Introduction: Lights glow from within a arena with the night sky light up by the city and the arena inside a person speaks out to the crowds cheering on fighters in a energy field arena "Tonight has been grand we seeing the Champ Largon fighting the rival Frage, these dragons in armour fight out on life points it a grand fight you see. This is nearing the end of this Tournament the next will begin by 3 months! Who will win this clash of Rivals!" the man spoke.
the view came out to a large screen with a blue humaniod dragon with a chest vest of fire light design with the same on his top parts of his legs being armour on the fronts wearing on his three clawed feet two armour pads over the tops of the feet more like sandles but not under his feet but above them he watched the match through his armour mask rasing his arms up with three claw armour garlets he slashed and kicked at a stone wall then look back at the screen "I will be in that Tournament" he said flicking his tail a bit looking at the screen with his brownish red eyes.
Name: Flamedra
Type: humaniod dragon<no wings> seem to have not much of a huge frame but has skills that flexable and fast able to jump very high as well
Age: 19
Personality: Challenging, kind and has the heart to fight on to show that strength is all they don't need to be a winner.
Apperance: strong torso frame but not muscle with strong legs that are revesred in direction in joints to the upper and lower legs, three claw hands with thin arms his head shaped with a shout with two horn like ears sticking out the back. blue all over part from the white front torso and front neck under side of the snout. Brownish red eyes.
Work: He works as Police officer for the City when on duty or called in

(this RPG just spark a idea that I like to try it where on Earth there are humans and humaniod dragons living as part of the same equal rights, but a Tournament held for only the dragons is held once a year but at points there are Tournaments that held all year round as a legene and this is the one that about to start in 2 months time.)
(you can pick a human or a dragon charcater that you wish to pick that will fit in the story)

"You think so?" Said a human who was also looking at the screen. 'I'm pretty sure you'll get in, considering they;'re expanding the tourney."

"Your earily Mac. My shift don't start for another 5 minutes... how did you find out where I work out?" Flamedra stopped training looking over at his Partner in the force.

Mac smiled. "I called in a few favors Flamedra, from some of your dragon buddies."

"Damn" Flamedra chuckled taking his claw hands out of the garlets and putting them away with his mask with the blade on it in the case closing it up "well we better start our shift. meet at the bottom" FLamedra jumped off the roof and Mac ran to the edge and looked down seeing Flamedra land at the bottom over 12 floors down, Flamedra looked up "Hurry up slow poke" he yells up.
Mac moved away from the edge shaking his head wondering how he does it

Flamedra put his case in the vechile boot then close it up placing a claw hand on the top of the roof he looked at the door of the building "Should be down any moment."

Mac dashed out of the building a few seconds later.

"Took a breather half way down did we Mac?" Flamedra joked

Ha Ha, you're a riot" Mac said sarcastically as he caught his breath.

"Well we better get going" FLamedra opens his side of the door and gets in keeping his armour on his upper legs, feet and chest he puts on a belt around his waist just above the tail begins "Right where is our first protal" Flamedra asked Mac as he got in the car drivers side.

On the west side of town. "Mac replied. seems a robbery is underway."

"Well if they taking the roof they got one nasty surprise since you know I have the power to jump up to 3 floors high without trouble, remember the first time we became partners your jaw just dropped when I jumped on a railing then jumped up to the roof with great balance" Flamedra said to Mac laughing a bit.

Yeah, Most likely they will take the roof." Mac agreed. I'll handle the lower floors you can handle the roof."

"Yes I will do that" Flamedra said with a smirk "What do you think of my flexable armour? the design colour to it?" Flamedra said putting his claw hand on his chest shirt like armour.

the armour was hand made by a friend of mine and the design I did myself took me a while to do but it came out the style I like it it. these armour pads on my feet they sit on top of my clawed feet with a strap holding it on my feet between the pads of my under side souls" Flamedra said to Mac and Mac wondered a few dragons like Flamedra had pad feet like that of a dog or cat one pad under each toe and the soul with a big one it. He gather it was part of the form of Dragon that Flamedra is. Great at running and jumping.

"I think I'll keep this on for a while I am sure it better then the ususally belt that I always where on duty. the new style has a bit more on but not a bother." Flamedra said looking at Mac as he drove.

(yes Nick right there isn't I might of used appearances to similar of it but no where near Digimon there are different types of dragons, ones that called the basic which have wings and fly, others have strong legs no wings able to jump high or run fast the other is the strong they more of the muscles type.
the date is 2012 and the car use something that runs on friendly fuel and the arenas the dragons fight in are designed to fight with lifepoints ones those points are gone the game is over plus a forcefield protects the crowds from the fight enjoying the sport)

Flamedra lowers himself a bit bending his legs down then jumps up about 20ft high landing on a wall sticking out of the building he jumps up again onto the roof. Mac looking up shaking his head at the speed it took Flamedra to get to the roof top.

