This rp is be a strict LBT roleplay, I will leave my usual character's out of it. If anyone wishes to rpg with me that will be great.

It would be nice if you explained your idea first.

Simply put, tragedy will strike Ali's mother, leaving ali an orphan. littlefoot is then presented with a great challenge, he must begin a new herd, his grandparents are aging, and he is the only young longneck left in his herd. So if his herd is going to survive, he is going to have to make a new one, and ally himself with other young longnecks, including, Ali, Rhette and Shorty.

Hmm... where would I be able to fit in my fav dino of them all Cera lol :) I'd think I will join in and see how this goes.

Daylight dwaned on the Great Valley, as ali stirred. Her mother was still asleep, as was the rest of her herd. "another great day" She said to herself, time to find Littlefoot, cera and the others." She got up, stretched, and started on her way. "Ali?' Her mother said softly. 'Yes, mother?' Ali stopped. "Go ahead and play with your friends, but be home when the Great circle disappears."Her mother(whose namne was Anne) said "yes, mom, I will.' Ali smiled and headed off across the great valley. Her herd had returned her for a time to rest , ands she was glad for it., she had been able to reunite with her good friends littlefoot, Cera, Duckie, Petrie , and Spike.

Cera just woken up and went off to find the others to go and play unaware that Ali had arrived in the GReat Valley as she raced through the open plains to the meeting place for her and her friends.

littlefoot was asleep when ali reached him, His herd was the closest to hers. "littlefoot?' She said softly and playfully to him. "Wake up .. or else..."
Littlefoot's eyes fluttered, "Hey, Ali!" he said, stirring upon seeing her. "
Good you're awake."Ali said. "Come on. "let's go find the others."

OOC:Great thanks! :) I just have one question do you want me to roleplay Shorty now or later? My guess is Shorty won't appear into the roleplay until a little bit later But I just wanted to ask your opinion If I could play him now or you want me to play him later on in the roleplay.
BIC:Petrie yawned loudly. "It a beautiful day today. Me have to go find the others maybe they not to busy to play today." Petrie said and with that he flew off in search of Little Foot Cera or any of them for that matter. He had not seen Any of them so far so Petrie flew off to find Little Foot. He flew over to Little Foot and Ali's herd. He landed right by Little Foot and his herd. He had not even seen Ali yet "Hi, Littlefoot. Me been looking for you. You see Ducky, Spike, or Cera yet"? He asked his friend. He noticed Littlefoot talking to someone he turned around and much to his surprise he saw Ali. "Ali?It long time since we last saw you. Me was thinking maybe we could all play together. " Petrie said. "Rhett be mad if we went off to play without him"? Petrie asked knowing full well Rhett was a part of Ali's herd and he didn't want Rhett to be angry if they had decided to go off without him.
(If Rhett isn't in Ali's herd I will simply edit it. I'm going off the TV series since we only saw Rhett once and in that episode Rhette's herd had joined with Ali's.)

Cera dashed up out of some bushes "boo!" she yelled out.

"ME miss you to Ali. Me think we should find others now, They probably looking for us now."Petrie said.
Shorty meanwhile had just waken up his herd wasn't to far away from Littlefoot's but there were so many herds with Longnecks in them he had forgotten Littlefoot and his friends lived here. He wasn't watching where he was going and accidently bumped into Little Foot. "HEY Why don't you watch where you're goin you.......... Oh hey uhhhhhhhhh....... "Shorty said not knowing he had bumped into until he noticed this was the same longneck he had met quite a while ago he couldn't really recall what his name was. "Little Foot right? I didn't know you lived here Me and my herd just got here not to long ago.
"Oh, hi Shorty me haven't seen you for a while neither" Petrie said smiling at him.
Shorty was terrible with names so he just smiled at Petrie. "I missed you too " He finally said.
"Maybe you come play with us too? It up to Littlefoot but maybe you come play with us." Petrie said.
Shorty looks over at Ali with a small smile.
"Oh, Me forgot to tell you Ali this is..............."Petrie started.
"My name's Shorty" Shorty interrupted. "What's your name"? Shorty asked.

'Cera!" Ali exclaimed. "It's good to see you again" Cera's attempt to scare them had not worked. "My herd just stopped in late last night, We'll be here for a few weeks, consider it like a pit stop."

"I'm ali' Ali said. "Nice to meet you she said to shorty. "Shorty's my adopted brother, he lives with my dad" Littlefoot said. "good to have you around Shorty"

"Let's see, with Rhette, that would gives us 4 longnecks. How about Longnecks vs. all in hide and seek?' Ali suggested to them. "You would have more members, so you guys would have the advantage.

But since he had just seen Shorty and Ali her attempt to scare the rest of them didn't go as well because he was to excited in seeing Ali and Shorty again he didn't really notice Cera trying to scare them.
" Really nice to meet you Ali. Little Foot didn't tell me anything about you. I think the Boys vs. Girls Hide and Seek game is a great idea. But frankly I'd just be happy if we played Hide and Seek. I specifically remember a swimmer and a Spike Tail where are they?" Shorty asked.
"Oh Ducky and Spike?Me no see them either Me think we should find them first before starting the game. Me gonna go find them". Petrie said taking off in search of Spike and Ducky.

Shorty smiled at Cera. "Nice to see you again to Cera. " Shorty said. He turned to ALi though he couldn't help wonder where was Ali and her herd when he had met Littlefoot? He would have thought he would have seen Ali there since a lot of the longnecks were there.
"Like I said it's really up to you. Either way works for me."Shorty said to Ali. He was just about to ask Petrie but he had flown off to get the others. "We could ask the flyer........ I mean uhhhhhhhh Petrie when he gets back"Shorty said.

We've gotten to know a lot of friends Shorty. Ali here.. is er.. a really good friend of mine..' He blushed slightly, which shorty caught and smiled fiendishly. "what?" he asked.

"Ummm....... Oh it's nothing" Shorty said with the same smile he knew there was something more to Little Foot and Ali then just being best friends. He could see it from a mile away.
Just then Chomper and Ruby walked up.
"Hello everyone it's a beautiful day today to play with all of my friends. And who are you?"Ruby asked.
Shorty was to afraid to talk when he saw Chomper.

These kids didn't seem at all afraid of Chomper and Shorty had a feeling if they were brave enough to be friends with him so was he. And anyway Chomper was smiling at him and any mean sharptooth would never be smiling to begin with. "Hi, I'm Shorty."
Chomper looked at Ali. "Hi Ali I was wondering when I was gonna see you again I really missed you"Chomper said.
"Why hello Shorty I'm Chomper. I really hope I didn't scare you. I am extremely nice and would never want to hurt anyone. Even if I am a sharptooth. And this is Ruby I moved in to the Great Valley from the Myserious beyond. How come I have never seen you here? You might be Little Foot's adoptive brother. But Spike is Ducky's adoptive brother and he lives in the Great Valley with Ducky. So why don't you live with Littlefoot and his grandparents?" Chomper asked.
"Well it's hard to explain you see Littlefoot's father Bron is a leader of a herd. Now I decided to stay with Bron and since he's a leader of a herd they couldn't come to the Great Valley. Like I said it's kind of complicated but it is really nice to meet you Chomper" Shorty said.
" Well hello Littlefoot. And it is very nice to meet you to Shorty. Any adoptive brother of Littlefoot's a friend of mine"Ruby said.

(that strange... I watched the Great Longneck Test and Shorty met Chomper and didn't seem to be phased by Chomper at all almost like he knew about chomper already but I guess you two haven't seen that one yet)

(I haven't I don't know where you live but here in New Jersey we only get the reruns right now. But hopefully it'll show New Episodes soon. Would the Great Longneck Test to the Longnecks be the Equivelant of the Great Day of the Flyers to the Flyers?)

(I would play Rhett but if Threehorn wants him instead I'll give him Rhett I just don't want to seem nasty or mean by taking all of the characters.)
"Well okay buyt you have to show me how to break rocks with my head like you do" Shorty says finding a Pile of rocks. He stands near the pile. "You just stand right here and you move your tail back as far as it can go then hit it as hard as you can like this. HEE-YAH"He hit one of the bigger rocks and sent it flying 5 to six feet away from the rest of the gang.

Rhett yawns and walks up to the rest of the gang. Up on hearing what Littlefoot said. He walked up with a cocky smile."Not me I can do anything I've been cracking rocks with my head for months now." He lied.
Shorty just rolled his eyes. "Sure you can" Shorty said not believing a word of what Rhette just said.
"Who is he? He really seems to love to brag a lot"Shorty asked Littlefoot.
"Oh hello Rhett it is nice to see you again"Ruby said.
"Same old Rhett" Chomper said to himself.
"Well, my name's Shorty." Shorty said.

You can't just go around making stuff up..Anyway, Rhette is another member of my herd.. and Shorty here is Littlefoot's adopted brother.'

Rhett looks down sadly. "Make stuff up? All right maybe I made that other stuff up but not this I can do that easy" Rhett cried defensively. The truth was he often made up those stories so other kids didn't think he was weak. He wanted everyone to think he was cool and strong. And often it was hard for Rhett to make new friends. So he felt lying was the best way to do that.
"Wait a minute he beat up Sharpteeth? Rhett, I didn't know you did that. You got to show me how to do that"Shorty said not catching on to what Ali was pointing out that Rhett had lied about that.

"Where's Ducky, Petrie, and Spike?" Rhett said almost before Shorty could finish his sentece dropping the conversation to avoid himself looking like a complete lying idiot.

"Oh that's good I could play either way I am a master at Hide and Seek."Rhette said for the first time actually saying something that was quite truthful he was often really good at Hiding places and even better at finding out where other people were hiding.
"Yeah, Hopefully Petrie finds Ducky and SPike soon so we can play"Ruby replied.

