Land Before Time RPG / Potential RP Discussion
« on: September 28, 2021, 05:19:59 PM »
Would any of you be interested in joining an RP playing with the age-old idea of Pterano returning to the Great Valley? I've explored the idea in the past, but I was ten years younger then and my ideas were different. But there's a lot about this character that I didn't think of back then, such as:
  • His PTSD (when someone pointed that out about him, it made my head explode. :lol  Because before Pterano, I've never seen a character actually show symptoms of PTSD. Keep in mind that this was ten years ago, I was 16 and living in a "sheltered" environment)
  • His snarkiness (something I never picked up on until recently, probably due to his melodramatic tendancies that made it hard for me to tell when he was being genuine and joking, and my autism)
  • Technically a cult survivor (I know cults aren't really a thing in TLBT, but the belief that a magical stone would give him the power to take charge of the Great Valley feels cultish to me)
  • His inability to relate to others (we see this with how he talked about the other adults when he first appeared)
  • His social awkwardness when he begins his redemption journey (Nobody's gonna go from being hubristic and insensitive to being a likeable person in a night's worth)
  • His dynamic with my oc, Devon, who is Sierra's biological son, who was emotionally, physically and psychologically abused by Sierra, who has a lot of anger issues, cusses like a sailor and is extremely anxious as a result
  • His dynamic with the Gang of Five, and what his dynamic with Ruby and Chomper would be
  • The list goes on, but these are the main ones that I can think of right now
It doesn't have to be Pterano centric, but I do want his return to be one of the key points in the RP.  Any ideas? Anyone interested? What are your thoughts?

Edit: I thought I was in the RP Discussion part of the forum, but apparently not. Can someone move this there? Or tell me how to move this thread there?

Littlefoot has just told Grandpa Longneck that Mr. Threehorn is called "Daddy Topps" and he immediately burst out laughing. Both Grandma Longneck and Littlefoot are deeply disturbed by this reaction. It turns out the head of the Great Valley Council has an... interesting sense of humor.  :lol

Hey everyone! Did ya miss me?  :lol  Anyway, I had lost interest in this forum for quite a while, but I never really left it. I've been coming back to check on it every once in a while. Since my latest discovery, it's just something I cannot hide from you guys.

It's about my stories. I remember being in middle school. I was always hated on, picked on, judged, etc. But while the kids were busy picking on me, I was busy creating something far beyond their imagination: My own world.

I was into Kung Fu Panda at the time, and I did whatever I wished with the characters. I didn't care about what was canon and what was not. But most importantly, I was lost in my own fantasies. Through that period of time, I must have written nearly forty KFP stories. While others were too busy in their lala dreams about me, I was creating something even better.

I've recently realized that had it not been for my stories, I probably wouldn't have made it through middle school. I'd most likely be dead by suicide by now. And for that, I couldn't be more thankful.

As of today, I came to another realization. Earlier this year I made a goal to reach 100 stories. I'm currently at 103.    Apparently I left out a few oneshots in one of my counts. How about that? I've reached my goal and I didn't even know it! And thus that leaves me one thing to say...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

LBT Fanfiction / Thirty Seconds
« on: March 16, 2012, 08:26:35 PM »
Heheh, I wrote a poem. :lol
-------------------------------

"If I had only thirty seconds to live,
I would spend them looking into your eyes."
I promised him long ago.
I remember the look in his beautiful sapphire eyes.
They glistened with such sweet joy.
And now, as I lay dying on the cavern floor at the old age of seventy five,
I keep that promise.

He hovers above me,
Lachrymosa filled those twinkling baby blue eyeballs of his.
Tears slowly, but steadily flowed down his cheeks.
They seemed to be as depressed as he was.

I reach up and touch his soft, black cheek.
He burried his face into my talons,
his flowing tears rubbing onto my skin.
His thermal hand rested upon mine,
entwining his talons with mine.

I pulled him down,
pressing his forehead against mine
and I kissed him tenderly on the forehead
as our beaks nuzzled.
His hot tears still flowing, but at a higher rate.
I wipe away some of the flowing tears with my talons
as my love for him began to form tears of my own.

I feel weak.
Like a crimpling leaf on the stone cold Autumn ground
I was cold, like an icy grave in the ground.
I was stiff, like a rock.
My lungs were failing me, as well as all my other internal organs.
I can hardly breathe.
It is too late for me.
I'm dying.

