Aye, so I reckon the quality of schools, education, the regard paid to teachers, and better means of communication between teachers and students would be a more productive topic than the stupidity of individuals.

It's not lack of education that makes these people stupid. If you told them robbing a police station was a bad idea they'd probably have done it anyway.

Stupid people are stupid people. There's knowledge and intelligence. They're NOT the same thing. I know people who are really stupid but know a lot about the world and such. At the same time I know people who are super smart but don't know how to dance and have never been to a party. It does take all sorts to make a world.....though how those dumb people could contribute to it is beyond my reckoning.

Funny. I guess that is the sort of criminals today's education system is turning out.

I would guess it took the police that long to respond since most of them who heard likely thought and said, "WTF, an attempted robbery here?" As stupid as they seem, imagine their reputation if they do serve any time in an institution. "Hey, it's those guys who tried to rob a police station."