"Thanks Shorty what can me say? Me natural born flyer. And Littlefoot's head make nice landing area." Petrie said. "Oh Hey Rhett" Petrie said.

"So did you find Ducky and Spkie so we could play Hide and Seek before the Great Circle drops down for the day?" Ruby asked.
"Me sure did They be here in a little while"Petrie said.

Alright, so the teams are Ali, cera, ducky and ruby against Chomper, Me, petrie, Rhette, Shorty and Spike. 6 against 4. Do you girls want to have one of us on your team, so it's 5 on 5?' Littlefoot asked the girls, who had lined up together.

Petrie gives Ducky a hug happy to see his friend again. "Hey Ducky me been looking for you and Spike for long while now."Petrie said.
"Well I don't know All though I think we could beat the boys It mgiht be more fair to us if we had one boy on our team. Then it would be 6 boys vs. five girls."Ruby said.

"Well I think we should choose Rhett he did say he was a master of Hide and Seek. I know he lied in the past but this is one instance where I really think he's actually as good at Hide and Seek as he says he is. And I think if he is as good as he says he is he would be a great addition to the girls team What do you think?Cera? Ali? Ducky?" Ruby whispered as the girls got into a huddle .

"Eh...He's lied about a lot of things .. so its hard to trust him when he says something.." Ali said..."I've learned that the hard way... If I had to pick It would be littlefoot, or shorty, before I'd pick Rhette. I'll go with Littlefoot, but we'll have majority goes, in other words, if the rest of you girls want Rhette, he'll be the guy we pick.."

The rest of us, will figure out a plan... most likely the girls will want us to hide first.. so let's plan out where we're going to hide..' His voice dropped to a whisper.

Ruby looked over at Rhett and narrowed her eyes a bit. Ali was right of course Rhett couldn't be trusted it would take a while for Rhett to earn back the trust of Ali and Ruby as well."Even though I do not know him very well I have no reason to not trust him and I don't think anyone else does either so I think I will change my vote and vote for Shorty instead" Ruby said.

"cera's not helping" Littlefoot thought to himself. he thought he detected some teasing in her voice, Cera didn't particularly like Rhette, and cera wasn't someone who hid whether she liked or disliked someone.. if she didn't like you, she let you know it..

Rhett looked down on the ground feeling really sad about not being on their team. But Rhett had to hide it pretty well He felt like crying. But Rhett thought crying and being sad was a sign of weakness. And he really didn't want to seem weak especially not to Littlefoot and Ali and Cera. Rhett turned to Cera with a cold and angry stare his eyes almost looking a hole throguh Cera. Rhett muttered under his breath as he saw Cera mocking him. Shorty walked over happily. "Hey thanks for voting for me. So what's the plan"?He whispered to the girls trying to figure out who's gonna hide where and who's gonna search where.

Ducky looked around for just about anybody as well. But she had a feeling she knew where Spike was. The bushes were somewhere Spike would hide the most. It was like his own special hiding place. Ducky looked all around the bushes for Spike.
"Now if only there was a way for me to get up that tree and find Petrie. Fliers are real good at Hide and seek" Ruby said.

"There's no way I could find Petrie he's probably hiding in the highest branch so unless I was given the power to fly I don't think I can ever get all the way up there" Ruby said.

Ali arched her back and leaned up against the tree as far as she could. Her forearms were fairly close to the top, if Ruby managed to climb over her, she would have little problem reaching the top of the trunk..

Ruby gave a concerned expression as if asking if she was sure if she wanted to do this. She didn't want to hurt Ali or anything. "Ummmm........ Thanks Ali. That's a very kind gesture I really appreciate it." Ruby said climbing up on to Ali's back and climbing the tree it was much easier with the much needed boost from Ali. She got to the top of trunk in no time. "I sure hope Petrie is in this tree. After getting up here all this way he better be"Ruby said looking for Petrie in the branches.

(I am lost anyway... I can't keep up with three rpgs while here. I have to limit to two cause I will have no time to post 3, maybe 2 but 3 iis going to be very hard. I will try to keep up. (I think you may mean someone else cause Chomper wasn't in the log. I didn't remember teleporting him to a different hiding place and according to this I put he was hiding in bushes instead of Grass. My bad!)

Spike was not the brightest of spiketails, although spiketails were notoriously slow-witted anyway. He finally made up his mind, darn it being caught, he wanted the treestar.. Dashing out of the brush he grabbed the treestars and began chewing.. he heard cEra chuckle in triumph but he didn't care.. he was getting something to eat..

But Shorty had a little plan himself he had seen what Cera did. And it gave him a little idea of his own. He smirked to himself. His plan was one that he thought could really work. He cleared his throat. "You know it's to bad Rhett isn't here if he was I'd tell him how dumb I thought he was but Unfortunately Rhett isn't here I guess I have to keep on searching. " Shorty said as loud as he could.
Of course he didn't really think Rhett was dumb this was just his plan to get him out of his hiding place. And sure enough it worked. Cause at that very moment Rhett jumped out from behind the tree he was hiding behind. "Hey who do you think you're calling dumb Shorty? " Rhett said angrily.

Suddenly her eyes fklew open wide, those were raptors! They were numerous and they clearly had seen them. "ALI!' Anne called. "You must get back to the valley as soon as possible. Hurry! Run!' She Turned and Ali did too. The Raptors were now clearly visible, they were terribly fast! Ali didn't have time to marvel at thier speed. her maother had started to run and it was all she could do to keep place. Ali had never seen her mother run like this before. "We;re in big trouble aren't we?" She thought to herself as she ran, the raptors now were begining to scale the hill.

"I know, I've seen you run" Littlefoot replied. So they went across the valley to lone tree, this was to be the starting point. Littlefoot scraped a line in the dirt with his foot. We start behind this line, when one of the others say "Go" We start running." He then walked past the pond, up a small hill and down to two small trees. "This will be the middle of the race, once you reach here you touch the tree and turn around.." Littlefoot said. He then turnned away from the first hill and moved to a larger hill. This was the hill they would climb on the way back. once they got to the other side, then it was basically a straight sprint to the lone tree.
"Alright Everyone knows the rules... So Ruby, let's get to the start line..' Hecsaid to Ruby.

Meanwhile, things were going from bad to worse for Ali and Her mother. Try as they could, they could not outrun the pursuing raptors. They had reached the bottom of the hill, but now the rators were fast on thier heels, and Ali was gettibg tired, she was not used to running this fast for this long. "Ali!: Her mother cried out. "I will give you time to escape! Hurry! Anne stooped and turned to face the raptors. "No! Mother!' Ali Screamed. "Ali, do as i say! Get the Herd! Hurry! If you don't then you'll be eaten!' Ali's face was rigid with terror, then she began running again. Soon this was a reteating figure in the distance.

Some movement above on the ledges high at the top moved around and then rocks started falling in the path of the raptors causing more of the loose rocks to fall completely closing off the path to the Raptors and Anne. A few dinosaurs on either side of where the rocks was could only be bearly seen through the sun shining directly down in Anne's view and then they disappear out of view. (I hope this is ok. the dinosaurs are fast runners that lived near the valley and know of raptors in the area and helped out the Longneck Anne by knocking down some rocks to enclose that path up before they got to her seeing how she was out numbered by them. if not I just delete that part)

The Raptors attacked feriously, covering the large longneck with bites and scratches. Anne tried desperately to fight them off using her tail as a huge whip. It worked as much as it did not, sometimes she managed to fling the raptor a long way, other times she missed. Anne was cut in numerous places and she was beggining to tire. Yet the Raptors continued thier ferocious attack. Anne sank to her knees as they closed in, suddenly rocks from abocve began to fall onto the pursuing raptors, cutting them off from thier wounded prey. Anne collaspsed fully onto the ground, and blood flowed from her many wounds, staining the ground a deep red. She knew she had been very seriously hurt.
_ Meanwhile Ali had just reached the Great valley. She was exhausted, and in Tears. "OLD ONE! " She cried out, and the Old One quickly came up to her. "Ali! What is wrong?" "My Mother! we were attacked by fast teeth, and she said she was going to fight them off so I could escape! Help her PLEASE!" ALi sobbed, and the OLd One was horrified. "I will need as many Longnecks to come with me as can be spared. Ali, stay here with the rest of the herd. Don't move!" At that, The Old One , accompanied with 15-20 longnecks , charged out into the wilderness after Anne.

The fast runners that knock the rocks down raced down the sides to the downed longneck with plants in thier hands two stay with the longneck patching up the wounds with the leaves much as possible with the others keep running back and forwards to help bring more from above they had some plants that help stop bleeding and they was doing much as they can and some carrying wet leaves.
they reached Anne's head and one whispers "open your mouth miss we got some leaves that might help you recover. Just don't stress yourselve too much" they got her to open her mouth and put the leaves in and then as she ate them they heard lot of moment from a distance "Run back up to the top! Fast Runners hide" they all quickly ran and soon as they came they was gone only some of their tracks staned with blood was shown going up with leaves they dropped scattered everywhere but the rest completely covered the wounds that Anne had.

Anne ate a few of the leaves, then vomited. The good-natured creatures , whatever they were,had tried to help, but she had already lost a huge amount of blood, and she was very weak, even with thier help. "Even If i do survive this, she thought to herself "I won't be able to take care of Ali anymore. Someone else will have to care for her." As he said this, she saw the old One and the herd aopproaching, They reachd her rapidly, and were stunned at the extent of her injuries. "A Pack of fast biters must have done this. Is that correct Anne dear?' The Old One asked. "Yes old one. Is .. Ali alright?' Anne said softly. " Yes,It was she who alerted us. "Now we will try to get you back" The Old One replied. "Old one.. my injuries are severe"Anne began to cough up blood. The others drew away from her "She's dying!" Oh yes she is.. "the poor girl.. how are we going to tell her?" came murmurs from the herd. The Old one looked at them harshly "Be quiet! " He turned tenderly to Anne "dear we can tend to your wounds in the Valley.."