I knew I did not have much time left,
so I spat out my final words to him.
"Oh Devon...my sweet, sweet baby boy..."
I knew I had to make this quick.
"I love you, Devon."

My hand slipped from his teary cheek,
and fell to the cavern ground.
My eyes shut, never to be opened again.
My heart took its final beat
as I drew my final breath.
I couldn't fight anymore.

--------------------------------------------

Wow...

Well...that was  Listen to Your Heart in a nutshell.  :lol

...Poor Devon.  :cry

LBT Fanfiction / A Father's Love
« on: February 18, 2012, 02:55:43 AM »
Hey guys, heres something to make up for my absence in Under a Yellow Moon. Sorry about that. :/

----------------------------------

On a foggy, cold Christmas Eve, thirty three year old Devon was celebrating it with his wife, Meg, and his two daughters, Lunesta and Skyfire, just like almost every one in the Great Valley was doing. They were just having a good time, having snowfights and decorating their "Christmas Tree". Devon wrapped his arms around his wife, giving her a kiss to the neck. "This is the best Christmas yet, honey." he said, tightening his embrace on her.

"I'm glad you like it, Vonny." She replied, turning around to kiss him on the beak. "I'm so glad I found you." she said, wrapping her arms around his waist.

"Same here, Darling." Devon smiled, kissing her back. But the sweet, romantic moment was interrupted by another female flyer. She landed in the cave, collapsing to her knees. She was purple and elderly, and she was breathing heavily as if she flew for miles. "D-Devon! I'm so glad I found you!" Haylie panted, crawling towards the younger flyer. She clutched to him, gazing right up into his eyes.

"Mom? What is it? Are you okay?" he asked, kneeling down in front of her.
"It's your father! We were taking our annual Christmas stroll when we were ambushed. Pterano tried to fight back, but he was too sick to do so! He needs your help!"

"What?" Devon asked, in a completely shocked voice. "Ambushed? Sick? Daddy?" Right here, his voice went from shocked, to very worried. He turned to Haylie. "Where is he?"

"In the woods," she replied, still panting heavily, although calming down now.
Devon needed no further explanation. He took off to the skies, flying at his top speed to find his beloved father. Minutes seemed like hours as he couldn't spot the old flyer anywhere. It seemed that the snow had covered him up, so he had fly to a lower altitude. He eventually did find his father though. But he didn't look so good.

He was laying there, legs smothered by the snow. He was laying on his belly, showing the many scratch marks on his back. They weren't as deep as way back when Sierra nearly pounded him to death by a rock. But they were still pretty deep. His eye was as purple as Haylie, and blood spreaded on the snowy ground, indicating that Pterano was coughing out blood.

Devon was on the verge of panic, and his eyes went wide. "DAAAAAAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" He screamed out, rushing to his father's side. He took the old flyer in his arms, turning him over as he did so. Scratches and bruises covered his chest and belly as well. "Oh no! Oh Dad..." he whispered, pressing his forehead against Pterano's for a second. "I'm so sorry." Until he heard a quiet, painful moan from Pterano's beak.

Devon stood up now, taking his father onto his back. He was heavy, but Devon could handle it. He took off into the skies, although he struggled a little at first, but once he was in the air, he immediately took off for the cave.

Lets just say a few hours later and silence filled the cave. Devon sat by Pterano's side, placing a giant treestar like blanket on the unconscious flyer. His heart ached just by looking at Pterano. Seeing him like this just hurt him too much. It was like an emotional stab in the heart. He tore off a piece from the treestar blanket and pressed it on Pterano's forehead.

By now, Pterano opened his eyes half way, his vision being blurr. All he saw was a black figure above him. He blinked a few times and that black figure turned out to be Devon. He let out a few breaths, groaning in pain as he did so. "Devon?" he muttered, only to be cut off by a hand to the beak.

"Shh, don't speak, Dad." Devon said, concern filling his eyes. "You're in too much pain as it is. Just take it easy, okay?" He cupped Pterano's cheek, comforting him.
The red flyer nodded, sniffing a little. Either it was from the tears of happiness of seeing his son again, or the cold. "Where's Haylie?" he asked, getting concerned, hoping that his wife made it to safety in time.

"I'm right here, Ronnie." the female flyer replied, taking his hand. Pterano let out a sigh of relief and he gazed around. Everyone was surrounding him; Meg, Lunesta, Skyfire, Devon, and of course Haylie. He closed his eyes, slipping back into unconsciousness, and Devon couldn't take it anymore. Tears sprung out of his eyes. As relieved as he was when his beloved father managed to open his eyes, it still hurt greatly to see him in such poor conditions. So ill, so hurt, so miserable. Devon couldn't take it. He loved Pterano too much! He burst out crying, sobbing uncontrollably onto Pterano's chest.