Name: Raputa (japanese spelling of Raptor)
Species: Dragon (can't breathe fire)
Age: 30
Appearance: He looks like a Raptor, but is covered in thick fur to protect him from the cold. His fur is midnight blue in color, sometimes appears black when he's in darkness. Along his back are white stripes. His muzzle, hands, and feet are colored white as well. His irises are dark red. From behind each eye shoot out four long feathers, tipped with white. He has not one, but two sickle claws on each foot.
Personality: Cold-hearted, stubborn, inflexible, hates to lose, likes to kill if he gets the chance
(Raputa's actually a shivae, a dinosaur-like creature from the online comic, Shivae. But according to a page on that site, Shivae were descended from Earth Dragons, so I view them as dragons, just can't breathe fire. ^^; )

(that sounds too dark of a charcater... this is like a RPG outside and inside the tournament... it not a mad nightmare... could you change the charcater profile a bit that sounds too much like a dinosaur and his personallity is way too dark and twisted. and want to kill if he get the chance... erm that going way over the top, sorry... but it just way too dark of a charatcater sturborn or bad templed or slient type with a dark look is fine.)

(till that sorted that charcater is a way no no and it has to be a dragon one of the types that I said. one for speed and jumping, one for basic style with flying, one for strengh. and they have to be scaly not feathers. it has to be a dragon not a dinosaur like dragon, there are limits to a dragong you can have this is a world that dragons and humans live together not trying to kill each other on site. human or dragon charcater no dinosaur like dragon alrigh.)
Flamedra stood there looking at the rubbers running "I see you" he said in a quiet tone jumping over to another roof running alongside them keeping out of sight.

Mac heard the crashing as flamedra chased after the robber. "Keep them honest Flanmy, I'm coming" He said.

FLamedra followed them till they came to the fire escape ladder they looked down to see if it was clear one looking back but that one saw Flamedra come in with a kick hitting him making him fly into the others knocking them backwards he stood over them as one reach for the weapon he stepped on his hand and pushed down his claw foot with the pads pressing the man cried in pain Mac came up to see another about to aim and Flamedra but he put the gun to the back of the last ones head.
"Nice going Mac that all of them 4 out of 4 and you all are under arrest" Flamedra said to them picking up one of them pulling his arms back putting the cuffs on him then the others with Mac doing the other.

They take the four to the station and lock them up as they walk by the work stations of the station some looking at the new items on Flamedra's body since his worked there all he wear was belt when on duty dragons wasn't one of those types that wear much. just having the armour foot, leg and chest wear was something different to see making their heads turn.
"Looks like they stunned by what I have on" Flamedra whispers to Mac laughing a little bit

(Sorry, but that's how Raputa was meant to be. I will not change him at all for this RPG. If it'll make you happy I'll try to find a lighter dragon character to use, although I have my doubts now. I didn't know I wasn't allowed to use a dark character.)

"Well my choice to have it on and no one would change my mind" he said to Mac. "you know how stubborn I am when my mind is made up" he chuckled a little bit.

(it just that one is way too dark and out of hand of a profile that one is for sure a no no. and I won't let it in. with deadly claws what to kill... this isn't a horror RPG! I refuse to have Raputa in this RPG it too dark of a charcater and would not work in it so change him or remove him that your two choices on that dark and twists horror charcater)

(I already said I won't change Raputa and that I'll try to find a different character to replace him. But now I'm not even sure if I will join the RPG.)

(Look we need a compromise here. DarkHou, tone down your character's evilness, and try and form him into a dragon more in line with the story. We can have him as the overall bad guy, the one everyone loves to hate, but in order for it to be kept in, we need to compromise)

(I'll just remove him from the RPG. That's what I was trying to say before, that I would try to find a character to replace him. I think I accidentally made it sound as though I was keeping him.)

(I do want to admit something though. When I was told to change Raputa's personality and appearance, I did take that as an insult. The reason why is because I design a character the way I want them to be. I put my imagination to work to establish a character in looks and personality. And to have someone tell me to change them just because they do not approve, well it makes me angry.
I will try to replace him, like I said before. But if I can't find a character that meets your standards, then I won't be able to join the RPG. Just what are the standards for the dragons anyway? I mean what types am I allowed to use?)

(Sorry but I changed my mind. I've decided not to enter this RPG. I will not RP as anything humanoid. I hate humanoids in general. The only humanoid animal character I have is Volt and he's too vicious for this RPG, plus he's not even a dragon. And I don't create human characters. And I also hate being limited. I hope you don't take offense into this. It's just not my area of interest, is all. I do hope you find some more people to RP here, though.)