Anne shook her head..."Old One, don't fool yourself. I will probably expire by the time you get back... I want Ali to be cared for...ask the longneck families in the Valley if they will adopt her.. if not... then the herd should take care of her. But She told me that she wanted to stay in the Valley, she has such good friends there... and I would prefer that she find a home with a family in the Valley... But If that is not possible.. then so be it..' Anne said.. her voice becoming hard to hear.
"Quickly! Pick her up and carry her on your backs!" The Old One commanded, and Anne was picked up carried by 5 large longnecks, two held up her back end, two her front end and one stablized her neck. Some of the others had noticed the bloodstained leaves. "These look like healing leaves! One of them exclaimed. " Then bring them along! Hurry!" The Old One said impatiently.

As Littlefoot and Ruby were about to start thier race, Grandpa Longneck came up to them. "Children, I'm sorry, but you must stop what you are doing and come with me. It is urgent, we are gathered near the great stone arch." That was the normal meeting place for the adults and Littlefoot knew where it was..Although he was disappointed in not being able to play, his curiousity was piqued.

At the same time the fast runners watched from their hidding places "Why are we hidding if we helping?" a fast runner questions
"Because we look too much like those horror fast biters and big ones like them think we fast biters before even getting a good look at us. We helped the best we can but for one more help I want two of our fastest fast runners to go take this fruit into the Great Valley and give rub it over the longneck while everyone sleeps and give one to eat, this shouldn't be able to come back up if she sick again." the leader said to them and two came up.
"Twins, Swifty and Leafty I knew it be you two. you are the fastest out of us and the quietest. take two each and go and treat her, these should help bring back enough strength to stay alive, keep hidden my children" the Leader said quietly.
"Yes mother" both said taking a hold of the fruit each. then they was gone running towards the Great Valley.
"Everyone back to the nest" Leader called out and the others all ran to their nests on the high point of the rocky walls up the side path. "good luck my children" she then turns and hed up to the nest.

"Uh oh this does not good at all" Rhett said. If this was urgent then the chances of this being bad new escalated.
"Well we can't really be to sure it's bad until we actually know what the news is." Ruby said.

And Rhett, Shorty, Petrie, Ruby and Chomper followed Littlefoot and grandfather.
Rhett couldn't help but worry about Ali what if this thing had to do with Ali. He shuttered at the thought.

But Ali said nothing, only looked at him with a helpless look on her face. Littlefoot was taken aback at the way she looked. "Have you been crying?" He asked. 'Shh!" Said a longneck from Ali's herd. "Stop bothering her. She has been though a lot.." His voice was full of irritation and there was a rough undertone to it.

The Rescuers raced toward the valley, but Anne's fears were coming true, she was struggling to breathe now. "Old OnE! She gasped. "Let me Down. I don't want to die in front of my daughter.. "You're not going to die anne" The Old One replied, although she feared that Anne was only speaking the truth. "She's getting harder to carry Old One" one of the 5 bearers said. "That can't be a good sign."
_ The Old One began to be worked up, and tears began to run down her face, at this, many of the others began to fight back tears as well. "leave me here...bury me if you wish...or let those raptors finish the job they started>.. Take good care of Ali>." anne whispered. The bearers stopped, and gently let her down by a pool. Her eyelids became heavy, and a thin mist appeared over her eyes.. "Take good care of her... If a Valley family wants her, then let them adapt her.. tell her I love her, and Will be with her.. always..' These would be the last words she ever spoke, Her eyes closed, and she became very still.

meanwhile Grandpa longneck stood up. "Everyone , I have called you hear to bring some terrible.news. Ali's mother has been attacked by a pack of fast biters! The Old One and a number of her have gone to bring her back to safety" There was an audible gasp from the gathered dinosaurs.

Rhett looked sadly at Ali this was one of the things that he was afraid of. Rhett felt extremely saddened especially for Ali. He didn't know what he could do so he just sat there shocked with a saddened look on his face. He looked around at Cera and Littlefoot. Rhett was on the verge of tears but really trying hard to be tough especially for Ali. At a time like this she needed Rhett and the rest of them to be there for her and be strong for her.

Two fast runners saw what happened they seen death point before but they discovered a way to help before it too late but can't be too long or it be too late to do anything then both look at each other. "Lets scare them away it the only chance. she still breathes but we have very little time her heart will stop in moments" Swifty said and his sister nods then they screech and make sounds that very much like fast biters and close by and made it sound like lots of them are coming.
They kept it up as they wait for their reactions and to retreat "come on run leave her, we can help if you just run away" Leafty hissed lowly
Their mother was on the ridge just above they saw it too "Rock slides everyone small ones just to get them scared off. Block that hole up soon they through then we treat the very weak longneck, hope we can do something" they nod and start throwing rocks causing small slides.

Littlefoot's mouth fell open at the announcement, and unbidden, memories of his own mother's death sprang to his mind. He bit his lip hard, and looked over at Ali. Her eyes were filing up again with tears . What could he say to her to make her feel better? Nothing silly" He scolded himself "What could I possibly do to help"

_ Ali?' He whispered. 'Is there anything I can do, to help you?'Ali turned, and loooked at him, tears running silently down her face. "Yes...could you keep me company Littlefoot.. until the Old one and the others get back? With my mom, I mean?" She asked, her voice a tiny whisper. Littlefoot was probably the one longneck, at the moment, who could take her mind off of what she had seen.

Rhett looked hurt when Ali said Littlefoot was the only longneck that could help her feel better. Rhett was really trying hard to change and it was all for Ali. He wanted her to be able to trust him again and to make her think he could be a great friend too just like Littlefoot. And this really hurt his feelings.
Shorty walked over to Rhett he could tell Rhett was hurt and maybe he could offer some words of encouragement to Rhett.
"Hey Rhett" Shorty said

I'm sure it's not that she's trying to single me and you out it's just that Ali is going through a really tough time right now."Shorty said.

I am... taking it back I'm sorry" Cera turn and ran off into the thick bushes with tears falling what she hope to forget had returned and it was deeply painful for her to see another mother could be gone.

"Now" Leafty jump out of the hidding place and both race up to Anne as the entrance was enclosed so the fast runners wasn't interfered one checked the underside area near to the neck checking for anything.
"I hear it, she still alive but bearly! We go to act fast before she does really..." Swifty said and the fast runners came down from the ridges all starting to do their part with more of the fruit squeezing some over the wounds and it was enough to cause a flinch then then the twins put the fruit right into her mouth and down her throat as the others kept what they doing then they stopped moments later.
Leader stepped up and checked "she still very very weak. We will stay and protect her, cover her in leaves and do a regular check if we lucky if... she might not see as well she once did but we can save this longnecks life from the death that near. All we can do is wait but if it works she should regain energy in a few days." Leader then look to the twins her kids.
"Go to the Great Valley and keep a eye on her child and make sure your not seen. I am sure the traveling longnecks will be on edge now." Leader said to them both
"Understood mother" both said then they leave the group around Anne and head to the valley in another route they knew of. The Leader watched then look to Anne "you can make it my friend. your child is waiting for you to come home. take time recover we will help until we lose hope, that something we never do till all is lost and till I think that we will continue to fight for your life healing your wounds and making you healthy, we don't it before to longnecks and we going to help one again. PLease don't lose faith my dear friend, your child needs you" Leader whispers into one of the ears of Anne

Anne however did not hear her, as the time passed, her body began to become taunt and stiff, what is known as rigor mortis. This happens after a creature, be it human, dog, or in this case, longneck dies.. and it is a telltale sign that the point of no return has been passed.

"Ali, Let's have Rhette and Shorty come by us.. so that.. we have more than just the two of us.. here" He said to her. In response, Ali laid her head against him. "Sure, whatever you want Littlefoot..." Littlefoot blushed red, this had never happened to him before. To change the subject we looked around, and saw Rhette and Shorty standing a short distance. 'Come over here" He mouthed soundlessly, but they recognized what he was trying to say.

Rhett looked over at Shorty puzzled as if if asking Shorty silently if LittleFoot was talking to them.
Shorty just nodded.
Rhett and Shorty walked over to Littlefoot and Ali.
They wanted to comfort Ali because both Rhett and Shorty had lost both their parents too. So they knew how Ali felt. But didn't know what to say without making matters worse. So maybe all they needed to do is be there for Ali and comfort her the best way they could.

"Ali, Your mother, before she passed, told us to place you with a longneck family in the Valley, but if we can't find one who is willing to take care of you..then the herd wil take care of you as a group."The Old One Said tryingto to reassure her. "leave me alone !' Ali said angrily, and ran away from the stone arch.

The two fast runners was heading down then saw Ali run they hid and watched "It seem they told her of the mother has passed on" Leafty whispers
"yes but if what our mother does works she will be alive but take time to awake and heal" Swifty replied back looking at his sister.
"If our way of help before the final breath of death and the stop of the beat happens the longeck will shift a little not much but enough to show it working" Leafty said
"Hope for the best mother" Swifty whispers and they slowly hide to follow Ali keeping out of distance and moving quietly.

So far we've had 4 families, you will spend a day with each of them, based on the order they applied. Tommorow, you will visit your first family."

If needed I will ask daddy she stay with us so she can think in a natural place that not a longneck family, so she can have a clear head to think it over!!" Cera bellowed in Ali's defence suprising the longneck, Ali and even her father who heard her yelling from a bit away and make a move to see what the problem is.

