I've been checking into getting a new graphics card to improve my windows 7 experience index (I only have 128mb integrated graphics right now.  I can't believe that's what they give you in a $1,100 computer <_< ).  Anyways, while browsing walmart.com (don't want to have to wait for shipping), I found this graphics card.  Now honestly....why even make something like this?  NO ONE could use it!

Anyone who spends $3,500 on a graphics card from walmart is crazy!  I'll bet they've sold like 5 of those in the past year. A 4gb graphics card is just insane.  I was just coming to terms with getting a 512mb or 1gb graphics card......and now this. :bang

I'd buy it if it were the same price as the 512mb I have my eye on, but I certainly wouldn't pay any more than that because I don't need it.

Well I could afford it.......but it's certainly not worth no $3,500!  You could get a whole super nice computer with a 30 inch LCD monitor for the same price.

One day the manager at a local Wal-Mart had an epiphany as to what he should do if Bill Gates or Warren Buffett strolled in with video card issues. Thus, the 4GB video card was born

I've heard of that graphics card.

That Quadro series isn't for gamers or consumers.  It's a big business-enterprise card, used for producing extremely high-resolution graphics and 3d animations over multiple monitors.  We're talking 4+ monitors of full HD resolution each, making up a single image.  This isn't for average Joe and the price tag shows it.

It doesn't have the instruction sets designed for games anyway, gamers wouldn't do much with this card.

I'm just shocked that Wal-mart sells it! :p

Walmart would sell drugs and babies if it were legal. :p There's nothing you can't find at walmart.com.

Even a human soul.

Part of a line that reminds me of a Steven King book I heard of, but never read.  Forgot the title.
