The universe is a vast and mysterious place, and it works in ways we couldn't possibly imagine. Dimensions are not just part of the human theory, but actually exist in worlds much like our own, interconnected by many portals scattered in the most unexpecting of places. In some dimensions, there are no humans and instead there are cars to take their place; there are toys that are actually alive and go about their secret lives whenever their human is not around to see them; there are talking animals from bugs to fishes to rats who live amongst the humans in their own little societies. There are even monsters that make a living off of humans themselves.
And in one twist of fate, these individual beings, normally seperated without knowledge of each other's existance, will meet face to face. This would end in new friends or new enemies, bring about conflicts and resolutions never experienced before. And it each starts with one incidental discovery.

"Thumper!!!"
Said grasshopper looked up from his digging, breaths frantic as he looked back in the direction of call. Hopper was looking for him, no doubt with a leash at hand. Thumper did not like his leash, or any form of restraint really and he grunted as he returned to his digging. Not too long ago, he picked up a peculiar smell from this very spot and was making it his goal to find out what it is.
"THUMPER!!!!" Hopper growled as he came in view and approached his pet.
Just at that second, the insane little insect felt the ground give way underneath his feet and before he could even snap open his wings, he fell and landed inside a tunnel with a shriek, his owner falling beside him. After a moment, the cave in settled and the two grasshoppers stepped out of the rubble, Hopper brushing himself clean as his pet merely shook off the dirt. The head insect then glared at his pet, the leash he was holding now gone under the rubble.
"When I call for you, you come. Understand?" he said firmly.
Thumper barked in response before giving a nod, vaguely thankful that he's practically the only one immune to Hopper's more violent quirks. His owner then looked back at the cave in, which was blocking their only way back up. As he contemplated how to get back up, Thumper wandered deeper into the tunnel, perking his antennae as he noticed fresh air. Hissing at this discovery, he shrieked for his owner's attention. Hopper snapped his gaze to his pet before walking over, looking deeper into the tunnel and noticing the fresh air too.
"Good boy, Thumper." he said gruffly before going off for their certain exit, the feral grasshopper following as they reached the end and went outside and......
This did NOT look like the right place. There was a house here, with a white fence stretching as far as the two bugs can see. There were toys standing over the bright green grass and a giant (to them) human girl was playing with the toys happily before being called inside. Unsure where they were, Hopper flew off for a better vantage point, Thumper loyally following, before Hopper landed on a blue Triceratops toy and Thumper landed on the nearby cowgirl toy.

excuse me sir, but could you kindly get off of me? the blue triceratops said ' i would be much obliged. she said with a smile.. ' this isn't the first time somone's landed on me in an awkward position though.. i remembers bonnies christmas party and rex and i were placed under the mistletoe and bonnie left..' the triceratops blushed.

Mater looked at the junkyard where all the imprisoned cars were held until court.
"I done a good job..." he sighed as he looked at the newly cleaned place. It looked so clean he could eat off of it. Since his intellegance was...average, that last statement gave him an idea. He grinned deviously as he picked his tires up and slowly, one by one, went to a nearby oil can and drove beside it carefully. Then, he drove just a little bit on his side and slammed his side into the can, responding in a huge black mess dripping everywhere.
"Opps..." he whispered sarcastically and drove around to what he thought was a good spot where a rather large puddle resigned and stuck his tongue out and was about to dip it in when...
"Mater!" a gruff voice exclaimed as an old-looking police car drove up to him.
He looked at the car and quickly stuck his tongue back into his front. "Uh...well, howdy, Chief! What brings you here?" he asked nervously.
"Mater, what are you doing?" came the gruff reply.
"Well, I was just uh..." Mater searched despretly for a response. Then , his brained hatched an idea. "Cleanin' up!" he said quickly, although it wasn't exactly a lie.
"Are you sure...because this place looks-"
"I, uh, bumped inta that. Clumsy ole me...well, you better get going Chief! Criminals to catch and uh, all that...policy...uh...stuff!" he said then let out a big grin with his teeth showing.
"O...kay..." Cheif said, and then drove off with a suspicious look in his eyes.
Mater held the grin until the gruff car disappeared from sight, then he let it go with a big sigh. "Phew...now...Oh! I just rememberd, I gotta get some of that energy drink, or whatever, from that hippietruck!" he grinned, then started to drive down the road, when a blue orb opened up before him. "What the..." he wondered as he drove into it. Then the orb disappeared with the Tow Truck.

