This site blocked?

This sucks! When I try to get onto this site via the school's wifi, it has the inapropriate content screen come up. That's like what you'd expect to see when you try to go on playboy.com not this site. This site does not have inappropriate content. What's up with that? (By the way I would never go to playboy.com especially not on a school's internet connedtion!)

It's not blocked at my school. I only log on here when I'm the only one in the room.

I would too except that I have a sort of screeen cover that you put over the screen and it makes it impossible for anyone else to see the screen who's off to the side. It also makes it so if you are more that two feet away from the screen, even if you are looking straight at it, you can't see anything on it - it looks like it's off.

Most schools block forums (any forum site) for obvious reasons. It doesn't bug me. I just wait until I get home on an unrestricted connection. About all I'd need on a school computer is access to my email, cnn.com and bbc.co.uk Otherwise it can wait until I get home.

When my computer busted a couple years ago, I walked up to the school to use their computer to post up a message stating what happened. I was able to access this site just fine.

I went on this site several times at the school, both when I was a student and that time when I had to post the message while I had no working computer at home. No one ever said anything to me about it.

I don't have time to go to the library during lunch cause first off I have to meet my friends who consits of six people and second the library is ALWAYS busy! <_<

I personally wouldn't try to get on here unless I'm the only one there, but if I did there would probably be that annoying message saying it's not allowed or not appropriate for the schoolboard. Blagh

I hate when that message comes up. But there's that small chance that I get the green light on the computer and am able to log in. But I'll only do it if everyong there had earmuffs and a blindfold on. because I'm terrified of what my classmates'll say if they found out I loved LBT.

GOF isn't blocked at my high school; I got on it once just after lunch when I had five minutes and we had our computers on in CPSS (Careers Planning & Success Skills), so I got on to see if there were any new posts in my Ask Me topic, and it came up fine, it even let me log into my account.

I used to be able to access the GoF a couple of years back, but by now the whole 'invisionfree' has been blocked. The new address for the GoF opens up new possibilities!

(However I have not been able to check thanks to the holidays)

I now know i can get on it at svhool. But there's a catch, I can only go on if I'm on a teachers account, and since I'm a library helper at my school (I work there at lunch time. Doing your average library stuff, checking in and out books, putting away books, going on GOF. You know, that kind of stuff.) I can get on there. But I don't think I'll be able to use it on my account.
