It is indeed.  The scenery is based on Iceland.

Anyone played Spirit of the North?  It's an indie game that was released back in 2019.  There's no dialogue in the game and only a very simple story, but the graphics, game world, and background music are all stunningly beautiful.  The game is about a fox exploring the ruins of an ancient Nordic civilization based on Iceland.  There's a lot of magic and puzzle solving and the game is similar to Okami, Fallen Ember, and Journey.  Here's the gameplay trailer.

Vader was a BEAST in that latest episode!  Between him pulling the ship out of the air and ripping it apart with The Force, and him basically toying with Reva, that was awesome.  Also, I like how he broke the lightsaber in half and tossed it to her just to toy with her some more.

Been playing Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga.  Been pretty fun.  Free play mode is awesome, especially some of the noncanon character interactions.

Everything after "Terminator 2" and everything after "Aliens" is noncanon to me.

At least the Star Wars sequels were bad in a "so bad they're good" kind of way.  As sloppy as the writing was, at least the acting was (for the most part) decent and I actually got invested in the characters. The prequels were just straight up bad, with their horrible dialogue, wooden acting, racist stereotypes, and underdeveloped characters.

Red Dead Redemption 2's "wanted" system.  Commit some ridiculous offense that no lawman in the old west would have cared about?  Get ten lawmen on your tail who mobilize and coordinate  faster than modern-day cops do.  Rob some idiot way out in the middle of the wilderness?  A witness will always "conveniently" show up right afterward.  It's like the Old West was just full of tattletales.

I got knocked down by a random goat out by Emerald Ranch and I kicked the goat in retaliation.  Some busybody tattletale ran ALL THE WAY TO VALENTINE to report me to the law for "animal cruelty".

I'm trying to imagine how that conversation with the sheriff went.

Tattletale: Sheriff!  Sheriff!

Sheriff Malloy: What is it, son?

Tattletale: I just some some good-for-nothing outlaw kick a goat out by Emerald Ranch!

Sheriff Malloy: Kicking goats?  We'll have none of that in the state of New Hanover!  Mount up, boys!  Let's run this goat-kicking SOB down!

Player gets slapped with a $10 bounty.

I ditched Netflix a long time ago.  Wait, they want to shove ads down our throats even if we pay for the service?  Yeah, they can all go step on some LEGOs.

2. When a story's summary revolves around "A young girl named _____."  (Seen that a loooot, and the premise is almost invariably generic).

I can think of one example where it was done well, and all the rest are just blatant ripoffs of that premise.

I'd love to see Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming someday.  It's stunningly beautiful and it served as the inspiration for the setting of a story I wrote.

I didn't do them.  I just paid for them and thought I'd share them.  4th (and at the moment final) page.  Sweet, sweet karma for the evil leopard boi.

In case you're wondering why these wild cats are wearing collars, they're radio tracking collars.  As for how an African leopard ended up in North America, that's up to the reader to decide.  XD

So here's part 1 of a comic I commissioned from Arven92 a while back featuring Chui, the villainous leopard from Argen92's "Africa" comic squaring off with an OC of mine.

This theme which plays during one of Red Dead Redemption 2's epilogue missions.  I was bummed out from Arthur's fate and then I was treated to this.  Hell yeah!  John Marston's back!

The many miles we walked
The many things we learned
The building of a shrine
Only just to burn
May the wind be at your back
Good fortune touch your hand
May the cards lay out a-straight
All from your command
That's the way it is
That's the way it is
That's the way it is
That's the way it is
Blue heron leaves the northern sky
It trusts the journey to new heights
What's the meaning of the scar
If we don't learn how to heal?
Should we ever be apart?
Then how does it feel?
That's the way it is
That's the way it is
That's the way it is
That's the way it is
Shine light into darkness
That's the way it is (I know)
That's the way it is (So many miles to walk)
That's the way it is
(So many things we've got to learn)
That's the way it is
(You're gonna be made to cry)
That's the way it is
(Don't give give up, you don't give it up)
That's the way it is

I must stress that these aren't my work.  They were done by other artists as commissions of my characters.  I just wanted to share them

That's St. Mary Lake used for the background.  And yes, I enjoy this artist's work very much.  I follow her on Patreon and I've been following one of her comics ever since it came out.