"Trixie? Would you kindly shut up, and get offa me?" Jesse said, straning to get out from under the blue Triceratops.

Sorry jesse. By the by how are you and woody getting along now the bonnie got the LADY Space Ranger doll, " Trixie said slowly getting off of her..

"Thanks a bunch, Trixie!" Jesse exclaimed, getting up quickly and brushing herself off. "Me and Woody...me and Woody..." she said, crossing her arms and tapping her foot in thought. "Well, we're just friends," she smiled.

To say both Hopper and Thumper were surprised that the surfaces under their feet were moving and talking was an understatement. Thumper screeched bloody murder as he jumped off the now free cowgirl, landing before both of the toys and shrieking at them with wings flared, 'protecting' his Master. Hopper tried to keep his balance on the blue Triceratops before flying off to land beside his pet, glaring up at the toys as they had their conversation.

well so are me and rex ' tricxie began as a large green T-rex cam,e up to them ' hi girls.. good to se that bonnies gone inside for lunch.. say who are these two newcomers " Rex asaked as he looked at Thumper and Hopper..

"...good question there, Rex. Now, easy...easy..." she said, trying to calm the bug down, but only resulting in him screeching at her loudly. "AHHH! she shrieked and ran behind the two toy Dinosaurs.

Thumper continued to shrilly shriek at the toys. Sensing fear in the cowgirl, he was just about to launch himself at her and claw her eyes out when Hopper spoke up.
"Thumper, down."
Reluctantly, the psycho bug quieted his screaming to a low growl, still fidgetting and glaring, just waiting for Hopper to give the order to attack. The lead grasshopper kept up his own glare for another moment before answering Rex's question.
"Name's Hopper." he replied in his usual gruff manner. He patted the other grasshopper's head. "This is my trained-to-kill pet, Thumper." He narrowed all four eyelids. "Now who are all of you?" That was more of a demand than a question really......

I'm Trixie and this is Rex ": trixie said " We;re Bonnies toys Would you like to come in? Rex offered " This is Jessie.. theres more toys inside.. they're our friends" Rex added.
we're sorry but you landed on top of me..

Jesse lifted her hand up and waved at the bugs, but another screech from Thumper made her duck back down a little bit. She found the courage to face the bug peeked out from behind rex and asked, "Is he always like this?"

Hopper thought about their offer to come inside for a moment before deciding that they really had no other place to go. The tunnel back home was blocked and maybe one of these toys knew the way back home. He nodded curtly before looking to Jesse and answering her question with a menacing smirk.
"This is when he's calm. But if you want, I can snap my fingers and allow him to reveal his true self." he threatened, lifting both his right arms, ready to snap his fingers.
Thumper was very eager for his master to give the commanding click of the fingers, so he can launch a merciless attack on the frightened toy. Breathing heavily, he flared his wings and got ready to pounce at an instant's notice.

"No thanks!" Jesse denied his offer quickly, then thought up a nice... comeback. "Well, are you always like this? Your so...how should I put this..open..." she said, coming out from behind Rex and started to twirl around Hopper with a sassy look in her eyes. She wasn't afraid of any old Bug.

Hopper narrowed his eyes, which followed Jesse's twirling in irritation. His patience was running thin and he was practically one second away from giving the order to 'put her in her place'.
Thumper's growls were quickly escalading to more threatening shrieks, wanting sooooooo badly to rip her face open, but forced to keep himself in check, lest he disobey's Hopper again.

