New Order were actually one of the last disco bands, they soon gave it up and went to something more rock like, they were also the pionners of tecno and house music. Disco died in the middle 80's when Tony Wilson and Factory Records opened a club in Manchester called the Hacienda, a musical revolution started there where people began to aplaude the DJ instead of the band or the music, that's when todays disco music started, I'm not a real fan of it, over here there aren't any discos that play New Order so I just don't go to any =p One of that best disco songs ever was Love will tear us apart from Joy division, I recommend it to anyone who likes music it's a bit dark but I guess you'll find it familiar when you listen to it

Not too long ago I bought a glas of peanut butter here, but unfortunately I picked up one with small pieces of peanuts in it. Generally I don't have anything against peanuts, but I have some really problems eating nuts right now, as I'm wearing a brace that is very complicate to clear if pieces of nuts get stuck in it. It's driving me nuts ;)
In general peanut butter is a very, very American food. I remember the quote of a GI who was in England during WW2 waiting for the invasion to begin. Apparently he and his men were not too fond of the British food for he wrote: "I guess the first glass of peanut butter that arrived here from the states saved our all lifes!" :lol:

I absolutely love my laptop as it has all the power my desktop ("normal") computer had and I can take it to and from school. What do you consider worse. A computer with a very slow internet connection, or one where the connection with the mouse is so bad you have real troubles to get the mouse pointer where you want to have it?

(both is the case for the computer I have to use this month :( So my possibilities to post here are seriously limited now) :cry

As for the preferance question, it doesn't mean that you must've visited these particular museums I suppose. But most of us have probably been to a museum with dinosaur skeletons and the like (natural history) or a museum with technical stuff like old and new machines, planes, cars etc. (modern sciences).
Which of these did you like better?

I don't think that either of us was very bored, were you? I think it is mainly because one does feel awkward at times if the one whom one knew as an internet name only suddenly stands right in front of you. Especially in the moments when one can't think of anything to say (I guess this happened to both of us). But I really, really enjoyed our time in London, and I hope so did you. :)

Currently there is an interesting offer for Scotland (interesting because it is a trip organized by the university, and you can pass some tests during it, so you won't have to take them later on), but it is only three weeks long, and the UK is extremely expensive while US is very cheap right now (because the Euro is so high). There is nothing certain yet though.
I'd need to get a job wherever I'm going to go.

And for the second, I choose a console. I never realized how truly complicated a PC could be, and some problems that may occur in a PC. The only time I had problems with a console was when it got fried by a bolt of lightning and we had to get a new one.

3. You don't have to answer everyone's previous questions...just the most recent

4. You don't have to wait for other people to reply to one question...as long as you've answered one, you can post the next...

I think viewing the future 50 years from now. Very useful to change the course of present day to ensure bad things don't happen. If I could view the past more than 50 years, I'd probably choose viewing the past instead.
