Title: YouTube's New Look
Post by: pokeplayer984 on December 01, 2011, 09:55:30 PM: So, I was just recently on YouTube and I noted there was a new look to it. So, what does everyone think?

Do you like it or dislike it? Why?

It's a bit too dark and confuses me so. Also, the new channel looks are incredibly confusing and takes forever to load a picture for the background.

That's just my two cents anyway. -_-

As for YT's new look for the main page, while it will take me a bit to get used to, I kinda like it. Hard to explain why, though. There's just something about it that makes me like it a little.

Granted the change was unnecessary, but as far as changes go, it could have been a lot worse.

Post by: ChaoticMistress on December 01, 2011, 10:34:20 PM: I kinda have to agree with LBTDiclonius, I don't like the new layout of YouTube seeing as it's too dark and rather dull (seeing as I'm used to the older, brighter layout)... But, it certainly could've have been worse, so, um, I don't enjoy the new layout but I don't hate it either. :p

Post by: Justin1993 on December 02, 2011, 09:06:29 PM: My thoughts are: despite what YouTube says about the new layout making it easier to "connect to the videos that matter to you" ( :slap ), I think it was more of a change in aesthetics than organization. The layout looks nice (the color scheme is, as LBTDiclonius stated, dull and dark), but it's cluttered. If it was more organized, I would be more accepting.

It's dull. It's dark. It's cluttered. Really, I just don't like it.

Definitely a step in the wrong direction, YouTube. -_-