"Well, you can stay, just one thing...if you dare to unleash that bug," she pointed at Thumper, "on anyone here, I'll make sure you get a one-way, all expenses payed, flight in to next week! Now, good day sir!" she growled turning on her heels and strode over to the edge of the table and turned to face them, then hopped backwards into the toy box below, with a very angry face.

come on guys is that anyway to treatr a guesats trixie said asa she seeped inbetween them ' come on Mr hopper, you need to keep your pert on its leash.' ' yeah I remember when Buster was a puppy and jumped around Andy's room and completely messed up Anbdy's war game that he spents hours putting everything in place.. ' heh you should see how long we took to get chuckled to smile ' trixie laughed..

Filmore decided to go for a ride to enjoy some scenery around Radiator Springs. Things were going normal at first then the air seemed to twist and change with the light growing brighter.
"Woh man, this is one weird trip man." Filmore said. "Maybe if I drive it'll work its' way out of my system." he said as he decided to drive on. Soon things seemed to stabilize but the scenery looked different. He stopped to look around.
"I don't recognize this area. Maybe Doc or Flo changed things when I wasn't looking." He said.

Hopper rolled his eyes, crossing his arms. He wasn't one to take orders from anyone: he'll have his pet attack anyone he wanted and no toy was gonna say otherwise. Having Trixie speak he snorted. "I lost the leash on my way here, but Thumper's under my complete control regardless. And he'll stay 'harmless' unless you....toys give me reason to be angry."
Thumper gave a soft hiss under his breath, narrowing his eyes at the toys, but staying put, giving a small scratch on his neck and his eyes shooting about the area restlessly.

He tries any funny business and both of you will be seen the door Trixie replied " We are trying to be friendly, and show you around, and you're not be a very good guest at the moment. do you always act like this when you are with company? Trixie asked clearly more than a little irritated. Normally Trixie was a kind , caring sort, but right now, she wasn't.

"I think shes been watching to much of those cartoons again. And where did she get the giant mutant dog idea anyway. " Slinky asked.
"From some old comics. Her grandfather showed her this book that he said collected some comics he use to read when he was her age. Something called the Atomic Knights. I peeked in the book when they went to eat. They rode giant dogs. All white with black spots on them." Chomper said.

well whatever idea she thinks of, at least we get to get played with. too many old toys don't get played with' one of three peapods said from their pod.
Trixie and Rex headed up the stairs to Bonnies room.

"There is that at least." Slinky said.
"It was kinda fun, being an atomic dino knight, except the part about her using tape to keep me on you. At least it was that cheap tape." Chomper said.

Hopper rolled his eyes once more at Trixie's words and question, which he answered in false-kindness. "This is when I'm in a good mood. If you don't like it..." His false-kindness disappeared very fast to be replaced with a glare. "...tough luck." Without another word, he followed the toys to Bonnie's room, Thumper following close behind.

As Mater flew out of the orb, he saw he was somewhere that didn't even look close to the place he had been in before. "What is dis place? Sure don't look like Radiator Springs ta me?" he stated, in all honesty, it looked like a bedroom.

Ramone waited at the finish line of the dirt track that was used for races in Radiator Springs, he looked to the right as two dust clouds approached. "Aye, finally they are" he said lifting himself up a little to get a good view.
Charging down towards the finish was Ace and Boost, both tied for now unable to pass the other. "You call that naturally fast?" Boost said and laughed.
"I'm just playing tuner" Ace replied but still neither passed the other. They both passed the finish at the same time and slowed down with Ace taking just a few less feet to stop than Boost. When the got back to Ramone Ace laughed. "Ha, took less time to stop so I call that a win"
"Yeah right, we tied" Boost told him but Ace didn't seem to be listening as he began doing donuts, kicking up a cloud of dirt.
"Watch the paint man" Ramone said and was about to back away but then as the dirt enveloped him he suddenly felt as if he was floating, Ace was feeling the same thing. When the dust cleared they were gone.
"What the?!" Boost shouted in amazement and confusion.

Ramone and Ace suddenly found themselves in what looked like someone's lawn when they saw the dust clear. "Where on eart hare we?" Ace asked out loud.
"It definitely not Radiator Spirings man" Ramone asnwered.