"Oh Devon..." Meg said, placing a hand on his shoulder. She couldn't think of anything else to say or do. She knew how close he and Pterano was. And she knew what it was like to see a loved one so ill. All he could think of to do was to pat his shoulder.

About five to ten minutes pass by and Pterano opens his eyes to see his baby boy sobbing his heart out onto his chest. "Devon? Oh Devon!" he shot up, pulling Devon into a fatherly embrace. "Shhh I'm here...I'm here...shhh..." Words couldn't describe just how comforting those words were to Devon. He didn't even fight the embrace, he just clutched to the ill flyer, not giving a yap if the illness was contagious or not.

"I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! It's just, I can't lose you! I love you too much!" Devon sobbed, clutching tighter to the older flyer as if he was clutching for dear life. "I'm so sorry!"

"Devon, there's nothing to be sorry for. Absolutely nothing!" Pterano cupped his cheek, wiping away his tears. He pressed his forehead against Devon's, nuzzling him. "There's nothing wrong with crying. Illness is very scary, especially if its a fatal one."

"Why didn't I notice it sooner?" Devon whimpered.

"Devon, don't you dare tell me you're blaming yourself for something you cannot control. This was never your fault in the first place. You didn't ask for me to get sick."

"How long have you been sick?" the blue flyer asked, staring at him with red and serious eyes.

Pterano sighed, and he knew he couldn't lie to his son. "A month," he spat out silently.

"A month?" Devon's eyes widened, and then more tears began to fall. "Gee that's reassuring. Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because I didn't want to be a burden." Pterano replied, gazing into his eyes yet again. "I knew you had a family to take care of, the last thing you needed was to take care of me."

Devon pressed his forehead against Pterano's, wrapping his arms around his neck. "Dad, you could never be a burden to me. Ever! Not after all you've done for me. You're my father, and that makes you a part of my family too." He kissed his cheek to prove his point. "I know I must sound pushy, but next time, please, just tell me! And I'll do everything I can to take care of you! I'd be more than happy to! Besides, I love you way too much to see you suffer like this. It hurts! It really REALLY hurts!!! Please, just tell me if your sick or hurt, and I'll do anything! Just please promise me you'll do that from now on!"

"Of course, Devon. Of course." Pterano replied, pulling Devon back into that strong, protective embrace of his. "You'll never be left in the dark like that again, I promise."

"I love you, Dad!" Devon cried, nuzzling his father's loving shoulder.

"I love you too, my son. I'll always love you, no matter what happens." Pterano squeezed the blue flyer, letting out tears of joy. They nuzzled eachother's cheeks, tears mixing into tiny puddles of love. They fell back onto the cavern floor, embracing, snuggling, and sinking deeply into eachother.

Surprise! The wait is finally over! Here is the introduction of Under a Yellow Moon!  :DD

----------------------------------------

Introduction: Scary Stories

On a cool, starry, autumn night in the Great Valley, not a creature was stirring, except of course for a certain red flyer and a group of young dinosaurs surrounding a bright crack in the ground, which is what dinosaurs would use for a "camp fire".

"I was lurking through the woods with my broken wing all alone on a cold, moonless night. I was separated from my family and tried my absolute best to find them again. With the rattling in the bushes everywhere I turned, sleep was not possible." Pterano said in his smoothest yet creepiest voice, flapping his wings to emphasize his point.  "All of a sudden, a loud screetch could be heard for miles and I jumped into the bush to hide. More rattling of the bushes took place and out jumped," he paused for affect. "The Hidden Runner!" Instead of gasping in horror like most children would do, these children only bursted out laughing; Littlefoot, Cera Ducky, Petrie, Spike, Ruby, Chomper and Devon. The only one who didn't laugh was a blue glider named Guido, who hid behind a log in fear.

"The Hidden Runner?" Cera said, giggling. "I hate to break it to ya, Pterano, but we've already seen the Hidden Runner. And he wasn't scary at all!"

"He wasn't?" Pterano questioned, raising an eyebrow.

"No! He was more scared of us than we were of him."

"Really? That's not how I remember it. He was fierce and he tried to kill me!"

