The Fridge / TIME'S RUNNING OUT
« on: March 25, 2013, 05:49:42 PM »
I got a 1990 Volvo and it still runs like a charm! :)

All I can say is just bide your time, your money, and look for ANY car that can go. Do not stress yourself about what year it is. Just find a car that works and will not cost too much in maintenance.

Gamers Zone / Kinect's secret agenda
« on: February 25, 2013, 02:13:10 PM »
I already mentioned why I am glad I never bought this thing. I never thought that this gaming device could be used for so many other things. I could’ve bought this thing just to play games without any knowledge of someone spying on me. At first, I thought it was just a motion gimmick used to play games as me for a controller. Apparently, this thing does more than that!

I'm really glad I did not buy this device. It is absolutely weird that this flawed device  originally used for playing mediocre games and with horrible controls for playing a game has other amazing uses.  This tool does a better job at other things than playing Sonic Free Riders.

Here is the video

The Fridge / Music while you work.
« on: December 07, 2012, 05:43:14 PM »
What music do you listen to while you work? What kind of music do you listen to? Are there any music you dislike?

I mostly listen to video game music while I work on a project. Here are a few examples:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L_er0ESaErU,
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HjU-j2Ia7kY,

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-c-1jT74qwI.

My favorite genre of music to listen to is jazz! Paul hardcastle: Golden Gate, Eric Darius: Secret Soul, and Paul Taylor: Eastbay Bounce. I use to listen to hip hop when I was in high school, but I stopped listening to it because it is too hardcore for my taste. Especially, todays hip hop. I’ll listen to the hip hop instrumentals such as this:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d1Np-CDCZjQ.

The music I mainly listen to is electronic pogo-style music. Here is an example:

What  music do you listen to?

The Fridge / Do you outline, script, or rough draft your work?
« on: November 13, 2012, 04:52:35 PM »
Quote
Is this only regarding work with dialogue (stories, comics) or does this include drawings themselves?

For me, I was refering to making scripts for my comics. And making rough drafts, and mock-ups for other things.

This topic is regarding about making rough drafts, outlining a project, scripting something, and why.

The Fridge / Do you outline, script, or rough draft your work?
« on: November 13, 2012, 10:40:38 AM »
As I create this post during my free time, I'm going to ask you all this question; do you outline, script, or rough draft your work?  I've always been told if you are going to start a project, create a mock-up, script, and or rough draft. It's always best that you have a clear idea of what you are going to make rather than just make things from the top of your head. I've taken this to consideration because I want to make a good story rather than rely on pretty pictures.

I'll admit, when I was younger, I never scripted my comics as I just kept going with the flow of whatever came up in my imagination. Now that I look back into those comics, I realize how muddled some of the dialog and the story were. Most of these comics I'm referring to are Tinker & Pinker. It contained nice character models, but everything else could've been so much better. Then again, you do learn from experience and from your previous accomplishments.

Whenever I nedd to get something done, I just make whatever I can.
So, what do you all do?

The Fridge / What is your favorite season?

Since I live down in the south, my favorite season would have to be winter because I prefer cool weather over hot or humid days.

The Fridge / How much sleep do you get?
« on: June 02, 2012, 05:08:23 PM »
Sleep. It’s something I should be doing every night; it affects everything from my mood to my quality of life. They say that the recommended amount of sleep is eight hours. I often try to get eight hours of sleep, but sometimes I'll end up sleeping for seven hours or over sleep for ten hours. Their are times when I feel drowsy whenever I wake up or I end up feeling restless later in the night.

I hate sleeping less than seven hours. It amazes me of how some people can manage life with only four hours of sleep. I can't even imagine myself living like that. I knew a guy name Juan whom sleeps for only five hours and drinks coca-coffee every morning.

How much sleep do you get? Do you enjoy the amount of sleep you get?

The Fridge / Ever been asked an awkward request?
« on: April 28, 2012, 07:53:38 PM »
While I was at work yesterday, some guy asked me if I would make sure that no women come into the womens restroom otherwise, he says he will literally s@#$ his pants. He couldn't use the mens room because someone is already using both the toilets. I wasn't sure what to think. Except the fact that this guy is :crazy . I couldn't tell him no because he was a customer and the manager was in her office so I just said "Okay, go ahead." Thankfully, no women needed to go and the guy took at least three minutes. There were a few people that saw this but didn't pay to much heed to it.

I hope I never have this kind of experience again.  :x

Since you are taking requests, could you make a Lanturn sculpture or clay doll?

In all honesty, I thought season two was far better than the last one. The humor improved, the story became slightly more interesting, the music improved greatly as well as the animation! I'm looking forward to the next season. :)

1988 Theatrical Release / What could have made the 1st movie better?
« on: April 27, 2012, 06:21:40 PM »
Anyway, back on topic, the one of many things that I think could have made the movie better is having a more in-depth special features on the disc and make the movie slightly longer.

Thank you! I had a decent birthday. I had to go to work but after that, me and my family did not eat cake this time. We just had some triple sherbet ice cream and chocolate oreos which was good! :wub
