Post by: aabicus (LettuceBacon&Tomato) on January 22, 2008, 10:47:47 PM: Hello, my name is a pun on LBT (Land Before Time), I'm a 20 year old who was a huge LBT fan in my earlier years, and has recently rediscovered the series. I've reawakened the old flame I had for this series, but now that I'm older I know how to go beyond the series itself, and use the World Wide Web to chat with other LBT fans like myself!

I found this site because a Youtube User, pokeplayer984, linked to it in the summary box of all of his LBT videos.

Since only eight movies were out when I was young, those are the only ones I've seen so far. I hope to see the ewwer ones soon, but there's not much time for full-length movies in college (especially ones you can't watch with your dorm mates, like LBT!)

MY favorite character is Ducky, and my favorite movie is number &, the Stone of Cold Fire, which includes my favorite song, Beyond the Mysterious Beyond (after seeing it for the first time 7 years later, I found myself remembering some of the lyrics!)

I will not be active much, since I'm curently going through college, but I'll check up occasionally to see if anything intresting has cropped up.

I'm not very internet savvy (especially in the emoticon and Web-speak areas), but I'm finding this site to be extremely user-friendly, and well-built. Glad to meet you all!

We have members of all ages; I'm 21, myself. I'm sure you'll fit in just fine around here. My favorite LBT films are the classics - 1 through 4.

His response was hilarious "NO, THATS DISGUSTING! I WOULDN'T EAT A MOVIE!!" He thought i said LBT :lol . Anyways, welcome to the GoF LBT!

Welcome with us LBT! Please feel hearty invited to join our discussions or start threads of your own. Funnily enough many of us have a similar "record" of watching LBT in their younger days and then rediscover it (though the age of the rediscovering may vary). Many of us are of your age or even older (I'm 23 and by no means the oldest around here). I'm studying at the university and life in a flatshare, but with a room for each individual here, so I am not hampered by my flatmates as far as posting LBT stuff is concerned. In any case I told them about my enthusiasm for LBT. I could have hardly kept it a secret anyway with all the LBT stuff I'm piling up, but of course it depends on the people on whether it is a good idea to give your "secret" away. Maybe you can take a careful check by casually dropping a remark about liking LBT if ever the talk is about movies in general?
Which subjects are you studying?
Mine are history and Anglistics (English).
