Grandpa Longneck immediately looked up in the tree and indeed Ducky was where she said. He raised his head to better reach and help get her down. "Don't worry everything is alright." he said in a calm and helpful voice.

Ducky reaches out and walks along the branch to get onto Grandpa Longneck's head. She feels safer there then in a tree, and it is far easier to get down. "I hope the others are ok, yes I do." She said with some concern in her voice.

Littlefoot and Mim are still buzy with the fast biter. Mim trying to put it to sleep and Littlefoot to hang on and slow it down.

Petrie is still performing his mission till he's sure he's reached everyone he can and flier grown ups are told.

Grandpa Longneck then says to Ducky as he puts her on the ground. "There we are, now get to safety!" as he redirected his focus once more to Kargoth and said "Now put the flyer down!"

"As you wish" said Kragoth and he released Longtail from his grip. The poor flyer fell limply to the ground and then Kragoth turned his hungry glare up at the longneck

"I've delt plenty with your type before, longneck."

Agnog finally fell forward into the forest soil he let out a scream of anger and rolled about to battle his attackers

Blackclaw soon came out into the clearing from the woods, he looked about sniffing while searching for his prey, little did he know that a massive and very angry herd of adult dinosoars had spotted him and were advancing towards him.

"Charge!" demanded Mr. Threehorn, Blackclaw turned upon hearing this. His eyes widened in dismay seeing that he was now outnumbered by a large herd.

"Oh poopie..." he said to himself before he was quickly overtaken

Grandpa Longneck then chuckled and said "Oh really you have now? Well let's just see about that!" and with one mighty swing his tail whipped over Kragoth as the elderly longneck missed, but he was more than willing to try the attack again, and this time he hit his intended mark as Kragoth fell to the floor.

Longtail was barely conscious but he could hear what was going on and he wanted to help...but his body was tired and his spirit was broken....'I...guess...I wasn't....strong...enough.' as he let sleep clam his weakened body.

Kragoth rolled to his feet growling angrilly, he made a leap towards the elderly dinosoar with every intention to tear into him

Ducky took off running as fast as she could. She wasn't sure where to go, but made sure it was not in the direction the other two fast biters took and knew there'd be a battle where she was soon. She headed off in the direction of where her and Spike's mother's nest was, assuming some grown up should be there even if her mother wasn't.

Littlefood help his ground as he saw the fast biter start to sag to the ground hissing. He maintained his hold in it's tail and as it fell to the ground he released it's tail and moved to sit on it's tail.

Mim held onto him for a bit longer to be sure he seemed trully unconscious. She turned to Littlefoot saying, "Quick, go and get some vines." She said. She waited a bit while Littlefoot ran off. She then released the fast biter and went off to find some vines. She came back after findins a few short lengths she could tear off. She used these tie the wrists of the fast biter. With what Littlefoot brought back she tied his ankles and made a muzzle. She then took a length of vine and tied it to one of the fast biter's arms. She took some leaves and partially crushed them to release the juice. She put these on the cuts on her forearms.

"That looks bad." Littlefoot said.

"No, their minor cuts, they'll be fully healed quickly, especially with these leaves on them. She took some loose thin vines and loosely wrapped them around her forearms. She handed part of the vine tied to the fast biter's arm to Littlefoot.

"Help me drag him back?" She asked.

"Where to?" He asked.

"Good question, how about back were we came from, unless we happen to see some elders of the valley before them. It's up to them to decide his fate." She said getting up and indicating the fast biter with her thumb.

"Is that why you're not...." Littlefoot said before he took the vine into his mouth.

"Yes, they have been here longer then I have so I'll let them decide." She said, taking a bit of the vine in her hands and started to drag the fast biter back.

Grandpa Longneck just barely dodged the attack by Kragoth and reared back on his hind legs, and just as he was about to bring his full weight down upon the sharptooth, he stopped as Kargoth had a slight advantage in his claws...in the form of Longtail. This angered the elderly longneck to no ends, but he had to do something! Then he had an idea... "Give me the child....and...I'll let you leave the valley, as long as you promise not to hunt anyone else here."

Cyrix however had just caught up to Blackclaw and saw that he had been subdued by the rest of the valley herd, he smirked and said "Well it looks like I wasn't needed after all...." then a thought crossed his mind "Where are the little ones?"

Argaya was right on Agnog's tail. She opened her mouth, and a blast of lightning shot from her mouth at Agnog.

Longtail heard Vylor speak to him, and then a warm friendly feeling started to rise from the tip of his tail and continue through his body, and as it reached his head his eyes snapped open and he realized that Grandpa longneck needed help...and he pretended to still be asleep waiting for the right moment to strike Kargoth.

Ducky continued to run towards her and Spike's mother's nest. When she grew near she heard a familiar voice not to far way. She turned towards the voice and saw Diver waving and shouting. She turned towards her. She saw Diver and dodged one of the grown ups and was able to get to her as the grownup got to where Diver was. The two of them hugged each other. "We are over here." Diver said. The grownup lead them back to where some of the young ones were being watched over by some of the grown ups that were not hunting the fast biters.

Littlefoot and Mim continued to drag the muzzled and tied up fast biter back to where they had come from, unless they came across some elders. They didn't know of the battle Littlefoot's grandfather was in and continued at their own walking pace.

Petrie was confident he found enough grown ups to tell so he found a nice high spot in a tree to land in and rest. "Me see any fast biters me can fly away even if they climb." He said to himself as he settled in to rest.

Grandpa longneck was now at a stand still point...He could try attacking Kargoth, but even the smallest attack could result in Longtail being hurt, and he simply could not allow that to happen, however if Longtail stayed with the full grown sharptooth, this child was sure to meet his end....and quickly too....

'What can I do?' said the elderly longneck to himself....then he noticed something...Longtail blinked...well that's what it looked like anyway...so Grandpa Longneck decided to see exactly what would happen in the next few moments knowing that those moments could decide both of there fates.

"Well,my fellow elder, what will it be?" asked Kragoth with a menacing smile. He little knew that Longtail was starting to come to.

"Would you save this winged pest? Or would you save yourself?"

Longtail's eyes snapped open as he said in response to Kargoth's question...."I think I'll save myself!" He then brought his tail up and around slapping Kargoth in the head, forcing him to let go. Grandpa Longneck chuckled at the sight and said "That's very good Longtail." The little flyer smiled as he said to the elder "Now let's get this sharptooth out of our home!" As both leaf-eaters took up battle stances.

Ducky was with her siblings and some other young ones being watched over by some grown ups. Petrie was still resting in a tree, though keeping a lookout for anything scary, which to Petrie is likely a lot.

Littlefoot and Mim were dragging the Fast biter back to where they had come from, but were not quite there yet.

"How do you think they got into the valley?" Littlefoot asked.

"It is possible to be very sneaky if one knows how. Going from tree to tree, and rock, one can travel with not being seen much if one knows how." Mim said.

Cyrix then chose to go looking for the others instead of waiting around. He started walking back the way he came hoping to run into someone on his way back unaware of the danger Longtail and Grandpa longneck were in right now. "I do hope everyone else is okay." said Cyrix to himself as he continued to walk deeper into the forest.