"What did he look like?" Littlefoot asked, stepping up to the red flyer.

"Well, I couldn't really tell. It was pitch black you know. I couldn't see anything except a dark shadow."

"Wait! Hold on a second there, guys." Guido said, standing up on his feet and holding his arms up. "Just what the tail is the Hidden Runner!"

"The Hidden Runner is a fast runner that lurks in the woods at night." Ruby replied as Guido nodded in responce, getting the picture.

"So what did this "Hidden Runner" of yours do anyway?" Pterano asked, rolling his eyes.

"He screetched loudly and ran away." Ducky replied, chuckling in amusement.

"Huh. Sounds more like a nervous fast runner to me. Even Devon has seen something scarier than that. Right Devon?" Pterano checked the surroundings. Ruby, Guido, Ducky, Petrie, Cera, Littlefoot, Chomper and Spike was all surrounding him, staring at him with confused looks. But no sign of Devon. "Where's Devon?"

"I dunno. Maybe he was eaten by the Hidden Runner." Cera said sarcastically, rolling her eyes.

"This is serious! My Devon wouldn't run off like that!" the red flyer exclaimed, not enjoying Cera's humor at all and giving her a serious look.

"Relax, Pterano! I'm sure he went to bed or something."

"Well I know he would tell us before he would do so." The red flyer sighed, trying not to get scared and yet, he was smirking, though unnoticed by the gang. "Okay, Devon. Very funny! You can come out now!"

They searched the bushes, the trees, boulders, anything that surrounded them and still no sign of the blue flyer. "Well looks like he's gone to bed, Pterano." Cera said. "Nothing to worry about." Just then...crack. The gang snapped their heads up, trying to figure out what had made that crack. There wasn't a stick around them and no one was standing near one. They shrugged, letting go of the subject.

Crack.

They all snapped their heads up again. "Okay, very funny Pterano." Cera rolled her eyes again.

"What?" Pterano asked, putting his claws up in confusion, having no idea what the threehorn was talking about.

Crack.

"You can cut the act now. Jokes over." the threehorn spoke again, obviously not falling for the "trick".

"Cera, I hate to break it to you, but how can that be me when the cracking is coming from right behind you!?!" He stopped there, eyes going wide. He didn't like the sound of that. As if things couldn't get creepier.

Crack!

That one didn't come from behind Cera, but behind Pterano himself. The gang's eyes grew wide, fear going through their veins. "What? What is it?" Pterano asked, as he noticed that they were either looking right at him...or behind him.

"Pterano! Behind you!" Cera warned as she noticed that the shadow behind Pterano began to grow larger and larder until...

"BAAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!"

Okay, from now on, I decided to separate my oneshots into different  threads...starting with Listen to Your Heart. No one's left a review for this oneshot and I think it's because they could've thought I've been leaving replies to my reviewers and that they'd probably rather read the oneshot. I figured that if I did, I might get more feedback.  :DD I hope I'm right.

--------------------------------------

Listen to Your Heart

On one rainy night, safe in the Great Valley, a certain blue flyer watched as the rain poured hard on the landscape. Devon sighed, as he hoped and prayed that his beloved father would be okay. The last few weeks have been hard on them both, as Pterano came down with a sickness that very few dinosaurs survive. He couldn't believe that its been seventeen years. Seventeen years since they first met, twelve years ago that they became father and son. He couldn't believe at how far he and Pterano have gotten since then. They first started as acquaintences, friends, best friends, and finally, father and son. And it has changed Devon's life, as if some miracle had happened.

He remembered when his biological father, the one who he doesn't even consider a father anymore, had killed his girlfriend and he thought he'd never find anyone like her. But then he met Meg, who quickly became the new girl of his dreams. Eventually they ended up marrying and had a couple of daughters, with a son that have yet to hatch. Yeah, he started a new family, but there was absolutely NO way that he could have done it without Pterano by his side. He literally felt as if he couldn't have done ANYTHING without Pterano by his side.

Even though he has started a family of his own, and found his own cave to raise his family in, Devon felt like he could never live up to his father. Ever. Even after Pterano had told him many times that he already has. He absolutely loved Pterano with all of his heart, more than his own life, his own soul, more than anything in general. Pterano was his first and greatest love and it hurt him so much that there was a high chance that Pterano could be gone forever from his life.

"Devon?"

That raspy British accent of his father snapped him out of his thoughts. He immediately rushed to his side. "Hey Dad." he said, smiling softly down at him.

