"Don't you ever wonder what's out there?" -LBT VII

----

A star flies through space. It has a beautiful glow, almost as if it radiates a rainbow aura...

Current coordinates... Earth...

Something wasn't right about this... Wasn't Earth the name the name of that planet where a great mission took place?

RainbowFaceProtege:
Meanwhile, in a lush, green valley on the planet below, a group of young dinosaurs had gathered for a storytelling session under the glow of the crescent moon.

"It always started on a night like this one, beneath a sky full of stars..."

As she began a new tale, with the light of the magma ridge along the ground providing the  perfect glow for a dramatic ambience, Ruby lifted her hands towards the heavens for emphasis.

"Some would see strange lights, others would hear strange sounds, but in every account, something strange would accompany the arrival..." Ruby continued, trailing off for effect as she turned her gaze towards her audience. "The arrival...of the SKY BEINGS!"

Goldenwind:
(Gonna make a post since there's a lack of activity.  :rhett_smile )

The peaceful little Sharptooth named by fellow leafeaters as "Chomper" listens in awe and excitement as Ruby tells her story. He always enjoy listening them and believes that she makes a great storyteller. "Ooo..." Chomper couldn't wait for Ruby to continue.

RainbowFaceProtege:
Ruby smiled at Chomper before continuing on. "No one knew exactly where the strange creatures came from, or how they came from wherever they came from, but the signs of their arrival always came from somewhere in the sky. By daytime, beings no one had seen before would show up. Usually, there would be at least two of them, and they'd have very colorful coloring. They would join a farwalker herd and travel with them for a while. But they didn't quite act like regular dinosaurs. They seemed to know some extraordinary things, yet sometimes they were amazed at the most ordinary things. Then, before long, the newcomers would leave just as mysteriously as they arrived..." Ruby took on a mysterious smirk as she prepared to finish her tale. "They always departed in the night. Usually, no one would even see them leave. But some did...and they said the creatures were taken up into the sky by a mysterious beam of light! That's how they came to be called the Sky Beings! Could it be that they actually came from the sky? To this day, no one knows for sure!"

rhombus:
Cera rolled her eyes at the conclusion of Ruby's tale, but resisted making an immediate retort.  Instead she carefully fixed her gaze on Littlefoot to make sure that he was not enjoying this story too much.  Knowing him, this story would be all that it would take to invite the possibility of adventure.
