Not only that, but underneath the "cuteness" of G1 was a lot of darkness. I'd say nearly as dark as Batman Beyond.

Anyways, I suspect we might see a history lesson about how crappy the world was under Nightmare Moon.

I'm kind of tempted to see Rescue at Midnight Castle. Tirek looks like a pretty intimidating villain. Be awesome if he was in Friendship is Magic.

It's sad really that people got offended by Derpy. She didn't and or wasn't making fun if the disabled. She was there to say it's okay to make mistakes. Tons of fans look up to Derpy as a inspirational Character. I have a Lazy eye and I wasn't offended at all. She is our mascot and she is a character to look up to. She was also a fan made character none of the writers made her a fan did and they name her Derpy. Hope we get to see her more in season 4. I'd love that and thousands of bronies would as well.

I think Lauren Faust mentioning originally it was an animation mistake why her eyes were like that. And some folks get upset over things they don't need to get upset over.

But really, how can people get so worked up over this guy? He's a SHOCK DJ! He's been trolling before it was cool. I could understand being mad at him if he went to Bronycon and beat up some Bronies but to get mad because he laughs at a small fraction of the fandumb? Grow a spine people. Learn to laugh at yourselves.

Also, I'm surprised(not really) to read that there are Bronies drawing pictures/making flash videos of their pony characters beating Stern up. Wow guys. You want to beat up a man who's legally a senior citizen because he said some not-so-nice things about you? Dat love and tolerance.

I know Animeboye that is so wrong that the bronies want to do that. This community has gone down hill recently. There is no love and tolerance anymore in the fandom bronies don't respect each other for liking other stuff From the fandom at all. If you love other Children's Animation shows most I'd them will ignore you. A lot of Bronies hate Furries for no reason what so ever. So this community has gone down the drain now. And it's sad really. I don't like getting into fan wars and fights. I ignore them all together. There is no room for wars and fights. We should get along and so fourth. But I doubt it will ever happen.

Sone bronies take great offense to this but I don't at all. Most bronies act like babies when a talk show host like Howard Stern bashes us. I just ignore all the hate and don't even care what people think.

To any Bronies who might be lurking on this topic who take the show so seriously, read what I quoted. Read it over and over until it's engraved into your minds.

MLP is just a show. A good show but a show nonetheless. There is no need to take it so seriously. Look, I could understand if Stern attacked a Brony or something but these reactions are disgusting. Stern may not be the greatest human being on the planet but he's still a human regardless. He has the right to say what he wants, even if what he says offends people.

Just lighten up. Step back, laugh at yourself for a moment, then move on with your day. There's more to life than just ponies.

True but there are hard core bronies that make this show there life and I know a hard core brony that takes the Elements Of Harmony serious. I love the show and I will always will have a spot for it but I have other show likes besides this one. I don't make ponies my entire life. But most bronies do and they should stop and move on and watch other stuff. Not focus there life's on this one show.

Agree with everything you said Petrie. This is currently one of my favorite shows but it's not my most favorite per se. If I were to go by what my favorite current cartoons are, MLP would be number 2, right under Adventure Time. I wasn't too keen on Adventure Time at first due to the artwork but after watching all of seasons one and two, I have to say that I really enjoy it, perhaps even more than Friendship is Magic.