"Devon...I need you to promise me one last thing." Pterano requested, coughing a little.

Devon winced, as he didn't like the sound of that at all. "One last thing" those words from Pterano sent a few tears to his eyes, but he wiped them away. "Anything, Dad."

"Promise me...that you'll let me go." Pterano coughed again.

"No...no. Pterano, don't say that! I could never let you go." Devon pleaded, taking his hand to emphasize his point.

"Devon, I'll only hold you back if you don't."

"No. Dad, stop saying that! You've been MORE than a blessing to me. You've helped me through thick and thin! How could I let you go!?"

"Devon...listen to me. You have to let go, I know it's tough. Believe me, I know." Pterano gripped his hand a little tighter. "But you have your whole life ahead of you. You have a beautiful wife and such amazing children that I'm proud to call my own grandchildren."

"And I also have you! I couldn't have had my family without you! I just couldn't! I would've still ended up like Sierra if it wasn't for you!"

"Devon, I didn't find you a mate and got you children. You did. I only got in the way."

"Dad, that's not true! That's NOT true! You have to give yourself credit sometime!" Devon protested, tears spilling out of his eyes now.

"And so do you, Devon. I'm not the one who magically created her for you. You are the one who found her, and won her heart. And I couldn't be even more proud of you for it." Pterano rubbed Devon's hand gently, and the blue flyer only sighed in response, looking down. "Devon, look at me." The blue flyer obeyed and gazed directly into Pterano's dying eyes. "If you can't let me go, then do this. I want you to live a full, happy, stress free life. Go have adventures, fly around the world. Fight off sharpteeth, anything that'll make your life long and interesting. Don't let my death stop you from that."

"That's easier said than done. My life would be miserable if it weren't for you. I'm nothing without you, Dad."

"Devon, that is not true. You are my son and the most amazing son I would ever ask for in my life." Pterano told him, giving him a serious look to indicate that he meant what he was saying. "Just please promise me this."

Devon shifted his look to the ground and Pterano's eyes twice before he sighed. "I...I promise."

"Good. Now let me see that beautiful smile of yours." Pterano smiled now, rubbing his hand once again.

"I'm not sure if I can do that with you dying, Dad." Devon let a few more tears run down his cheeks.

"Well think of the memories we've shared. How about the time when we knocked down that sharptooth?"

Devon let out a chuckle through his tears. "Yeah those were the days weren't they?"

"Yes, that's my boy." The red flyer reached up and touched his son's cheek for the last time and Devon immediately rubbed his cheek against Pterano's hand, wiping away some of the flowing tears. "I love you, Devon. You have no idea what it has been like before I met you. I was miserable, and I didn't know the right path. But then you came along and turned such a crusty old lump of coal like me into a diamond. You make me proud to be your father everyday and you've never failed to make me smile. You've always made me feel like I was young again, and you still do. You have no idea just how happy I was when you called me Dad for the first time." At this point, Pterano couldn't hold his arm up any longer and his hand ended up slipping back into Devon's hand. Also, Devon noticed that Pterano's voice was growing weaker and weaker, indicating that his time was very near. His smile turned back into a frown. "Oh Devon...my sweet, sweet baby boy. I love you, Devon."

Devon closed his eyes and as soon as he did, he felt Pterano's hand loosen and slip onto the floor. He heard a quiet sigh coming from the dying flyer, and things went silent. He opened his eyes again to see his beloved father laying there; body limp, eyes closed, skin already growing cold. And this meant only one thing.

Realization washed over the sad young flyer and he gasped and his eye went wide. "No!" he exclaimed as more tears poured down his cheeks. "Dad...Dad?" by now his voice was cracking. "DAAAAAD!!!!!!" He lost it. He completely lost it. He clung to the red flyer tightly, sobbing, bawling, wailing hard into Pterano's dorment chest. He wailed so loud, that his crying seemed to echo throughout the valley. He kissed him, pounded on his chest, anything that would bring his beloved father back. But it all proved to be worthless. Pterano was dead, and there was nothing he could do about it.
---------------------------------

So there you have it. Enjoy.  :DD

Yeah, you know the deal. If you could bring an OC of yours to life, who would it be? I just couldn't help my curiousity on this one. Don't ask what inspired me.  :p

If I could bring an oc of mine to life, it'd DEFINITELY be Devon! Mostly because he's smart and sensitive and he cares so much about Pterano. *sigh* They're perfect for eachother...in fact, the half anniversary of the adoption scene between them is tomorrow. That's right! Six months ago tomorrow, it was written in Lost in a Forest that Pterano adopted Devon.  :celebrate  :wub  :wub DAAAAAAAAAAAAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And second of all, who would you NOT want to bring to life? Maybe a villain or something like that? As for me...I'll tell you when I finish Pterano's Metamorphosis.  :lol

---------------------------------------------------------------

Part One: A Real Goodbye

Petrie's point of view

"I'll be fine."

