Just watched the finale. Dear God in Heaven, it was far better than I ever expected it to be.
*Was NOT expecting an entirely new villain to show up. While Chrysalis not as awesome as Discord in my opinion, she was still pretty unexpected. And the clones from the ads are finally explained.
*As ridiculously sappy as this is going to sound (I'm going to have to play A LOT of M Rated Shooters to get my manliness meter back up), I liked that for once it wasn't the Elements of Harmony that defeated the villain; but instead the power of love. It would have been too predictable if defeating the villain was a repeat of dealing with Nightmare Moon and Discord.
*Luna appearing in the episode was... interesting. On one hand, it's a relief to see her at a gathering once more. On the other, I can imagine that there will be comics ripping on her absence from the fight against the changelings.
*What a day for me though, I watch TV and see two new awesome villains!
SEASON RECAP:
*Twilight goes insane.
*Applejack didn't learn anything.
*Canon Luna, Future Twilight, and Discord are awesome.
*Rainbow Dash's Third Rainboom.
*Derpy speaks.
While the wait for Season Three will be hard, I've got Legend of Korra and Red vs. Blue to keep me satisfied. Oh and I finally got an Xbox Live account.