(sorry about it just that it a charcater that couldn't really work in this rpg. there is a reason why people should read it from the beginning to understand the structure of the RPG. plus it took me a lot of thought to come up with this.)
"Come on people get back to work stop starring at my chest shift armour upper leg armour and feet pad armour it just something for the Tournament and it isn;t much in the way for wearing on duty. so stop starring alright" Flamedra said to the others they all quickly looked back at their paper work or whatever they was doing. "Jeezs... so I put something on parts of my body... so what it not going to change my personilatly" Flamedra mutters and take the mug of hot tea in it pouring it in a cup he drinks some of it

(I already said I refuse to join this RPG. I would rather pick a character I would want to play, and not be limited by the standards. No offense, but I don't think I'll enjoy participating a role play where I am forced to play as only a human or a humanoid dragon (anthro), both type of characters which I hate. Being creative means there are no limitations and no boundaries. It's hard to let a creative mind reach its full potential if it's bound to standards completely. I also have another reason of not joining, but I rather not state it here.)

(LOL A lot of OOCing here, eh? Btw Raputa was NOT going to go on some killing rampage. Yes, he was a very dark character, maybe even morbid. However, I was not going to have him actually kill anyone. I only wish that you guys would have given him a chance in the RP before you made the decision to shun him. He wasn't going to raise the rating to M.
Ah, well, it's too late now, and I do respect your decision as well. I understand if you want to keep this RP light and not have a lot of violence. And with that, all I can say is I do hope you find people who would be interested in roleplaying here. Perhaps advertisment would help, which I think you suggested, Nick22.)

It's possible, although it just may be hearsay. As for the family they're doing well. So when are you going to grab that dream girl Flamedra? Sure being a bachelor's great, but at some point you need to settle down. Or that's what my mom's been telling me"Your friend needs to settle down". Take it for what it's worth" Mac laughed.

"Don't ask me to go to the bar... dragons can't handle your human achoal last time I tried one it knocked me flat out" Flamedra chuckled "Dragons have different strengths but all fail to handle achoal"

Mac laughed. "last time still brings tears to my eyes " He chuckled.

Flamedra and Mac sit in a dinner waiting to be served "mmm looks like they got the Cooked Cow surprise again. that what I am going to order and a cup of tea. so what your ordering? your ususally veggy meal?" Flamedra said and questioned looking at Mac on the other side of the table.

(Pretty much, as well as a coach. He's the son of a very well known teacher who died recently, but took some dragons to the tournament championship years ago. Because of his father's passing, Kenshi hasn't done alot much of training dragons.)
Two tables down, Kenshi sat quietly and drinks his cup of tea, lost in thought...

Sure" Mac said as he looked down the room. "Hey Flamedra, you'll need a trainer, if you want to do well" Mac said to him.

Their coversation drifted over to Kenshi.

Kenshi paused to eavesdrop on a conversation not far from him at a human and dragon, whom he recognized from a newspaper or two as a police officer. The talk about a trainer caused him to think quietly, before he finally paid his bill for his drink and walks over to the partners at the table, placing a business card down in front of them. "This address leads to an old gym," he said. "You won't find a good trainer, but you can at least get some sparring done and a few tournament tips, and it's opening hours are negotiable." He paused to await a response...

"Well thank you. It would be good to get some real training done" Flamedra said looking at him "The name is Flamedra" he said to the man "this is Mac. why dont you take a seat?" Flamedra said moving across a bit and that when Kenshi
notice the armour chest vest with the upper leg pads looked well designed.

"I'm Mac" Mac said shaking Keshi's hand. "Have a seat. We've been looking for a trainer, and any help we can get would be appreciated."

Kenshi returned the handshake. "I'm Kenshi," he replied. "The best of trainers are found only at the tournaments, and I'm not one of them. However, I can get you started in competition so you can earn a reputation to get yourself a professional trainer." He paused to notice Flamedra's styled armor and gave a half-smile. "I see you already got the style for the tournies, but you'll need much more than beauty to win these events." He paused again. "Anyway, I must head home. Tomorrow will be a busy day with others like you wanting to get into the fights. See you there..." He turns and walks out of the diner onto a black motorcycle, places his helmet on, and speeds off into the night.

"Beauty?" Flamedra frowns seeing him leave and onto his motorbike. "This isn't for beauty! it made of a strong metal that can withstand claws." Flamedra growls a little under his breath.
"I will show him my skills" he said looking over to Mac "Do you believe that guy said that about my armour?"

I goit the sense that he knows a lot of dragon armor, and what armor is needed to do well in the tourney" mac replied.

