I watched Digimon through all four seasons, and in comparing them to Pokemon, I like Pokemon a little better.  In the American version, the show was edited to remove anything that makes it more for young adults, therefore creating so many loopholes in the story plot.

As for Power Rangers, my brother is a greater fan of them, just from the point he knows much of every Japanese version all the way to the 1970s!  I only like Power Rangers because of basically the martial arts used in them.  Nowadays they use more special effects.

Pokemon's another one I went off. I liked the first series with the first 150 but I never really got into the other series that followed it (Like the choronicles and the Johto League). I've heard of them but I never actually sat down and watched them. Digimon I didnt go near...I thought Pokemon was bad enough but Digimon was not for me :P:

I stoped watching Pokemon becuase it was on too early and I also got tired of the plots you could never keep up with all the pokemons. I did enjoy to play cards, you know that game with pokemon cards, but I was never that good... we had a little league in a cafe near by but I stoped going there... As for Digimon, I never did like it, the voices were to kid like and some of them you couldn't understand a word they were saying (and it was all in portuguese  ) I didn't know they cut off parts or episodes in the US, in here kids get everything which is cool, since it's just a cartoon and it isn't as fun if you cut off the violence... I mean if you cut off the fighting sceens in Dragon Ball you'd have only 3 or 4 episodes left   :P:
I'm hip, I'm cool. I'm a happening fool

It's not the violence that was cut off of Digimon to make it for younger viewers...

I can't really list the cartoons I like here, the list would be way to long.  I've seen some anime, though not a lot I'd guess.  The first being the cut up Gatchaman that they edited and added footage to make Battle of the Planets, having to cut out the violence, considering how tv was way back in the ancient past of the 70's.  Though that was the only way Sandy Frank could get the show aired here so I don't look down at him like some do.  he had no choice.  I think it was Sandy Frank, or his company.  I've seen some anime since then, and a HUGE amount of cartoons from then till now.

As for digimon I've seen some of the first 3 seasons, and season 5.  Saw the first episode of season 4 and 6, didn't like those much.  As for power rangers I've seen a lot of that.  Mainly the first 4 seasons, season 6 (didn't like turbo and never can get past the first few episodes), some of the rest of the seasons up through Jungle Fury.  From Lost galaxy through Jungle Fury I watched the first 9 episodes so I'd have some knowledge of the other seasons.   Never liked the pokemon episode or 2 I've seen, but that is me.

No, but I am tiny, and a little loony.

Oh wait...

The main cartoons I actively watched over time were:

Reboot
Rugrats
PokÈmon
DBZ
Sailor Moon
Ed, Edd, N' Eddy
Courage the Cowardly Dog
Blue's Clues to some extent
Gargoyles
Dexter's Lab
Powerpuff Girls
The Land Before Time (TV Series, movies)
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Futurama
My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic
Adventure Time

What's odd is, even though there are a lot of themes in series through time, only Futurama and Courage didn't have a strong emphasis on friendship as a major, MAJOR theme.

I did not watch all that many cartoons or animated films as a child.  This was partially due to being limited to 3 over-the-air channels for much of my childhood.  However, we did finally get cable access by the time I was 10 and the selection was opened up significantly.

I particularly enjoyed:

Batman: the Animated Series
Doug
Looney Toons
MTV Oddities (Aeon Flux, in particular)
Ren & Stimpy
Rocko's Modern Life (I am amazed at the amount of stuff this show got passed the radar...)
Scooby Doo (original 60s cartoon)
Sonic the Hedghog (Saturday Morning Series)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Original cartoon)
The Land Before Time (films)
Tiny Toons
X-Men

Go ahead and check out my fanfictions, The Seven Hunters, Songs of the Hunters, and Menders Tale.