Topys cut himself short feeling the grith of losing his mate and Cera's sisters then continues "I well... dromatic event such as losing love ones shouldn't be push to making a choice right away... so she part of your herd but isn't it best she has at least one night to come to terms of it and... well not be pushed into something so fast and in a hurry" the old one arrives hearing Topys speak as she heard Cera yelled as well. "So maybe Cera got a point... I know how it is feels to lose someone important in events that so hard to forget... it be best to try and come with terms and a night to themselves could help... come to terms..." Topys voice softened then he try to hide his tears as some fell
"Daddy..." Cera never saw her father like this before other then the other strange way when Tria first came, but this being different and on Cera's side defending a young longnecks feelings something he never did before.
"How you feel if you was rushed into finding a family and had no time to come over a very terrible event... you would like to space it out... couldn't you well... spend a little more longer the usually here in the Great Valley till Ali sorts herself out?" Topys suggested alittle swallowing after saying his words. "But try not to be stubborn of trodisations... like I done and now kind of regret I push so hard on it..." Topys look to Cera seeing a few tears fall from his eyes.

For the first time in a really long time Rhett was actually crying. Everything felt so mixed up to Rhett. He wanted Ali to be happy but he wanted himself to be happy too. He wanted to help her and keep her safe in the Great Valley. He didn't know ecatly how to do that but he'd give anything to not let Ali go away forever.

But it's not ok and it never will be. Ali is way to good of a friend for something like this to happen to her. Ali deserves so much better then this. And now she has a possibility of moving away so that I'll never be able to see her again. Look Shorty maybe you don't understand............." Rhett started.

'It smells like a fast runner...but diffrent...I really hope I know what I'm doing'
'Wait, I must be crazy! I may not know what this is, but if it turns out to be a sharptooth, then I could just be walking into a trap...oh it dosen't matter....I have the scent and I'm gonna follow it, no matter what!' cried Longtail to himself as he picked up his pace heading towards the smell....

"Yeah I wish that we could......."Chomper started but then he smelled something. Chomper could actually tell the smell between the others. But this was a new spell. Like from a dinosaur he had never met before. It smelled sort of like a fast runner. He walked over to the same bushes Swifty was hiding in by following the scent and sniffed around the bushes.

Swifty gulped "me and my big mouth" Swifty quickly move out of his hidding place and using his speed and quiet stepping he managed to hide behind a tree not to far and watch them move to the bushes he about to move then felt he couldn't move his foot and look down to see his foot in a hole by the tree "Not good" he whispers and try to pull his foot free "Come on... come on" he whispers then see movement by the bushes both he saw Chomper and Longtail around them then he went back to try and free his foot from the hole.
Leafty came up to see how her brother doing and saw him stuck and two dinosaurs not far she quickly got to him quietly "They better smellers aren't they?"
"Yeah I noticed, Could you get my foot out it stuck" Leafty start digging the dirt out around his foot quick as she can with her hand claws.
(A little about the Fast Runners... They greenish in scale colour with three toed clawed feet legs reverse and skinny almost like a Rainbow Face. They have two fingers and one thumb with their faces kind of narrow and snout almost angeled simliar to a fast biter but they have flat teeth like the leaf eaters and as they are called they very fast on their feet and quiet as well. they usually mistaken as fast biters because in the distance the snout appearances look almost a like to them and the unusally smell also to help confuse Sharpteeth specailly the fast biters sense of smell so they not sure if they are sharpteeth or not to keep those types away from the main fast runner herd living in the grass lands with a small patch of forest near the outside of the Great Valley for the reason that the leaf eaters in the Great Valley always have mistaken them as Fast Biters.)

"Littlefoot's grandparents have not mentioned anything to me as of yet about adopting her..currently we have 4 longneck families interested in giving her a chance to spend a day with them and get to know them a little.." "If his grabndparents to adopt her, they must contact me and make thier intentions known..and time is short, we will be leaving at the end of the week, unless another family jumps in at the last minute, in which case we will stay another day"

As Longtail continued to sniff around for the source of the new sent...his head came into contact with something hard, with enough force to knock him back onto the ground...and his only reply to this could only be..."ow"
But as Longtial looked up to see what had hit him, his body stiffined, and he almost couldn't believe what he was seeing....almost, but then again this wasn't any thing new...but still he was definatly stunned...as his next question stated:
"Who are you?"

"That is a difficuklt quiestion to answer Ali.. Remember, we are old, and there is no telling how long we have to live. When I was ill with the sickness, I made plans for Grandma and Littlefoot to leave with your herd Ali, should I not make it. Luckily you kids were able to find the medicine I needed and got it to me in time..just in time.. Another day..." Grandpa shook his head. "If the Old One asks us to care for you them we will... but there are families waiting in line ahead of us...and We must wait our turn.." This was a polite way of saying maybe..

Topys took a look at them "I've stuck my horns in this affair long enough, I let you longnecks sort it out, I had my say in it and I hope that don't wash away very quickly. Your not the only ones that has a care for the kids, not after what we all been through for all this time" Topys then look to Grandpa Longneck giving a quick smile then turn heading away.
"I'd... better go with daddy." Cera turn to Ali quickly "Even if your spending time with each longneck family come play with us still. We your friends and we there for you even if you don't want to play and it doesn't matter what we look like we still equal in some ways. that something you ment when we first met" Cera smiled then sees her dad almost gone "Well better go" Cera runs off to catch up with her father.

Leafty still tries to free her brother from the hole he stepped in as he pull as well they managed to pull Swifty's foot free just moments later Chomper and Longtail arrive but looking behind the tree there was no one there. The two managed to quickly grab hold of some low branches and lifted themselves up now hangging right above the two keeping very still and quiet as they looked below at Chomper and Longtail keeping very quiet not moving a muscle breathing very softly to try and keep hidden their last quick idea that would either fail or scceed.

Longtail continued to sniff around the tree sure that he could smell somthing, then he said to himself 'My nose may be strong, but Chompers is stronger...I think I should ask him if he can find this scent.' Then he noticed something in the tree, but he couldn't tell what it was..."It's just too dark to see, even for my eyes, but they look like fast runners, but fast runners can't climb." Longtail muttered to himself...

Leafty saw him almost ready to burst out laughing "quiet" she whispers but that changed when both of them heard a creck both look at the branch they managed to hold on to crossing their legs around and holding with their hands.
"uh oh" both gulped as the branch started to crack even more and at any second it was ready to snap and racing in their minds was asking please that the branch don't snap even in only seconds away from snapping and most likely they will fall ontop of Chomper and Longtail which was the most likely thing to happen any second now.

Longtail heard the branch snapping above him and he knew only two things would make a branch fall from a tree: too many white ground sparkles, or someone actually hiding in the tree itself...
So Longtail decided to take a chance, and jumped up into the tree just below the branch the two fast-runners were holding onto and held it in place with his exceptionally long tail as he said "Hello, I may not be able to see to well right now, but I know if you weren't friendly, you would've tried to attack us already....you can come down now." he said with a smile...

"Ali nodded to Cera and Topsy as they left, Cera had opened up herself to her..
"Will I be able to play with my friends Old One, while I'm visiting the families?"
she asked the Old One as ythey began walking away.."It depends Ali,if the host family will permit it, I will have no objection.. " The Old One replied.

Both fast runners looked at each other and said together "Busted" then they let go with their legs frist then drop down both landing in front of Chomper and they then look to each other then at Longtail as he landed and Chomper both not really sure what to say to not blow the reason they was really there and kept slient now looking at both before them.

Longtail looked at Chomper for a moment the looked back at the two fast runners and said "Well, since you two don't seem to mean any harm, I won't ask as to why you're here...you do deserve some privacy." Then his thought drifted back to Ali's problem, his face showed it, and he then added in a grim tone...
"I need to go speak with a friend...please excuse me." he then turned to Chomper and said "Good bye. I do look forward to seeing you again Chomper." Then he turned around and left in search of Ali to give her some advice on her problem...

"Erm thanks..." Swifty was a bit confused but glad not to speak of why they here.
"For once we not mistaken for being those mean fast biters... I hate when they mistaken us for those mean sharp mouthed beasts. It so insulting" Leafty was pleased indeed. "But I bet those full growns will think we are..." Leafty and Swifty look to each other and sighed together.

Longtail looked at Chomper for a moment the looked back at the two fast runners and said "Well, since you two don't seem to mean any harm, I won't ask as to why you're here...you do deserve some privacy." Then his thought drifted back to Ali's problem, his face showed it, and he then added in a grim tone...
"I need to go speak with a friend...please excuse me." he then turned to Chomper and said "Good bye. I do look forward to seeing you again Chomper." Then he turned around and left in search of Ali to give her some advice on her problem...
"Bye" Chomper said waving to Longtail as he went back to help Ali. Speaking of helping he knew he had to do something for Rhett as well. He knew Rhett was somewhere taking Ali's mom's death really hard as well. He had to think of something to help Rhett maybe so he could help Ali. Maybe he could talk to Littlefoot or Ruby and see if they could help him. Ruby was always good at making people feel good. And Littlefoot was also real good at that.

For the exception of the fact that Ali was with a diffrent herd, Longtail found her pretty easily...he took a deep breath, but he still wasn't sure if he could say what he needed to say without bringing up his own past. Longtail just hung his head and took another deep breath, and continued to walk over towards Ali while trying to stutter out a friendly:
"Hello Ali...can I.....talk to you for a moment...alone?" He took a step back in case the family Ali was with said no....

"What going on around here?" Leafty asked, she saying a lie knowing already what really going on.
"Yes why is everyone seem very gloom?" Swifty said after her. Chomper noticing the way they talked one after each other noticing they was twins.