"This is a new metal one of a kind. no one used it or know of it part from my father and you and that the way I like to keep it" Flamedra whispers to Mac taking out from under his chest shirt armour a piece of paper and shows it to Mac and the formula of mental that his father used made Mac stare it amazed to see the formula itself. FLamedra puts it back in its hidding place.
"You see why no one else knows of it and the unqiuiness of the armour" he said to him Mac "flexable if needed and very tough."

It may be unique, but we have yet to see hoew it holds up in combat." Macx reminded him.

"Ture, but if my father was right it would hold up to a direct hit from a blade even shattering it. but that what father said to me he have only tested out a small sheet of the armour with a blade" Flamedra stated to Mac

FLamedra and Mac paid for the bill and they left Flamedra takes his case and leaves "Good night Mac" he said and walks across the road and walks down the road as Mac gets in his car.

Flamedra arrives at his home opening it up he sees his dads work gear in the passage way "Father?" he calls out as he closed the door putting the case down.

Busyy day son? Yeah I threw my gear in the middle of the hallway, Please pick it up, would you please" His father's voice came in from the study.

"Alright" Flamedra picks it up and brings it in the study. "father the Armour is good and feels great in movement. I would like to have it tested on blade impaces" Flamedra said to his father

Alright "Fliccia said to his son. Go to the training room, and I'll set up the training program"

"I'll fit on the armour mask helmet and garlets on" FLamedra said opening the case up taking out them and putting them on putting his claw hands in the garlets and holding them up "ready father"

"strating Blade program number 14. Be ready Flamedra."Fliccia said, activating the program.

FLamedra got ready for the first thing thrown at him.

Two knives raced at Flamedra at high speed.

FLamedra put up and flash his right hand at it the three blades of the garlet knocking the knifes out of the way landing into a wall to the left of him

Good" Fliccia said approvingly. now here's some more" 3 knives came out this time .

FLamedra tried his deence with his garlets raised and crossed over at the direction of the knifes he pushed away at the same time with both the force sliced through the knifes them landing on the floor in front of him cut into three neat pieces each.

"Understood father. one more thing" he toss a knife to his father "throw it at the chest vest plate" Flamedra takes it off with the rest of the armour and straps putting it on the wall
"Even though it feels like nothing when wearing it still feel better without wearing anything. I don't get after all this time humans keep changing their style of clothes and why it required to look good to their eyes" Flamedra said on the off side. stepping to the left in a safe point waiting to see how the armour works to knife impacts.

Fliccia threw the blade at the armor. the blade pirced the left of the armor and stuck there, not piercing at the way through, but still creating a dent. "humans are vain creatures he said.

"Armour looks good. it held and the inner part stayed in the clear no push in marks. that good only need a little repair on the front and paint job then good as new" Flamedra said with a smile.
his father the brings up about the other sex of the dragons.

"father!" he said to him then speaks again "Not yet. I haven't really thought about it but your only 49 and I am only 19. we live to almost 200 years father. but when is mother coming back from her tour in the tourments in New Zealand?" Flamedra asked him "is she entering in the league again?

I've have never been very patient, your mother is of the same mind "When is Flamedra going to settle down?" she keeps asking me."

You'll find her eventually" Fliccia sighed. "Enough training, let's head to bed" He said, turning off the machine.

"Goodnight father I am going on the roof to get some fresh air before I rest up for tomorrow" Flamedra said walking up the stairs then pulling a ladder down to the roof he heads up on to the roof.

Flamedra stood on the roof standing by the wall edge looking out to the city then at the stars he sat down in the chair and looked up with his armour in a case inside the house he sat there feeling the cold night air around his body. "I wonder if there anyone out there for me? I never thought of the time to find someone." he said to himself looking at the stars.

"Father I will find someone... just stop pressuring me to hurry up" Flamedra said back down into the house.

"I can tell" Flamedra chuckled shaking his head a little looking up at the sky still

Morning came and Flamedra walking down the street with the whole lot of armour in his case walking to the gym building that he was told about at the cafe yesturday. "this... otf..." he had walked into someone he looked to see another dragon same type of dragon built for jumping and running mostly with strong legs he looked the one he walked into finding it was a she.
"Sorry miss I was looking at this gym here I was given this card to be able to train here with a trainer. do you know him?" Flamedra said he was sorry and said to her.

(OOC: I'll give a quick description of the building before getting back to the story itself.)
The building looked like nothing more but a warehouse from the outside, surrounded by dirt ground where those that drove here would park their vehicles where-ever they deem fit nearby. The inside, however, promised an elaborate gym with equipment, small sparring mats, and two large arenas walled off by large and strong walls of glass. Long shelves of not-too-attractive armor and weapons lined the walls near the sparring grounds and arenas. Quite a few dragons were present that day, either sparring or exercising on the equipment.

