Man, YouTube is full of it. Let's not like the show was a big hit or anything. If anything you were spreading awareness of it. Removal of the songs was bull, too. Not like they have a CD out or anything.
I'd love to know where these big wigs get off deleting videos to properties they aren't even doing anything with anymore. If they were compiling a CD to sell in Wal-Mart, I would see why they deleted the songs off of pokeplayer's channel, but they're not.
The thing is, the videos on my channel were big enough to actually make money off of them.  Universal could've really taken advantage of that, ya know.

Exactly. I don't think Universal would have any problem making a deal with YouTube to make money off a channel to host LBT vids. And hell, they wouldn't even have to lift a finger, they could just give you a bite of the pie out of every bit of money made on viewing to actually post them and maintain the channel.
Ads would be annoying, but I'd be willing to tolerate them. I believe the current percentage YouTube hosters for bigwig companies is 1% monthly. So if a thousand people viewed in a month, you would get a hundred bucks, which is essentially a cart full of food from a grocery store.

Well if they were Copyright Strikes, how is your account still standing? You can only get 3 of those before the account is closed (and you said that multiple vids were taken down), at least from what I heard. Content ID Matches, on the other hand, you can get many of those without getting a strike. I have a lot of those.

Okay, I guess I should go into further detail.

Anyways, I did get the pink sheet, showing 3 strikes. (All from Universal) However, they had me take a little something called "Copyright School" where you had to watch a video about copyright and answer some questions. (I guess they did that since I got all 3 practically at the same time.) I got 100% and that allowed me to get back into my account and remove the videos that had copyright strikes on them. (Think of it as a second chance sort of thing.)

Every episode and song (unmodified versions) were marked as "disabled".  I removed them to be on the safe side.

For now, I have abandoned the LBTUploader Account.  I will go back into it when I do my little contest next month, but other than that, nothing new will come from it.

Ha?

I've got 3 Copyright Strikes and my account was deleted instantly. There was no chance to recover anything from my account.

This new "Copyright School" appears on every Copyright Strike you get. On my new account I've got my first Copyright Strike and was taken to the "Copyright School". I've answered all questions without watching the video.

However, YouTube now marks almost everything you upload with "Third Party Content". I've created and uploaded one of my own songs (I've created them 100% by myself) and YouTube nevertheless marked one of my songs with "Third Party Content". o.O I was so angry because it was MY material and immediately disputed the copyright claim, but nothing happened.
I've lately uploaded a song of an unknown artist and got only like... 100 or 200 views, and got a Copyright Strike for it. Thanks, YouTube.

In your case, it's sad that so many videos were marked as "Third Party Content". Most companies just don't get that YouTube is meant for PROMOTION.

Yeah, really. YouTube could work just a TV for them if they wanted. TVs get money on ratings and ad time. Same goes for any site with ad time. With so many people on online, they could safely put popular content that's already come and gone on there and expect cash.

Wait, so I updated something I made for scratch, it could get marked for being "third party material"? Ugh.

Must be something wrong with the Content ID Match I guess. It is strange that material that was 100% produced by the uploader would be marked. This might be a mistake. The best thing to do would be to dispute the claim and, if possible, explain it was marked as third party content by mistake.

Yeah, try to dispute the claim. I've done it several times and it worked on my music videos. But sometimes they don't work and the copyright claim still remains. It depends on your video or your explanation in disputing the claim.

Can't be done.  The videos have already been removed.  In the simplest sense, deleted.

Even if I could, what explanation could I give?  It would have to be something good to make it stay. (Plus, due to length limits, it would have to be short and sweet.)

You would think YouTube could afford to have people on staff who could look into this sort of thing.

Hey guys, I decided to look up "The Land Before Time" on YouTube, and guess what?  My LBTUploader channel actually ends up on the first page. (10th result)

No wonder Universal came after me.

Anyways, it won't be too much longer.  The videos will be posted at the special place soon.  Plans to put them up will begin by July.

See ya then! :)

Okay guys!  I tried uploading one on Dailymotion and they rejected it, so I'm trying a different place.

I'll keep you guys updated. :)

EDIT: MySpace didn't allow it.

However, I've found a motherload of places to try.  So I'm not giving up yet. :)

After an exhaustive search, there's no Video Sharing Site for me to put them at. (Yep, they aren't allowed at any of them.) I have to reduce myself to some of the File Sharing Sites now, and not many of them are that workable with videos.  Only a handful of them can allow you to embed video and most of the time you need the right format to do that.

I'll just end it by saying that this is pretty upsetting to me. -_-

Did you try http://www.4shared.com/, http://megaupload.com/ and http://megavideo.com/?

I've seen full movies uploaded (one person's uploaded 250+ full movies to his/her account, even from Lionsgate and Universal (all 3 jurassic park movies) to Megaupload and watchable on megavideo), music videos, tv episodes, etc. uploaded on all of these websites without any trouble. Most of them were uploaded years or months ago too.

What about Vimeo?
I have considered it, but since it is a partner with Blip, I don't want to risk my chances with losing my current account there.  I have thought about using a separate account with a different e-mail for it, but the 500 MB per week limit does bother me.

Truth be told, they are currently up on 4Shared in a lower format.  However, the problem is that you only get to see up to 7 minutes before you are forced to download it to see the rest.

The other two have problems of their own that I'm not too comfortable with trying to work with when distributing them to the fans.  I will consider them if things don't work out with the last few places I'm willing to try.  Those will at least be better to work with than nothing.

Another site you could try is Veoh.
Tried it before.  I'm banned from there now.