My Uncle's words went through my mind like a giant waterfall. Just this evening, he was banished to the Mysterious Beyond until, in Littlefoot's grandpa's words, "five of the cold times have passed". I was scared because I knew the Mysterious Beyond was a dangerous place and I wasn't sure if Pterano was gonna survive that long all alone. Sure he did an awful lot of bad things, but he's still my uncle and I believe that he can learn from his mistakes and change for the better.

As I looked up at the stars that night, I prayed to the Heavens that my uncle would be alright. I don't know how many tears poured down my face. I was so miserable. I tried to hold it in because I didn't want to worry too much, but it happened anyway. So here I was, crying myself to a sleep.

I don't know how long I slept, but the stars were still out by the time I woke up. I was facing the wall and I heard a pair of flyer feet land behind me. At first I thought it was Mama just hitting the sack. But I knew she'd be asleep by now. So I turned around and joy overfilled me. "U-Uncle?"

"Hello Petrie," he spoke in that unforgettable British accent that I find amazingly relaxing. "Didn't think I'd leave without a proper goodbye, now did you?"

I didn't hesitate any longer as I attacked my uncle with a hug around the neck. "Oh Uncle..." I muttered happily, nuzzling his neck as I felt his strong arms wrap around me. "Me so glad you came!"

"Me too, Petrie, me too." We stayed like this for what seemed like hours. I listened to his heartbeat and he stroked my small back gently with his claws.

"Still sad that I'll be gone?" he broke the silence.

"Yes but me know you be okay." Okay that was a bit of a lie there. I was still worried for him and he seemed just as scared as I was.

He let out a deep sigh. "I will...I will." he sat and leaned against the wall, still keeping me in his embrace. I nuzzled him gently since I knew this was going to be my last night with him. It was then that I remembered hearing what Mama had told me a few nights before. "You see, dear. Your uncle's been through so many rough times as a child. Our father, your grandfather was not as good as a flyer as he said he was. He abused me as a child, but he did even worse to your uncle, especially if he shows the slightest sign of 'imperfection', as he called it." Those were her exact words that still ran through my brain.

I nuzzled him again, whispering these word: "You always be perfect to me, Uncle...no matter where you go."

I felt his arms squeeze around me and I could have swarn I felt a wet tear hit my forehead. "I love you too, Petrie." I smiled one last time before snuggling into his chest some more. The next thing I knew, I was asleep.

The Fridge / Two Years Ago Today
« on: August 21, 2011, 02:25:13 PM »
Two years ago today, there was a great big fire on the mountains where I live. I don't know exactly how long it was, but some say that it was in betweeen a mile and a half and two miles long. It was pretty close to our house, so my sister and I were pretty scared. We knew we were probably gonna end up evacuating, so we packed the stuff we needed. So we waited nearly all night for the police to come and tell us to evacuate...but they never came. Soon I ended up falling asleep at like four in the morning. I don't really know about my mom and sister. My mom was on the computer and my sister...well she was already asleep. The next morning was pretty foggy, we could barely see anything more than ten feet away. But the fog eventually cleared and we ended up seeing the aftermath of the fire. Burnt trees...and a lot of them. But other than that, it almost looked like as if the fire never happened. Strange...but true. So yeah, we never really had to evacuate. The firemen took care of the fire the best they could and I believe we owed them a great thanks.

Just thought I'd share something interesting with ya.  :yes  :p

LBT Fanart / Hmm...I have a drawing request...

how people would draw Pterano and my character Devon having some sort of father son moment. I am quite curious at how people see them. Maybe some sort of hug...or watching the sunset and having a conversation or...something.

And just so you know, Devon is Sierra's biological son but looks at Pterano more as a father.

http://titanicsgirl.deviantart.com/art/Tog...F29379025&qo=11 That's Devon on the bottom right.

Or...I would love to see someone draw this scene right here, in which Pterano adopts Devon as his son. http://titanicsgirl.deviantart.com/art/Los...2F29379025&qo=4
