This one is tough.

If its an album artist where a person sings, then my favorite is Billy Joel.  He's one of the better singer/songwriters and he's still making albums to this day, so that tells you something about his longetivity.

My specialty is soundtracks/scores and compositions.  Its impossible to pick a favorite because each composer has a different style.  If I'm in the mood for a certain theme, then that's what I'll choose because most every film has a major theme it is based around (i.e. the Jurassic Park theme).  Most of the stuff I have is done by John Williams, James Horner, Yoko Kanno, and Joe Hisaishi.

I'm more for individual songs than artists/albums. I'm a BIG Morrissey fan, I love Green Day, and The Killers.

My favorite albums are, I guess:
Strangeways, Here I Come by The Smiths and American Idiot by Green Day. Good stuff.

I think I'll never be able to answer a question such as this one.
My broad style of music makes it impossible.  B)
And I'm fine with that.

Unlike a lot of favorites of mine, this one hasn't shifted over the years. This has been my favorite singer ever since I first picked out who I liked best. Her name is Jennifer Stigile, and she is most known for her Japanese gaming music from what I've researched. I can show you guys some examples of her singing:

A little about her can be found here:

I do not have a favorite album at this point in time.

I love Madonna's "Ray of Light" and Norah Jones' "Come Away With Me". I also like Janet Jackson's "janet". My favorite artists include Madonna, Janet Jackson, Michelle Branch, Bullet for my Valentine, Linkin park, One Republic, Five for Fighting, Within Temptation, Evanescence, Natalie Imbruglia, Enya, Blue Foundation, 30 seconds to Marz, U2, Rush, Paramore, and Lyyke Li. Oh, and Lady Gaga.

Oh, and another one of my favorite albums is Bryan Adams' "Waking Up the Neighbors". Seriously, if I'm in the mood for pure rock and roll, all I need to do is go to my room and turn it on. One of the best rock albums ever.