"I said I was sorry. Well I am off inside" he picks up the case "I am Flamedra by the way" he said to her putting out his free claw hand to her

'Sorry Flamedra-am I saying that right?_ I don't have time right now for formalities. I have to head home"came the reply."She took his claw in hers in shook it, then quickly released it. "Good luck with your training" she said.

The building echoed with the grunts and growls of Dragoins training, as Flamedra entered the room.

At at sparring mat not far away, Kenshi was doing punching and kicking drills with a young red dragon, holding arm blockers and dodging around while coaching him. The young dragon breathed hard as he was hitting the blockers with his clawed fists, feet, and sometimes even his slender tail. Kenshi sooned ended the drill, saying, "Good job, take a break." As the two separated of the mat, the human placed the blockers away on a table and soon noticed Flamedra nearby, and approached him. "I see you made it," he said with a half-smile.

"Yes I've have took me some time to find this place but I did in the end." Flamedra said to him "I've also brought the armour with me as well the whole set." Flamedra said putting it down and opening the case up Kenshi having a look.

Fliccia came in and took a chair next to a sparring mat. 'Hello son, I see you made it"

Kenshi nodded as he saw the armor inside Flamedra's case, when he noticed the dragon Flamedra called father nearby. "Your father?" he asked, and approached Fliccia, extending his hand. "I'm Kenshi. You came to watch your son train?"

Yes, I have. I think he will surprise you with his talent and determination" Fliccia said.

Kenshi smiled and nodded. "I'm half-expecting to be surprised," he replied, then turned to Flamedra. "Get suited up! You're going in the arena! Today you get tested!"

Understood" Flamedra puts his armour on then the mask and enters the arena.

Several dragons in the gym stopped their own training to gather at the bleachers around the glass arena. Even those at the second arena ended their rounds to watch as well. The young dragon eagerly jumped into a seat next to a console where Kenshi stood. A blue-green dragon, a whole foot higher than Flamedra and clad in dark gray armor and a metal club, stepped into the arena with the agile dragon.
"Today, we're not doing anything exotic," Kenshi spoke through a speakerphone that echoed through the gym. "Just a one-on-one fight to a forfeit or KO. Dragons ready?"

Flamedra nods he knew that any one he face would be a challenge but the one with the club he knew it was the strengh type of dragons and he had faced two at once before while on duty as a police officer while they was trying to get away with a large sum of cash. they was knew as the Twin Masher Bashers.

"Is this a points duell or simply a straightforward duel?' Fliccia asked Kenshi.

The blue-green dragon also nodded and readied himself to battle.
"It's just a straightforward," Kenshi replied. "Points are used only in the event of when two fighters fall at the same time. Not impossible, but not common either." He turned back to the arena. "Ready! BEGIN!"
A loud buzzer echoed throughout the gym, and the larger dragon rushed in at Flamedra and swung his club inside at the smaller dragon's head...

Flamedra smirked he jumped quickly up with the club hitting air he turned around with his feet hitting the roof then he pushed off it coming down fast he flipped around and did a swinging kicking the head of the larger dragon the hit knocks him backwards almost falling over as Flamedra lands with him lowered with one garlet on the floor he looked at the larger dragon and ran at him giving him no chance to recover jumping over him then landing behind him. the dragon swung around to hit him but as he did there was no one there.
He looked around and then looked up to see Flamedra standing on his shoulders he using his club try to hit Flamedra but he jumps and the dragon hit himself on the head hard Flamedra lands with a garlet claws in the ground as the large dragon wavers a little. Flamedra lets go of that garlet standing up with his claw hand he stands straight and clicks once the dragon falls backwards out cold with the club landing beside him bouncing a bit. "Rage is the most common use of strength in a muscle type dragon which tends to blind them of reaction to deaction." he said looking at the downed dragon then at the window as he put the garlet he let go back on over his claw hand.

The other dragons watched with shock at the end of the match, and the young dragon was also stunned at the amazing display of skill. Kenshi gave a half-smile as he sounded the end of the fight. Two dragons entered the arena to pick up the downed dragon and drag him out, where an old and slightly overweight dragon was waiting.
As the crowd dispersed, Kenshi turned and entered the arena. "Your father was right," he said. "I am surprised with how quickly you won that match, even against a seasoned fighter like him."
The red dragon followed in behind the trainer with a towel and handed it to Flamedra.

