Back when this topic started I was still three years away from even lurking on the forum. It really puts things into perspective as a kind of time capsule. I am indeed curious as to what the final analysis on the numbers will reveal.

I remember it really accelerating. I was there already at the halfway point, and the incremental rate of posts suddenly became exponentially fast.

2019 has seen the biggest amount of progress I’ve ever seen in this Countdown topic (since I joined at least) and I couldn’t be more happy to see it finished.

Not surprised. Forum default in settings is 20 posts per page in a topic. 10,000/20=500.

There must've been a few numbers that were accidentally skipped along the way. I recall a while ago in the thread, we were discussing that the current tally didn't line up with what it was actually supposed to be in accordance to the number of replies.
