I wouldn't say that.  That's just an accusation.  All because Grandpa doesn't cry doesn't make Universal sexist.  If they wanted him to cry, they would have let him cry.  I just think it's because of his status or he was never given an emotional chance to do it.

He was---both of the times Grandma cried (except in 4)

To be honest, I'm actually really glad Grandpa doesn't cry, but I just think it strange that given all the times Grandma has cried and he's seemed equally, if not more upset, he would too.

Then you basically just contradicted your question.  If he was given then the chance, then he did cry.  So basically both did, just not at equal times, that's all.

He was given the chance, but he didn't cry, was my point.

Then the only thing left is that the writer didn't want him to.  So throughout all the times, he was given a chance.  The writers didn't want him to cry so they gave the actor a script saying not to.

Or the artist something saying, "don't draw him crying"

But yes, I'm actually glad he doesn't cry, more like the fact that Grandma does makes her look weaker, which I don't like.

But he isn't...all because he doesn't cry doesn't mean he is weak.

Just because he doesn't cry doesn't mean that he's weak.

No, what I meant to say is the fact that Grandma cries makes her look weaker.

Oh, well she can't help that.  For peaks sake, her husband was dying (in the fourth movie).  If my spouse was dying, I would sure get emotional and probably teary eyed.

Ok, ok, but Grandma got 2 other crying scenes afterwards.

Well she thought her son was going to leave her and was releived when Littlefoot said otherwise (movie 10)  I would feel the same way if I thought my son would abandon me, then turns out, he's staying.

As for Bron, I don't think his heart is made out of stone.  He just isn't as emotional.  Besides, he only showed up twice in the LBT world.

Okay. I just have one more comment to make. You accidentally made an error in your last post. I won't tell you what it is, so see if you can find it yourself. Good luck.   :lol

What? Bron appearing twice in LBT?  Does he show up more.  I don't think so, so it has to be the one where Littlefoot's grandparents are crying when they found out their son is returning.  But I'm pretty sure that's accurate too.

Oh, misspelled relieve.  Just a simple typo.  I make those alot.  I don't really like feel that spelling counts on the forum.

Anyway, that was way off topic.  back to what I was saying, I don't remember her crying in the second movie.  When was that taken place?

She didn't cry in the second movie. She doesn't cry until 4.

But why doesn't the Grandpa?

Also the Grandma did it in 2 of the early sequels

I mistaken in your post for when you said "did it in 2".  I thought you meant in movie 2.  So embarrassed.  :bolt