Filmore looked around where he was, slowing down to a stop to look around. "Is this some secret part of Radiator Springs? or maybe I'm still back at home. Woa man, that could be it. Maybe I've mentally drifted up to some other realm of the mind man, yea it could be that." he said to himself. "Totally awesome, totally cool."

Susan, a metallic green tesla roadster, was driving along the road. She noticed a few clouds in the sky. A nice day overall it looked to be. As she drive along the road she made almost no sound since she was an electric type of car.
There was a wind that kicked up some dust from the side of the road, nothing unusual. Though then the wind started to pick up. She slowed. Then she heard what sounded like thunder and was that a flash or the air seeming to twist or blur. or was that fog coming in?
She slowed even more, then the whatever it was went away and she stopped since she noticed things looked totally different. Where had she gotten to? How had things changed so suddenly and totally?

Trixie was about to say something but REx gave her a look, as she kept quiet until they reached Bonnies room. The door was slightly ajar, open enough for the toys to squeeze through one at a time " the room was painted in bright, clear colors as a little girls room is supposed to look and feel. thee were toys almost everywhere

Ramone and Ace looked around some more before Ace decided it would be better to get off whoever's yard this was and get onto the road. Driving between the house and the fence there was barely enough room for him and Ramone to squeeze throught. "Who lives here, a Peel P50? That was way to small" Ace said as the got into the front lawn and looked around.
"Aye, why are they all just sitting there man? It's way to early to sleep" Ramone said looking at all the parked cars.

Chomper and Slinky dog were sitting and talking to each other. They were close to where Bonnie had left them so if they heard her coming or had warning she was they could quickly get back to where she had left them.
"Some of those funny books have mighty strange ideas." Slinky said.
"And funny things too." Chomper said.

Trixie went over to the computer to start a chat session with a bronto toy from across the city. " Don't worry rex i'm not going to say anything bad about you.. she grinned.. " Well after you chat, do you want to find the last 5 Zurg medals? we'll get 100% complete on the game, if we find them" Rex said..

Hopper walked into the room and crossed both pairs of his arms, his glaring eyes sweeping over the area. This is his first time inside a human's house and he wasn't showing if he was impressed or not. He glanced at the growling grasshopper beside him.
"Don't hurt anyone, Thumper. At least not yet." With that, he gave a wave of his hand and his insane little pet flew off to explore the place as his Master took his own little walk about the room, looking as casual and bored as can be.

Trixie chatted online for a few minutes then turned on the game console " alright Rex, lets find those last Zurg medals! You smash the crates , I'll look for crannies they might be sitting in..

Ramone drove up to a parked car and looked at it with a confused look. "Aye man, you know where we are?" he said to the car which obviously didn't respond, he then gave it a light tap with his tire to 'wake' it up only to set off it's alarm.
"Why's she screaming like that?!" Ace said to Ramone hearing the alarm.
"I dunno man, maybe scared her!" Ramone replied.

Filmore continued to drive looking around, "man, I've never had a trip like this before." He said, "Or did I take a wrong turn somewhere?" He said, continuing to drive.
He slowed when he thought he saw a familiar figure or 2. "Ramone? Man, is that you?" He asked.

"Filmore? Aye man!" Ramone said seeing the familiar vehicle and driving over to him. Ace stayed shushing the car for a little while longer before he gave up and followed Ramone to Filmore.
"She's still screaming" he said to Ramone.

As Mater was driving around her he thought he saw two familiar cars a ways away. He narrowed his eyes and saw that Ramone and Filmore were here too!
"Hey! Ramone! Filmore! Is dat you?" he called out.

"Hey folks. It is nice to see a friendly here." Filmore said. "Any idea where this place is. Since I'm starting to think it may not be a dream or a bad trip, man." Filmore said looking at those. Then he heard another familiar voice and looked over in the direction of it.
"Hey Mater, you here too?" Filmore said.

"No idea man, Ace did a burnout and when the smoke cleared we were here" Ramone said and then heard Mater's voice. "Mater, mi amigo! How'd you get here man?"
"More importantly does anyone know where here is, and none of these cars are responding" Ace said still looking at the parked cars around them.

"Sure am!" Mater answered, driving up to them. "Although I'm not entirely sure how I got 'ere though."

