I never really got into Digimon as a kid. I was mainly into Pokemon at the time. I watched the first season but stopped at the beginning of the second (I was angry that Tai had been replaced as the main character

). Have you watched or heard of Digimon Tri? It's the continuation of the original characters but they're in high school now.

I'm a veeeeery big fan of digimons.

I watched all the seasons, playing all videogames and reading all manga. As for me, TRI is more like shonen than kodomo. Yes, the visual part of the season far exceeds all previous parts, but there are no good old adventures, where children get into a dangerous and unexplored digital world. This is a drawback. Everything to be shown, we saw in Digimon Adventure 02, soooo... I can rate this season on B-.

Yea I agree that Tri hasn't been that interesting so far. I've been watching it with my roommate out of curiosity. I'm not sure how I feel about all the main digimon getting rebooted and losing their memories, but being back in the digimon world again might be promising.