"I'm a friend of Littlefoot's...." and before he continued tears began to form in his eyes as he said "I lost my mother...she was trying to save me from a flying rock....and it....I saw it...." Longtail didn't finish the sentence as he answered Ali's second question

She really didn;'t believe him, she had never seen him before today.. but right now she was in a state of not caring..she was empty inside.. and drfdreading the future... she hoped that Littlefoot's grabndparents would come forward, after all, they had been related to her mother, and were thus her cloest familial relations..

Ruby wished there was something she could do for Ali.Ruby walked over to Ali and said one simple thing. "Ali I just want you know that you have been one of my best friends ever since I first met you. So if you ever need anything.......... and I mean anything at all please don't hesitate to ask me for it. "She said sadly.

Ruby puts a consoling arm on Ali. "It's no problem at all. You take as much as you need to be alone. I just wanted you to know that I and every one else will be here for you whenever you may need us" Ruby said walking away letting Ali be alone with her thoughts. She hadn't seen Rhett for a while. Maybe she could help cheer him up.

Longtail sat at the edge of the Thundering falls and just let the tears slide from his eyes, he was so lost in thought that he failed to notice someone walking up behind him.....

It was littlefoot" Hey" He said... "what"s Wrong? " he loked at Longtail compassionately. longtail was smaller than he was, about the same saize as Shorty.. Littlefoot judged. "If you want to be alone, that's fine.."

Longtail responded almost immediatly "No, I need someone to talk to right now....after hearing Ali lose her mother, I don't....I just don't know what to do....I keep seeing my own mothers demise, and it's scaring me alot.."
Longtail then looked up at the water falling down into the stream and just sighed...

Soon the two fast runners walk with Chomper they keeping behind him till he walk out to the open both stopped in their tracks towards the falls. He turned around looking at them. "Sorry but me and Swifty don't want to take a chance with the adults"
"My sister Leafty got a point... we been told that the last leaf eater that mistaken one of our kind for a fast biter got.... well... you can guess..." Swifty said and both look quite uncomfertable.

Longtail saw Chomper walk out of the bushes, and saw him talking to someone else... 'He must be talking to the fast-runners....but Littlefoot dosen't know about them....well this could get intresting!' thought Longtail to himself
He wiped the tears from his eyes and yelled "Hey Chomper over here!"

"How do you know about Ali? I've never met you before.. so how do you know her?" Littlefoot asked.."I"m littlefoot, by the way...If you talked with her, well.. we're close friends.."

Longtail looked back and said "I just finished talking to her...." he paused before he spoke again "She seemed so lost, and her eyes.....they had almost no feeling at all...almost like she'd just given up."
Then he added at a whisper "I know exactly what she feels like right now..."

As Do I' Littlefoot replied. "Tell me about yourself..and tell me your name... So That I know who you are.. As for Ali, This has been really tough on her.. I lost my mother in a similar instance, at leaat I had my grandparents to care for me, she has no one.."

"My name is Longtail, and it looks like we all have something in common now." he sighed again and continued to speak "I lost my mother as well, but diffrently then you did...."
Longtail didn't want to admit it, but he was conflicted...he just didn't know what to do or how to act right now....

'Who is taking care of you?' Littlefoot continued. "do you have a father, or grandparents raidsing you?" He was curious..thst was all.

The two fastrunners kept to the bush line treed area just out of sight hearing it they still had their mother but their father they never really liked to think about it cause it was part of the Great Valley Dinosaurs fault for his death. A mistaken look cause them to think he was a fast biter and chased him to the edge of a cliff where they heard from their mother the leader of the Fast Runner herd.
"Even if they and their parents wasn't involded in it, we can't trust the adults... if they mistaken us... it could happen again" Swifty whispers sadly under his breath.
"I know... it hard to believe one mistaken look would end in such a horrible way... maybe that why our mother asked as to come and see cause we the fastest to get away from such a thing" Leafty whispers back sadly as well. They was quite scared to go in the open of the Great Valley only knowing some sort of fate could happen like their Father which they heard about. They both then turn back to looking at Chomper in the clearing and the water edge near the Thundering Falls.

Longtail thought for a moment about Littlefoot's questions...and he decided to answer them slowly one at a time:
"I'm taking care of myself...I've been alone for most of my child-hood in the Mysterious Beyond...I've never had anyone else..." and then he tought about the question about his father....
"I never knew my father....although if I had to guess I'd bet he wouildn't be a flyer, that's for sure." He didn't try to hide how upset he really was....

"We could take this chance to disappear" Swifty suggested
"That would be a good idea" Leafty whispers back
"But... mother did tell us to keep a eye on the longneck named Ali" Swifty sighs
"Yeah that true we better stay for now" Leafty nods looking just to the view of seeing the others.
Leafty and Swifty looked at Littlefoot then they kept just out of sight "But how do we work it if we been spotted" Swifty was now thinking about it.
Leafty stepped on a trig then it snapped the sound was loud enough to be heard by them "Opps" Leafty saw her brother just shake his head in defeat, they was really not doing a good job keeping hidden.

Longtail looked over hearing the twig snapping, but didn't move, actually thinking about Chomper's question....then he got an idea, and he knew it would involve getting the two fast-runners to show themselfs....
"Hey, fast-runners you guys can come out now...it's okay, we need your help!"

"Are you crazy!" Leafty called out "If any adults see us they most likely mistaken us for fast biters!"
"No matter how insulting that is to us it very much our fear. we rather stay put then go in the open and be chased" Swifty called out as well.
"So We staying put" both said at once.

Longtail took a deep breath to calim himself down, then stood up and said:
"Look you two, I don't mean to sound angry, but Chomper needs your help...and besides if the grown-ups even breath the wrong at you...I will personally step in, and protect both of you....and I've fought sharpteeth bigger than me!"
Longtail allowed himself time to take another breath and finished by saying "So stop worrying...will you?!"

"Holfd on' Littlefoot said, stopping them.."You can't just walk into the middle of the Great Valley like this, othewise they will run you out..." His eyes narrowed "Why are you even here anyway? If it concerns Ali, you'd best stay away from her, she has enough on her plate at the moment!" Littlefoot's voice carried a cold undertone to it.. and the others around him could not supress a shudder.

"Whoa there Littlefoot..." said Longtail turning to the young longneck as he continued "I believe everyone has a reason for being here...let's find Rhett, and give these two fast-runners time to explain themselfs...okay?" he asked tenitivly

"They can explain themselves , and now, or they go back to wherever they came from...Those are your options" He turned tiurning quickly on the two fast runners, who trembled under his glance. in truthg, he was terribly concerned about Ali, what Longtail had said about caused his great internal anxiety. Right now, Ali was the only creature he was concerned about, he had gone though this situation before, when he was a newborn, and Ali needed someone to confide in.."

Longtail was getting upset with Littlefoots attitude and retorted "Have you stopped to think that just maybe they've been sent here to look for or help someone.....maybe they're just passing though!"
"I know you want to help Ali, I can see it in your eyes, but you can't help her if you're being mean to newcomers!" said Longtail as he turned to Chomper and the fast-runners and said "Let's go find Rhett."

Chomper looked shocked he had never heard Littlefoot say something like that. But, he could understand fully that Littlefoot was really concerned about Ali. "Just give him a little break you two. His name's Littlefoot. And he's going through a really tough time right now. Ali she's the other Longneck. Her mother just died. And Littlefoot is Ali's best friend. He is really concerned about her. And Littlefoot's mom died when he was very little so this is bringing up a lot of sad memories for him. He didn't mean to be rude or lash out. He's just going through a lot of concerns. Trust me I know him very well ever since I was a baby. And I know Littlefoot didn't mean to be rude he's just extremely concerned for Ali" Chomper whispered to the two fastrunners.
"And Rhett he's another longneck. Nobody really knows about his mom or dad. Nobody even knows if he has a family or not. He can be kinda cocky and braggy at times. But deep down I think Rhett is just scared what other people think of him. He doesn't really seem to fit in so he pretends to be something that he's not really in order to make friends. But over the past few days he's really changed personality wise. Now, anyway Rhett he stayed with Ali and her mother's herd. From what I heard Rhett was a loner and Ali's mom let Rhett stay with the Wise One's herd. She's the leader of Ali's herd. Now anyway Rhett lied to Ali before probably because he really liked her but didn't really know how to tell her that. But he is really starting to change that. Now since Ali's mom died. My guess is Rhett somehow feels responcible for this and is extremely concerned because Ali's mom and Ali have been his only real family. Or so I'm told. Anyway, Rhett ran off in depression and nobody knows where he went. We want you two to come with us in order to help him. Rhett is so concerned about it I'm worried he's going to do something drastic and get himself hurt or even worse............."Chomper continued shuttering at the thought.

"Of course... family and those that taught us have been killed during our life time because of the sharpteeth." Leafty said also sounding hard on it.
"We seen so many go that it almost normal because it happens so much. Like last season we lost our uncle to a new back to faster biters with some others of the fast runner pack to them since they moved into that pass not to far from this Great Valley" Swifty said the going quiet at the end.
"And don't forget those two fast biters and the red clawed sharptooth that caused problems as well for our pack to find green food" Leafty also points out then look to the three "so you know our type of life..." Leafty's voice turn to a whisper both sitting down on the ground they letting out the real harshiness of their own lives

"sorry" Littlefoot said softly...as his Grandafather came up to them. "Littlefoot , It's time to go home" He said. "Same for the rest of you" The sun had set and it was getting dark by this time..."go find your herds please.."

Longtail blinked his eyes, and then looked up at the sky, as he mumbled "Wow...I hadn't realized how late it's gotten." he then turned to Grandpa Longneck and said
"Okay, if you need me, I'll be in the Tree of Life." and with that he spread his wings and soared towards his sleeping place...

