Mine was the original "Super Mario Bros." for the old Nintendo console, along with "Duck Hunt" and some track running game where you ran in place on a mat to make your characte run. It was a three-in-one deal.
Oh, I remember that! Including the track-running game. It wasn't my first game, however, as it was my cousin who owned that one.

As a kid, my family (but mainly my brother and I) owned a SNES, and I think it was Super Mario All-Stars that was my first game. It's the oldest game I can remember owning anyway. Many, many fun hours were dedicated to that.

Speaking of which...
The first game I ever played was Super Mario Land for Gameboy. Recently I beat the game for the first time in my life and boy, that felt good. xD
Ah yes, that's a classic. I'll always have a soft spot for that one. Even though there's other Mario platformers I like better, SML has a magical and charming quality to it all the same.

The first movie that came to mind was The Hunger Games: Mockingjay - Part 2. Even though I have seen darker, it's the darkest I've seen in the past few years, and by far the darkest in a series that was already quite grim. There were some brutal deaths, and the film itself just has such a dreary, downtrodden tone to it.

Going back further, there was this adaptation of Dracula/Vlad the Impaler that I saw many years ago at a party with my friends. I can't remember the exact name of the film, but it was quite gruesome, and Vlad certainly lived up to the "impaler" part of his name. :DD

Also at a party with my friends once, I saw Pan's Labyrinth. That was messed up...

If I can include TV shows, I'd also like to nominate several episodes of The X-Files. That show could get awfully graphic and disturbing sometimes.

I had not, in fact, heard of the McDonald's Hot Coffee Case. I just looked it up now. Yikes! Although I would think (or at least hope) that spilling hot coffee or tea in your lap and getting third-degree burns from it would be more the exception than the rule.

Granted. You can now wish upon a shooting star. Every time you do, your wishes will come true. Unfortunately, this means you can only wish for something when you see a shooting star. This results in you spending countless hours and countless restless nights waiting for any shooting stars to appear. But on the plus side, your wishes themselves, when you finally do get to make them, are free from corruption.

I wish for an official release of the uncut version of The Land Before Time.

This morning I re-heated some leftovers from my Easter dinner at my step-mother's house on Sunday. Had some bacon and sausage and a grilled cheese sandwich. Also some tasty watermelon juice to drink. :cerahappy

It sounds like we're similar in that we both enjoy cooler days. It's supposed to be rather warm today, up to 24°C, but I'm looking forward to later in the week when the days will be around the 10°C mark.

I'm with you regarding Minecraft. I too have since grown out of it, but it was an amazing experience back in the day.

Do you have a favourite non-LBT animated film?
