I made this topic only 6 days after I joined and I must say I've changed a lot since then. I used to be a VERY frequent poster and visitor, reaching over 11 posts per day, however in recent times I've come to post only when I had something useful to contribute and/or to make someone feel good (such as in a birthday thread or a thread about personal matters of another member). Avoiding responses such as "that's nice" or other responses that can be summed up in one sentence helps us make sure our posts are as meaningful and accurate as possible. I was never a one sentence person myself, but I know of several members here who are. Now, if you type at 23wpm or aren't that good at English, that's one thing, but if you're fluent in English and can type at a decent speed, you should try to put more than one sentence worth of material in each post.
