Happy New Year everyone!
With the start of the new year that means I get to show all the fun stuff I've been collecting for 2018 to see how we did. Like before, let's see how this year compared to other years
2017 was already a pretty big jump compared to other years so it's amazing that we broke the record yet again! If you're curious about the actual numbers, 2017 had 1422 posts while 2018 had 1526. That's about a 7% increase over the previous year. We also surpassed 4 posts per day on average with the final result of 4.18 posts/day (up from 3.9 posts/day).
Next up might look familiar as it's the monthly breakdown that I've shown twice already.
It's quite obvious to see where we improved upon from 2017 with an overall much more consistent post rate each month. May had a bit of a dip most likely to the great migration of the forum putting it on hold for a while and December also had domain issues for a couple days. We also passed the half way mark this year in October, which was fairly exciting! To end this graph off, 2017 had a monthly average of 118.5 posts/day compared to 2018's 127.17 posts/day
This one is more for fun as it shows our total progress over time. Not much else to say.
Next I'm comparing 2017's projected time to hit 10,000 vs 2018
Not a huge difference overall. If we continue at 2018's rate of posting we'll be finished near the start of 2021 (2021.04 to be exact, which would put us right around January 14, 2021). Up from 2017 which had it at 2021.34

I thought I might be able to see some sort of interesting trend when I started it but it turns out to be a bit of a mess
Probably won't be bothering with it for 2019 haha
