly teeth, which could probably light the way in the dark. " Sped up? See, you can be fast when you want to! " She retracted her hands, and instead placed behind her head, elbows pointing out to her left and right, as she began to march casually after him.

"Are we getting something to eat? I'm hungry, mm...meow. When can we eat? What do meerkats like to eat? They're like cats, so they must like fish! Yes? Raw and wriggling fresh fish!  let's find a river!  Or a fish man! Are you listening, Meow?"

The cat frowned, looking offended! " Sukki doesn't stomp! You just have super hearing! " Her head returned to a more natural position, and she began to walk over to him. " You could be a Hunter like me! That's much more fun than the boring place you're going! So come with me! " She clasped her hands behind her back and leaned forward with a smile, and raised brows. " Well? The cat and the meerkat! We'll be like the Three Musketeers! Fighting for juices and honour! "

She pauses… " Oh… That's a hero, not a Hunter. I think. " She looked at him carefully. " You're too small and skinny to be a hero, I think... "

Rustle rustle…rustle rustle... The sound of a leafy shrub behind him being disturbed a couple of seconds after Aaron called out. and after that, a   thin figure stepped out of the bushes,  a harsh contrast of  bright red and Snowy white. The feline had a  toothy griiinnnn on her face as her tail raised in the air behind her, swishing about with enthusiasm. She placed her bare feet together and performed some poor imitation of a military salute.

" You found me, meow! " She spoke in a cheerful, singsong voice, either completely oblivious to, or completely un-intimidated by, the dangerous weapons presented before her. her voice somehow managed to be soft, and yet loud at the same time. " I thought I was really  quiet that time! you have big ears! "

 The childish snigger that followed serve to emphasise the childish demeanour of the young adult before Aaron, indeed she looked a lot older than she sounded,  she was at least in her late teens. the young woman, or girl, depending on your perspective, was a humanoid cat. one might mistake her for a Khajiit, if not for the fact that her  p fur was monochrome white. A big, scruffy mess of hair  sat upon her head,  spiky, loose, and reaching to about her neck and shoulders. in fact,  her entire appearance was a mess. Scruffy, unkempt fur, and a one-piece red  garment  which looked like it would have been once a beautiful, expensive Asian Qipao dress,  was now a shadow of its former self, the  material torn  and ripped all over,  the white floral pattern faded  into obscurity, and the brilliant silky shine marred by scuffs and grazes.

 Either she was  an extremely enthusiastic explorer,or much more likely she was a homeless wanderer. If one was able to look past her terrible dishevelled appearance, they would see a  happy face, with  big, bright golden eyes and  a scar- shaped  streak of black  fur striking across her left eye. Her red dress was sleeveless, and two drapes of long flowing material were set  in front of and behind  her legs, reaching below knee level. So her arms, legs and feet were pretty much somewhat visible at all times. at first glance, she may seem feeble, thin and lithe,  but to those with good eyes, the presence of a subtle hint of  developed muscle tone in her thighs  suggest there was more to her than might first appear.

She stood straight with her feet spread apart  as she held her  cheesy salute. " Now it's your turn to hide,  Meow!  Go!"

Sukki followed Eric's gaze as he spoke...and a surprised look fell onto her face. "You're from the moon, meow?!"

She jumped as someone else exited the house. For a second, she seemed ready to run again - until the man spoke to Eric like they knew each other. She decided to remain quiet for the time being, and waited for his response...

Eric smiled and nodded.
"Nice to meet you."
He said politely...

Sukki wasn't sure what to say...she took another nervous bite of her bread loaf. "Hi...umm...I'm Sukki, meow!" she looked passed Eric at the house he had just left. "Is that your house...?"