"Home..." both look at each other. "We not traveling back to our grounds in the dark! It not safe at night in the Myterious Beyond!" both said at once towards Grandpa Longneck, really affaird of the idea even travelling back to the nesting place which was near the location of the Fast Biters nest.
"We don't live in the Valley we live outside it and there is a fast biter nest near by our home and they can sure see better in the dark then us" Swifty points out.
"We wasn't suppose to be here... we was just exploring in the shadows since we was told that many dinosaurs in the Great Valley had mistaken our kind to being fast biters... how ever insulting it is to us" Leafty said and mutters the last few words.
Then they both looked at each and said together "Wait a minute, you not mistaken us for those vilote Fast Biters!" both gave a shocked and suprised look on their faces

Chomper looked across the valley sadly. He knew Rhett was around somewhere. It had gotten really late and Rhett was no where to be found he even had Petrie and Ruby look for him. Chomper couldn't believe this Rhett had never disappeared for this long. He understood that RHett needed space but the later it got the more worried Chomper got. "Mr. Grandpa Longneck sir there's a little bit of a problem. Rhett is missing......... nobody has seen him for hours now. I have no idea where he went. We need to find him. Rhett never disappeared for this long. Something tells me he needed a quiet place to worry about Ali. But the thing is I'm worried about him. Maybe he's in danger." Chomper said.
Meanwhile.............. Rhett had wandered to the watering hole. Ruby who was still looking for Rhett stopped when she saw Rhett sitting there sadly. She calmly walked over to him. "Hey Rhett"She said concerned for Rhett. "Hi" Rhett said sadly. "Me and Chomper have been looking for you for hours now. You scared the both of us half to death. Everybody's really worried about you Rhett."Ruby said.
"No they're not Ruby look I appreciate that you're always trying to be so nice but aside from you, Chomper, and maybe Petrie and Longtail. Nobody even cares. I can't really blame them though."Rhett said.
"I'm sure they care Rhett Littlefoot and Ali have so much on their minds right now that they probably didn't notice. Don't think they don't care about you Rhett. Look I know this is hard for you but.............." Ruby started.
"You just don't understand Ruby. Ali and Anna have really been the closest family I ever had. I never had parents I've been a loner my whole life. My own parents didn't even want me Ruby. " Rhett said crying.
"Now I'm sure there's more to then that I don't think any parents would do that just because they don't want you. Maybe they didn't think they were really ready to be parents and didn't want to let you down. You don't know the whole story Rhett. Right now Ali, and the others really need you to be strong for them. We need your help." RUby said.
"I can't help. Don't you get it Ruby? Everytime I try to help someone I fail miserably at it. I couldn't help Ali before and I can't help her now. I just don't want to let down Ali. I wish that Sharptooth had killed me instead. I deserved to die after all those months of being a jerk. Ali's way to nice to have something like this happen to her."Rhett said.
Ruby puts a consoling arm on Rhett as he begins to cry. "There, There, Rhett. I know how upsetting this is for you and we're gonna help you and Ali and Littlefoot through this together. You say you don't want to let Ali down. If you didn't you'd be there for her helping her through this. I know how upsetting a death can be but please Rhett don't blame yourself for Anna's death. Now, I know you're upset but wishing to die isn't going to make things better for anyone. You were never a jerk you were just confused. You were lost. You felt that was the right way to make friends because you never had any real friends before. But now I can see You've changed and really want Ali to like you as a friend again. I know you're upset but a friend would help Ali in her time of need. "Ruby said. "This is going to be a hard change but we are going to help you and Ali through it. But now we need your support to help Ali. Come on I'll take you back to your herd." Ruby said. As Rhett sadly walked beside her.

The Leader of the Fast Runners watched the sun set then look back to the blockaded area where the longneck laid just holding on and they managing to pull her back from death's hands and they knew it going to be a tough set of days to come. "Swifty, Leafty it not safe now to come home... I hope you two are doing alright in the Great Valley..." she was worried but she knew they was fast on their feet and good thinkers to figure something out.

Ali meanwhiled had staked out the place where and he mother had stayed during thier time in the Valley. Tommorow.. she would meet the first of the famalies who had shown interest in adopting her. She regetted asking Littlefoot's grandparents if they could adopt her, while they hadn't said no, she had embarrased them she could tell. The Old one had laid down rules for her to follow, always be polite, try and play with the kids of family, the usual things..

"If we can't get back home then where we go for the night?" Swifty looked to his sister
"And where would we sleep?" Leafty looked to her brother both whispering to each other trying to figure this out not only the shock that Grandpa longneck wasn't mistaking them like so many others have done before they had to find a solation to their little problem.

"Oh, uhhhh hi my name's Ruby and you are........?" Ruby asked with a smile to Longtail .
Rhett had to force a little smile on his face when Longtail used his tail to wipe away a tear. "Thanks Longtail" Rhett sniffled.
Longtail then bowed before Ruby and answered "My name is Longtail the flyer" he then thought to himself 'I wonder if she knows about Swifty and Leafty?' Longtail then turned to Rhett and said "You're welcome." with a genuine smile on his face...

"It is really nice to meet you Longtail. But right now I have to get Rhett back to his herd. I'll see you later okay."Ruby said quickly. Ruby escorts Rhett back to Ali's herd. Rhett sadly looks down. "Don't worry so much Rhett we're gonna get through this you'll see." Ruby said softly to Rhett.
"No we won't . Nothing is going to be ok not after this" Rhett said turning around turning his back to Ruby. Ruby sighs.
"Con't you do something to cheer up Rhett Ruby?" Chomper asked.
"I'm sorry Chomper but for some people just talking to them doesn't cure the problem. I don't think there's anything more I could do aside from asking Ali to let Rhett stay with Ali since Ali and her mother were really the only family he ever had or at least that's the way he saw it." Ruby said.
"Can't you get Ali to let Rhett do that"? Chomper said.
"No, she'd never go for something like that. "Ruby said.
"But, I don't want Rhett to be sad." Chomper said.
"Neither do I chomper but it's really out of our hands now" Ruby said.

Grandpa lOngneck was still operating under the assumption that the two fast runners were part of a herd in the Valkley, so he turned and started walking away...

Ali slaid down and settled into her sleeping position. She was truly alone now...the large gap where her mother wpould be... it felt wrong, but it was something she would have to get used to... unless she was adopted by someone..

Rhett saw how lonely Ali was all by herself. "Ummmmmmmm Ali if you want I can sleep next to you tonight. I completely understand if you don't though. I just don't want you to feel like you're alone."Rhett said secretly wanting to sleep next to her cause he felt alone too. But if she wanted to be alone that would be ok with Rhett too.

Good night Ruby..." said Longtai as he once more took to the skies heading for the Tree of Life...

"This is really bad..." Swifty said seeing Grandpa Longneck leaving
"Very bad... what if one of these other adults mistaken us for fast biters..." Leafty said and both cringed with fear then look around for some cover then they saw a set of caves near.
"There!" both said at once pointing at the same thing. then they head right for it not knowing it was the serect caverns that Ruby and Chomper stay at. They quickly run to keep to the deep growth of plants and soon arrive at it both standing at the mouth of the cave.
"Do you think there could be someone living here?" Swifty asked his sister
"Could be, best if we just wait here?" Leafty looked at Swifty he nods
"Yeah I think that be a good idea" Swifty and Leafty sits down by the cavern entrance to wait for a few moments to see anyone show up.

Ruby and Chomper yawned and headad back to the caves a few minutes before Leafty and Swifty showed up. Ruby and Chomper were just drifting off to sleep when Chomper saw a shadow of what looked like two fast biters. But he smiled as his eyes adjusted and he saw they were the two fast runners from before. Ruby and Chomper appeared at the cave enterance. "UHHHHHHHH hello can we help you with something? You are more then welcome to stay with us here if you need a place to spend the night." Ruby said to the two fast runners.

Both stood up "Well you was right Swifty"
"Yeah I guess I was Leafty." Swifty repiled back then they look to Ruby and Chomper "That kind of why we came to this place... you see our home is outside the Great Valley and there a fast biter nest really near to ours"
"So it kind of dangerous to travel up the pass at night" Leafty rubbed her head a little.
"Thank you letting us stay any way. I am Swifty" Swifty smiled
"And I am his twin sister Leafty" Leafty said to Ruby and Chomper.

"My name's Ruby. And this here is Chomper . I think you've met him before he told me about you two. And it's no problem our cave is really big and I would be more then happy to have you guys here. As long as you don't overstay your welcome it's really no problem"Ruby said.

"Thank you" both said together.
"We would have to leave in the day tomorrow to get home safely. Fast Biters we could spot easier and being the fastest out of our family we can easily out run one of those crazy fast biters" Swifty said to them
"Our pack has enough headaches with two teams of sharpteeth, one with those two fast biters and red clawed sharptooth and that fast biter pack." Leafty and Swifty kind of showed their problems at this time.

On this particular night Longtail just couldn't sleep, 'So I'll do what always do when I can't sleep....I'll fly!' and with that the flyer jumped out of the Tree of Life, spread his wings, and let the air take him around the valley......

"So we happy that you could let us sleep here" Swifty lower his head a little in respect and thanking them
"We really greatful, thank you alot" Leafty smiled "Just hope mother is doing alright... we know how dangerous it really is around where are nest is" Leafty said softly looking to the night sky.

Unfortunatly for Longtail, his plan to tire himself out actually worked, but this caused him to fall asleep on the wing...which was going to lead to alot of pain....as he slammed head first into a tree, then fell from the onto a nerby rock, jolting him awake.
'OWWW! I've gotta find a way to keep myself awake when I fly at night!' he screamed to himself...