Flamedra takes the tower "thank you" he said to the red dragon "I've had been working for the police force and you have skilled dragons that don't enter a tourument but use it to do crime, so you have to be on your feet" FLamedra told Kenshi

"I see," Kenshi replied. "With a wide variety of dragons around, you must have needed to train hard to face every type of dragon you encounter." He looked to the young dragon, who stood. "Go see if your grandfather needs any help with his newest patient."
The dragon nodded and jogged out of the arena.

"Kenshi thank you" Flamedra said to him "What would be the training next for me? Kenshi" he asked

"First off, you're not the only one getting the special training," Kenshi replied. "There are three others that will also start playing professionally until you all find some big tournament sponsors with their own coaches and trainers. Two of them are here and the third just left not long ago. Believe it or not, she has similar skills like you."

"I believe I ran into her on the way in" FLamedra replied thinking about it

"Perhaps," Kenshi said. "Today, you'll get the tour of the place and start your real training, but first you need to know the rules." He leads Flamedra out of the arena as he continues. "I'm the one who runs this operation, so if you need any help or have a problem with someone, you talk to me. Or if I'm not around, there's Fong, our medic, his grandson, Kale, and the other three fighters." He pauses. "The sparring area is for play-fighting and these two arenas are for the real thing. You are not allowed to fight anywhere else inside or outside, so if you want a grudge match against someone, you take it in the ring. Understand so far?"

"Yes I do and I will keep to them cause as you know I am a dragon of the law" Flamedra said to him

"Well done, my son "Fliccia came up, chuckling, "that guy will be feeling that blow you gave him for a few weeks." He turned to Kenshi. "Don't worry, my son will not break any rulesa."

"being a police officer is what that means father" Flamedra laughed a little bit.

"Just making sure" Fliccia chuckled. He turned. I'm heading back home son. I want a full report once you get home"

"Will do father" Flamedra said to him

Kenshi nodded to Fliccia. "It's a pleasure meeting you, sir," he said, and then turned back to Flamedra. "Then I'm sure I won't have to lecture you about illegal activities that happens in this part of town. So, all you have to do is stay clean and out of trouble. Agreed?"

"I do under stand Kenshi" Flamedra replied

"Right then," Kenshi said. "Most of the time you will be training with the other three competitors, or drilling with me. We only have a limited amount of time before your dream tourney starts, and you need to earn a reputation to find a tournament sponsor. It's a good thing there will be a lot of bouts before the tourney where you'll get that reputation. There will be a few fights scheduled for next week: two one-on-one, and one tag-team. Think you'll be ready?"

"I will be ready for it Kenshi" Flamedra said with a voice of sureness

"Good. And the last thing to know is that while you train here, you call me Coach." Kenshi turned to see that Kale has returned. "Go prep our new competitor with a locker and some towels and competition gear. I also want your grandfather to do a quick check-up before we really begin."
Kale nodded and waited.

Flamedra came up to Kale "Show me the way" he said to Kale with a smile.

Kale smiled a little and led Flamedra down a hall into the locker room, stopping at a small set of lockers. "These lockers are exclusively for competitors," the young dragon said, opening a locker. "In here, there are towels that get washed every day, and competition colored armbands used for team fights." He paused. "You really think you can win the big tournament?"

"Well I will just have to try it my first year and whatever happens I always have my job to turn back to I enjoy working there" Flamedra replied

Kale nodded. "Most dragons never become champions their first year," he said. "The only few that did were those that Coach's father trained. My own grandpa became a finalist in his first year thanks to him, and remained in the top 5 before he retired."

"I see. Well my mother is still in the tourument she'd at this time in a special one down under. but my father he always the armour person he perform to make dragon armour for a living and do well in it as well. some of the dragons that use his type of armour are in the tourument this one I got is one of a kind there nothing else like this one" Flamedra said and stated to Kale

Kale looked at the armor Flamedra was wearing as he mentioned it. "I'm hoping for some armor when I'm old enough to compete. Coach has been teaching me the advantages and disadvantages of most kinds of armor, but he never knew much about custom armor."

"My armour made out of metal that very hard to come by my father was lucky to find a place to collect such metalls he shaped it into this armour with the garlet three claw features as you see, it one of a kind piece of armour with a flexable movementable style and very touch" Flamedra told him about the armour

Kale listened in awe, when Fong walked into the room and spotted them. "I was wondering why you're taking long," he said. "Ken's waiting, so you better hurry back so he'll get you started on arena obstacle drills today."

"Of course, nice talking to you" Flamedra goes off to do the drill.

