I was trying to make it look like there was a gust of cold wind swirling around the keelut (the creature depicted).

@StardustSoldier I'm thinking that it's an injury of some kind, but I haven't thought of what yet.

@Anagnos
@ImpracticalDino I forgot to mention that the theme I'm going for is mythological creatures. The bird in the first picture is a stymphalian bird, a mythological bird with a bronze beak and metallic feathers that it shot at its prey.

So no, ImpracticalDino, those aren't gems surrounding the bird. It's deadly sharp feathers.  :p But I should've tried to make that more clear, sorry about that.

Thanks for the comments. I don't know why I took so long to get back to this. :P

I'm attempting Inktober this year. Here's the first prompt, Rings.

It sounds like you expect people on these forums you join to be your friends right away with minimal effort. That isn't the way it works. If you want to build connections, you have to work for it. Post in more areas. Engage people in more topics other than LBT. Nobody here made connections from a few posts in a few areas in a short amount of time.

Not what I was saying but thanks for assuming things about me, also I was just getting ready to relax this issue and drop it. But good job showing why I felt the need to even make those feelings known in the first place.

edit- and you know what I've decided I'm done, this isn't worth it and people constantly talking down to me is irritating. You people are every bit as snooty and stuck up as I though during my first impression of this place.

I wasn't assuming anything about you. I was just pointing out how you were coming across. Then I offered you advice just as the others have. You expressed frustration that no one was replying to you after a very short amount of time and yes that does come across as attention seeking. This is frustrating to others because it can come off as trying to guilt people into replying to you, even if that isn't what you intended.

And excuse me? We're snooty? I've been part of this community for a long time and I can tell you that it wouldn't have lasted this long if we were all 'snooty'. People here have tried to help you out and you are coming across as ungrateful with this response of yours. You say that I assumed things about you. Guess what? You just assumed things about us by calling us 'snooty' just because we were trying to help you. That is hypocritical and isn't going to win you any friends, here or anywhere.

Writing other types of stories would be a good idea. Personally I'm no fan of tickling stories. I find them to be a bit unsettling.

So I finally got around to doing this. I forget if I had another thread where I posted various artwork, so I decided to make a new one. I'll be posting artwork in this thread instead of creating a new one for each image. I'll start off with these couple of images:

Some pretty old concept art for some of my alimon characters.

I'll check this out later. Does he mention Google Stadia? Because everything is gonna get worse if Stadia becomes mainstream. Imagine losing access to your entire library because you got your YouTube or Gmail account banned for something stupid

I'm actually looking forward to Google Stadia. It would give my Chromebook a bit more purpose.

I do apologize for how short these are. I just find it difficult to really explain things too well. So I did the best that I could.

Fanart Award:

DarkWolf. I quite enjoy the artwork that she's made, including the Land Before Time ones.

Feedback Award:

Rhombus. He has been helpful to me regarding my stories, both fanfiction and original.

Friendly Member Award:

Zeropoint. I find him to be approachable when it comes to starting a conversation.

Proactive Award:

I had trouble making my mind on this one, so this one will be skipped.

Role Play Gamer Award:

Since I do not participate in roleplaying on here, I will have to skip this one.

Considering that it's a children series, it's unlikely that a character could be killed off too easily. Yes it can happen, but LBT, as of lately, has been geared towards young children, and you know how protective of their kids parents can be these days. It might not fly.

I just got done playing some Spore Hero. It's not a game I would want to play too often, but since it's not too long, I do enjoy going through it again every so often. It's pretty limited compared to Spore, though the fighting sequences are a bit better in my opinion.

Welcome back!

57
If they do, there would be a lot of backlash. Both because there's loads of christians in the US, and because Fred Rogers was an icon among many, regardless of religious beliefs or lack thereof. The people making the documentary would be asking for the scorpion's sting if they made Fred Rogers look dumb.

But I have heard that it's preview in a film festival was well received with positive ratings, so that might be an indication that they didn't go that route.

As for how much they would dedicate to explaining Roger's faith, we'll find out when the movie releases nationwide. Considering it was a part of who he was, I imagine some time would be dedicated to it.

58
I have never seen any Hollywood movie that openly mocked any religion. In fact, I've seen more films that frowned upon non-believers than religious folk (which again I've never seen).

Plus again, considering that Fred Rogers was a well loved man and this documentary is made in honor him, it would be in poor taste to mock him for being religious. I have my doubts that the filmakers would attempt or even allow a part of who he was to be demonized/treated like it was a mistake.

59
They had better not underplay the fact he was a Christian or try to make him look like a dumb-dumb because of it.

Considering that the documentary is to honor Fred Rogers, why would they make him look stupid?

Sometimes I get randomly signed out of the site. Not sure why. I should change my password sometime.

Also Pokeplayer, I don't have the issue that you are having with replying. When I posted this, it still did what the old forum did and brought me back to the same thread, only with my post being the first thing I see.
