A Happy Valentine's Day (http://hakunaro.deviantart.com/art/LBT-Valentine-s-Day-77342807) to you all!
But I'm bringing also some bad news. :o
I'm not sure why, but I'm losing interest in drawing. This is bad. :(
I don't want to lose my passion. I might just take a break and hope it'll be over soon.
-
Wow. That's really good Sky. Though, Ali seems a bit blueish. I love it! Don't lose your passion! That'd be terrible for us all. :(
-
Sky, nice drawing. Looks like fine postcard. :yes
I'm sure you'll find something, that will inspire you to a new creative progress soon. ;)
-
A very beautiful picture Sky! :yes
There is no point in trying to force oneself into creating art. If one doesn't feel like it the results are likely to turn out poor. But a lack of enthusiasm for a hobby at a given time doesn't necessarily mean that one is bound to give up on it for good. I hope it will be that way for you.
I haven't done any land before time tin figures in a long while and very few drawings. I can blame it not entirely on the other stuff I have to do, but I am quite confident that the day will come for me to pick up pencil, file, or foundry ladle again.
-
Aside from Ali being somewhat off in color, it's pretty good! I love it!
Don't give up! You do great work and it'd be sad to see all this talent of yours go away. I'm sure it's just a phase and will pass soon. :)
-
good drawings! and please don't lose your interest...
-
Have you been drawing a lot lately, that may be part of it.
-
Thank you all.
About the color, I used the TV episode with Ali as help.
And about the drawing, I must thank you all encouraging me. I hope it's just a phase. Though, I have drawn LBT "only" pictures lately.
Maybe it's better to try new things.
-
I love the picture.
I wouldn not give up your liking. You are amazing at it; it would be wasted talent for you. I dould just break for a while, but you should not give up. When I lose interest in my Rubik's Cube, I just stop for a while. Then I pick up the cube again after a week or so and I have interest in it again.
-
You could take a break, or may set a very slow pace for yourself. Like with the comic maybe a slow pace like 1 panel a week or something like that. Perhaps after a set period of time to take a break before you start your slow pace. It may seem less like work that way.
-
Oh, that is just too cute. <3
You did a lovely job with it, especially the coloring.
As for the loss of passion, I'd go with what has already been said. :D
Heh, I know how that is though. I've had to take breaks in writing and drawing several times to get the urge back.
-
Thanks. :^.^:
I'm feeling quite better now. I also got some new ideas. Hmm...

I also got some new ideas. Hmm...
Than, what are you waiting for? Go, and grant some more of your's precious drawings to the world!
-
Thanks for sharing this wonderfull and sweet picture with us Sky. And don¥t give up your work. Please nooo  . I love your artwork, you are my star :( .
-
I'm glad you have regained your interest. Maybe all you needed was to have taken a a short break.
-
Yeah. That must be it. =)
-
Good to hear you'll continue! :) Did Littlefoot get Ali anything for Valentine's Day? :p
-
I'm not sure, if dinosaures are celebrating st. Valentine day.
-
Hello:
Who knows, maybe they can find and give special fruits or something like that :DD .
-
They could have their own special holidays too.
-
I agree that they might have their own holidays but would definitely not celebrate any holiday derived from human religions. Celebrating Valentine's day millions of years before the birth of St. Valentine would be just as unlikely as the dinosaurs celebrating Christmas.
I suppose their celebrations would be more based on observation of nature (e.g. longest / shortest day of the year or the like) or other things that they can sense.

True, those 2 may be among their celibrations, also spring growth of plants and such, perhaps, after the cold times.
