I haven't seen any of the halloween movies, but based on what I think of remakes (excluding Day of the Dead), I probably would like the remake better.

Hated Wizard of Oz, and I've never seen either, so I'll just say the second.

Anaconda or Anacondas 2: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid

OT: Dinoshark and Sharktopus are actually on my good list of syfy movies. Only ones that could be on my bad list are (even if they aren't made by syfy) are Night of the Living Dead (terrible compared to the later films and remakes) and Kill Theory. Not that I hated NOTLD, its just boring compared to its sequels, remakes and remakes of sequels.

All four of those SyFy movies you mention were just awful in my opinion

And Tin Man was nothing like the Wizard of Oz. Everything was Scifi'd. So was Alice.
Ok after careful thought I have to give it to Anacondas: The Hunt for the Blood Orchid. Jennifer Lopez made the original lose. She was just terrible for her part in the movie. Jon Voight's performance was great and creepy.

Sand Serpents. The CGI for that film was better than most SciFi movies.

Chupacabra: Dark Seas or Hammerhead: Shark Frenzy

OT: I thought the same. I mean Frankenfish was good, but those fish looked terribly unrealistic and the acting didn't do the film much justice either. Still, good storyline. And it was loosely (stretching that word a lot) based on the incident in which Chinese snake heads were found here in Louisiana.