"I'm not sure how I got here either. major bummer, but at least we are here." Fillmore said.
Filmore looked at the other cars, "I wonder what is wrong with them. It's a major bummer having them like this, and a bit freaky ." Filmore said, wondering what was going and and was starting to get a bit freaked out.

Rex found two of the Zurg medals in areas he and trixie had overlooked. " alright We found them! He smiled " Just 3 more to go" He grinned.

Suddenly a cry came from Bonnie's toy box. "I found it!". Sheriff Woody popped over the lid, smiling and placing his hat he'd misplaced once again on his head.
"Whew that's a relief. no tellin' how many times I've...". As Wood hopped down to the floor once more the sight of their newcomers froze him.
Standing in the room was the biggest grasshopper he'd ever seen and...another odd looking grasshopper. They also looked intellegnet and not like the one's typically found in one's backyard.
"Well, uh, Howdy There" with a bit of a nervous smile, Woody tipped his hat.
"Uh...guys" he glanced to Trixie ahd Rex playing their game, "who's the...guest?".

thy are Hopper and Thumper. and they are from.. another state" Rex said " It ws at least partly true.. " and we wanted to sjhw them around. " Hopper Thumper, this is our leader Woody' Rex said pointing to the cowboy..

"Well, don't mind them, Woody, they seem to be fine trouble, if ya ask me," Jessie said, frowning.

Chomper and Slinky Dog came over to where the others were.
"Hey Woody, glad you found your hat. We looked around but didn't find it." He said, the rest of him coming along a bit after the front of him did.
"Yea, not anywhere." Chomper said nodding his head.

Woody nodded at the information he was given on the grasshoppers, including Jessie's. They didn't seem like trouble off hand but he would keep an eye out. He smiled as Slinkey and Chomper came over, "Yeah, I knew it'd show up somewhere" Woody straightened his hat, "thanks for looking though guys".

At Woody's greeting, Hopper stopped whatever he was doing, eyeing the toy with his good eye, crossing his arms as Thumper immediately came to his side and started to growl at those who began gathering. But the grasshopper leader kept his pet under control and a visible scowl came across his face as he thought: Woody, what kind of name is that?
But he just gave the cowboy and everyone else who came a dismissive wave of 'greeting', not being very hospitable as he turned a glare to Jessie, already having a feud goin' on with her!

The growling...pet...friend, whatever that other grasshopper was, made Woody back up a bit and had him a bit on edge but they still didn't do anything yet.

"I know man, they no talk to us. And this one chica just started screaming when I nudged her" Ramone said looking around at the cars.
"And they're all out on the street, plus their houses look way to small. I just don't understand" Ace added.

"Woa man that does sound bad. This place does seem a bit weird man." Filmore said looking around at what he could see and remembering what he could see before on his way here.

Susan was driving down the street. She had tried talking to a few cars but they either were not talking or were to deeply asleep or something. She also noticed they looked odd, but could not put her finger on what it was, just yet.

Trixie managed to find the last of the Zurg medals and ghugged Rex as a bonus video came on, for completing the game 100%..

When Woody backed up, Thumper lowered his growls just a bit, watching the cowboy and the rest of the toys carefully. Passing them all as non-threatening for the moment, he grunted and crouched down to all six, wings fluttering a bit in his version of a tail wag as Hopper patted his head. The lead grasshopper tore his eyes away from his rival, and turned his attention to the strange device Trixie and Rex were watching and playing with.

"Wow, looks like Trixie is happy about something." Chomper said looking over to where she and Rex were & curious what it could be about.
"Yea, it may call for a celebration or something." Slinky dog said.

Woody had an idea what might have gotten Rex and Trixie so excited. "haven't you two beat that game three times by now?" he asked, smiling though as he was just teasing a bit.

we found all the medals Woody' Rex grinned ' thats just the first gamwe' Trixie said closing the game ; now foir the sequel, we've gor 3 levels to beat on this' She laughed

After playing the second game for a bit. Trixie and rex took a break . " so whats the plan for roday going to be Woody? Rex asked.
