I'm wondering, was it all of them or just Cera?
(Or do you think he's still alive somewhere?)
-
They would have failed without Cera, but she couldn't have done it alone either. They were all part of the cause, so all of them killed Sharptooth.
He could have recovered underwater and swam out, recent research shows a T. rex didn't need arms to swim. The lake was small, so though swimming would have taken a lot effort for a T.rex, I have no doubt he would have made it to the shore. But we will never know.
-
It was a Colonel Mustard in the parlor with the candlestick.
-
It was Trevor Phillips in the midst of a meth-induced rage.
-
The Joker.
-
I think all of them killed Sharptooth together, poor Petrie almost lost his life. <3 :cry :DD
-
They all did. Cera helped, of course, but they all needed each other to do it, which I'm assuming was what the creators had in mind when deciding how they would off sharptooth. Teamwork and all that. ^^
-
Yep, just like they found the Great Valley, got food from that tree or escaped Sharptooth, they killed him off in the end - together :)
-

Actually, that boulder hit Sharptooth in the belly and sunk him lower into the water. I think it may have knocked him out and caused him to drown as he sunk further into the water (because you can breathe while still unconscious).

That's the impression I got too, this would explain why Petrie got free, Sharptooth loosened his grip on the "Poor, poor, Petrie."

lol question.
of course they did it all together (even Ducky jumped from Sharptooth to push that damn rock).
but hey, what the heck, I think Sharptooth is still alive. *rolls eye*

I think he's likely dead, unless when Gang leaves the scene, he suddenly floated back up and woke up (with terrible head ache) and said, "I will get those kids, if its the last thing I do." :lol
-
I think he's likely dead...
*in Vader's voice* I find your lack of faith disturbing. :D

Not only with that. But also with damaged mind and memory. Though it didn't stop him, and after large amount of time he found single purpose of his life. Yeah - to find the gang and bring them huge pain, even if dreadful hunger isn't posessing him.
hmm. If you are dinosaur that lives more than 100 years, and your only daily work is sleep and hunting... Some life purpose (except finding mate and raise family) makes you more living than ever. :[

I think this is the Red Claw story unrealized. There would have been great tension in LBT Series, if Red Claw was the Original Sharptooth and he had gang of Carnivours helping him seek revenge because as you mentioned he would have mental problems and injuries.
-
Don't be ridiculous. That stupidest ever blue sharptooth has nothing to do with original green bloody sharptooth. :p

I meant that the LBT Series could have made more of impact if they had the Original Sharptooth return and seek revenge.
-
Yes I agree I would of loved it if the original Sharptooth came back and seeked revenge. That would of been a way better movie in my own opinion.

They could still do it in LBXV: Revenge of Sharptooth. In it Bron and Sharptooth battle, and Little Foot is faced with his worst fear, the potential of his only father being killed by same Sharptooth who killed his mother.
-
I hope they will solve this little conflict... peacefully.
or more deadS would occur...

Or else.. :wow
-
True you're right they could do that I'd be fine with that Also.
-
"Sharptooth is dead!" -Little Foot :p
-
"Sharptooth is dead!" -Little Foot :p
seconds before Cera screamed "HE WILL EAT US! HE WILL IT US! RUN!!!" and very familiar large shadow covered the gang...
srsl. Nobody can survive that fall. Of course he should be dead, Littlefoot.

That's not the same Sharptooth! I'm calling the Lone Dinosaur!
"Dinosaur...
His tail was swift as lightning
Dinosaur...
His heart was brave and pure
Dinosaur...
Whenever times were frightening
call his name and he'd be there for sure
Lone Dinosaur"
-
True the lone dinosaur might be able to save the gang.
-
The Lone Dinosaur would whip Sharptooth into the dust! :DD
-
Only if he is saving life of Dara or his son. Otherwise - R.I.P. Doc...
-
I'm guessing doc could put up a good fight with the T-Rex In the Land Before Time

"I find your lack of faith disturbing." :p
The Lone Dinosaur protects all who believe his legend. :angel
-
Yes yes he does he will save us all from the dreaded T-Rex
-
I believe only in reality and known facts. (also, I'm anarchist :p)
I have seen what that Sharptooth can do in insane state.
I didn't see what can Doc do in mad state, like Littlefoot's mother did.
So, for now, I say almost each elder dinosaur is doomed in battle with Sharptooth...

Doc was able to defeat the Meanest Sharptooth (LBT VI) without being mad (rage mode). Imagine if Doc was to go into full rage mode against Sharptooth like Little Foot's Mother.
We should have a Land Before Time Battle thread, is there a thread?
-
Oh if he went full rage on that one he'd defeat it for sure and would have saved the day

I am glad there is someone who believes in Lone Dinosaur. :angel

ahem
It was just a story interpreted by Grandpa Longneck...
do you remember ending of film, where Littlefoot reimagines the story again (or makes his own story), and this time, Grandpa replaces Doc.
That's nature of stories...
(he same I can tell about all world religions... гг)

Foiled Again! :lol
I concede to your point on this Sharptooth. :p
I need to see Doc's actual fight with Meanest Sharptooth and the Yellow Sharptooth at end of Saurus Rock (I was suppose to see it a couple nights ago, but my digital copy rental expired! Argghh!).
-
Or maybe Sharptooth is the Gray Sharptooth from X, with all his blood and strength gone from falling into the lake, and now he can't even squish a baby Brachiosaur (Shorty) :p :lol
-
It was a team effort. :)
-
Yes I can agree with that answer
-
I love how we went from the titular question to the Lone Dinosaur. :p

Which sharptooth are you talking about?
-
Davy Jones pulling Sharptooth into his iconic locker? Could be, considering the size of the body of water they tried to drown him in kept constantly changing in size between a small puddle to a rather deep lake at odd times.