Cera and Topys was now looking down at him "Longtail are you ok?" Cera said seeing him on the ground looking up at them.
"That was a harsh landing, Tria asked me to check if your ok..." Topys said making a reason why his there as well.
Cera looked up at her dad "Daddy but you said that we should go see if he was alright, Tria and Trish are already asleep" Topys grumbles as Cera said it as his made up reason back fired on him.

Topys mutters under his breath then said "Fine" he carefully lift Longtail onto his snout and they walk back to their nest seeing Tria woken up he spoke out in four words "Don't say a word" she just shurgs and goes back to sleep as Topys place Longtail down by a tree near their nest and then walk to Tria and little Trish soon going to sleep after saying "goodnight Cera"
"Night Daddy" Cera turn to face him when saying it then look back to Longtail "He always do the strangest things" Cera rolled her eyes then settles down by the tree so Longtail wasn't alone by the tree. Tria open a eye seeing it and smile before going back to sleep herself. Cera whispers before going to sleep "Longtail better presishate(try to spell that word meaning being thankful) what daddy done for him" Cera then drifts off to sleep

Petrie who was flying back to his nest stopped and flew onto a branch as he saw the nice thing Mr. Threehorn did for Longtail. "Maybe he not as mean as me thought he was." Petrie said to himself and smiled as he flew off toward home. His mom and siblings must be starting to worry about him.

the morning came bright and clear, and Ali stirred from the spot where he has slept the might before. Today, she would meet the first of the interested families. "i could be meeting my future family today" She said softly to herself, and she felt a large emptiness within, as she realized the magnitude of what she had said..

Rhett woke up and yawned. "Good morning Ali. You have a nice sleep? I wish you the best of luck with finding a new family. I'm sure you'll get one really soon . " Rhett said feeling a bit sad still about Ali's mom and her living somewhere else. Rhett was trying extra hard to prove he could be nice to. He didn't want Ali to think he was a bad guy for the rest of her life. Because he really wasn't a bad guy. He was just misunderstood he didn't know the right way to make someone like him. And now he was trying to be extra nice especially to Ali. She had been through so much all ready and he wanted to prove to Ali that he was there for her in her time of need. He had just hoped he had said the right thing and it came off as a nice thing. He didn't know what else he could say.
Shorty walked up and smiled at Rhett. Rhett was okay once you got past his mean side he was actually pretty nice.
"Good morning Ali! Good Morning Rhett"Shorty said.

Rhett hadn't thought clearly that this meant Ali would never be able to see Rhett again. "Why did her mother have to die why couldn't it have been me"? He whispered to himself. Shorty saw Rhett and felt so bad for him he looked like he was a complete wreck. "Shorty, I think I need a hug" Rhett said sadly and gave Shorty a hug. And started crying on his shoulder. Shorty was confused but hugged Rhett back. He never knew how close RHett was to Ali. "Don't worry Rhett everything will be ok. He concoled Rhett. He had to do something. Maybe he could talk to the Old One about having The Old one having Rhett stay in Ali's adopted herd. He was so worried about what would happen to Rhett if Ali went away.

Longtail awoke the next morning and was aware that he wasn't in the tree any more, but lying on the ground and in someone else's nest....then he looked over and saw Mr. Threehorn asleep, and said to himself....
'I don't understand why did Mr. Threehorn bring me to his nest?' then his eyes brightened when he remembered what today was..... 'I've got to go see Ali!'
With that thought he jumped up, spread his wings, and took to the sky...hoping to get to see Ali before she joined the first family...

Petrie took to the sky to see Ali as well."Me hope I can get there in time before Ali has to meet her new family."Petrie said.

Just as Longtail was passing over the tall trees, he thought he saw someone familiar...'Is that Petrie below me?' he decided to get a closer look. He dived down below the sky puffs, and sure enough it was Petrie, Longtail then smiled and called out to his friend....
"Hey Petrie! Are you heading to Ali's nest too?"

"OH, Hey Longtail. Yup, me heading over to Ali's nest. "Petrie said not really looking at him. If there was one thing he had learned about flying it's that you should always keep your eyes in front of you when you're flying.

When Petrie heard about Cera's dad actually helping someone. He nearly lost control of his flight because it was such a shock to him. He landed then looked at Cera amazingly. "Me hear you correctly? Your dad actually help someone?."Petrie said.

Littlefoot stirred from his nest and stretched. He had not slept much, because of Ali. When he had lost his mother, he had had his grandparents to care for him, she had no one.. yes there was her herd, but none of them were close enough to her to provide a home for her. His grandparents had told him about the the Old One's announcement.. that ali would be placed with a Great Valley family, if all went well..

Longtail pulled Petrie aside and whispered into his ear, "I'd watch what you say...Cera's in a good mood, don't ruin it okay, besides we're going to see Ali...so let's get going!"

Rhett walked up to Littlefoot it was clear that Rhett was extremely sad about Ali and the possibility of never seeing her again. But Rhett was trying his absoloute hardest to not let it show. "Good morning Littlefoot" He said with a forced smile.

Unfortunately for Rhette, Littlefoot could read people's emotions very well, how they were really feeling at a given time. He saw right away that Rhette was deeply troubled. "What's wrong Rhette? " He asked, concern on his face. "is it about Ali? well, you've got company there" he said softly.

Rhett sighed and sadly nodded his head. "I feel so upset right now Littlefoot. I never told anybody this but I was extremely close to Ali and her mom almost like family. First Real family I have ever had before. I couldn't get any sleep at all. All I could think about was Ali and how sad she was. I wish it was me that was killed instead at least then Ali would still have her mom. Ali os way to nice a person for something like this to happen to. And what makes me sadder is I know how it feels to have no one. When I was very little my parents died. After that there was really nobody who I could turn to. Ali and her mom had seen me all alone and talked to the Wise one about letting me join with them. If it weren't for Ali and Anna I may have been dead all ready." Rhett said sadly to Littlefoot and began to cry he turned away from Littlefoot. ANd wiped his eyes and turned back to Littlefoot as if nothing had happened. Rhett was not very good with showing how sad he was to others. Especially Littlefoot who had seemed to accept this dilemma very maturely. "I just don't want to lose ALi and never see her again Littlefoot" He said softly.

Longtail had been walking for a few minutes, and then started to whine as he said "I can't see a thing, I'll see if I can find Ali from the air." Longtail then spread his wings and jumped into the air, using his keen eyes to search for his friend...

"Go and ask the Old One if you can stay with Ali's family, whoever thst is..but I woldn't get my hopes up.. my grandparents told me that herds usually don't let members leave unless there ais a good reason for doing so.. in ali's case, her mom wanted her to stay here, if that is possible.. I don't see the Old One letting you stay too... sorry" Littlefoot understood how Rhette was feeling,but he also had to be realistic as well..

Rhett sadly nodded his head with a sniffle. Rhett had a feeling that the Old one would say no and that's what made him feel so sad. Ali would be able to stay while Rhett once again basically had no one. Rhett didn't really matter to the rest of the herd aside from maybe Ali and Anna and the Old one didn't really talk to him unless she was angry about something that he did. "Why should I even bother asking the Old one if I could stay with Ali? It's just a waste of time I all ready know what her answer is going to be. "Rhett said sadly . He knew it wasn't very realistic to want to stay with Ali. But now he felt like he'd never see any of them ever again. Including Ali, Littlefoot, Petrie, and the others. There was no way around this way Rhett saw it everything that he loved and liked was gone. Basically Rhett felt like there was no hope for him at all .
Shorty walked over to Littlefoot. "Maybe I could try talking to the old one for him. Maybe the Old one can make a exception. I don't want Rhett to feel bad Littlefoot. Basically Rhett says he basically has no one. He never really had a real family. And according to him Rhett said Ali and Anna felt like his family. Perhaps that's a good enough reason. Maybe you could help I think if we both try to convince the Old One to let Rhett stay there is a chance he'd be able to. Rhett is really depending on us to give it a try and I don't think Rhett can do it he's to upset and has lost all hope. Can't we try Littlefoot? At least to help out Rhett? "Shorty whispered to Littlefoot.

As the three of threm searched fr the Old One, search had come over to Ali, to take her to the nest of the first prospective family. Ali was quiet, as they went along, and there was little said between them as the Old One lead them towards the southwestern part of the Valley, where two adult longnecks stood , apparently waiting.

The larger of the two, which was the father, came up to them. "Hello, Old One"" he said formally. "I am Nitter, and my wife 's name is Anita You must be Ali.." He said looking at Ali, who tried to smile, but could muster only a faint grin. "We are profoundly sorry about your mother, rest assured we will do our best to help you through this very difficult time. "
Anita came up to them. She was brown-colored with a lighter shade underneath, her face was a kind face, and she was a creature who could make you feel at ease. Nitter was a darker shade of brown, with some yellow mixed in..he was a firm creature , but was good-natured at heart.
"We have six children, Ali... a pretty big family, but if all goes well, you'll fit right in with the others." Anita said.

The Old One nodded to Nitter , Anita and Ali, as six young longneck came up to them and lined up in a line. 'I'm leaving you now Ali, I will return at sundown to take you back to your nest., and prepare for the second family tommorow.." The Old One said. Ali nodded, and The Old One turned and began to walk away.

At the sight of the Old one Rhett scaredly back pedeled and turned to walk away nervous about talking to her. "OH no you don't "Shorty said trying to stop Rhett. "This is your big opportunity RHett. " Shorty said. "That family has six kids if Ali joined there'd be no chance for me to stay with them. "Rhett said. "Please, Rhett the worst that could happen is that she'd say no" Shorty said and turned to the Old One and gave a little smile and bowed his head in respect to her. He didn't really know how to phrase the question so he'd let Littlefoot give it a shot first.