Fong and Kale watched Flamedra leave, and then the grandson turned to his elder. "You really think he can make it to the championshiop, Grandpa?"
Fong shrugged as he sat down next to him. "I don't know," he replied. "If Kenshi builds the confidence he needs to coach him through the tournament, there will be a better chance for him to win."
"I hope so..." Kale sighed. "I wanna see Coach recover so that he can train champions like his dad."
Fong smiled and puts his arm around his grandson's shoulders. "If he doesn't make a great fighter with this one, I know at least he's doing fine with you."
Kale smiled. "Thanks Grandpa."
Both dragons get up and walk out the locker room together.

Kenshi looks up to see Flamedra returning from the locker room. "Visiting the little dragons' room?" he remarked with a slight smirk.

"Talking to Kale back there his got spirit a real gold light in ones dragon when he goes to the toururmwnr I am sure he will get far" Flamedra said to Kenshi. "I plan to do very well and strike for that on top and there one thing I like to request Kenshi." Flamedra walks to his case and open it pulling out a piece of paper and hand it to him "I would like you to be my coach for the tourument, I did some research on your name you'd was my father's coach so'd I ask you to be mine"

Kenshi's face turned very stern as he took the paper from Flamedra and read it, before looking back up, unhappy. "First off, it was my father who had coached him. I was only an assistant coach, though the paper doesn't describe it. Second, I don't play in the big leagues. My job is to get you noticed by the big leagues so you can play in it. And third, you're here only to train to make those big leagues, not to give speeches to my student." He handed the paper back to Flamedra. "One more thing, the name is Coach to you. You got all of this clear?"

"Well well well my friend Kenshi I see your got a few more dragons here good, now maybe you will get the money you own me human sonny." Black scaled dragon said stepping into the room from the door. "since your dad died my business boomed and now I have winners my rival dead and all is left is a push over human a kiddy that don't know where to quit. so I've got some legal grounds my gym not to far and I got more dragons training so they gave me the power to close this place down if you don't pay me lets say 200,000 at the end of the season if you don't give me it within 2 days of the end of the season I will close this piece of crap down." Blackflare chuckled and turned away walking to the door. "Soon you'll have nothing but memiors that will be worthless. till we meet on the battlefield sonny" he leaves the gym leaving a leaflet of his gym on the floor.

(OOC: Huh? My character profile says his dad has been dead for several years, and he has no family left. Plus, Kenshi's not as weak as he seems, not to forget that the dragons that have been training in his gym have trained under his father, and they have his back all the way.
One idea to add some villains in the story is a rival company has been competing against the father for many years, and since his dad's death, they've been coming up with tournament champions every year. How's that for an idea?)

Kenshi watched as Blackflare left, his rage boiled to a point when he grabbed a blunt battleaxe, normally too heavy for a human, from a nearby rack of weapons and swung it with one hand into a brick wall, embedding it with loud crack that echoed through the gym. Other dragons stopped to look at what happened, even Fong and Kale had failed to see it as they exited the locker rooms.
Shaking with intense anger, the human stormed into his office and slammed the door behind him. There was an instense several minutes of awkward silence before the dragons soon got back to work.

"something tells me this is serious... I should see this other gym and find out what the hell going on around here" Flamedra walks out of the building and jumps up on a low level roof then a higher one in moments he was on top of one of the buildings looking over at the other Gym. "Blackflare dragon Gym" he muttered to himself looking down at it from a crounched postion he scanned the are then he saw blackflare "you got to be kidding me, the Blackflare... that creep always found a loop hole when I arriested him for a crime... that git is doing this? I think it time to turn the tables on him" Flamedra leaves and head back to Kenshi's gym.

Blackflare looked up "boys I got a target for you the dragon cop, beat him up! right outside Kenshi's gym show we mean business" he chuckled and three dragons ran one flew off and the other two jumped up on the roofs.

Flamedra was just near the doors when the three dragons arrived and blocked his way in "little dragon spying doesn't pay"
"we going to give you pain"
"and show Kenshi we mean business"
"Try it" he said looking at the three as the dragons in the gym came out hearing this and Kenshi septed out as well.
"attck!" all three went in at once.
Flamedra smiled then he did a cartwheel booting one of them with his claw foot in the underside of the snout kncoking the winged one back the others went for him kicking and punching he used his garlets to block a double punch then he locked them in a postion and twisted around and pulled over his head throwing them both to a wall they put their claw feet to the wall and pushed off.
Flamedra then pull his garlets back and smirked "here is one for the books, Fire Wave!" he pushed forwards and a wave of flames appeared in a flash the instant it appeared blow the other two backwards into the ally across the road hitting the bins and landing on their backs both unable to believe what happened. the winged one got up and charged at him Flamedra quickly turned around and put a arm around him swinging around then the other free arm he had the garlet neck to the dragon's neck. "Tell Blackflare this, I am coming for him and he will be in a cell by the end of the season. His not escaping the law for the last time. Now get out of here before I do something worse to you" Flamedra let go and booted him in the back sending him flying into the other dragons that just got up landing on them. they then got up and ran for their lives.
"That Blackflare is a right dark creep" Flamedra growled under his breath

