I am a bit skeptical as to why you decided to bring a Star Wars character into a medieval RP.

well we want to keep it in the spirit of the rp
so keeping the design, but chs\anging the material its made out of would be one thing
so say steel...

I figured the material would need to be changed-
The under suit can be a tough leather, and the armor itself can be steel

Well, the armor design won't affect much(other than the fact that alot of Medieval peasent folk would be wondering why there was a guy in futuristic armor walking around

I was actually going to include mandalorian culture in the rp- so it wouldn't be classed as futuristic. Although the mandalorians could be a rare sight in the current land he's in- so that could describe the oddity?
