So, today was Game 6 of the World Series 2016, and Chicago won against Cleveland, making the series tied up 3 to 3.  As such, now the question is, who will win Game 7?

Will it be Cleveland, or will Chicago actually beat their so called "curse" and finally win?

Your thoughts?

As for me, I don't care too much.  Either way, I won't be losing sleep over it.  However, it will be an interesting few days on the internet if the Cubs do win.

What is truly great about this series is either way a long-term sports "curse" is going to be broken.  The Cleveland Indians have not won a World Series since 1948 and the Chicago Cubs infamously have not won since 1908, or even been to the series since 1945... until now.

Personally I am rooting for the Cubs in this series, but I think the last game is going to be pretty close when you factor in the pitcher lineup and the home field advantage of the Indians.  Either way, one city will be celebrating tonight and the other will be in despair.

It should be an interesting game.  :yes

Not sure since the cubs have lost so many games so there's probably no chance of them winning,

The sheer number of bone-headed decisions by the Cub's manager, Maddon, is astonishing.  He let the first pitcher get replaced in the middle of the inning... results in the Indians getting 2 runs.  He then gets Lester out early... results in Chapman allowing 3 runs and the game is tied... and then he orders Biaz to bunt with 2 strikes resulting in an out when the runner was at third base.

If the Indians win this then Cub fans will want the manager's head on a platter.  Horrible decision after horrible decision.

And the curse ends... After 108 years of futility, the Cubs have finally again won the World Series.  This game had everything, a team blowing a 5-1 lead, a rain delay going into the tenth inning, and the game ending at 7-8 with the potential winning run at the plate.  Though many people will be criticizing Maddon's decisions tonight, at least he can breath a sigh of relief that he did not cause the ultimate choke.  In the end the Cubs were able to pull it off.

I am sure the parties in Chicago tonight will be crazy.  They have waited over a century for this moment.

The curse on the Cubs is officially over!  They have won the World Series in the 10th Inning, 8 to 7!

However, I wonder if they deseverd that win.  Further thoughts on that, rhombus?

Anyways, next few days will be interesting as the internet explodes over this.  I will grab the snacks and enjoy the show.

See ya later! :wave

Not into sports myself, but my GF is.   Lots of celebrations indeed I can imagine over the next few days and the whole weekend.

I would say that the Cubs certainly deserved the win with their amazing 3-game winning streak to overcome a 3-1 deficit after the fourth game.  As for game seven, the only person on the Cubs team that I would say did not deserve the win was their manager.  His astonishing mistakes nearly cost them the series. Despite his blunders and the massive near-choke when the Indians tied the game, the Cubs were able to keep it together and not give up, earning them a well-deserved and hard-fought win.