Kenshi saw what had happened with Flamedra and the three dragons, and approached him as they left. "What in dragon heaven's name were you thinking!" he snapped. "I told you I don't allow fights outside the arenas! Even if it's against Blackflare's bastards! He knows he can't touch this gym, and I got the proof why!"
One dragon, a thin dragon like Flamedra but is dark green in color and with plantigrade legs, stepped up next to the human. "I'm the family lawyer and I know that Blackflare has been trying to find way to close this gym down, but I've been making sure he can't do anything to it but only under one condition, and it's time I tell you all now."
The others, even Fong and Kale who joined them outside, listened intently.
The green dragon continued. "To make sure Blackflare never touches this gym again, Kenshi, is that you have to take a dragon to the tournament and win the championship. That way, he has no chance to take the gym."

one of Blackflare's students listened from behind a wall then left he found Blackflare waiting around the corner "Sir Kenshi going to enter the tourument."
"Then lets start taking his dragon student out one by one. start with Kale the young one, report back with your human friend gang the Red Claw once you taken care of all of them" Blackflare left and the dragon looked back and listened on.

Kenshi calmed down some after the news, but turned to Flamedra with a stern. "You and I are going to have a private talk. My office, now."
The crowd starts to head back inside the gym, with Kale close to his grandfather as they were the some of the first to enter.

Meanwhile, just as Blackflare left, a human figure in a black jacket appeared behind the dragon student. "It does seem quite apparant that you people just don't play fair anymore," he remarked. "I've always liked grudge matches in tournaments."

"It how the dice rolls and I am making sure that kid don't get far in it and if he wants to train Dragons then let him be one." Blackflare looked over at the human "I left him a little gift from a friend a friend" Blackflare chuckled. "a old power that once open to a human they will be come a dragon and usually go mad from being changed like that"

Flamedra walked in with Kenshi and he picked up a box and had stamped on it from the toururment with the offical markings on it. "Look I was only defencing myself they took the first blow at me. what do I do let them beat me up. I know the laws and they acted first" he showed a mark on his garlet from a claw mark. but Kenshi looked at the packet and start to open it hoping it was what he needed to get in unaware of what was inside.

"It's not the fact that you were defending yourself from those thugs," Kenshi replied. "It's the question on why you were forced to defend yourself! I don't need anyone trying to defend me on a personal matter! As if you haven't noticed, I'm no tournament trainer just buy having others fight for me." He paused as he placed the package on the desk, labeled with official tournament markings before he turned back to Flamedra. "What ever personal business you have with Blackflare, you leave it out of this gym."

"I haven't got a personally issue with him I just went to see his Gym see why he was threating to close thi s place done ok. I left without even causing a problem then you know the rest those three jump me when I was returning" Flamedra crossed his arms after putting his garlets down on the table.

then a messenger dragon came in with wings folded back. "Messenge for Kenshi, I have been asked to read it out at once" he then look at it "Kenshi There will be a sparing match and I will personally have a fight with your new dragon Flamedra. I thought that I check up on him and found out that he is a police officer one that was around each time the police arrested me and found out nothing on me. so we will sparier in your gym tomorrow night me and the dragon Flamedra lets see what his made of. If he wins I will let you keep him but if I win he will train at my gym no matter what. accept the challenge or I win by defealt and you lose Flamedra. reply in 2 hours or I take that as a no" the messenger Dragon said then look at Kenshi ", from Blackflare what is your reply mr Kenshi?"

Mac walked into the Gym, just as the messnger delivered his message. "I can answer you muself" He said sharply. "He'll take the challenge, and wipe the dirt with however you put up. I have confidence in my friend. So take that message to Blackflare, and tell him to start measuriing for prison drapes"

"Mac this up to the coacth to choose, this isn't for prison as well it in a postion about me where I train it seem like Blackflare wants to do this so if I lose i end up training at his place and if I win I stay here. that the agreement." Flamedra said to Mac then look at the messenger dragon
"Don't worry I will not say that to Blackflare this is only for Mr Kenshi to choose not anyone else" He leaves the gym.
"sorry about that this is my police partner Mac and a friend. Whatever you choose will have nothing to do with the police right Mac this is outside police matters and within the law" Flamedra said to Kenshi then look at Mac

I'm well aware of that. But Blackflare does have a criminal record, and if his gym members go too far, It will become a matter cfor the police" Mac replied.

"I understand Mac we have to prove it as well till we can there nothing we can do till the spy in the police network is found" Flamedra replied
