Title: Trouble with MSN messenger
Post by: Threehorn on February 07, 2005, 08:45:03 PM: Just now msn messenger went down and not sure if anyone else is suffering the same problem as me since I can't get back in. I will have to try tomorrow.

Is anyone else having the same trouble as me?

However, the reason why I won't be found in the MSN very much is that it is extremely time consuming. I mean no offence, and it is not like I considered talking to people a waste of time, but while the MSN messenger is up many other programs (including Word) are "of limit" because they are in conflict with MSN. As it frequently happens that one doesn't really know what to say but doesn't want to be the one to wave goodbye (and usually I still end up being the one to wave goodbye anyway) you end up doing next to nothing :(
You need but a fraction of the time to get the information across as an email. However, email contact to the people I met in MSN stopped ever since. After I got a webcam for xmas I'd actually love to really talk to people using MSN (I might even be able to enhance my pronounciation), but for some reason MSN transfers only the picture, but not the sound :angry:

Post by: Malte279 on February 13, 2005, 05:36:04 PM: There is a new version of the MSN messenger (v 6.2) available now. Hopefully they fixed some of their bugs. Perhaps micros can be used in MSN as well as in Yahoo now Arvens?

Post by: Petrie on February 13, 2005, 05:51:37 PM: 6.2 has been out for ages. :rolleyes: I can use mics without a problem...it's something to do with my parent's firewall that blocks it because I can use mics with MSN on the college campus, but not at my parent's house. ;)