Rhett is deeply saddened about Anna's Death and he is deeply saddened about the chance of maybe never seeing Ali again. Please let Rhett stay here with Ali. Rhett doesn't really have anyone else that he can turn to and I don't want Rhett to be sad all the time. I know you don't normally do this but Ali is like family to Rhett can you please make an exception and let Rhett stay with Ali if Ali and the new family agrees to it? Please"? Shorty asked trying his best to help Rhett.

Way Rhett saw it he had nothing. There were no other kids in the whole herd aside from Ali and now that she was gone Rhett was forced to leave any true friends behind and never see them again. Anna may have died but deep down it felt like Rhett died. If he couldn't stay with his friends what was the use in even trying to be happy? He knew he'd never be happy anywhere else.
"Rhett wait" Shorty called he wished he could do something. Why couldn't the Old one be more reasonable? He knew how upset Rhett was and he couldn't blame him. He really had no one to turn to at all now. But it seemed like the Old One didn't really care how Rhett felt about this. Shorty stared angrily at the Old One how could she not understand Rhett didn't want to stay with them? It took him so long to make friends with the others and now he had to do it all over again. Littlefoot's grandfather was extremely wise maybe he could try his best to run Rhett's problem by him. It couldn't hurt and if his grandfather had ideas on how Rhett could work through this maybe he could help Rhett feel better.
Shorty ran off to find Littlefoot's grandfather there wasn't a moment to spare.

But since you are not a member of her family, I can't do anything for you. Ali has no immediate family left, only a handful of distant cousins. it is among those I'm sending her, to find a place she can belong..'

Rhette hadn't really thought about that. He was just so worried about this. He felt the same way about Ali and probably always will. But since they'd be traveling for so long Rhette knew he really had no chance to be with Ali . She'd end up marrying Littlefoot or something. He knew that it would never work out between him and her now.
"How could you tell something like that just by being older? "Rhette asked almost thinking The Old One was a mind reader.

I just feel that staying here with Ali is the only way I could prove to her that I'm not gonna be a stupid fibbing fool. I want Ali to be my friend first and in order to do that I need to show her the real me. That I'm a much better guy now. There's no way I can prove that if we leave"RHett said.

(Okay, let me try to give you a synopsis on the roleplay Threehorn then you might know where to start from. :)
The last time in this roleplay of course Rhett was really sad and upset when he finds out Ali may have to stay in the Great Valley while Rhett would have to go with the migrating herd. UNLESS Rhett could convince Ali's new family into adopting him as well. So Rhett had decided to convince Ali's new family into letting him stay with them. But Rhett wanted to wait a while because Ali didn't really find her replacement family yet and she was going to stay with a bunch of Longnecks before she decided. And they wanted their privacy during that time. So Rhett had decided to wait until Ali has a family to try to convince them.
Meanwhile since Ali and the first family didn't want to be disturbed. Petrie, Shorty, Ruby, and Longtail wanted to play a game and asked Cera if she had any ideas.

(I'll continue from Ali's perspectve.)nitter thenb turned to his 6 children. "Now for introductions Name off!" He called out to the first child.
"Linus!"

maria!"
justus!"
Simon!"
and "malton" were their names, 4 boys two girls. They appeared to be all similar in age to Ali, or slightly older. This was comforting to her a little, at least she would have kids her age to play with. Linus, who was the eldest ,came up to her. "We're sorry about your mum. Any game you want to play, we'll play" he said smiling.

Cera thought about it and only ideas to come up was. "I got two games in mind, one being Swimmer and Splasher the other being Seed Goal" (like that type of football (soccer) game they played before hiding the hidden canyon) Cera suggested to them

Longtail smiled and said "I like Seed Goal. Let's play that!"

Seed goal it is" Littlefoot said, nodding his head. "Let's pick teams then...' He turned to lOngtail. "You and Cera can be captains, you can decide between the two of you who picks first. the rest of us will line up and waut to be picked."

Longtail looked over to Cera and said "Well my uncle always told me girls go first, so pick you team-mate!"

Cera grins "Fine by me, I pick Ruby, she the fastest out of all of us" Cera grinned still knowing she got the best pick

Spoike stood in line and waited for his name to be called. He was the slowest, so he usually was last in these types of games.
Littlefoot ,on the other hand was usually among the first picked, since he was big and quite quick.. although with Longtail he wasn't sure..It didn't really matter in the long run though..as long as he gott a good team..

Longtail smiled and said "Come on Spike you're with my team!" Knowing he had a plan that would only work if he had Spike on his team.

"Littlefoot, your on my side" Cera said looking over to him.

Longtail smiled and waved his tail, as he said "Alright, just don't be mad when my team wins Cera..." he then called Petrie over to his team as well.

"I will pick CHomper" Cera said looking at Chomper. "And not we going to lose, but you Longtail"

"Oh yeah, well we will just have to see about that won't we Cera?" asked Longtail with grin on his face...
"I choose you Ducky, we're going to need you on my team!"

Cera just kept a calm look on her face "We will just have to see Longtail, but don't cry if you lose" Cera still smiling said to him.
"Shorty I choose you" (Is Shorty playing as well?)

Longtail kept the grin on his face as he said to Cera "Don't worry, I won't be crying, becuase my team is not going to lose!"

Cera then thought of something quickly why don't she throw something back that going to them all stare in suprise "Win, lose what the differences we going to have fun and that all to it" Cera replied with a calminess in her voice still with that smile on her snout.

LIttledoor waited as the two captains took sides. The players left were RHette, Shorty, Ducky, Ruby and Petrie

Longtail smirked and said "Well Shorty, it looks like you're with me. Now lets get this game started!"

"Longtail get your wings out of the puffys I already said that Shorty on myside, Rhette on your side" Cera snapped at Longtail quite annoyed how Longtail didn't pay attenation to her saying Shorty was on her team.

Petrie flew over to Longtail's team. While Ruby, Shorty, and Chomper go on Cera's side.
But Rhett sits there sadly by himself like he had no idea that they were playing and no idea that Longtail wanted Rhett on his team.
"Hold on one second Cera it seems like one of our friends needs a little bit of a pep talk" Shorty said motioning over to Rhett. Having an idea he would make this very easy on Cera's team if he wasn't fully concentrating on the game.
Shorty walked over to Rhett. "Come on buddy we're all playing Seed Goal. You're on Longtail's team."
"I'm really not in the mood to play right now Shorty. Thanks for the offer anyway" Rhett said.
"AWWWWWWW, come on it's gonna be a lot of fun. Look you can't like just sitting here feeling sorry for yourself. Look, it could be possible you can stay with Ali but until that time you're only hurting yourself. When you could be having fun with us" Shorty said.
"Fine I'll join" Rhett said reluctantly.
"Great" Shorty said.
He then got back to Cera's team.
"Come on Cera let's show Longtail's team what we're made of" He said with a determined game face.

Longtail smiled at Cera and said "Well seeing as how Cera got to choose her team members first, it looks like I get the first seed throw!"

"It not seed throw it seed goal, we have to get to the place first, it over by the great wall ridge in that direction" Cera points her head to a part of the Great Wall "It where we found a hidden canyon but that closed up now but the seed goal place still over by the wall though" Cera told Longtail.

Sally and Maria came up to Ali a few seconds later, to introduce themselves more informally. Maria was slightly bigger than her sister, other than that they were very similar in appearance, so it was hard to tell them apart. they were nicknamed "the twins' for this, even though they were not actually twins. "Sally here is smaller, that basically how you can ytell us apart, plus My eyes are greener" Maria said, smirking to Ali. "No, they're not! Mine are greener" Sally repliedcforcefuly, and the two began to scrap.

Longtail had no idea where the other goal was so he decided to keep his mouth shut, but then said in his mind 'Littlefoot does have a point we would need two goals to play this game.'

Meanwhile, Ali and the the rest of her kids of the family where deciding on what to do to pass the time. Ali was trying sperately to have fun, but thoughts of her mother were omnipresent at the back of her mind. her thoughts always drifted back to her.

Longtail then decided to speak up "So what do we do now... can we still play with just one goal?"

No, we'll have two. Those two trees that are close together can be one. the wall can be the other up to that outcropiing of rock.

"That sounds okay, so what are the teams?" asked Longtail

"Ruby, Littlefoot, CHomper, Shorty are on my team remember and the others on yours" Cera rolled her eyes

Longtail gave a small blush of embarssement and replied "Sorry, I have a habbit of forgetting the smaller details like whos on whos team."

"Just keep remembering this time" Cera replied back at Longtail "But other then that lets have some fun"

Longtail smiled and said "You bet Cera! Let's get playing!"

Rhett meanwhile was still trying his best to look like he was excited about the game. But, the truth was no matter how hard he tried he couldn't seem to forget about her. Shorty was getting real worried about Rhett. He thought this thing would go away quite quickly after they included him. Rhett looked over at Shorty and Rhett could see Shorty was worried about him. Rhett gave a little smile as if saying "Don't worry I'll be fine"
"Yeah, I can't wait to start the game" Chomper said.

Just as Longtail was getting ready to paly with the others his uncle came out of the bushes nearby and called to him: "Longtail...I need to speak with you!" Longtail looked back and nodded as he replied "Yes uncle!" He then turned to the gang and said "Sorry guys I'll be back in a moment!"

meanwhile the game between Ali and her hiost family was under way. Ali tried her hardest to focus on the game,m, but ever-present at the back of her mind was the final image she had had of her morther, her throwing fast biters aside to order to buy time for Ali's escape. Tears dripped down her face as he thought about it..
